of a 57 pale long striking blackhaired woman entering this holiday end interesting detective are you okay 5 years excuse me five goddamn years I've been onon this case of the p riter and no [ __ ] leads just missing [ __ ] bodies been on this case since I've been a 911 operator since my daughter called and I when I heard of being murdered and now I'm a detective and I still can't solve this case there's got to be a way there's got to be some other way well detective remember that closed case from 5 years ago those two male College friends Jamie fentz and Lis Rosario yeah it sounds familiar what what about them well 10 years ago they were checking into the same room we're standing in today according to them they claimed they saw a woman going on about dreams speaking in tongues for questioning he claim he didn't do it said a woman known as a pil Rider murdered his friend she was psyched out made it seem like it was him the jury didn't believe him and he was send 10 years to life in a mental facility and where can I find this Lewis now my memory serves me right he's in a Pilgrim Psychiatric Center Upstate New York he doesn't want to remember the murder he thinks Jam's detective Cortez Mr the Winston yes uh good evening detective uh how may I help you I'm here to get a little history and background at this hotel if you have time it's very important uh okay but what is this in regards to it's about room 702 it would only take a few minutes well uh back in the early 1940s there was a couple named Sammy and John Gunther uh they own this hotel and as The Story Goes it was in the summer of July 1942 Sammy was working a double shift at the hotel and her husband John was not an easy partner to deal with he was known to be argumentative manipulative and even downright cruel to his wife a woman comes to check into the hotel for an overnight stay and while Sammy is checking her in she notices John eyeing the woman unbeknownst to her she brushed it off but she knew something wasn't right later she decided to leave the front of the hotel occupied as she became curious to find John's whereabouts she decided to head to the seventh floor and proceeded to be drawn to room 702 she noticed Whispers and laughter coming from in the room and she quietly walked closer and closer and closer until she stopped right in front of the door she proceeded to storm into the room and found John and the woman fondling each other romantically it drew Sammy too instantly and she pulled out a knife from her leg side and charged between John and the mistress so then the people in the hotel heard all the commotion and then they came down and saw both owners dead in room 702 is this the same room that people have been claiming to see this woman yeah we've had to keep it closed off from future guests because she continues to haunt it to this day Sammy known as The Pale Rider continues to stay refuses to leave because she's still in mourning Mr Winston I want to rent this room room oh but detective I don't think that's a very good idea the room has been closed off for years put it on my tab I'll pay you but detective it's not safe trust me I'll be okay I I
