[Music] hello ladies and gentlemen and as always thank you for watching today it's early Friday morning we've been contacted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol we have a log truck overturned it's about an hour's drive away so I'm not going to record the whole trip it's pretty good distance out there but apparently usually it happens like this the logging company will have a piece of equipment or something there or the logs and load themselves apparently we don't have to worry about plugs but we have to get Love truck up it is partially blocking the roadway so I got to go it's early like I said waiting on some of our other guys to Guinea and I'm gonna go ahead and go on up I haven't heard about injuries so as always we ask for thoughts prayers good well ask for prayers thoughts well wishes for everybody involved I'm gonna get off here and focus on driving we'll see you on site ok ladies and gentlemen we're on the road that is supposed to be rolled over on I should be getting fairly close this is a curvy road with absolutely no solder so it was in the middle of the curve or something that barely dropped off the edge and could've very easily been cause for a rollover I don't know the cause that's just i'm giving possible causes anyway I do have to be extremely cautious to stay away from the edge we've had a lot of rain around is very very soft so if you drop the steer tire off and you can suck you down in the throat really quick all right we are here there it is you'll see what we got [Music] morning sir driver all right what I just got he got sent to st. Louis I just there's no word that he's stable cuz I don't know how bad he was good but he's hurt pretty bad but well at least stables better than the alternative yeah they seemed like they had their there boom truck already on the way but I thought we gonna beat you but then still logs on unfortunately okay couple I thought they're gonna Beach to get that last few off right yes sir so well I guess let's walk up here and see what's going on [Music] oh well they had to cut the cab off to get the driver out okay I always say you know we've talked in a more answer I'm not gonna say good I just said morning I hate hate started a like me yes sir it's not it's not a good way to start today all right they're pulling batteries that's excellent looks like there's just a few logs hold on that rear post is it everything else is off what it looks like I could probably drag the redirect and drag that trailer this way a little bit and get those logs out of the way even are you the owner no sir hello sir my name is Ron George nice to meet you sir sorry you're having such a terrible morning hope your driver makes it definitely say prayer yes sir by all means I appreciate that sir very smart thinking okay I've got another one of my guys coming so you said you've got a tractor for the trailer all right yep do you know if the trooper or anybody has some all-dry coming for the oil I should I've got some in the truck my other truck should have some but we're not gonna have enough I don't think okay all right how far out is your grapple truck go back I'm gonna say cuz what I could probably do I could probably grab a hold of one of these trees there's only one or two toppings that are touching the back post okay either that or I could redirect and grab the bottom of the trailer and slide it just a little bit and free those everything else looks like it's clear with posts you've made my job a whole lot easier really yeah Wow doggone it what you need sir brakes are not set so well this one is I just don't want it to roll off once we get get it rolled up okay all right I didn't check those that's where I was headed if they are locked up all right ah I don't know give me just a second here I was trying to see if my other truck would be able to get past here do what that truck won't because it's almost 73,000 pounds if it drops off its gonna yes sir I know I'm gonna dictate what they dictate way on it did no mochi drop ship didn't okay he flung down that day four thousand pounds Wow there's no in a bit right this oh okay well the other trucks good it's got eight wheel drive in the back full lockers so it'll probably make yep sir do you know who owns this property is this state property or just it long to them or do you know sir I'd say probably to that tree line is the state fence row okay fine I didn't think either over the question I have is the the trees whether I could use them to redirect off of since we've got such limited space okay and I guess he's getting MoDOT for some oil holder i okay good deal all right got a trooper here oh that's why I asked who the property owner was that that's one option that I'm looking at right now since we've got such a narrow narrow space I did the wrote the rotators here but even with the rotator you don't have room that truck back down on yourself without going all the way around I really don't want to go all the way around I guess what I could do though I could pick the truck up bring it over a little bit it darn sure and gun hearted it's yeah we we've been running pretty I'm gonna get my other truck when it gets here I'm gonna have it go that way I'm gonna run it off on this side [Music] yeah I don't think it'll take much to turn it back oh no it really won't once once you get all the logs off of it it won't think much turn it over sure won't well they said he's stable what the trooper just said he said yeah oh no sir no they went through the cab yeah they was all he would see linear all right that was that was one of my concerns was securing it to tow it back as I said they want it towed back to Marquand all right I'm gonna get myself turned around I'm gonna get myself turned around up here on this road yeah I'm get turned around there if I can't I don't need to be driving that truck none of those trees don't look very stout yeah that one there's dead oh I got I got plenty of cable I just I was wanting something to redirect so I can get to this tractor my other truck will come through here and we'll get him on the back end it won't take I don't think it'll take much we just need to get the right angle on it I may be able to go around both of these well that one kind of branches off I don't that one would work pretty good ways out there between it okay I appreciate pretty decent angle like that this is solid shoulder all right it's good solid rocky shoulder I need you angled about the same way you are now but I need the back of your truck the winch is about here all right William I need the back of the truck somewhere about here because what we're going to do is we're going to redirect Lo and grab a hold of the drives to help pull it over okay I've got a line to the big tree out there I'm gonna back up I'll get the farming to move and I'm going to grab the tractor on two spots and then I'm also going to grab a hold the tractor to lower it down so it doesn't slam on us what I need you two to do for now is get this truck positioned over here know as long as you keep the drives that phone's solid you're good jump drop that front hand off though you ain't gonna hurt that truck that truck designed for this off-road stuff it's fine and as long as you keep the lock of the drives on the pavement you're good just knows it all try not to damage anything obviously but get to back in about here because we're gonna redirect low off your outriggers up to the tires okay everybody understand the plan I understand okay and then once you guys get set up I'll need help running my rigging up here okay I'm working on it but it by myself it takes a little bit this gentleman's been nice enough here to do a lot for us already all right does this truck need to be close to the scene okay I need my truck right here if I could if I could get this truck to back up for a little bit at least until I get into position and then you can bring it back in that's fine but and at least until I get in would y'all mind moving it please we don't need the clothes unless you set it on fire don't need what we don't need it closer to home set it on fire uh-huh you don't wants it on fire he doesn't got the batteries out yeah hey hey this gentleman here has done this before he knows how to get this done getting in batteries out the big thing that was a yeah you don't need it at quite such an angle quite such an angle I'd come back I want you to truck your nose down off there but your bumpers almost into those rocks over there I wanted you about the take a lot but you've got to have room to get yourself out of here and you you might be okay where you're at but you got to be able to back up and drive forward and I don't think you're gonna have got here's my plan I've got two straps on the steer and there's white one I'm gonna stretch out and I'll catch it so it doesn't slam I know it's already tore up but we still want to try to we don't like just let them slam down we might go south to places bringing yeah yeah and it don't take just an extra second to rig that up today to do it right okay good to go this won't be quite so easy but asked about this one with the cut off this is why you have that cut off oh because there's some where the bumpers are spaced off and the tip runs into the bumper that's exactly what this one is for you asked oh I thought I'd show you cool yeah I should left that out there because we're gonna pull this thing out from under the trailer so they can get a truck hooked up yep not a problem I'm coming good job buddy you did good you catch it we're detaching the trailer they've got a tractor for it and then you guys are gonna grab the tractor and take it to their place and I'm gonna head on back okay they're gonna pay you whenever you get there okay I'll have to say you're up the bill and we'll just go from there hold on we got to keep tension on it okay the wind to pull itself in we just got to keep little tension on it probably have to reach pull it when we get back to the shop that's no big deal Tom knows that dude don't all right Tom get that trailer ready to DA lay down oh you you got it okay good deal drivers in stable conditions all I know do not know any more than that about 35 feet left its spooling pretty good but we'll still have to refill it after a long wind like that [Music] trooper brought us some water I don't know if he if the fire department provided it he provided or whatever but there's three bottles water up there force oh yeah and I hope that driver makes it as a bad bad situation [Music] [Music] I've had to think up a deal there on trying to get over the back of it oh they're gonna grab it they're already in position we'll just I'll pull it up here out of the way and you can bring your truck around and then they're already in position and headed right direction so that was my plan anyway that work for you because you've worked hard didn't had a I was thing back getting that pressure that's all the thing about yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I think your truck can probably come by here Kenny if not I can grab the trailer with my truck and move it once we get this up out of the way that won't be and if we need to I can always hook it to the to it with the under reach and grab it and just drag it yeah instead of trying to steer it yeah I'm at four now just to get it unhooked that's all I meant skitters and forklifts and I get it I know the name I'm pretty sure that we've worked on his stuff before I live alignments and stuff maybe maybe here you need bottle water yes sir William there take this to you and Tom I've got some water in here huh I've got some I always bring stuff I think I'm gonna do this a little bit different okay wait I need another look and another strap even though this is the wrong one and I know it is that's alright by the way this was really nice having all this organized makes it a little easier don't need it by me or not because that drops off a lot further I may have to have this other truck moved so I can get a little more into the end of this Lane he might be able to squeeze by but I don't know well sir thanks sir thank you do you know you know who owns the red firetruck sir I was just gonna try to get this truck over in that Lane as much as possible so that that semi could make it through with that trailer they've got liability only that's what the gentleman told me oh yes sir the gentleman that's been helping me he's been really really nice but the gentleman that's been helping me told me that he had liability only and that we were supposed to take it back to their place and we'd they would pay us today because they didn't have full coverage well they get state property damage to to the road because of the edge of the road broke off then they'll have to pay MODOK for the cleanup and stuffs liability will cover that stuff though the red red red firetruck would you care to pull forward just a little bit please Oh yes sir the one the one in front of mine yes sir I just want to I just want to get that semi off into that Lane as much as possible so that this one can get bias there's a truck truck riding okay it's yours I think the emergency lights on yes sir yes sir right front in front of the troopers car I just want to get that back to that semi over a little bit so that this one can bring that truck and trailer through here and we can get that one lane cleared thanks sir alright guys once he moves I'm gonna pull up and then you can back up after that semi gets clear and start hooking to the back of this for a rear tow because it's going that way anyway [Applause] Oh somebody's gonna make it by anyway gentlemen air is a good hand I'm here to tell you all right straighten the wheels for I set it down that way they're easier to lock that step there Oh No yeah oh that's not good at all then it's gonna have to be front toed and have to pull the driveshaft chute yeah there's really no good way to solidify it okay I pull the shaft and rut the road yeah do it yeah well you just have to I guess have Tom change plans the we can't secure the steering to tow it from the back because it's columns loose so we're gonna have we're gonna have to grab it from the front what you still toe it but we're going to grab it from the front we'll get the driveshaft out let's say here look the that's fine well we're gonna do that we're gonna do it we've got we've got caging bolts and stuff and we've got okay can't ask making this wheel strand yeah because we'll pull we'll pull the shaft and everything I wish we could pull it from the back that's how I'd rather pull it because he's already headed that direction but if you look dead young columns pulled right out all right yes sir ball mates that's why we're clearing this Lane out trying to get them get them through [Music] whoa [Applause] unfortunately yes because the steering is shot there's no the steering for prayers good thoughts well wishes for the driver last we heard he was in a stable condition we've got the worst part of it done it's upright and off the roadway or clear of the roadway there's
