stitch that together to try to write that story there's four or five moments here in the last minute of the game that you just shake your head you can't believe it the Bengals Marvin Lewis this game From 2011-2015, Bengals were 52-27-1 in the regular season. They've been 21-42-1 since that game.

Watching live, I kind of wasn't immediately paying attention at 3:12 and, aided by Nantz's commentary, didn't realize Burfict was down when he ran all the way to the other end zone in celebration. Seeing the replay and confirming he was down was probably my greatest disappointment as a sports fan.

Fuck this game. People don’t realize how critical this game was long term to the fanbase. If we win, we finally get over the hump against our biggest rival and having Dalton return the following week.

Not only the fact that we lost, but the way we lost, really fucked up the fanbase. Attendance hasn’t been the same since, fans have been incredibly apathetic since then. Doesn’t help that we didn’t cut any of the players that deserved to be cut after the game, and let key players go like Sanu, Jones, Whitworth, Reggie Nelson, there could be more that I’m missing. On top of that we Haven’t had a winning season since...

I don’t ever remember being so heartbroken after a sporting event, i literally cried myself to sleep and didn’t go to school the next day to avoid harassment from my friends. (I live in Browns/Steelers territory). What a fucking mess, if I would have known that the aftermath of that game would have been what it was then I probably woulda cried harder.
