Rog Ally Z1E Skyrim SE With / Without Puredark FSR 3 Frame Generation Mod Performance | Setup Guide

welcome back guys in this video I'll be showing you how to install PX fsrc frame generation mod in Skyrim special edition running on my ra Ali I have the set one extreme variant of this device Windows 11 now it's a paid mod you need to subscribe to P patreon page in order to gain access to the Discord server where the mod files are present PX monthly subscription costs around $5 they have provided the installation instructions for the mod on their patreon page I'll leave it Link in the description of this video I'll quickly go through the instruction First Step install the mod as any other sksc plugin you can use either mod organizer 2 or Vortex I'll be using mod organizer 2 won't be covering it in too much detail we'll cover the part that is essential for the mod make the game Run in borderless instead of full screen mode see the important part below for how to do that okay I'll just scroll down and this is the important part if you're using SS display tox open it's ini file and set full screen equal to false and borderless upscale equal to false remember to remove the hash before them or they won't take effect I'm not using SS display Twix if you're not using it set B full screen equal to Z in Skyrim prep. infl we'll be doing this if you're using detection meter make sure it's at least version 0.17 third step check if you have dxgi.dll file in the game folder if so download the modified reshade and replace the dxgi.dll file this modified reshade file is available on P du Discord server enable VNC for Skyrim sc.exe in Nvidia control panel Rog Ali has an AMD based GPU so I'll be enabling VNC from adrenaline software launch the game and press end keyboard key in order to open the mods menu when you run the mod for the first time you'll be required to authenticate it after pressing the N keyboard key an authenticate button will pop up just click on it it will open a browser window make sure you sign in to your patreon page authenticator will ask for your permission click on allow then return to the game now you should be able to access the mod settings it's a onetime process I already shown it in my Elden ring puru FSR 3 mod video slight depth of field all the way to the left it's in the game's own settings in game settings turn off em Edge anti- lasing and depth of field I'm not using en if you play at high enough resolution you can still try to use en's depth of field but if you can't stand the G3 just turn it off set the FPS cap in the mod menu to half of our display refresh rate minus one alas display supports up to 120 HZ refresh rate so I'll just set this value to 59 this game's FPS is kept at 60 so after enabling frame generation FPS should get doubled close to 120 for example if you have a 144 HZ monter set the FPS cap to 71 or you can use enb's FPS limiter instead entirely upd now I'll be downloading the mod just head to pias Discord server there it is click on Skyrim beta access on the download section scroll down until you find Skyrim upscaler FSR 3 build 03 hotfix 1. click on the Blue Link in order to download it there's the modified reshade file as this mod uses FSR 3 it works on any GPU whether it's from Intel n Media or AMD it does not matter next just download the latest version of sksc current anniversary edition Bill 2.2.6 click on this Blue Link download 7z file next you need to download mod organizer 2 you can download it from NEX mods website need to have a free Nexus mods account in order to download any stuff from here just click on files click on manual download then you need to click on slow download last but not least we have address library for sksc plugins you can download it from Nex mods website just click on files here click on manual download under all in one address Library anniversary edition not special edition then click on slow download these are the files that I just downloaded required to run this mod before installing the mod I'll just run the vanilla version of the game we need to tweak a few settings first the borderless setting this is The Game's install directory I installed the game on allies internal SSD just open Skyrim folder here open Skyrim prep. folder using notepad any text editor just click on edit then click on find find type P full hit enter it will find this line of text P full screen make sure it set to zero be full screen equal to zero close it and just launch the game I have set the um buffer size to 5gb 4GB buffer size should be enough for this game my is running on B version 337 I installed the latest table GPU drive from AMD adaline version 24.31 options 720p resolution antell set to TA best quality I'll just send the game using the ultra preset Window mode B is checked ADV setting Ultra preset and that's it launch the game connected my gly kit kk3 Max game pad to Al Bluetooth mode using a 25 wats manual profile all three power value set at 25 wat CPU boost disabl 72 resolution okay after B overlay is not showing up so I'll just use adal l overlay there you go first I'll just tweak one setting in game settings display scroll down to the end make sure depth of field is set to nil and that's it I'll be exploring White Run game is running using direct 3d1 API lot of non-playable characters here here I'm using usage is around 2. 6 GB this game supports tons of mods and they are very demanding on the GPU this is where fs3 Fame generation will come into play special edition looks decent even without any frame generation technique performance is good on La leaving whitean show you some combat install the mod 60 FPS without frame generation first just extract the contents of sksc arive file double click copy this folder go back paste it here open the folder copy all of the files and folders here except for SRC folder open the games install directory just select the game in your same library right click manage browse local files and this is the games install directory paste the files here you can launch sksc by executing this sksc 64 loo file Next Step install mod organizer to execute its exe file I accept next install directory next make sure everything is checked here next next desktop shortcut optional install wait for the process to complete launch mod organizer checked should start now need to create an instance next I'll create a portable instance select Skyrim special edition select the platform steam have automatic archive and validation setting check next next you can connect your Nexus mods account optional finish tutorial again optional no do nothing yes sksc is detected automatically by mod organizer 2 now we need to install pure dark mod just click on this icon here install a new mod form and archive navigate to the directory where the mod files are present there's the mod Skyrim upscale FSR 3 build 03 hotfix one double click okay mod install check it now it's active active equal to 1 now just click on run click on unlock before that this message prom will pop up dll plugins you have installed require a new version of the address Library just click on yes it will take you to this website we have already downloaded the address Library file for anniversary edition so just click on this icon here and now you need to select allinone address Library file double click okay check it as well both mods have been loaded up gam and settings make sure vsync is enabled from here have enable free sync as well anti setting enable launch the game from Mod organizer make sure sksc is selected after installing the mod after one overlay work you can see the API here direct 3d2 open the mods menu by pressing the end keyboard key from this drop down bar you can select the upscaler this mod supports dlss xcss and Fs R 3 Ali has an emdb GPU so I'm using FSR 3 it's quality preset make sure enable frame generation and enable Hardwick settings are checked you can toggle frame generation on the Fly by pressing the star numpad key okay need to set the FPS cap from here set the value to 59 hit enter here you go close the menu by pressing the end keyboard key let's just play the game check out the input response oh the game is running so smoothly FPS is around 110 okay so when I move the camera in complete circles like this can observe some minor ghosting around my weapon not easy to observe FSR 3 frame generation comes with these graphical artifacts it's not related to the mod I'll just switch to a third person mode shouldn't be able to observe the graph iCal artifacts now it's a common Behavior easily observe the added amount of smoothness now in third person mode vram usage is around 3 GB lot of non-playable characters here now you can use your other demanding graphical mods in conjunction with FSR 3 frame generation mod looking for the way out FPS here drop down to around 90 still the game is running smoothly [Music] I'll show you some combat I arrived at the temple take out the bandits when here FPS is above 100 kill can there's the last Bandit they're dead I'll enter the temple we are in it's a dungeon not demanding on the hardware here FPS should stay around 118 for the most part you can see GPU lad drop down to around 70% C webs beautiful lighting going deep into the dine it's a very good experience playing this game on ra especially after using the FSR 3 Fame generation mod this game is an alltime classic it's not
