-Robert, always nice to see you. How you been, buddy?
-Oh, I'm great, thanks. I'm so happy to be back.
It's awesome. -We love having you back.
-Thank you so much. -Now, you had
a really cool thing. Last week, you got to honor
your dad, Steve Irwin. He got a star on the
Hollywood Walk of Fame. Look at that.
-Yeah, exactly. -That's you...
-Thank you, yeah. -...and your mom, Terry,
and that's Bindi. -Yeah, it was such
an amazing honor. A really, true honor for us, because he's one of
the only conservationists honored on the Walk of Fame. So it's great
to continue his message and really keep his dream alive. So it was a real honor.
-Yeah, I agree. We love your dad.
-Thanks. -And we love you.
Where is this? What corner? -It's right on the corner
of Hollywood and Vine. It's actually right next
to Johnny Cash's star. -You're kidding me. -That was my dad's
favorite artist. -You're kidding me.
-Yeah. -It's right next to Johnny Cash?
-Yeah. It's really special. You know, whenever
we'd go camping, Dad would sit by the fire
and sing Johnny Cash. That was his thing.
So it's really, really special. It's wonderful.
-That's a cool thing, right? Isn't that awesome?
-Yeah, yeah. It's great. -Good for you, man.
-Really good. -You're doing a special gala,
is it this weekend, now? -Yeah. Yeah. Exactly.
-In Los Angeles? -Yeah, yeah.
So, it's a big celebration, celebrating everything
that dad loved, and raising funds for
our nonprofit organization, which takes care of animals
all over the world. And there are still
tickets available. You can go to
Steveirwingaladinner.org. and, yeah, you can come with us. -If you are in the L.A. area,
go to that. And will you get
to see animals there? -Yeah, there'll be
heaps of animals. It will be so fun. -If you want to see heaps
of animals, go there. -Yeah. [ Chuckles ] -What did you bring
for us today? Is anything going to scare me?
-Well, probably. -Okay. Okay.
-It will be fun. Okay. So, first up -- We are going to come
around to the front. We are gonna get right into it.
-You want me get in front? -Yep. Now, I've got some bottles
for you to feed these animals. -All right.
Oh, I don't mind a baby bottle. That usually means
something's cute. -All right.
So, we'll grab these bottles and then we're gonna
kneel right down here. We're going to sit down. And it's going to get
a bit chaotic. There's a lot of them.
So be prepared. -So where do I run in case
of an emergency or something? I'm going to go there.
-The exits are here, here... What is it?
-All right. Here we go.
Come on, guys! They're African pygmy goats. -Oh, my God!
-Hey, guys. -Hi, guys!
-There's more. -[ Chuckles ]
-Oh, my gosh. -Hey, guys.
-Ooh! Oh, geez. Hi, guys. Take your time.
I got enough for everybody. -Look at them!
-I have enough for everybody. Oh, there's more coming out!
How many goats are here? -It's like a clown car.
-How many goats are here?! Stop!
-There's six of them. -So six goats. Oh, my...
These are African Pygmy goats? -African Pygmy goats, and they're named after
the cast of "Friends." So we've Monica, and Rachel, and Phoebe.
-That one bit me. -They're a bit feisty,
aren't they? -Wait, they're named after
the cast of "Friends"? -Yeah, yeah.
So we've got all the cast. They love their milk.
-Stray goat. Stray goat. -Uh-oh, and they --
-Stray goat. Come here, buddy. Hey, guys.
-They're really social. They're -- They lo--
[ Laughter ] -Hi, guys.
-It's all right. Stay in the area.
Stay in the ar-- Oh, yeah!
-Aren't they awesome? -How tall will they grow to be? -They'll only be
about knee height. They're great climbers.
They're really social. They're quite
fascinating animals. I love them.
-Are these like yoga goats? Have you heard of them?
-Yeah, like yoga goats. -All right.
He's going after you now. All right, someone get --
Yeah, we have to get security. Yeah, they're gonna get them.
You're good. -Thanks, guys.
Aw, aren't they gorgeous? -I'd love to have one.
[ Laughter ] Do they make good pets,
have these as a pet or no? -Well, yeah maybe. They actually
produced for milk in Africa. Yeah, so they're
really, really sweet. -They're so cute.
-There we go. They love their milk,
don't they? -Hi, buddy.
-Hey, guys. What do you think --
There he goes. -Thank you guys, so much.
Bye, guys. -Look at him go, bye.
See you later, little goats. -What else did you bring us?
Bye, goats. -They are awesome.
So, how cute are they? [ Cheers and applause ]
I love that. -There we go. So next, next -- We're going to stay here. Next up, we've got
a special one. It's a very iconic,
Australian animal. They're one of my favorites. This is Cookie.
So come on out, Cookie. -This is exactly -- Cookie?
This is an attack. -Cookie is actually pretty cute. So this is a kookaburra.
Isn't she amazing? [ Laughter ]
-Whoops. That means she likes you.
-Yeah. -Make sure the goats
don't come out. Make sure the goats
don't come out. They'll lick it up, yeah.
That is not milk. Thank you so much, Cookie.
-Well, Cookie -- The kookaburra -- These are kind of my alarm clock
back at home in Australia. -Yeah, watch your hand.
-Yeah. They make these
really loud calls. And it kind of sounds like --
You know the rapper Cardi B? You know how she goes,
"brr!"? like that? -Yeah, of course.
-That's what they sound like. So, what we're going to do is,
we're going to make that sound and they'll mimic it
and start -- They'll start calling. Do you want to do that?
-Sure. -Ready? So I'll start you off.
Then you join in. Ready? [ Trilling ] [ Continues trilling ]
Give it a go. [ Trilling ]
-[ Trills sharply ] -Yeah?
[ Laughter ] Oh [ Trills sharply ]
-[ Trilling ] -[ Trills sharply ] [ Laughter ] -He's very confused. -[ Trills sharply ]
-[ Laughs ] [ Laughter ] -He's staring at me,
staring at us. -He's like, "Really?"
You know, um... -She's like --
Angry face. -You know, this one doesn't
actually call. I just wanted you to get
to do the noise. -Oh, thank you.
I appreciate that, yeah. -But, usually they do call. But they're very loud
in the morning. They're really, really cool. So you can see those beautiful,
blue kind of colorations, and they're predators. They'll actually--
Everything is based on movement. So any little animal
they see that's moving, they're right on it,
and they attack. It's amazing. So, don't make sudden
movements. [ Chuckles ] -[ Strained ] Thank you
for telling me now. -[ Chuckles ]
-She's staring at you now. Yeah, I'm off the hook.
-All right. Thank, Cookie.
-Thank you so much. "Cookie" -- What a great name.
[ Cheers and applause ] Careful. -Yeah, let's wa-- -All right.
What else do you have -- Oh, no. This looks big. -Do you like rodents?
-Do I like rodents? -Do you like rodents?
-No! I don't like rodents. -We've got the biggest rodent
in the world right here. So we've got a 100-pound rodent
that's gonna come out. So I'm gonna give you some corn, and you're going to feed
this 100-pound rodent. It's amazing! Are you ready? So... -What is this called?
-We're going to come down here. This is a capybara.
All right. And his name is Javier. He's got a good name. Hey, Javier.
-Javier -- Oh, my... -There you go, mate.
This is a capybara. -...goodness.
-Look at the size of him. Isn't he amazing?! Hey, come on down. -Yeah, I don't know.
I'm kind of I'm good. -He's got huge teeth,
massive teeth. They never stop growing. So these massive teeth
and that's -- They actually --
They eat grass. They can go through
8 pounds of grass a day. Isn't that wild? Yeah.
-Wow! -They're beautiful, big body.
Those really weird feet. Yeah, you can come
right in there. Just don't get bitten.
It'll hurt. -So as long as y--
-This is like -- I saw something like this
in my apartment -- I seriously did --
the other day. Look it's got giant--
-Look at that. -And what is it called again?
-A capybara. They're from the Amazon,
you know, in South America. They're really interesting. Now, once they get
to this big size the only predators
that they have are jaguars. That's the only thing that
would touch one of these guys. They're really big and tough.
Those big teeth -- Look at him --
He's loving that corn. He loves it.
-What's going on with the -- Aah! What's going on with
the end of his nose there? -Yeah, its got a really
big nose. Kind of a weird-shaped head.
[ Audience "awws" ] He's cool, isn't he?
He's quite cute. -Is it, like --
Is it wet up there, or what is that?
-well, yeah. So, this just here,
that's actually a scent gland. So it's got this, like,
oily secretion that they make. And, yeah, Isn't that wild?
You can touch it if you want. -No, thanks.
-It's kind of weird. It's got a really
distinct smell. -And those feet --
They wade in the water. They really love the water. -This is an amazing thing.
-Yeah. They're very unusual,
aren't they? Capybara. -Capybara.
Thank you for bringing this in. -Yeah. Thanks, Javier.
Thank you. Bye. [ Cheers and applause ] So, you can --
-Yep. I am going to drop that.
-You can set that corn down. -Bye, Javier.
Thank you, Javier. -He's gonna go back to his mom. -Okay.
-Gotta head back. Now...
-All right! So for this one,
let's head down to the stage. We've got a big one coming up. So...
-Okay. [ Audience cheers ]
-All right! So for this one, this is Curly. Now, this next animal, my dad called them
"frogs with sharp teeth." You know, that what they are. They're really cute. They -- Seriously.
You'll love them. What I'm going to do is,
I'm gonna get two of The Roots to come down to help me out. [ Laughter, applause ] Really... It's very cute. They're like, "no." -They're not even thinking
about it. No, they won't. They're not even thinking
about it. No. -Well, okay.
I've got my family. I've got my mum
and my sister, Bindi. They always travel with me.
-Yeah. -So, let's get them on.
Come on out, guys. [ Cheers and applause ] Hi, Terri! Nice to see you! -So good to see you. -How are you?
-So good to see you. -Guys! There they are,
the family. [ Cheers and applause ] Ah, great! Thank you for coming on. I appreciate it.
-Thank you. Thank you. -Are you ready for Curly?
-Ah, Curly. Okay. -[ Chuckles ]
He's so cute. I love him.
-Frogs with teeth. Okay, here we go.
-Come on out, curly. Let's see Curly.
-[ Chuckles ] -I want to see him.
-This is Curly. [ Audience gasps ]
He's an American alligator. Have a look at the size of him.
-Holy mack-- -Are you ready?
-There you go. You can grab him. -What do I do? What do I do?
-Yeah, just hold him there. Now, he will maybe
squirm a little bit. But once they calm down,
they're really nice, very cool. And you can see, they do
sort of look like a frog. They're really cute,
but in those jaws, they've got a lot of really
high jaw pressure. And they'll clamp down.
They won't let go. It's amazing.
They're really sweet though. You can see, they've got those
soft little hands. Those beautiful little eyes. -It kind of looks like
he's smiling a little bit. Like he --
-It does, yeah. He's got that little smile! -Oh, my goodness.
Oh, my goodness. Oh, my heavens.
-You want to give him a kiss? -No, my gosh!
I love it so much. All right, I'll give him one.
-oh, I love him. There you go. -Ah!
[ Cheers and applause ] That was awesome. -Robert, Terry, and Bindi Irwin,
everybody.
