Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41mm - I Got The AD Call

welcome to watches and dreams today we're going to be looking at a Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41 millimeter black dial this is another exciting moment for me I got the ad cool last week to come in and pick up this voice of Perpetual that I have been on the waiting list for in fact the list must be getting shorter because I was only on the waiting list for this particular watch approximately three months I believe four months tops so I do have previous event history in that ad I have bought the Rolex air King from there so maybe I was at the list a little bit but it does tell you that the waiting lists are coming down for Rolex watches however he said to me of course because I was like okay in my next watch I would like just again a standard Submariner no date and he said no you need to come back in October and perhaps we can put you on the waiting list for the submarinet generally because the demand is still very very high and we are closing our waiting list until it comes down a bit so that's what he said I don't know the truth in that but I would imagine that was the truth because I bought two watches from there he was very nice he gave me a Rolex Swiss army knife as well as a separate gift which was nice so clearly they value my custom so for those who are wondering it seems that the Rolex Market is not cooling off at all just maybe the prices on the gray markets but I digress let's get back to this Rolex 41 mil when I picked up this watch it's the first time I've seen it in person I was just like wow this is the watch for me if you've seen my state of the collection video yours you'll notice on my personality is I'm not an extrovert I'm more of an introvert so my personality as far as watches ago are very introverted I would say is that even a word I don't know we'll go with it and I like black dials I like simple colors I like simple watches I don't really like the bling watches and then I saw this watch in the ad for the first time and I just said wow wow wow this is a watch for me and I loved it it just summed up my personality and what I want you know watch some people might call it boring but it's my watch it's my watch collection so of course I'm gonna buy what I want so and this just summed it up it's just a perfect watch for me and it's um entry-level Rolex so if you're gonna buy a Rolex and you are struggling to afford GMT Master II Daytona Submariner this at approximately I believe it's like six and a half seven thousand euros dollars about the same pounds slightly less these are good entry level for many people and although it's still a lot of money a lot more people can afford this than the canis Sky dweller for example so this takes a lot of boxes for a lot of people just the Simplicity of it is absolutely fantastic so let's have a quick look around this watch beautiful black dial no day very very simple the thickness of this case does not say on the Rolex website that I'm looking at it's not that thick at all I would imagine it's 11 or 12 mil at most and of course you have the classic oyster bracelet with the screwed links now I don't know if at 7.3 inches or 18.5 centimeters if my wrist is big but there is a one link out of this and I think I'm gonna have to put it back on which I'll show you now as we have a look at the bracelet here it's just a clip bracelet so it's a very simple Rolex bracelet which I actually like you can have the double Clips here I do like these single Clips are very simple and very the fishing but yeah he already took one link out of here and I might have to put it back in simply because it's right at the end here and when you see it on my wrist later it's actually quite tight I've actually got the extra five mil out today because it's a warm day have it there it's just too tight at the moment so I might put an extra loop back in and just put it back to this back Point here and hopefully that will fit me that's probably it but the bracelet seems quite small I don't think I have the biggest wrist I certainly don't have the smallest wrists in the world those of you who have six interests this would fit no problem but if you've got anywhere up to sorry 27 meter rest so you might actually have to order an extra link for this from what is standard so it's just something to bear in mind let's leave it at the adjusted five mil there most of you know by now that Rolex have this extra adjustment here if it's a hot day then just ping that out and just and you have the on the Fly adjustment which is excellent as with all Rolexes you have no see-through case back it's a fixed case back and you left a sticker on wow in the 80s now they take all the stickers off but you didn't take this sticker off so I'll do it here on camera you forgot that Mr A.D you are going to get sacked actually he said to me in the shotgun saying all the stickers off now you can't have the white sleeve on the box have to size it for you in shop orders giving down my Rolex to stop people selling it on the great market and the first impressions is you see the dial again just sat white indices on the black dials just fantastic and I really like the three six and nine positions happen to double indices to indicate those and you also have the crown at the top of that standing with Rolex with Perpetual written here and it's cost certified because it says their Swiss made so let's have a look at the operation of this watch very very simple it's a screw down Crown because with all Rolexes for those that screwed out so the first position is a wine so I'm gonna get a couple ones I wound it this morning and then very simply in the last position is to change the hour and minute hands so let's be positive as always let's leave it in a smiling position and then it's just a push down crown but if you have a look at the specs itself obviously it's a 41 mil dial I don't know the exact thing of this but I believe that's about 11 or 12 mil it's not thick at all you could wear this watch all occasions I would say certainly dress up dress down perhaps you couldn't wear it when you were playing badminton or squash or tennis or something it really is a one watch collection all-purpose watch so back to the specs 70 hour power reserve on this which is fantastic put this down on Friday night after work pick out Monday morning still showing the correct time don't need to wind it put it back on your rest the automatic will wind it for you as you walk around as so previously it's cost certified has a scratch resistance sapphire crystal waterproofness of a hundred meters so that's also very very good and the movement inside it is a Rolex three two three zero movement plus and minus two seconds per day Precision so great all-round watch and another thing to consider as well this service interval on this is 10 years so I say this watch lasts you 20 years this watch will probably outlive me to be honest it'll still be ticking long after I'm not ticking so there really are built to last these Rolex watches so as you can tell by my voice and my excitement I loved his watch so without further Ado let's have a look at this watch on the wrist and there she is guys the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41 mil black dial on my 7.3 inch or 18.5 centimeter wrist she is a beauty and as I said this is with the extra five mil is a hot day today it is June now but you can see I have to put it's actually linked back on and Fiddle around with it because if I get really hot this is going to be too tight for those of you who cannot afford the higher end Rolex watches and not many people can this entrance level is very very good quality watch it's a lot of watch for the money and I think it's excellent value for money so I have to Black dial as always I do have slight regressive thinkers probably should have gone for the silver dial to be honest just to mix our deflection we've got a very simple color again but I think this is a quality watch have a good day
