RK 24 Tractor Overview/ Review

hey guys this is will wild wonderful and today we're talking arcade tractors all right so uh what's going on is me and my wife we've paid off some of our debt we've been doing it for a while really working on it and uh this has been in the cards for a while it says this is not the tractor that i intended on buying i intended on getting the rk 55 but the more i thought about it this little bitty uh rk24 is more along the lines of what we needed um let me spin you around i'm gonna give you a look at this thing uh then i'm gonna tell you what i'm doing with it and i'm gonna show it being worked because i have been doing a lot of research on these things and nobody is really giving too much on what it can do and that's that's what you gotta know when you're gonna spend this much money sorry it's bright out here uh but yeah let's uh spin around here and show you what i got okay so this is the rk24 all it stands for is 24 horsepower the rk is real king okay these little things are hydrostatic um eight year warranty for the powertrain anyhow which is fantastic uh they come full wheel drive i've got the loader on it and i grabbed one with a backhoe because it's what i need it for now the bucket is the quick attach or you can put skid steer attachments on it let's say you can see the pedals hydrostatic cup holder comes standard with the controls for an attachment like they've got a hydraulic dump trailer i'm gonna actually use mine for a log splitter that i'm gonna make uh the backhoe is a 6.5 which all that means is it'll dig six and a half foot deep uh does have the roll bar on it um i'm going to try to make this nice and sweet and simple and quick a couple of nice features on it it does have the lock for the float and this here will lock your controls which is nice when you got a bunch of kids um you do have a throttle here that uh will idle you up but it does not affect your speed okay that was a question i had that i didn't really see answered so if you're using a uh brush hog or tiller something like that the backhoe uh you can idle this thing up and you know it doesn't affect your speed at all because i'll keep it idled up i'll get off of it and i'll move me forward and keep digging um another quick thing this is your hood release [Music] i didn't see anybody say where that was which was annoying let's see if we can get this here it's got a three horse engine or not three horse sorry a uh three cylinder engine um battery is in the front all these side panels do come off of this uh the backhoe for the main arm it does have a float as well which i didn't really see is necessary but when you're getting used to the controls that is extremely nice i don't use it all that much but if you're just you know grating out bottom of a ditch and you really don't want to dig any deeper you just won't fill up your bucket with all the junk that's nice sorry i've got river going here i have found one thing about this tractor i absolutely hate and it's the only thing that i dislike about it this seat spinning this thing around is a nightmare look i've already i don't know if i busted that or not it looks like i did right there and i broke see if i can focus on it this here for the seat belt seat belt cover but this lever here releases it i'm gonna hook you to the steering wheel and i'm gonna show you how this thing works okay i don't know if you can see it very well so what i'm gonna do is pull the lever you gotta hold the lever all right now this thing's heavy okay and it likes to smack right there okay every single time that armrest hits there if you didn't have the armrest you'd be fine but what really sucks is right here see if i can line you up again kids broke my uh uh holding equipment here so i got some stuff jerry rigged for it okay right here okay you got to stick your hand in under that fry up on it all right now if you keep your hand under there when that goes forward it's gonna smash your fingers i mean smash them you're gonna hate life because that comes down right on that bar okay that little thing's a nightmare but that's the only thing i dislike about this tractor okay i can live with that all right let's go over what i'm doing i am digging water lines for my well right here where it drops down is a massive rock now i don't know how big it is i'm gonna try to yank that thing out here now that's what i want to show nobody shows what this thing can do all right it takes some time it ain't perfect you know you ain't got a whole whole lot of power um compared to you know something three times its size but for the size it's got plenty of power let me pull this thing up out here i got it in idle right now now that mechanical thumb there is nice when i very first saw it i really liked it and then i went to use it and i really didn't like it i didn't see where it was going to be useful but uh look at that i mean it holds it up pretty good [Music] we've used this tractor to do all the water lines uh we've dug down three foot for water lines for our house our chickens and our goats in total it worked out to about 300 foot of water line in really hard clay we've used it to cover up all the trenches that we've had to dig everywhere water and electric we've moved trees that i've dropped on the property and used it to dig up all the stumps i've used it uh to run a rock break in our front yard and uh in other areas around the property now the tractor did not come with the rock rockrake to wait until our veggie garden the tiller did not come with the tractor to clean out the goat pen and as always there's plenty of helping ends around here you gotta help her she wants a ride crazy goat [Music] [Applause] [Music] and to clean up around the property me and the kids absolutely love this if you like me and know nothing about driving and using a tractor then this is the perfect beginner's tractor for you it's perfect in size easy to maneuver the pedals and levers have dummy directions and it's something me and the kids feel comfortable using even when will's not here like when he's helping our father friend [Music] the strength of the tractor i would say this thing for its size blew me away with how strong it was it has plenty enough power and it can pick up way more weight than i ever imagined it doing especially if you've got a counterweight on the back it's plenty easy enough to use even my youngest kids can use it so with a little you know adult supervision and as far as fuel goes i would say for the power it's pretty good running at the full throttle which is about the 3000 rpm i can do about six six and a half hours worth of you know work with it which this is diesel it is not gas all around it is a fantastic little tractor definitely worth the money and i have used this more than i would have even imagined um [Music] we've put more use on this tractor than what you're seeing in this video and we will do updates on it it is held up fantastic
