RTX 3060 Ti - Helldivers 2

hello guys chisp here welcome back to another video in this one my friends I'm going to be testing a GeForce RTX 360 TI in Hell divers 2 this one is the founders Edition version of the card we are running it with the latest NVIDIA drivers and I'm not manually overclocking it you can see all of its specs right here in Tech powerups GPU Z resizable bar is enabl and this is the gddr 6 version of the card not the X and over on the left we're pairing it with a ryzen 979 50x 3D with half of its course disabled we're only running the 3D vcash course so it gets better performance and over on the memory tab we're using 32 GB of ddr5 6,000 MHz in dual Channel let's get into it shall we and here we are my friends in the spaceship let's go over the settings first I'm starting at 1080P and we're also going to test this one at 1440p 4K and 8K resolutions and we're using the ultra settings preset at the moment which is basically maxed out settings here and here we have it my friends we just arrived getting 70s down here that's interesting so it's getting the same FPS as like the oh yes I I I switched to a shotgun here I forgot completely forgot oh boy no this this might be worse than the other weapon the submachine gun or whatever oh boy oh boy okay okay okay okay so this is the first time that I'm playing a medium difficulty match over here well not match but this thing whatever this is anyways as I was saying this is getting very similar fps to what the 470 TI super got at 4K Ultra settings or maybe High settings I think on high settings it was in the 70s on Ultra it was in the 60s but the good news is from what I've seen so far this game is super consistent when it comes to its FPS so even if you see a ton of explosions on screen and a ton of smoke effects and so on it is not really going to drop your FPS by much maybe by like five or something so that means that at 1080p resolution it shouldn't drop from 60 FPS at any times okay which is very very good um yeah totally forgot we got to close these up there we go these explode there it is nice good stuff go leave me alone now leave me alone you God damn it okay okay okay so many so many what the hell how do I kill the big ones by the way not these the the ones with the armor I don't know I don't know what to do about them maybe throw grenades yeah let's go for you boy there we go there it is smoke effects as you can see not dropping the FPS all of the enemies are kind of the same aren't I've only killed spider looking things so far it's it's getting kind of stale guys maybe it's just this world that I'm playing in that has pretty much the same enemies everywhere I don't know maybe in other worlds other galaxies things are going to be different oh boy come on okay uh let me just check the map once again come on can I check I can't check the map while reloading seriously all right there's another thing over there in this direction oh I don't have grenades though guys how do I close this without grenades no maybe we got to check for grenades around here oh my God it dropped there we go it gets more intensive in some areas as you can see interesting maybe it's like the vomit from this guy over here I don't know I think I'm going to die please heal yourself God damn it oh if I die I can actually go back and now I'll have grenades so that's great ooh there's a cannon over there can I use it wait a second my friends we might be on to something oh how do I use this thing I really want it what the heck okay oh no no no no no no no no no no no no you move you move very fast can I explode the thing no oh wait there's actually something here oh wait a second stop how do I okay okay okay okay wait wait come on explode that thing seriously doesn't explode ow but it means that we can probably utilize that huge gun over there oh my God oh my God no what up I hate these mines God okay I have a grenade I'm going to throw the grenade right there come over here don't stop I killed myself instead of the best oh are you serious all right let's go this way then close another one of those holes and it's probably time to go up to 1440p actually here we go 2560 by 1440p resolution using Ultra setting still and of course now we're dropping from 60 FPS but it's really close anyways on on high settings it will probably stay above 60 FPS at this resolution which is quite nice once again and notice the vitalization in this game it's pretty low doesn't really have very high resolution textures I guess at least not at these lower resolutions um but it looks quite good in the overall picture you know where is the thing that I should destroy I don't know who they're all there oh I got a machine gun Get Wrecked seriously that armored guy dude so annoying and there's a couple of them actually oh boy you know what 60 FPS on average is definitely better than what I was expecting I thought I had reloaded my gun I thought I had reloaded my gun oh boy okay okay we might be close yeah there's the hole right there oh boy come on close of freaking hole come on oh my God I got killed again this is hard guys especially alone I don't know why I'm playing alone in this one oh boy come on come on come on come on come on stop it stop it you okay we got this we got this so that thing is closed right you uh let me just pull up this okay wait a second 1 minute 15 seconds we got to go we got to go to the extraction Point wait I cannot enable the extraction without completing all of the objectives no well I guess we're going to play at 4K Ultra settings and see how it performs before going into the next one on high oh it feels pretty bad with 30 FPS guys but it is still playable you know like this a console game anyways ohes will be oh seriously I guess it would be 30 plus FPS all of the time at 4K Ultra which which is decent once again if you want to lock it to 30 FPS and have that experience maybe add a little bit of motion blur you can have it and it's going to be playable I guess anyway let's turn it down to the high preset this is it quite a lot of things are down from Ultra and I'm going to go back to 1080p resolution Let's test 1080p again but on high settings this time around I'm going to restart the game just to apply everything going to start counting the FPS and let's kill some alien life shall we my friends oh these are different ones okay this is still in the same world but in a different area of course cuz now it's night time so yeah that's good to see that there are there is some variety uh my God in the aliens you know oh boy oh what the hell why did you throw a huge explosion over there just to kill a couple of guys seriously also this is awfully close to what I experienced with the Intel XC graphics uh just in terms of the graphics of course FPS are much higher here with 36 DTI but the XC Graphics oh my gosh what am I going to do holy crap wait a second I I don't I don't know what I'm doing it's an artillery thingy we can actually use artillery on the enemies great stuff all right our objective is in that direction but yeah guys if you want 60 plus 100% of the time you want to make sure that you won't drop into the 50s High settings at 1080p will definitely do that 91 FPS average with 81% lows is a really solid experience indeed just going to go prone here and we're going to move up to 1440p and uh as I was saying previously about the Intel XE Graphics that is just completely broken in this game it delivers very similar visuals to these but in the other map that we were playing before so it's day time and it looks like it's night time because all of the textures are basically black with with the intell Graphics it's it's extremely bad but yeah it is what it is it's probably down to the drivers or something like that getting 69 FPS on average my friends this is very good indeed it's actually what the 470 TI super got at 4K Ultra settings and uh yeah it's a similar experience apparently won't really drop too much from 60 and once again it's very close in performance to what we had at 1080p ultra settings uh and it looks very similar actually looks better in terms of resolution but from high to ultra there isn't really that big of a difference so I think at 1440p I would choose these settings right here what is going on guys like what the heck what are we supposed to do bug breach detected are we just oh almost killed myself there okay I don't like these Graphics here this is weird why would you make a game that's just like this the game is so pretty during daytime but during night time it's ugly glit yes well since this map is super ugly I think I'm just going to return to ship alone and test 4K high in another area ah this is much prettier now guys okay I like it it also seems to be a little bit less intensive than nighttime as well we got like 70 FPS average I think previously and it was dropping into the 60s more often than here during the day so there's that now 4K resolution using the high settings preset oh boy it's getting very similar fps to what we saw on Ultra previously where we were testing ultra settings the last time around so that means that in other areas like this one it would probably drop into like the 20s on Ultra but again like nobody should expect great performance from a 3060 TI at 4K Ultra settings anyways so the fact that you can play with 30ish FPS here on High while maintaining really good graphics is very nice you know like it's it's still playable it doesn't stutter at all which is the most important thing in my opinion and the most impressive thing about this game because it released in 2024 all of the developers seem to think that stuttering is a very good feature and they put it in their games but not this one and with 4 FPS average it's not amazing but it's not bad either I could definitely play the game like this I prob wouldn't because it can do much better at low resolutions but it is playable okay lastly I want to check it out on low settings apparently it applies all of the settings aside from the texture quality this requires a restart probably and yeah we can get 60 plus FPS on low settings with the 360 TI in this game apparently and it doesn't look absolutely awful either because we still got those High textures enabled it's pretty crisp because of 4K resolution and we're getting around the same or a little bit higher FPS as we saw at 1080p Ultra and 1440p high but you're sacrificing way too much for that higher resolution here at 4K so I definitely do not recommend this guys also the shells coming out of the gun that's really detailed actually great attention to detail look at this guys yeah boy the diving mechanic is just very very interesting let's go all right I kind of want to go in and be like a hero oh that's a very bad idea indeed oh boy oh boy okay my boys are shooting at them now we got to go in and destroy their nest right the the thing that they Spawn from the hole basically I got to throw a grenade into the hole where the heck is the entrance come on all right we're finally here let's go kill these bastards come on oh droping into the 50s yeah can definitely feel the little slowdowns oh I'm dead no I'm not I'm fine o wait a second can we kill them like this yes we can that's nice all right now I'm going to do this guys come on throw the grenade into the hole destroy their eggs this super disrespectful towards the the aliens actually they're just here chilling with their families making some eggs and stuff all right so that's it for 4K low settings it's not enough to get 60 plus 100% of the time you got to use some upscaling but upscaling in this game looks really bad so I wouldn't really use it even at 4K resolution let me just check it out with quality upscaling for example yeah it's so pixelated guys it's really shimmery not so much pixelated but shimmery it's it's weird it's like FSR 1.0 or something like that maybe it's FSR 2 ha on low set settings actually looks like FSR 2 but I wouldn't use this and finally guys we're at 8K resolution vrm is maxed out now as expected I mean 8K is is super super high over resolution and uh it's getting 15 frames per second vrm doesn't seem to be as big of a bottleneck as it is in other games actually the fact that it is maxed out is probably not dropping the performance by that much compared to other games where it gets like 1 FPS because the VM is filled up completely uh but yeah it's not playable obviously nobody expected it to be playable right so I'm going to go to Graphics here change this to low takes a while to change it oh god oh we're being attacked already guys please help please help oh my God I can't even lower it there we go come on apply please oh what's going on oh what the hell is that animation what what is going on we broke the game we broke the game oh my goodness use V okay to heal ourselves so low textures I don't think it's applied yeah we might actually need to restart to play with low textures again that's probably the only setting that needs a restart in this game oh my god it feels so bad it it's really bad okay buddy okay so I just restarted the game we're still at 8K ra using the same lowest settings here and uh it's still getting 17 FPS 18 FPS around this area which is the least intensive part of the game actually and the vrm is still maxed out and swapping things into the ram so it's safe to say it's not going to get better oh my God it gets down into single digits here by looking at the window that's so weird but yeah 8K is just way
