Royal Marine Training seen through the EYES of a US Marine

hey this video is going to be a reaction to the Royal Marine Commandos training there's a video below that will show the reaction to the current boot camp training video so let's get it going what I want to do here give you a flavor for what Marine Corps boot camps like here we go that's it you'll know if it's enough when you come Fussell the test you don't get the drama they are confined to the foundation block where they will be put through the initials - yeah a little bit of a difference there in the indica here we go the slide for life looks like something we both got whether it's Royal Marines or US every two weeks 60 young men and balkon the longest military training regime in the world shocker this is Lipson the one base that trends every member of the Navy's elite fighting force yeah they can't be very proud of this interaction here what kind of nonsense this is but take a look at the in dock and the squad bay they come in - it's pretty casual you know they're dressed up in suits and I got there but you know suitcases with them it's all different the Marine Corps I'm used to going you reo my voice little known for some noise I'm the queen those you don't know me my name this is enough it's not for me one okay does anybody here who wishes not to attest yeah we've already got a quitter right so good news is they letting this guy quick cuz you don't want this guy in your platoon for you know 13 weeks or 30 weeks or whatever it is get him out of here you know no racks they got big wall lockers look at that chow hall - in the military environment things are taken away from you only good about that I know it's gonna be [ __ ] but what I want to see is an improvement speed up so then I'll just mugging me off actually doing what I'm telling them to do and the way we want it yeah as you guys know I mean you're not show up to boot camp in a suit and tie I appreciate it but you know show up with a big suitcase and a suit and tie and you know kind of smoking and joke when they walk in looks like the cadre know the drill instructors are pretty squared away but you know it's a new breed of guys or something coming so it's a lot different than the US Marines to keep going can those two the blue board over and they can't tie a tie either look too hot you blow this is the best of luck yeah on some point just gonna not listen to you the only course I'm gonna see it's when it's folded they vote for that now so you have done so far you seem to mess increasingly but you need to hey do the same thing in the US Marine Corps will they'll sit down and the D eyes will go through you know how to make a rack how to press utilities chod your boots you know they'll kind of walk you through the stuff because you don't know what you're doing looks like that's the same deal here let's see if these guys can follow through that's it yeah this is straightening out if you seal this side and still in Austin all tits and ass way Mia I've never any notes on the bravery and LA stuff [Music] you know that's the same thing pool comp looks like the same thing so if they don't have boots on their new pool cop with no boots that's a little different and you know no flak jacket so we in the US Marines are doing pool comm boots utilities flak jacket a rubber rifle and a helmet you know now I didn't share the whole pool clamp because they didn't show it but you know they they showed out shoes drop the bat that wasn't the case and the US Marines during my times just give you guys an idea of how it compares [Music] what's it uncle kids what is it and you about to trick in command well goal thing [ __ ] is it is it [ __ ] [ __ ] telling you ins [ __ ] bollocks they look at you know one thing I'll say about this drill instructor I'm gonna call them guy here in the green shirt you know you stir you saw the beginning of the video US Marine drill instructors that are just hard washboard hard dudes this guy looks a little Rollie pollie and that doesn't mean he's not you know iron marshmallow but I wouldn't be used to that you know looking at it comparatively to my experience in boot camp as well as what you see in some of the videos I've got here so take a look below I'll put some another brain core videos and that's how it is when you're there so let's keep going how much really looking cool are you [ __ ] just just [ __ ] in a [ __ ] low well if you got a boy we go hi good boy many of the recruits like 33 year-old Colleen Bell have left family behind to come let me start off right there 33 okay I think the age limits 27 or 28 in the US Marine Corps I believe there was a guy one of my videos before said he got a waiver and he was 30 33 b way outside the norm he just wouldn't your body's not made for that kind of abuse at 33 it's their their standard of age is it a little bit higher that's that's a difference for sure can you call them David after Miranda he was something of a so one that they something along those lines maybe my son could do something along these lines later on [Music] uh-huh and punch whoa [Music] apparently they got cell phones at boot camp yeah yeah that's doesn't happen but this seems more like a training after boot camp does boot camp because eight weekends off they have cell phones or bringing their own stuff you see these racks right here totally on Sat kind of a disaster in my opinion doesn't mean they're not good guys just different loom of Mudd Club so the new boots of stumblin this guy seems pretty legit here we go that nice how about you giving me the right way my outfit okay [ __ ] my chicken I mean look at those racks are terrible [Music] by coming I'm just like this [ __ ] so I design me one thing you'll notice is when they were marching right they're marching arms swinging a lot that her hands are open set it closed that's just different than the US Marine Corps boot camp so you know if you look at this you are marine or you're a Royal Marine there's a big difference that way but doesn't mean we don't get the same job done just a little nuances that are interesting let's keep going to my clock notes so here's what I'm gonna tell you the only notes you need to buy on Boeing final slide in between the parts of the lecture has got a little designated periods where we actually have little question answer sessions German there's only one stupid question in this world okay and that's the question which does not get asked okay you must be stupid question now everybody giggles you look like a tip two minutes it's over if you don't ask a stupid question and you do a stupid thing yeah that was a pretty good thing to say honestly there's like dumb questions you all get picked on for dumb questions just grass a dumb question do the dumb thing right somebody usually ask the dumb questions you have to worry about it typically it's the beginning of me too did you pop only five days until they watch out what's good if they pass their final inspection [Music] that Saturday you know did you see that Coke machine in the background looks like you can buy a soda you know this big massive plate of food you know there's a lot more just on its face now looking at this video compared to my experience of boot camp and other devil dogs out there attention to detail for example the racks the you know the discipline you know they're sitting there chow hunched over not just is different than the Marine Corps boot camp so you're looking at this that's a big difference again doesn't mean they can't get the same mission accomplished but in training the discipline I'll see it remotely the same [Music] job clapping as I'll see how much when we go to bed that's all I want to do my huh once my never bad you definitely do miss females I do think the way they do pull-ups makes a lot of sense so you know traditional pull-up bars a pipe and you're pulling up on it this makes more sense you know you're pulling up on like a law kind of thing the whole point of these pull-ups and exercise you can get your body over an obstacle and the obstacles are never going to be perfect to fit your hand I like that you probably get some good grip strength out of it it makes sense you know you're going over obstacles in real life they're never gonna be perfect to get your hands around so that's probably some pretty good training they're what makes the weekends how even law and going like I mention there get weekends off you know weekends off right and then he said go to cheat the females so again they say it's 30 weeks but what's happening here is our bootcamp they're probably put an SOI and they're empty training and maybe you know some kind of MLS school tie it all together and call in 30 weeks which is comparable to Marine Corps you know boot camp ministry training whatever else you go to but at boot camp for the 13 a half weeks you're not getting weekends off or you know ladies on the weekends kind of thing that's a big difference van Rijn tweet has been discharged sooner than he anticipated all of the cleaning like you just saw those guys with his mops parents Islander San Diego it's going to be a supervisor Dee eyes are far they're gonna make cleaning and you an exercise you screw up you can't follow directions you're gonna clean online right so you're gonna clean every gonna be online with a scrub brush your new everything informations and there's a remenant method behind the madness and it's not that it makes a difference how something's clean it's me they tell you to do one way there to make sure you do it it's all those little things will make you figure it out downstream that's important here we go going I guess the rifle range [Music] and help turn my she might want you got people you couldn't understand you know it's not you know you playstation in the world playing video games this is for real this thing you know people will die you know the way they're holding us weapons is totally not going whatever work in this place cuz you must have the knows little pitchers in the careers office further need to know deep down what sort of belt yes a 1882 or the l85a2 yeah the way they're holding the weapons is formation like that you know you get totally you're sweeping people you can see that the weapons muzzles hitting all sorts of people on their back and that's just not gonna fly now maybe weird timing of the video when they call them but that just would never happen I don't care if you're out of boot camp and in the fleet or in that in the army somewhere you're sweeping people with your muzzle no one's gonna be happy about that so that's definitely something that just shows lack of discipline I'm not sense these guys but that's what I'm seeing here the video that's all I can work from system will become a part of you it's almost like a prosthetic limb and you need to be capable more than capable of being able to use it and be accurate with it because if you are yourself and it would be a deadly weapon understood the last thing you want to be doing is call out that they're killed because you didn't know how to use them and boys tired huh I can't wait attention just stop firing these guns that you come up what so rightful so yeah I get told off we've got a good port arms I don't know what kind of port arms that is talking out who comes towards the rear depress the whole note in device to push it down alright go that far [Music] Pelham was interested in guns at all he was just interested in like on building things and making yeah I know mom wants to see their kid be a you know trained killer like these guys are supposed to be get trained for some of the best guy you find are gonna be these ones that you know we're playing with LEGOs like she said or playing video games she could be outstanding who knows if thing is able to talk because you lose the tips of your fingers right Tigers that way thumb over the top of it push it down now forward assist no hand goes over the top and then just karate chop the back of it I'm happy this weapon system will save your life it could potentially save the folks next to you right you need to work hard on your weapon drills okay yesterday's quiz you can then strap the top this guy here you know this guy here can't make up this little hill all right find a hill looks like a tiny embankment the drain I don't even know what you do with him just drop his you know rear end right the second I bought worthless mostly to upgrade to the new main and that's embarrassing I'm not sure they're trying to embarrass these guys or what I mean look at this tonight is the first time the recruits will practice moving from wet to dry kids you don't like water this guy not a big fan apparently I know they speak English I have no idea what they're saying [Music] the recruits returned from their night in the field and was now clean thing you'll notice is all their helmets whatever reason and all of the chin strap and the strap on tight every one of them look like they're in a John Wayne movie you know it's it's funny that littles kind of stuff like attention to detail you know getting your helmet squirt away get his snug on your chin didn't it you know squirt top to bottom and side to side you know I feel like I'm watching the st. you know you will GMM label GMO John Wayne from a 50s movie just so fully bizarre Johnny old and can't it has to be perfect if they're to pass their final inspection this over 50 of us all trying to clean all our kitten small space huge this guy seems like a total slacker and complaining complaining the whole time I don't know what to do with that one yeah [Music] he does not want to be there it's doing the fun show that you see on the advert you know that's a good point where he just said all the fun stuff you see on adverts right so whether it's the US Marine Corps Navy SEALs that's a good one whatever it is you watch this stuff right on the advertisement trying to get you to sign up they're not going to show you cleaning the squad bag clean your rifles at 2:00 in the morning and you know humping it somewhere on some exercise for no reason the brass thought would be fun they're not going to show you that that's part of it your readiness and you know you never know and these guys aren't complaining they haven't even served a day at deployed in combat under duress so you know maybe they shouldn't be there that's the reality something like uh like to know [Music] what they either whack somebody that stick good salt it's not to dress yourself oh dear I need to dress you put your clothes on for you and you'll be Chinese oh man are you gonna be [ __ ] me a walk no I can tell you that that yawning and kind of lackadaisical stuff during inspection it's not gonna happen I don't care what boot camp you're in in the US military that I've ever heard of you know you're tired I get it it's not you know usually there's more than one expecting you know drill instructor in this case and you're saying that attention pet you know paying attention not nodding off yawning you're still in training they break you down in two seconds in the real Marine Corps in the US Marine Corps and I put up with this I really think you know this is a British program it just seems hard to believe this is legit well guys that met have been squared away it's [ __ ] bumping what like this di seems squared away on the floor sorry laws you know my real question is if you take that stick right there and whack one of them cuz they act like they're you know children I don't know what the answer is the some of them need some extra PT or something they just want to be there there's ah there's some ones of us so much for this there's this say I'm singing off stand to attention face your front yeah while the [ __ ] is on the suck just that's [ __ ] dust did I'm okay you brush him up beyond your beds dude oh no it's acceptable no reasons what about that fuss this is this gateway do you like a big deal no unbelievable so unbelievable [ __ ] is up there are your name nice mother's name do you like muddy stuff no we don't these guys guys are white one Freedman I'll ] dancing I could tell you that this guy here you know with his laugh and the tall guy that just would never fly that cell place would be destroyed that happened uh-huh you know place your front early you sure he wasn't pleased results videos coefficient from Ben unbelievable what's the fine that's worth and he go gonna [ __ ] austere do you want it off being looks like you cannot be trusted this doesn't even do my back you love me he doesn't even do proper push-up so he's gonna go sit there you know smoke and joke behind this guy's back whatever okay fine don't get caught then if you're gonna do it push in other words get your chest to the ground and push up keep your back straight come on now that's just kind of it's hard for you to believe this is legitimate no but that's why you have me this [ __ ] cuz you can't even trust and you're not even self discipline and to do your work totally great with this guy it's people pretty weak get recruits kinda that's [ __ ] dog [ __ ] sorry God failed me for this and I like this corporal he's now know what else he got these recruits are terrible from the looks of it I'm no proud to axle they were probably the worst about to deal with and that was an embarrassment for me and for them I've never had the troopers been like so crap that was the worse inspection I've ever seen all of you felt well you know I'm not saying this for effect he just said it I mean I imagine being in charge of these guys they're a bunch of you know think it's funny and he's probably seeing that time in Afghanistan you know served with allies and he's legit guy you've got these people that are sitting there complaining they're not you know jumping out of planes and day 20 disappointing lies an utter failure it's what we're gonna do tonight that we're gonna recover most of the stuff once more and we're gonna clean this space immaculate but you know you have been quicker than I feel some Spanish and just chill you [ __ ] beans for working out this morning okay that's not gonna work like this and that happens not in boot camp as much I mean you will claim the squad day there is no excuse but you get out in that fleet let's say you're in an infantry not even the fleet in training they come and do an inspection of the barracks and you fail guess what your weekends cleaning the barracks I don't care if you're out of SOI and you're in the fleet and you can't clean the barracks or your room with a couple guys guess what your weekend will be cleaning it more inspection that's legitimate I mean a boot camp there's just no excuse cuz your old job is this right here you're not you know doing other stuff so I don't get it but keep on watching it again we're gonna do it they don't mention that before I know so why are you not listening to me cuz I'm French so I think people do not like to be told what to do by a French person now he's French yeah he not tell a [ __ ] mess so [ __ ] on the left always trashes no stress Oh what I was into all a further everyone was obviously cuts it just up Philippe this apart you know and this is why the Marine Corps is the youngest service and the Royal Marines is probably no different it's young man's game this guy's complaining his tire hasn't slept in you know last 48 hours that's the nature of this business if you're in the Marine Corps or whatever you are you're an infantry fast movers you're training for it that's part of life you had your training for it so you know you're gonna eat you know you're gonna sleep this isn't something where you're sitting there in deployment in Afghanistan you know we'll get picked up so these guys are already complaining so this is part of the training is learning how to deal with sleep deprivation whatever and these guys think it's funny which is kind of a shame and I don't know it just cuz they have the forum to discuss it or what because of my experience these Royal Marines have been outstanding let's keep going there you go to Drew Boss house it's a fault you've done a really good tough [Music] the troupe have their weekend taken away and they're made to clean the block from top tips on how they sweep in my IRA know at the same time it's bizarro as a punishment not to take the weekend off they could have chilled Friday evening and I also took their Saturday afternoon off and instead they did another inspection yeah it's got a graduation I cut this thing up because it got really boring listen but you know you see the way they march right their way they do business you know you'll experience if you go in this you know the US military you'll get to train with guys over time whether it be British Israeli South Koreans Thai whatever you'll learn a lot and what you find is the training will be different you'll joke about it when you with some of the guys but you know you're all on the same mission same missions said get the job done and look below I got some good video links making my hand write to the other stuff
