That season was nuts. We played the undefeated Eagles and the undefeated Patriots in back-to-back weeks, and killed them both in the middle of a 16 game win streak. I believe this was the year Hines Ward flapped his wings like an an Eagle at the Vet, too.

Fun(?) fact - this game was the first weekend after GTA San Andreas came out so I stopped playing to watch the game and rage quit when the Patriots were getting stomped, then went back to GTA and rage quit when I couldn't follow the damn train.

Ben was 22 and Brady was 27. For reference Patrick Mahomes is 25 currently. Lamar Jackson is 24.

Two of the more complete teams of the entire era. One of my favorite wins was the Pats blowing them out a few months later.

I think if they win this one they go 19-0 this year, but had too much working against them with sudden injuries. If memory serves, Dillon was out, Branch was out, both starting cornerbacks Law and Poole were lost for the year, and Seymour was injured during the game.

But losing this made the afccg that much sweeter.
