opens up that we always respond amen there's something about just a move of the holy ghost it's critical that we're here amen it's critical that in this moment we respond scriptures fill with examples of this of course in the upper room in acts 2 they were all gathered together in one place the bible says that the holy ghost fell on all of them that were in the house everyone received the holy ghost because they were of one mind and one accord we see it again repeated of course in the house of cornelius where all in this house everyone in this house was filled with the holy ghost when the holy ghost begins to move one of the easiest ways to get a breakthrough is just join right in with the flow and let god give you what you really need do you love the lord i wonder if one more time we can just give him an applause open up your mouth and tell him how much you love him i love you jesus come on let's give him our very best tonight we praise you father we love you thank you for all volunteers that joined us this week and we have done all of the grunt work getting it all demoed out but tomorrow night we will be taping and floating framing and hanging sheetrock in a few doors so i encourage you to come out tomorrow from eight to five work the day shift if you can come and work an hour 30 minutes whatever you can do if you can stop in on your lunch break just come and be a part and then our night shift will start at six o'clock we'll make sure that you get fed you're probably going to wish that somebody else would feed you because i've been feeding them pizza on my nights it's crazy praise who some people may make fun of their phrase and and they said you know if they knew what the lord had done for me delivered me from they would not in fact you know it doesn't even matter if they make fun of me because i know where he brought me from and there's no way that i can keep quiet when i when i cause when i shout it's from a heart that's full of praise and it's with a memory of where he brought me from and everybody has a different testimony a different story in a different way that they reflect that glory and that story but don't ever forget to give god glory from where for where he brought you from amen can we just take a minute as pastor comes as the choir goes down just to lift your hands and thank the lord that you're a living testimony thank you jesus for where you brought me bro want to ever hold back my praise or my thankfulness god i know where i could be today but only through your grace lord you brought me through the hard times the times i didn't think i would make it and you gave me the strength you saved me forgave me and delivered me i'm thankful tonight thank you jesus thank you jesus amen amen i wonder who loves the lord the most here amen amen thank you choir it's we're going to give them a little bit of time you may be seated to get back and get out of the roads but i am so glad to have the choir back amy can y'all hear me okay i i need to switch the handheld um just want to make sure that everybody can hear me all right let me all right is that better some people don't know okay i don't know if it's better i can hear myself a little better um that always baffled me why preachers need to hear themselves they can't hear themselves talk but uh amen it is it's good to be in the house of the lord and for some i see several folks that have made their way back haven't seen in in several weeks and um for those of you that are guests here with us tonight i want to say that it's great to have you if i haven't met you yet my name is rob mckee that sweet beautiful lady that was just singing leading us is was my wife shara and we're just thrilled uh to have you here with us today at the pentecostals we've had great services all day long and we're looking forward to another tremendous week of revival and progress and i'm just thankful for what the lord is doing if you again if you're a guest i i was out for three weeks okay i'm just gonna talk to you for just a minute i i was out for three weeks with the coronavirus thank the lord i'm over it now and i got the antibodies and i can't give it and can't give it so i'm thankful for that uh and uh but uh for those who are still wrestling we have several families that are still really struggling with it please remember to keep all of them in your prayer um and um uh of course we're we're continuing to pray that god helps them to recover quickly i'm so thankful that god is our healer uh amen we serve a great god i do want to mention how much i appreciate all of the labor that has been happening throughout the week everyone that's come up to work someone may wonder why why are we doing this why are we remodeling the foyer first of all research says that the four year area is one of the most important places within the church to connect with guests now in this room here they connect with god but out there they connect with other believers other folks in the church and so it is important that our be spacious and comfortable and up-to-date as we can it's the first impression that most people get when they walk into the door and we are in the process for those of you that have been with us for a while you remember that we were just about to launch our capital campaign for our brand new sanctuary over next door when all the coronavirus quarantine hit is actually the first sunday that uh america started its quarantine we were scheduled to launch our capital campaign on that day and so we had to put a pause on all that and god knows and god's uh we want god's will to be done but we are still continuing it on moving forward and uh it's it's progress it's important progress and so what we're doing out here in the foyer uh for those of you that uh are just curious we are replacing all of the tile in the foyer uh remodeling it all updating it we had kind of one look going on in here and a whole different look going on out there so it's all going to blend together it's going to look really really professional nice out there good news uh probably more so the ladies and the men men really don't care but we are remodeling both of the main restrooms out here in the foyer as well so ladies you're going to have a brand new fully remodeled updated uh restroom and uh men you don't care but it's going to be remodeled too and uh it's so they're going to be repainting all of the four year it's just going to be really really nice and and then i think even putting some windows or something over on the cafe expanding it a little bit so there'll be more room in the cafe that's a big challenge when the cafe was open just getting everybody in there uh serviced in there so in case you're wondering that's what's happening and and it's been very helpful to have folks in the church come up and work and understand that when you're working for the church you're doing more than just laboring and volunteering for some random non-profit you're actually doing the work of the kingdom and you're making a difference and so i want to say thank you it's ministry and so we have ministry opportunities this week it's just a great time you get to know people get to laugh and joke around a little bit with folks and so i encourage you to come up this week i also want to mention it is great to uh uh have brother ray furrow this is from all the way from georgia this is brother terry furrow's father here with us today [Music] amen great to have him here and uh good to see everyone in the house the lord what a great touch of the lord we felt uh all day long and um it's it's been wonderful uh what the lord is doing amen why don't we all stand together [Music] amen now i just i feel compelled every service to mention this because every church has its unique culture every church has something that it does it's that's a little different than in other churches and one of the things that we are sort of known for is our handshaking and our greeting and we're famous for it people always talk about man p okay they just have that little break and everybody's shaking everybody's hands and i've had my hands shook more than anybody else well obviously right now we're limited in doing what we do but i want all of our guests and all of our that are here today with your first or second or third time guest i want you to know we are restraining ourselves but we love you and we're honored that each of you are here with us and uh amen let's give all of our guests another great big hand amen amen so thankful for each of you that are here with us today if you would please turn in your bible to the gospel of john and we will be reading from john chapter 16. [Music] while you're turning there i just want to want to mention um i i realize i've been preaching a lot of services the last couple of weeks but you gotta understand i went three weeks without preaching and so you gotta give me a pass uh because i got three weeks worth of sermons built up and uh i'm gonna i'm gonna preach and uh amen god is good god is good amen and uh thank you again choir thank you shara and all the music team for all that you do hey by the way they're getting ready for zion music conference when is that october 1st 2nd and 3rd and so there'll be some preparations for that if you're not a part of a team i assume that that they we still need some help with all of that um my wife sister megan sharp sister pamela korea if you're interested in helping out with that we have a tremendous registration already so we've got folks coming in from all across the country and so it's going to be a great event and so looking forward to that it's a blessing every year worship and music is so important in the in the apostolic church and not just the apostolic church but god's church god's kingdom it is important and it's such a powerful uh part of what we do and i'm so thankful for the opportunity that we have of not just keeping what we have but helping other churches many small churches church plants leaders music leaders that come here and we invest in them and encourage them give them some tools that they can go back and use uh to help their services uh in in worship amen all right here we go john chapter 16. we're going to read down through verse number seven and then skip around just a bit but let's all read it read together verse number one these things have i spoken unto you that ye should not be offended they shall put you out of the synagogues yea the time cometh that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth god's service and these things will they do unto you because they have not known the father nor me but these things have i told you that when the time shall come ye may remember that i told you of them and these things i said not unto you at the beginning because i was with you but now i go my way to him that sent me and none of you asketh me wither goest thou but because i have said these things unto you sorrow hath filled your heart nevertheless i tell you the truth it is expedient for you that i go away for if i go not away the comforter will not come unto you but if i depart i will send him unto you verse number 12 i have yet many things to say unto you but you cannot bear them now howbeit when he the spirit of truth has come he will guide you into all truth for he shall not speak of himself but whatsoever he shall hear that shall he speak and he will show you things to come amen i i i realize this is a lengthy reading but if we could i want us to read one more passage from this verse 16 a little while and you shall not see me and again a little while and ye shall see me because i go to the father then said some of the disciples among themselves what is this that he saith unto us a little while and ye shall not see me and again a little while and you shall see me and because i go to my to the father they said therefore what is this that he saith a little while we cannot tell what he saith now jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him and said unto them do ye inquire among yourselves that i said a little while and you shall not see me and again a little while and ye shall see me verily verily i say unto you that ye shall weep and lament but the world shall rejoice and ye shall be sorrowful but your sorrow shall be turned into joy a woman when she is in travail has sorrow because her hour has come but as soon as she is delivered of the child she remembereth no more the anguish for the for joy that a man is born into the world and ye uh now therefore have sorrow but i will see you again and your heart shall rejoice and your joy no man taketh from you one last scripture verse 23 and in that day ye shall ask me nothing verily verily i say unto you whatsoever you shall ask the father in my name he will give it to give it you amen by the help of the lord i just want to speak to you from this thought tonight your trouble will be worth it tell your neighbor your trouble will be worth it your trouble will be worth it amen let's pray together father i thank you for this congregation such an honor to stand here before these wonderful people and preach your word i asked god that you would anoint my mind god anoint not only my mind my lips god my ability to deliver but i pray that you would anoint the ears of every hearer god let your will be done in this service god i don't want to just preach a message we want your will to be done here we want a change of life a change of mind we thank you for what you have done already in this service in jesus name we pray and everybody said amen i want you to turn around to three people and tell them your trouble will be worth it [Music] amen god bless you you may be seated amen god is so good god is so good amen there are certain moments images in american history things that seemed to freeze time and to capture our hearts the japanese attack of pearl harbor things like the dropping of the atomic bomb on hiroshima and nagasaki modern history is filled with such events because the advent of radio and television and now the internet news of such events can within moments grip the heart of america and bring everything to a stop we've seen just in the lives represented here some have have been alive at the surrender of germany and japan the ending world war ii the crash of the stock market the explosion of the challenger space shuttle i remember that i remember the day it happened i was in school the terrorist attack on the world trade center in new york but i want to point to one in particular that rocked our nation and it was the assassination of jfk in dallas texas november 22nd 1963. it was a it was a an event that still is debated and discussed today america held its breath as in shock as our 46 year old president seems very young today uh was assassinated and by the way um he was the youngest president ever elected i don't know if you knew that but he was the youngest president ever elected uh in in america and i i know that we i've got some fact checkers here so let me just say uh teddy roosevelt he was younger he was 42 when he became president but he wasn't actually elected he succeeded william mckinley when he was assassinated and and so jfk was the youngest president at 43 ever elected uh president in america but the days following the kennedy assassination there were many iconic moments but there was none that gripped the heart of our nation uh that were both heartbreaking inspiring and engaging like the picture that i'm about to show you the picture of a three-year-old young john f kennedy jr saluting the casket of his father as as it passed by such a a powerful moment this young boy not fully grasping what all was happening and yet he honored his father amen amen john f kennedy went on to have a successful career career as a a publisher and an entrepreneur he he was continually prompted to run for office but he never did and one of the interesting things in in his life was one of his particular hobbies and that was the hobby of being a private pilot he had a uh purchased a plane a piper pa-32 saratoga ii and he loved flying there are there are two types of license types of certifications common that can be earned as a private pilot and there are all kinds of other certifications you can add on but there's two primary types of of license that you can get the initial is called a vfr vfr means visual flight rules uh basically what it means is you fly you fly uh by visual uh leading basically you look out the window in the in in private pilot school they will teach you how to chart your course simply by charting landmarks along the map you can find towers and factories and uh they're all listed on an aeronautical map and you can chart your direction by uh these particular uh landmarks and that's what john f kennedy earned he earned his vfr the next level is ifr it's it's the next level of license and this is where you learn to fly by instrument rating you no longer need to be able to look out the window but you can look at all the instruments on the panel in front of you and uh you can study those principles there those those uh particular dials each one of them uh represent something different some are represent the height the pitch some of them represents you know your altitude your speed your current speed your rate of climb and but they all together give a picture of exactly where you are there's certain uh instruments there that you can ping radio frequencies and without looking out the window without examining where you are you can determine just by looking at those instruments your exact location on a map and john f kennedy was a was a vfr pilot but one of his instructors described his aeronautical abilities at he said at best he was average uh for his level of experience one of his friends described him as an over confident pilot he said he he just believed that he could fly anything and he sort of ignored a lot of his instructors he only had i believe uh roughly about 70 hours without a flight instructor uh in this this uh process and and uh john f kennedy decided that he would fly his it's how he passed away you probably have heard the story was flying from essex airport in new jersey in route to martha's vineyard a small island massachusetts island and um he there were just a host of different errors that he made different things that he could have done differently that all compounded uh and uh ultimately cost him his life about six weeks before the flight john fractured his left ankle in a hang gliding accident and so it made it very difficult for him to even control uh the rudder of the plane you have to you have to use your feet to uh to to change the the rudder the the small little wing on the back of the tail of the plane which keeps you keeps you flying straight and so it was difficult for him to even operate that there was a of course he did not check the weather that day and ignored it he made several tactical errors and several mistakes there is no record of him filing a flight plan poor weather and he was flying across open water bad time of the day with poor visibility with little or no lighting on the horizon when you're flying in bad weather it um the horizon sort of blends in with the water and in which case depth perception and orientation can become very difficult so this was an added problem instead of following the coastline jfk junior decided that he would cut across um in a straight line over 30 miles stretch of water now what most pilots will most pilots who are uh beginning pilots don't like to fly across open water and so they will fly close to the shore until they reach a point where they will cut across and fly across the shortest destination amen jesus is on the main line thank the lord tell him what you want praise god all right and so they um we've had a few distractions tonight haven't we amen that a little bit different but and so jfk he uh he uh began his flight and of course it it ended very tragically but they say that the the ultimate cause of the death of john f kennedy is something that i learned about when i was in in school for vfr and he said they said that it was judging from the way that the plane flew and from all the information that they could uh investigators could learn it was his his death was ultimately due to what's called pilots spatial disorientation and it's it's cause whenever you take for example you take a hard bank to the right and you turn and that's what he did uh when he was flying towards martha's vineyard and that straight shot he was about uh uh i think 300 365 uh yards from uh martha's vineyard and um his flight path was straight but in in taking a hard right bank turn there's something about what happens with your equilibrium and the the uh moisture the water inside your ears begins to mess up your sense of balance and when he took that turn pilots know in those moments you cannot trust what you pr your your own perception be because you could be flying straight and yet you still feel like you're in a hard bank and then and then when you're in the hard bank it just feels like you're you're flying straight and level and uh because john had very little instrument training uh even though he had a basic understanding of the instruments he trusted what he felt more than he trusted the instruments and ultimately he died along with the others two other family members and they died because he tried to trust his own judgment and he could not trust the instruments his perception deceived deceived him and tragically he flew right into the ocean this this story illustrates something about the working of the holy ghost and what i believe god wants us to understand tonight i'm not going to hold you rude alone but i do feel like we are living in a season of time when uh we are so easily deceived by our feelings you know the scripture talks a lot about sensuality and and uh and not following sensual things but the word sensual is really tied to the word senses it's your sight it's your smell it's your taste your hearing and your touch god gave us these as a way to operate but there is a uh there is another uh there is another way to judge direction and and leadership in life we know that it's it's by faith faith in the word of god and faith in the spirit of the lord and i believe that we are moving into an hour where more than ever we have got to be careful that we don't trust what we feel and we learn how to trust the word of god and the spirit of the lord in our life we have an advantage amen we have an advantage over unbelievers we have an advantage over over those that do not have the baptism of the holy ghost in that we have this this sixth sense if you will this ability to trust the word of god and have faith in the word of god and have faith in the spirit of the lord and that's that's what i believe that jesus was trying to teach his disciples because up unto this point no one had been baptized with the holy ghost no one had obeyed the gospel of jesus christ in in our particular text that we've read here tonight in the gospel of john we see the apostle dealing with the finality of all things remember jesus is giving this very lengthy sermon in the upper room and all of this occurs right before jesus would be crucified this particular teaching happened following the passover meal the night of his betrayal and the arrest in the garden of gethsemane and so john gives this lengthy sermon to uh to not only the disciples but to you and i that that we i believe need to learn about our inheritance and our birthright and he's trying to tell them i'm about to go into a time of uncertainty the church is this this group of believers we're going into this time of uncertainty a time of doubt where you're not going to understand what's going on the the the messiah the teacher the rabbi that they have been they have devoted their life to that's called them from their careers and their their lives to follow him they've devoted their lives to him will soon hang on a cross and it's in those moments of uncertainty that that our faith is challenged and we wonder what was this all about did i just waste three years of my life and why why did god bring me this far only to to leave me now and so jesus understands what the concern will be tomorrow and so he he preempts it by by telling them i i i want to warn you there is trouble coming there is uh there's some difficulties that are coming i'm telling you this so in the moment of difficulties you will not be deceived you won't be offended in that moment and think that i didn't know that trouble was coming i'm telling you right now trouble is coming but uh there are going to be those that persecute you and uh and and they're gonna persecute you thinking that they're doing it on my behalf now uh most would would assume that he's talking about what the apostle paul or at the time saw was doing and against the church when he when he brought many of the believers into prison and and uh even killed many of these new testament believers the lord was was trying to prepare them they're going to be people who say that they're working for god and they're going to afflict and torment and persecute the church and i want to tell you that right now and i want you to understand they may say they're working for me but the reason why they are persecuting you and coming against you is they really don't know who i am they don't know me they're not connected with me so regardless of what they say they're not doing my work and i want you to understand that right now and and uh and so jesus is is setting the record straight he said you may you may not think much about it now but when that time comes i want you to remember back in what i said right now you're going to remember you're going to remember that that i warned you about these things if you uh and and then he tells them it is uh i'm going away but it's expedient that i for you that i go away because if i don't go away i cannot send the comforter which is the holy ghost somebody say thank god for the holy ghost amen so if you think it's good right now just wait until you receive the holy ghost amen it is expedient it's better for you right now you're weeping and crying because i'm telling you i'm going away that's what he told him he said you're filled with grief because i told you that i'm i'm not going to be with you much longer but i want to tell you as bad as it may seem there is good news for you if i go away that's going to open up the opportunity for me to send the comforter and if you enjoy the mentoring if you enjoy the fellowship that you're receiving from me then you haven't seen anything yet because when the holy ghost comes it's going to be better than what you be you've experienced for the last three years if you think things are good right now just wait until you get the holy ghost that's what he was saying and when the holy ghost comes it will lead you and guide you into all truth amen it's going to guide you into all truth you won't have to rely on your natural senses and your reasoning any longer but the spirit will convict you and it's going to direct you it will lead you yes you're going to have trouble and uh there's there will be storms but i am sending the holy ghost to you that when you go through those storms you're going to have a spirit that will direct your steps you will not be in the storms by yourself i want to stop right here and tell someone if you feel alone and you feel abandoned if you feel like that you're facing life's trouble alone that's a lie of the enemy amen you have the holy ghost to rely on you have something that the world doesn't have we're not in the same boat as everybody else we have the baptism of the holy ghost amen and uh and in these moments of storms and the moments of great trials we can't trust what we feel the holy ghost will direct us much like the instruments on an airplane but i want to just tell you something the holy ghost will never speak something contrary to your flight manual amen when you learn how to fly a plane you got a big thick manual i've got a couple of them at home and and uh and and and what i'm studying in these has got to coordinate with what the the dials and all the instruments are telling me and it's it's never going to conflict with one another and too often spirit-filled people rely more on the holy ghost than they do the word of the lord and they hear a word from god but they it it doesn't it it's it doesn't connect with the word of god and they think well just because i heard it or i felt it then that must be the holy ghost no the holy ghost flows through the word of the lord somebody say amen second timothy 3 16 all scripture is given by inspiration of god and it's profitable for doctrine for reproof for correction and for instruction in righteousness that the man of god may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works all scripture has is given by inspiration it's the word that word inspiration is the greek word in spiritu it literally means divinely breathed into all scripture is given with the breath of god inside of it other places the same word is translated spirit or spirit of god so all scripture has the spirit of god inside of it amen god breathes through his word that's why when you get a word from god if you can't back it up with scripture it wasn't a word from god it was your emotion it was your feeling it was your opinion but it wasn't the holy ghost that told you something too too often we get something in our mind and we just determine that's what i want to do and must be god has to be the holy ghost because i felt a goosebump when i felt when i thought it amen you can feel all the goosebumps in the world but you don't have scripture behind it your goosebumps came from a goose that came for your mind it came from somewhere but it didn't come from the holy ghost amen praise god when when what you feel does not connect with what you read in the word then trust the word over what you feel jesus said you're going to have trouble but the way that you're going to make it through the trouble is trusting the spirit of god and i want to tell you that that there's going to be a time a little while and you shall not see me and again a little while and you shall see me because i go to the father when he made this statement it it created sort of a debate with the disciples and and it it almost seems a little repetitious but apparently it was important for us to understand that this caused just a lot of conflict within the disciples they say it two or three times what did he mean when he said yet a little while and we're not gonna see him and then a little while and ye shall see me and and back and forth and this goes and finally jesus he understands uh that their their conflict and he says do you inquire among yourselves of what i said a little while and you shall not see me and again a little while and you shall see me verily verily i say unto you that ye shall weep and lament but the world shall rejoice ye shall be sorrow sorrowful but your sorrow shall be turned into joy and this is this is what i want to give you and then i'll be done tonight you're going to have trouble but if you'll stay filled with the holy ghost the trouble that you go through will be worth it that's my sermon tonight you're going to go through problems but if you stay connected not to your emotions not to your senses not to what you see and what you feel if you'll stay connected to the word of god to the spirit of god you will make it through the storm that's coming the reason why some are not here tonight and i know there's there are there are concerns for the coronavirus and we got a lot of people that are out for that reason some are even sick but there are some that were doing great before all of this happened and then trouble count and they started listening to sources in the world and they got caught up in politics and listening to all these other crazy voices and opinions that are manipulating them and trying to keep them afraid and keep them stirred up and they're not here tonight not because not because it's god's will they're not here tonight because they they followed their senses and they didn't follow the word of the lord they didn't follow the spirit of the lord greater is he that is in me than he that is in the word i want to remind everybody yeah coronavirus it's bad i understand it's bad but i want to tell you that even in the age of coronavirus god is still our healer the devil is alive i don't care what you've thought i don't doesn't matter what you feel god's word is still true we're going to make it through this amen you're going to weep and you're going to lament while the world is rejoicing you're going to be sorrowful but i've got good news for you it's not going to last for always i'm going to turn things around that's the good news you're going through trouble but your trouble is not a permanent resident in your house amen trouble is come but trouble is going to go amen there's going to be a time when you see me and i'm with you and then you're not going gonna see me but good news for you i'm gonna tell you right now before i disappear even though there's a season where you don't know where i am don't be disheartened hang on to the truth hang on to the word hang on to the spirit because you're going to see me again amen your your joy is coming back again your sorrow will be turned into joy then he gives this analogy he says a woman when she is in travail has sorrow because her hour has come but as soon as she's delivered of the child she remembereth no more the anguish and and um it's it's the the the joy of holding that baby in her hand now they they say that that uh giving birth is some of the worst pain that anyone could endure and all the mothers say amen amen but yet once the mother gives birth she isn't focused on the pain any longer she's not worried about what she went through she goes through that knowing this is temporary and this is part of the process that i have to get through to the joy that's on the other side of this amen perhaps that's why that that hebrews tells us that we're to look under jesus who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross he went through the pain amen because there was joy on the other side of it all of the the pain of uh that that you experience in childbirth is a race the moment that you hold that little baby that healthy baby in your arms and you see the smile on its face at that moment if you were to ask the mother would you would you give it all up would you would you you know for the all that wasn't that pain terrible and and and she would tell you what i'm holding in my arms is worth it amen i know it was painful i know i went through nine months of misery but what i'm holding in my arms is so worth all of the trouble and all of the pain amen i want to tell somebody today that what you're facing in life and what you're going through even though you're in the middle of it right now don't become discouraged because you're trouble it's going to be worth it amen it will be worth it musicians please come [Applause] i love what romans 5 and 20 says and although the apostle paul is speaking to the church at rome about in particular about the law he's dealing with the law and the effects of the law he he makes a statement that i believe reveals a principle that that you can find uh echoing throughout all of scripture he says where sin abounded grace doth much more abound amen satan will never have a revival amen that is greater than the revival god has let's say it again everything from the kingdom of hell everything that that evil produces will never be greater than what god has blessed us with or greater than our inheritance there is a revival in the kingdom of god that will always be greater than what we face in life no one's going to get to heaven and say man this just wasn't worth it ah man i could have enjoyed my time down there nobody is going to be disappointed with heaven but when we get there we're going to look back at our time on earth and say you know what it was worth every heartache it was worth every pain it was worth every sacrifice it was worth it all amen the trouble will always be worth it when it comes to the kingdom of the lord in luke 6 and verse number 38 again musicians please come it says give jesus teaching and it will be given to you good measure pressed down shaken together and running over will be put into your bosom for with the same measure that you used it will be measured back to you amen god is giving us back amen for everything that we give to him for every sacrifice that we go through for every trial that we go through we will never surrender anything or go through anything that god doesn't bless us in return amen but when god blesses us although he uses the same measure it's always pressed down shaken together and running over because that's a that's just how god operates amen draw nigh unto god and he will draw nigh unto you amen come out from among them abraham be separate and i'll be a god to you and i'll be a father to you and you're going to be my people and i will be your god powerful statements all of these moments when god calls us to take a step towards him but the good news is that god will always match our cadence in other words when we take a step god takes a step that's that's that's going to happen every time but the good news is when god takes steps his steps are always bigger than ours amen when we make a move towards god i'm doing this for the kingdom of the lord i'm doing it for the lord god will always exceed our efforts in return when we bless the lord how many knows that you've never blessed god in your praise as much as god has blessed you in your life and come on why don't we stand together i felt today that god just wanted me to send a word of encouragement to somebody let you know the trouble that you're facing right now it may seem bigger than anything you've faced before let's admit it 2020 has been difficult it's been a difficult year it's been a year filled with trouble we're facing things that we've never faced before trouble unlike any other year and while it's it's tempting at times to become discouraged by what we're facing i'm gonna remind you a principle of what jesus was saying that if you'll just hang on to me don't give up in this moment that now is not the time to backslide give up on god hold on to my word trust the holy ghost renew the holy ghost in your life if you'll just if you'll just hold on to my spirit my spirit will get you through this but the good news is what i'm going to give you on the other side of this trial is so much greater than the trouble that you're facing right now and while we talk about the magnitude of this trouble that's literally encircled the world can you imagine what god has waiting on the other side of it this thing for the church [Applause] our dear brothers and sisters in louis in the state of louisiana that lost their churches and and and their many other church members homes were devastated by the storm i i've talked to several of these pastors and and encouraged them i i just believe the revival that god has is going to be so much greater than what they've suffered in this storm when they come through this i'm telling it's going to be greater than a hurricane amen that was a what was it a a level four hurricane i believe god's got a level four holy ghost hurricane that's come into this to that area amen i realize this is a simple thought today but i really i just i just feel like somebody needs to know it god's got something greater than what you're facing on the other side of this he's got something greater so when when the lord talks about this being persecuted not it we didn't read it but he talks about being persecuted unto death he said on the other side of that you're going to have joy that's eternal you see how that works you live 40 50 60 years and well got the grave well guess what god has something on the other side of it that has no end amen now i know it's hard to get excited about death but i kind of feel like like job in the middle of the trial we just got a revelation that i don't i don't believe that god is is killing all the church off amen i don't believe that at all i believe that god is preserving the church for a tremendous revival that we're going to experience amen i believe that 20 21 even the end of 2020 is going to be a time of great revival amen i believe it i believe it and while some you know are wondering about the state of the church we've got folks that haven't been to service in five six months since this whole thing began seven months seven months since this whole thing started they have not been to church since then and and they wonder well man there's so many people i want to tell you we've got a great crowd here tonight but we have so many brand new people that have joined the church in this season can you imagine what it's going to be like when everybody returns i'm not looking i'm not looking towards discouraged i'm i'm encouraged amen i'm encouraged by the size of the trouble because god's got a triumph that's so much bigger than the trouble that i'm facing he's got a promise amen i wonder if we can lift our hands right now let's thank the lord god i thank you for what you're going to do i thank you lord for your presence that i feel in this place god you are great and greatly to be praised come on let the lord encourage you right now let him lift you up lift your spirits in jesus name in jesus name we pray thank you father for what you're doing thank you jesus for your come on lift up your voice just a little bit longer [Music] thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah we worship you lord amen telling you god knows what he's doing there's power in the holy ghost we are not helpless we are not powerless we are not comfortless [Applause] [Music] amen just a few moments ago sister sweet sister korea had uh an attack and they believe it was due to low blood pressure when we prayed god touched her they just amen god touched her they just checked her blood pressure her blood pressure the first time was very very low they just checked it again completely normal we serve a healing god [Music] i said he is a healing god we are not powerless i'm glad we have the holy ghost in the midst of all of this hallelujah amen amen amen i don't know that i've mentioned this but i think it is significant i think it was about two weeks ago i i was not here i think i came that sunday morning but i felt miserable i was i'm telling you the covet was beating me up and we had others in the church that that were struggling primarily by the josh malone and he was in icu they were talking about transferring him to a recovery facility for two months they said it's going to take at least two months for him to get over this but the church has the holy ghost and the holy ghost field church prayed [Music] can i tell you tell me i've never felt anything like it in my life i was beat up and wore down but they prayed sunday night monday morning my wife can testify i had shot out of bed i felt amazing i said i don't know what's going on it's over whatever it was it's over i think it was the next day i believe the day what was it oh the next day when i felt better they doctors they came in and took a look at brother josh malone and sent him home pneumonia's gone we are not powerless we have the holy ghost come on lift your hands and just ask the lord lord renew my faith today in this moment of trial and trouble god i want you to renew our faith in jesus name in jesus name [Music] hallelujah thank you lord for what you're doing right now thank you for what you're restoring in the church [Music] nothing is [Music] [Music] is [Applause] [Music] i want i just feel like there may be somebody here today that maybe it's it's not covered related at all but you're facing a trouble right now that you feel is almost overwhelming in life a family situation a job situation you've got an issue going on in your life that that you just want us to pray for if you would just lift your hand right now look around the room we've got relatives that are going through things and sickness come on lift your hands right now if you're standing next to somebody with their hand lifted i want you to stretch your hand out to them i just believe that god's going to make a change all across this room right now by the power of the holy ghost by the power of the word of the lord we intercede right now for every one of these needs in the name of jesus that's it come on pray with authority speak to the challenge in jesus name i declare the liberty and victory and healing in this house provision in this house in jesus name you are a healer you are a deliverer god you are faithful in all things and we thank you in advance for what you have done we speak it done in the name of jesus provision done in the name of jesus healing in the name of jesus amen if you lifted your hand i just want you to thank him for it thank you lord thank you that you have made a way i thank you lord for the miracle right now hallelujah thank you jesus you're gonna make a way lord we love you jesus thank you jesus hallelujah hallelujah we thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus amen wait praise god well this service has had it all amen we've seen a lot of things happen believe it or not that's not the first time we've had a medical crisis in service it was one sunday years ago that's not even this is not anything new had one sunday years and years ago we were still in the fan shaped building i think it was three services in a row we had uh i think it was sunday three sundays in a row perhaps we had medical crisis one service we had the the paramedics come in and working on somebody right in the middle there everybody was fine they were just having seizures and somebody else had some other challenge but everybody ended up being okay but it's just amazing amen this is nothing new god is still in control god is good amen and uh i'm thankful for for god's keeping power and god's touch on sister korea amen this is unusual service but it's over amen god bless you thank
