Richard Madden relives the Game of Thrones Red Wedding scene | GQ Action Replay | British GQ

I think it's really rude you've made me watch this hi I'm Richard Madden and today I'll be doing the GQ action replay of my Game of Thrones death actually quite nervous to watch this because the last time I watched it they did it with Michelle Fairley who plays my mother and obviously spent an emotional scene and I think we would actually booked in tears by the internet quite embarrassingly so let's hope I don't cry today side note the drummer in the sequence is actually the drummer from Coldplay yeah [Music] you're great so funny I still watch the show but I kind of forget that I was in it no I feel I been remiss my King has married and I owe my new queen a wit Michelle Fairley is such a brilliant actress well Tom who actually plays the the the guy that stabs my wife in the stomach there and also prayed the ex-soldier and bodyguard who tries to kill the Home Secretary these arrows roast Nicky and me for days just kind of trying to have a cup of coffee and you just knock everything out I think there's like a dime-sized because you can't go right first one hits he is here like this and then you've got one there comes you like that and then you go on in your legs so it's like that kind of like a strange puppet don't she goes this is quite an emotional sequence I mean just as an actor to do that kind of war to your unborn child be murdered and then your wife is only dying in your arms not a comedy [Music] top tip shaving foam gets rid of fake blood because it stains your skin so that moment when I get stabbed in the stomach I've got this hydraulic pump with loads of fake blood and it's got a little hole here so the blood goes and but on the first take and it was just totally messed iron so I just had like I don't know a few liters of fake blood just pumped it's the inside of my costume so I'm just kind of doing my acting but realizing new Bloods coming and I'm just getting colder and wetter and stickier on the inside yeah there's the sweating still sporting and then that screams she does spotty blood spotty Bloods and then I rushed to get on the last flight back to London and I remember being on this this flight back to London covered in fake blood exhausted and just sobbing very loudly on the plane and and people looking at me quite strange Dix it looks like I just murdered someone and go on a flight which in fact I hadn't I'd been murdered [Music]
