[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] 5 32. thank you [Music] [Music] so that one my name is brad i'll be your attended our way to emeryville california uh just to tell you a little bit about car here we have extra bottle of water upstairs in the middle of the car right next to our coffee stand yeah we'll be cut coffee early in the morning at about 6 30. on thursday evening we thank you for choosing amtrak as your motor transportation okay ladies and gentlemen this message goes out to our sleepy car passengers we have the 531 532 of the 540 sleeping guard this is your dining car steward we're gonna come by we're gonna start today today and tuesday and the 5 31 on wednesday the dinner we will starting at 5 32. that is my reservation and reservation on we're going to come through the train oh coming up this is so [Music] okay okay i yeah [Music] right like i figured it out okay ladies and gentlemen in my sleeping car you're holding a 5 30 dinner renovation the table is not ready in the time to call 5 30 reservation it's all sticking out passing just here we go 5 30. foreign yes um real quick before we get to uh creston station we've got a train up ahead hopefully they'll be on the move in just a few minutes and we'll be on our way into the station [Music] so [Music] foreign [Music] is um thank you so [Music] [Music] [Music] so so we talked about mass we talked about the safety card uh let's talk about restrooms quick a minute uh folks these cars are old they're from the 70s and the toilets what empties the toilets is a vacuum pump system the vacuum pump is not as strong as it used to be so the restrooms be kind to those your attendance clean them up try to keep them nice also we 100 guarantee you that there is a flush button in every toilet we absolutely guarantee it and we ask you to please use it at least once uh you can use it two or three times if you want to there's no extra charge but please make sure you at least use it once so thank you for that um let's see as far as the lounge car goes this is a pretty full train i expect the lounge car is going to be pretty full when we walk through it so how we do that is we take turns uh there's only 60 some seats in there so not everybody can sit in there all at the same time so we kind of have to do it in shifts so if you're in there now or you're making your way there whatever your turn will be uh right to fraiser colorado or winter park stop you will get some gorgeous scenery all the way up the front range beautiful views of denver from there and keep those seats all the way up to winter park frasier then we're gonna switch out and let the next group sit in there so thank you for your cooperation oh that way everybody gets a turn if you have any concerns any questions uh anything you'd like to know about the train don't hesitate to ask there's lots of us in uniform here we're happy to help you out of any substance with any device on the train at any time i hope that's clear we're just getting through the busy uh bn up yard here on our way out we'll get going here and pretty soon there'll be some gorgeous views about 30 minutes if you look high up on your right you can see tunnel number one after something number one you're going to pop out to a point called plainview colorado on a clear day you can see a quarter of the state of colorado a little eastern front range uh an impending storm is coming in so not very clear today but you should be able to see for a far distance something number three is going to lead you in your first canyon that'd be south boulder kent our south el dorado canyon and then we'll head into the south boulder canyon so best viewer coming up on your right uh we left denver at 5280 that's our elevation there in denver we're gonna get all the way up to 9239 happy feet within the next hour and a half so our folks uh leaving the tunnel district here very shortly we are going to go by uh we are going by south boulder creek very full of snow which is great we like snow we like water here in the state of colorado you folks on the left here are going to get some love in just a few moments that south boulder creek is going to flip around to your left and then we're going to go through pine cliff tolland and uh rollinsville on your left hand side that's going to be your next three mountain towns [Music] okay [Music] foreign uh we're gonna head through the six point two mile on mafi tunnel here in just a few moments out of all 42 tunnels between denver and grand junction this is the only one we ask that you please remain in whatever car you're traveling in it takes us about 10 minutes to get through the tunnel uh i'll give you a minute warning and then we're going to head through the moffat tunnel remain in whatever car you're traveling in for about 10 minutes this will keep the cold dust and diesel fumes out of your car not life-threatening but it just doesn't smell good so that's what's coming up here in just a few moments all right folks here we go we're heading into the tunnel uh please remain in whatever car you're traveling in for about 10 minutes we do appreciate it all righty folks uh came out to narnia aka uh winter park ski resort that's the resort there to your left chairlifts alpine slide in the actual resort we actually stop at frasier for you folks leaving us at frasier if you would like to get off and get some fresh air this is recess time as well so you can get off get some fresh air have a cigarette remain trained side folks uh reborn properly once you hear the train whistle or the all aboard all right [Music] [Music] so [Applause] a 540 sleeping car we're going to start lunch at this time upon entering the dining car please wait to be greeted and seated by a member of the dining become available so first call for lunch here we go kids so okay foreign again glenwood springs passengers uh please now's the time to return to seats accommodations and be prepared to be trained for the rest of our passengers this is a smoking fresh airstop you're welcome to step off the train here however let me call all this the bermuda triangle stop along amtrak uh folks wander off here we never see him again so please stay close to the train as soon as you hear the whistle uh jump right back don't jump get right back on this train as quickly as possible and we're going to be heading down the track [Music] sorry folks that was our stop at glenn with springs our next stop will be in one hour and 40 minutes that's at grand junction colorado one hour and 40 minutes till our next stop uh folks so we change operating crews there so your conductors and engineers change out therefore you get about 10 minutes on the platform there while we switch paperwork and do everything we need to do so you get about 10 minutes also i want to make sure you're aware that at grand junction there is a very cute store inside the station uh it's like a little convenience store they have snacks sodas games toys books magazines and some personal sundry items such as hair combs or toothpaste and you know stuff like that that personal items you might uh have forgotten uh this is the only store along the entire route so uh if you want anything you're welcome to go on uh you get off the train and go in the store because it's in the station so if you're on the platform in the station or in the store you will definitely hear the all aboard and not miss the train so uh just giving you a little heads up so you can think about what you might want to buy at the store if anything just let you know red junctions next so san francisco bay area we just left grand junction colorado the last stop in the centennial states devastation stop will be green river utah we're not going to be asking usage is still mandatory unless you're actively eating drinking or in a private accommodation please wear your masks also when you're traveling about the train please wear shoes if you're using any electronic devices that are noisy please add headphones using headphones and trigger that was changed uh how do you like three [Music] hey where's this train going [Music] [Music] attention folks uh once again uh we've uh stopped the train just short of a broken rail uh we're waiting on a maintainer uh the eta we just got on that maintainer is about 20 minutes he'll probably walk us over once again do apologize for this delay rare when it happens but when it does it's nothing but uh here we go all right you guys hold across this and let us go all right dining car got five at least we got to cross it he watching ladies and gentlemen attention coming up here in about 10 minutes next station stop of reno that's right reno nevada is next if this is your destination now's a good time together we are going to get an awful lot of people on here so please uh stay in the seats you're in don't be shuffling around we're gonna get a lot of people on here [Music] headed into california with the final stop of emoryville if you did join us here at reno and your ticket has not yet been collected uh we are walking through to get a final check of tickets if you have any connections further up the road if your ticket is not scanned it can't cancel the rest of the reservation our next stop coming up in about one hour and ten minutes is going to be truckee truckee will be our next stop truckee we're making a couple of stops the platform's not as big as we'd like it to be so i can't fit the whole train on the platform so we're gonna be making our first stop in a sleeper car the 532 car then i'll be pulling the train forward once again truckee california coming up my can't get for one uh wow [Music] all right with that folks our next stop coming up in about 25 minutes we'll be sacramento once again sacramento will be our next stop all right folks we are coming into our next station sacramento if you are continuing on with us past sacramento this is a fresh air break smoke break if you will if you want to step off here and smoke you're more than welcome to do so we do ask you stand 25 feet away from any and all open doors do not leave the station platform as soon as we get everything all the work we need to be done there we will continue on our way to our next stop for those of you that are waiting for the coast starlight unfortunately but unfortunately you will be waiting here for a little while so again just hang out the main station building uh there's plenty to do over here once again folks sacramento now arriving all right folks our next stop coming up in 15 minutes will be davis once again davis will be next in 15 minutes um let's take a look around make sure you have everything head on downstairs in the car that you boarded and prepared to exit once again martinez now arriving so and uh no stepping off unless richmond is your final stop would you know how much more to go to our final stop so this will be very brief once again folks richmond now arriving once again folks emeryville last and final stop for our journey today coming up in eight minutes all right lisa we are now coming into the final stop of the afternoon emeryville once again this train is out of
