I love you that it's so great to be here I just love you and of course Michelle speaks very high yes oh I love that I love all I love you thank you like you're myself at last I wanted you for ages really would you want to drink love I mean I've got Diet Coke I've got seconds I'll take tropical I've got cranberry I'd love some cranberry and maybe some sparkling water or something like that you don't want me to drink because the clothes will come off and I'll make a fool of my back then they won at the horn a little oh I let me get your non-straight oh my goodness you're gonna mix it yourself yeah I love being a soldier I wouldn't do it Oh Japanese yeah you got societies you're in it's also like a urine tract infection yeah yeah I know it well is that like a drag queen si I think yeah RuPaul's Drag Race yeah you know I've never seen anything like it yeah I think that's what everyone says you rewind I mean if you messes it you want it back yeah and you're that just matter it's amazing I love it - I've always loved draggling I'm so happy - truTV it's been brought it to the UK yeah it's fabulous and I'm so excited that everybody here is going to get to meet all of my girls look at you you are on every bus in London I rode you this more yeah I think I think cause of the back now if anyone hasn't was how would you describe it to pee well it is a competition reality show where we are looking for the next drag superstar and we put these kids through challenges that are not unlike my own career where they act and sing and dance and make costumes and stuff and uh you know and at that point but really the series is it's all about the tenacity of the human spirit because Queens are some crafty ass MF you know oh yeah yeah that's what the show is really about yeah I know that the great thing about it is as well and it sounds like a cliche but if you see you'll know what I'm saying some of these people through drag I mean they've been thrown out the house has been made homeless yeah the hiv-positive this is an escape for them this is the time for them to be themselves they know what there was needed saying anymore escape and have a bit of fantasy yeah there is a heart to it and that's what you you really take away that's why the show is a success because you get to see that when you have a dream it really cannot be held down and it inspires the audience because he's what you're right these kids have been up against everything you can imagine and society you know and be doing drag in a male-dominated culture is like an act of treason really so they're my heroes are you doing a British show out of the hair or well we are well truTV has bought all the seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race and then maybe it will be the springboard for you cavers drag race fingers crossed I do a lot of great Queens here yeah you know who are you know we're different from American Queens I mean the Queen's here are you know a more nudge-nudge wink-wink yes yes would you call it a sexier name I'm doing America is that you Jujubee yes monsoon wrangling in the role like that yeah over here we like you know patio doors to do Kubek Aida which is fine which is time but yes we know is louder than weird glamorous as the American one well but that's a bit of the English sense of humor and I grew up watching Monty Python it's you know it's more biting it likes to take the piss out of things I love that yeah that's why a UK version of drag race would be so brilliant yeah it'd be brilliant if you haven't seen it yet you are infantry this is just a taste of what you can expect on the amazing RuPaul's Drag Race oh my god right things now and they want when they start out they want to look like Beyonce and Britney who did you want to open you start out who you sure you know what I wasn't that kind of green I started you know I grew up watching Monty Python's Flying Circus so my thing was you know smeared lipstick and combat boots now as you know all of that yes and as time went on and I needed to make money I might change my look to to be like a streetwalker or Soul Train dance you know and that was really hot but I never wanted to look like any I was influenced by you know cher and David Bowie and Diana Ross yeah but I always uh you know aspired to be myself you know that's why my name my real name is is RuPaul you know Nene yeah I don't advise that for people I will you if you're going to get in the show up as change your name because you don't want it on public records now now at least records and things okay has anyone ever come on to you mistaking you for genuine for a woman federal gone white admitted what's it no actually they haven't you know they because at you know I'm 64 in stocking feet in drag you know I wear heels this tall my hair's no one would ever think that and um I mean if they did they need to get out more on didn't it funny when my friends came over and I said you haven't seen RuPaul's Drag Race so we binge watch again started watching over and over again and he started having a few Stella's pants of Stella's and then by like third one in he started fancying the women you know was that the Queen yeah Latrice Royale Latrice Royale don't give a funky yeah yes it shot advancing huh that's fine you know I years a bit of doing drag I realized that there's one common thing with men and is that men will stick it in anything they will say whatever they you know they'll say other things when they're you know it with their family and friends yeah when they're alone any men I'm talking all men although man well dude we'll stick it in anything I swear true they're laughing but yeah they're nervous yeah so that's that's what men I'm a man you're a man yeah you know that's true oh yeah yeah yeah maybe not and I've got to ask why didn't you come in track today you know that's a good question yeah I just know well you know the funny thing about me doing drag you know what honestly you would get a different person the energy you would treat me differently you couldn't get this sort of one-on-one okay sort of my drag persona sort of sucks the air out of the room yeah yeah yes it's larger than life and you know it would make it probably still uncomfortable darling yeah it would but it's funny you say that because then you must've told Grady over here you had this fantastic drag queens or Lili Savage and then he started like not doing Lily so much and being himself and he actually said he would go to parties and there would be people oh you've come as Paul you're not as lily ya know do we get people bit disappointed when they see you rock up hey well you know you know usually the only time people ever see me in drag anymore is if I'm on television but I got a say years ago before I got famous it was so much fun but once I got famous it became a real job yeah you know have been times where night you sit you know you would have done would being a woman here or could have done would be in a manner because the first time I ever went in a woman's toilet yeah uh-huh you women are so lucky you go in there there's carpet potpourri butterfly you're going to men's toilet Nate oh okay hobby we're women I mean jeez you must have been the person oh my goodness about the way we shall always know I sir do you know I gotta tell you I always just hold it in I don't go to the ladies room I don't go to any room you know I just hold it in really if I'm in drag I just hold it in because you know I'm actually kind of old attacking all the talking yes that's only takes forever oh darling I've got a quite a meaty tuck it yeah you know a lot of listen a cooling you know between me down there oh yeah you like those balloon puppies you get a kids party now have you ever talked how now relax I wonder where does he go listen okay yeah I was hoping it would come up yes right okay your land would you talk yeah good yeah that's good yeah end it in there yes home fella me yeah that's it see that smile you see your mind's a little less yellow than that okay just like this you take yeah yeah yeah you take that like that yeah and you come around the battle like well it was kind of nice oh let me let me get let me oh yeah okay here's hat mr. This man is so cool. Can someone from this country feel me in on this show? I recognize it from a Britney Spears interview where she was very cheerful. I like how comfortable celebs are with him
