job chapter 9 verse 32 just a couple verses and then I'm gonna preaching how I feel it the Bible says in starting in verse 32 job speaks he says he is not a mere mortal like me that I might answer him that we might confront each other in court if only there was someone to mediate between us someone to bring us together someone to remove God's rod from me so that his terror would frighten me no more then I would speak up without fear of him but as it now stands with me I cannot I felt very led this week and I think it's kind of I think it's kind of divine timing but I want to preach a message on night one of who conference as we jump into this I want to preach from the thought down and out down and out and I'm believing the night some people gonna get set free night one I believe you're I believe you're Saturdays never looked so good I believe the future has never been brighter I believe oh we're going we're going we're gonna go there tonight so would you pray with me lowly thank you so much for your word we thank you so much that you got us here and lord I just pray that you'd remove every distraction god your word says that you inhabit the praises of your people and so he sends you here we don't have to perform we don't have to produce anything God your presence is here right now so have your way Holy Spirit move in this place and Jesus mighty and holy name all of God's people said come on all God's people said come on food conference can you go ahead and make some noise for the King of Kings the Lord of lords well it's been quite the year for my wife and I it's kind of wild to consider that this time last year we were just in a house just two people but after eight years of praying and believing many of you have been celebrating with us but God gave us our miracle boy Wyatt Wesley Wilkerson was into the earth it's crazy cuz like last year we were all here together and he wasn't here but now he's here is his first boo confer he's got some boomer oh we got baby Murch of course we got baby March I love I love being a dad man like I'm I'm really really enjoying this season I always thought I would like it but I didn't know I was gonna love it this much I'm learning stuff every day my favorite thing right now I told our church many times in the hospital day one I discovered this thing while I was in the hospital night one the nurse came to me and said rich mr. Wilkerson is very important that your son in this time as he's an infant that you nurture him and the way that you nurture him is by taking his shirt off and taking your shirt off and some spending some time called skin-to-skin well I'd never heard him skin-to-skin but I'd be honest I'm obsessed with skin-to-skin like we're still doing skin-to-skin every day it's okay buddy it's time for skin-to-skin you know we keep joking around he's me 14 years of agent mic probe take your shirt off skin-to-skin no you know like yeah take your shut off your 18 let's come skin-to-skin it's Father's Day yeah and it's just the best kid and just so much that I'm learning about being his dad and we built his room out which is always fun when you get it with a newborn like you get the room all put together and one of the cool things about his room is that he's got this this shelf it's a floating shelf these clear plexiglass like shelves and there's all these kids books and it's been so long I'm 34 years of age I haven't read kids books since I was a kid but now as a dad I'm putting him to sleep I read these kids book a lot of these kids books I really really like like I like all the dr. Seuss stuff and you any green eggs and ham people you look over that that's the good stuff right there you know but some of these kids books are like I don't know if I want Wyatt reading this like there's this one book that we have on the shelf and like I weep every time I read it it's called The Giving Tree how dare this boy cut this tree I'm like I hate it you know but there's one what there's one book does this book on the shelf at I'm like I don't even know if I'll read it anymore have you read this book it's called is called Alexander and the horrible terrible no good awful day or have you said have you seen this that's the title the books like Alexander the terrible horrible awful no good rotten worst day ever but like you read it and like bro I want to be like homie those are some first world problems you're dealing with I woke up with gum in my hair yeah big deal grateful that you even get to chew gum you know it makes me laugh cuz I'm like I don't want why reading this he's gonna become spoil he's become rotten and as I was thinking today you know the story of Job if you're gonna title it something it would be a really great title to call it job the terrible horrible no-good awful rotten day because if we're being honest like I don't know if any of us could ever compare to a day like job's day if anyone knows about being down-and-out job knows all about being down and out I don't know I just felt impressed I don't want to speak to the first world problems tonight but I do want to speak to the heart problems and I do want to get inside past your projected cell phone I want to talk to the actual self I don't think there's any mistake that we're speaking about this tonight you know this past week god bless it but we lost an incredible designer Kate Spade if you've read the news this morning I woke up to one of my favorite people in culture Anthony Bourdain committing suicide at 61 years of age and what it tells me is it tells me that there is a world right now that although they look good on the outside and although it's projected like things are happy something on the inside is broken something on the inside is hurting and I think tonight by looking at the story of Joe we ought to find some comfort and hope the story of job is an amazing story and a lot of the summary of job begins in job chapter one I'm gonna give you homework to go back home tonight and read it but let me just summarize it so we can get to our text tonight so we know we're talking about job is not a fictional character job is a literal person who actually lived zekiel chapter 14 speaks of job James chapter 5 references job job was a real man a wealthy man a successful man a man who had many things that flourished and went really good for him yet there was a season of his life that he was perplexed as he went through trial after trial like none of us in this room probably will ever experience and here's how the story goes just once again we should put into the Bible says job chapter one that one day the angels of the Lord as well as the devil come to present themselves to God and God says to the devil he's having a conversation the devil he's like where have you been and he's like I've been roaming the earth now watch this the Bible says that God says to the devil have you considered my servant job there is none more upright than him there is none more faithful than him it got me thinking a little bit this week I am absolutely amazed at the confidence of God in me talking to the devil about you and me like I think all of us including me just hear me all of us we long for the day that we cross onto them through the pearly gates on the streets of gold and we hear from our Lord and Savior well done good and faithful servant I'm longing for that day but what have you change your perspective around what if you realized that every trial you are under right now every struggle every bit of pain what if it's just an indication that God thinks that you are already a good and faithful servant can I get a witness in the house tonight well what if God has trust in you more than you have trust in him have you considered Joe he's faithful he's strong he's awesome I want to be a person I hear me I want to be a person who's trustworthy with God stuff God you can trust me God you can use me Here I am again I'm signing up boo conference 2018 I'm not afraid of the trial I'm not afraid of the pain I want you to train me I want you to use me I want to be a faithful servant but unless he puts me through the trial I'll never get trained it's funny about my son Wyatt like by the way if you don't want baby illustrations you should not have come to this conference but my son why is like the mo is perfect like everyone who meets like oh yeah that's perfect kid you know doctors already said his reading skills are off the charts I mean it's amazing like my own is my son white he doesn't cry like he doesn't he just like he just chills he's like he's perfect the only time that he cries is when we do this thing called tummy time I don't if you know this but parents know about it it's like you have to put a baby on their tummy so that their neck gets stronger and every time I put him on his tummy like he starts he starts crying and and and he's like ah he's crying and when he cries I know he doesn't have words but it sounds like dad how come you're allowing me to go through this much pain don't you even love me it's the very fact that I love him that I don't pick him up Joey if I pick him up his neck will never get strong and if his neck and every song he can't put his head up and if you can't put his head up he can't sit up and if you can't sit up he can't he can't walk and if he can't walk he can't run and if he can't run he can't jump and if he can't jump how's he ever gonna win an NBA championship with the Miami Heat I gotta let him try I got a I think the him he's going this is the most trouble in my life and it probably is the most trouble in his life right now and I want my son to know that the trouble is training you you need to know tonight that your struggle guess what that thing is strengthening you your pain has a plan I'm telling you what tonight God is using every bit of adversity in order to create some audacity in your life don't you dare give up now don't you quit now God wants to use you come on conference make a little bit of noise in this place I don't want to give up in the face of pain I don't want to give up at every trial if I pick him up he's gonna be doing tummy time forever he's got to go through the trouble to get to get trained to get stronger I just really believe it I really believe that God saves his hardest assignments for his most faithful servants what if what you're underneath is not because God is mad at you but rather because he so loves you that he says they're faithful it's crazy right because like the devils like no God like no now totally now if you would remove your hedge of protection then Joe would curse you and die and I hear that word like hedge of protection and I grew up in a Christian home it's like super Christian ease right I don't you love Christian ease remember I grew up in a school it's like people raised their hand for requests like you're requesting to be unspoken why did you raise your hand to tell us that just silent request okay great your hand went up awesome well we don't know what to pray for you know like a hedge of protection only followed by you know traveling mercies that's always a good one right can you spray for traveling mercies I'll just pray for mercy bro yet it's interesting because the devil says if you would remove your head to protection so it's not Krishna he's actually very very biblical and there's some amazing insight there because something tells me something that's really really astonishing the fact that the devil knew that there was a hedge of protection around Jobe tells me that the devil had tried in the past but when he got to job's house he discovered that house is protected that house has got something around it and if I could get in I would but I can't get in oh you see if there's some people that are certain to shout and starting to get it a little bit because what we're understanding is this it's not until we get to the other side of eternity that we will ever begin to discover all the things that God has saved us from and spared us from it's not until I walk on streets of gold that I'm gonna find out that yes the enemy he formed a weapon but baby the fact that I'm standing here is a declaration that it is yet to prosper I'm still standing I got a reason to worship God you ought to worship God like you know that you know you've got a reason I just know my life I should have died in the car accident should have ended up in jail after that party I should not have a wife that loves me that's for real facts right there I shouldn't have a son I'm telling you the only logical conclusion is that God has protected me because I have a purpose come on somebody just give God praise just right now for the fact that you're standing here so God makes a deal with the devil I know it's wild but he says all right I'll remove my head to protection and you could touch all his stuff you can come after everything in his life but you cannot touch the man himself in the scripture then quickly tells us what takes place in job's terrible horrible no-good awful rotten bad day literally in one moment job he's in life successful wealthy but in one moment all of his cattle are killed in one moment all his camels are killed in one moment all of his flocks are killed he loses all of his business but not just his business all the employees that make up that business today they all get killed his kids if you can imagine this his kids are out of party altogether and the house collapses on the kids and one person after another come up to job and they bring him this bad report I mean this is not a bad day this is like a decade of pain in one day to make matters worse job is in his lowest moment go back and read it all of his friends turned their back on him and then his wife his wife comes to him and says why don't you just curse God and die how do you even respond to that Thank You helper thank you Joe is a pretty good picture of humanity job is a pretty good picture of what happens whenever we start to think that this stuff of this world will satisfy our soul I love the world are not like I'm not against the world but I know where my help comes from I know where my confidence is in you you need to understand building a life and building a foundation on this world will always fail you you can have all the money in the world and still have a tormented soul you can have all your stock put in your health and all it takes is one call from the doctor to say you got cancer to realize all that work guess what it did not save me you can put your confidence in your business you can put your confidence in your education you could put your confidence in your relationships but even people will fail you job is in this place and the only way to describe his current state is he is down and out he's trying to find God but he cannot find God in his circumstance he can't find God in his pain he longs for justice and there in job chapter 9 he declares as I read I will read again he says this he says he is not a mere mortal like me that I might answer him that we might confront each other in court if only there was someone to mediate between us someone to bring us together someone to remove God's rod from me so that the terror would frighten me no more then I would speak up without fear of him but as it now stands with me I can not do here jobs grown job is groaning for salvation job is groaning from the depths of his soul for a redeemer listen to his words he said I wish God could be incarnate to become a mortal that we could actually have a conversation that he understand what it is that I'm going through I wish God wasn't so far off there's this gap there's this chasm and I don't know how to get to him and I wish he would come and bridge the gap inna I wish there was a mediator I just wish someone would come and take the pain and the wrath of God away do you hear his cry you know that job is the oldest manuscript in the Bible and from the oldest manuscript in the Bible creation has always been groaning and has always been crying out for a savior Joel didn't know who he was asking for he was asking for Jesus Christ to come and rescue him I don't care who you are tonight I don't care if you're a pastor a preacher I don't care what your title is but the truth is that every one of us have a god-shaped hole on the inside and all of us we were designed for relationship with God and so we've grown and we shout and we wonder if only if only I could get to God but in all of our effort and all of our good deeds and all of our striving and all of our shouts no matter how much we growl no matter what we did we could not get to God but thank God for Jesus that's why God came to us come on somebody take about five seconds right now and give God some praise that he comes to where you are come on somebody give a praise in this house job lived in a moment where he longed for Messiah he longed for a savior longed for a redeemer but as he says but as it now stands for me I cannot speak up I hope you know tonight that this wasn't the end of job's story this is a scene in job story I preached about that all night some of you given up cuz you got one bad scene your CEO without some struggle the story's no good anyways yeah you need to know tonight the 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ came for us and as it now stands some things have changed you see as it now stands we have a mediator you got to write that down tonight that you have a mediator you know a mediator is someone essentially who stands in the gap who stands in the middle and and and brings two parties together yeah as a pastor I've done my fair share of mediation I've I've been in moments where I'm trying to bring people and reconcile people and help people I've done lots of couple counseling lots of marriage counselor one time I was in a marriage counseling moment with a couple and this couple was in a bad spot and this woman she had a whole long list for her husband that he needed to clean up some stuff and fix some stuff or she was out the door but at the top of her list she was like if you don't lose weight I'm leaving and this dude he responds back he's like but what if I lose weight and you still leave and as the mediator I was like well do you want to be single and skinny either way I just lose the weight for her probably you know like it's just mediation you know but it's not that easy for people that like I need mediation like my wife and I week we go to a couple counseling you know like like that that's just the truth like we we we need therapy we go and get help the other day Tantra this is this week I was I was doing stuff around the house being very productive she was on the phone with with her girlfriend or something I was just you know fathering my son clean just cleaning the house and just just being epic and um and I'm afraid I don't use my phone and she's like she's on the phone talking she looks at me she was which is like the sign for money I guess so I was like you know I'm like oh yeah and so I go to my bag and I grab a hundred our bill for like which I think it's pretty generous no Mike you go girl and she's like Sheila phone and she watch my jewels do you have anything less than hundred our bill oh wait don't Cherie like how could you can't be this you can't be this mean man like so we're we've been a couple counts in this entire week having someone mediate for us bringing us back together pray for us our marriages is coming back together we need mediation because in our marriages in our relationships we're prone to have gaps form but we're prone to let's space happen we're prone to let other things fill in the gap and start to create another narrative going on if don't you and I aren't careful if we let gaps get too big it can push us apart and so what we do is we get somebody to come in and help mediate the moment help talk us through our pain help chat with us so that we can continue to grow this is what this is what job is praying jobs praying oh my gosh I'm in so much pain oh my gosh and so much trouble I don't understand why I'm going through this god must be really mad at me God must be really angry at me what's wild to consider is that God is not doing any of this stuff the devil is but still he's like I just wish I could talk to you I wish I could someone can help me with this whole thing and so he's gonna I need immediate I need someone to help me and the good news about Jesus is Jesus is your mediator this is what Paul writes in first Timothy get this in your spirit he says for there is one God and one mediator between god and mankind the man Christ Jesus who gave himself as a ransom for all people that's beautiful that Jesus Christ is your mediator meaning he stands in the gap between you and God and he's your advocate he closes the gap he brings the gap closer together he's your lawyer he's there in heaven as your advocate and we could talk about all of our gaps you and me that we can have in our relationships and leadership as leaders in here and we know the gaps that can happen on our teams and our staff but man we just got to understand that the gap between us and God is far greater than anything we could ever have imagined like the gap between me and the moon is like pretty unthinkable but the gap between me and God is beyond comprehension God is perfect and I am fall I'm a sinful man but this is why Jesus came he came to bridge the gap and be my mediator and be my advocate to God is there anybody's thankful for a God named Jesus who bridges the gap I love it because I need I need I need a lawyer that's what Jesus does scripture says that he he advocates on your behalf so the devil shows up is like hey God rich idiot if the Bible says that Jesus rather he's like objection praise God thank you Jesus and when he objects he does not remind God of my abilities he doesn't remind God of all of my good deeds when Jesus objects all he does is remind God of his own righteousness no no I already paid the price for his sin objection I love the idea that Jesus is my lawyer because today I've got a mediator and at times I feel so far from God but I'm reminded that in my pain and in my struggle when I'm down and out Jesus has come and he's bridged the gap he's closed the chasm and he's my lawyer one of my favorite things is living in America when it comes to a lawyer I don't know if you know about this but we have a policy or a right in America that if you're ever on trial and someone's questioning you and if your testimony is gonna bring harm to you then you can do this thing called plead the fifth it's funny because maybe you're here tonight and you're in a really really tough spot I want to give you some really good advice that my mom taught me when I was younger she used to say rich if you don't have anything good to say don't say nothing at all and some of us in this room what happens to us is that we listen to ourselves more than we talk to ourselves so we start rehearsing stuff in our mind and the pain that we're in the struggle that we're in we think that God has left us we think that God has ran from us but rather God is training you and God is getting you stronger for what's ahead and so if you're here tonight and you cannot confess the goodness of Jesus or if you cannot speak out in faith you're better off not speaking at all and instead of speaking you just let your lawyer do the talking so if you're here tonight and you're having a hard time saying the right thing all you need to do is step back and plead the fifth I find it interesting that five is the number of grace all you gotta do is plead grace over every one of your situations and say His grace is sufficient for me I'm falling underneath the mercy of God i'ma let my lawyer do the talking he's your advocate as it now stands tonight unlike job we have a mediator but it's not that we have a weiner secondly tonight what you need to know is that we don't have to fear the rod you know that you don't have to fear the rod job says I wish someone could come and take the rod of God's terror away from me a rod just you understand is a symbol of wrath or punishment I grew up in a home that you know I don't know if you're anything like me but I grew up in a home where the scripture you know spare the rod spoil the child we took it literally and I think things have changed but I grew up in a home there was no options you know there was just there was no timeout just knock out right like yeah I remember my dad like he would he would discipline me and he's my best dad in the entire world but every time he would always say the weirdest stuff to me is like rich no this is gonna hurt me more that's gonna hurt you I like I like dad don't do it to yourself bro don't don't don't don't don't don't don't need the rod but what happens to a lot of us tonight is a lot of us we have we have the wrong picture of God and it really matters the picture you have of God because however you view God will dictate how you end up receiving from God so many of us even in this room tonight I'm hoping I can change this this narrative in this picture in your mind you have this picture of a God who's angry at you and who has a rod who wants to hit you with the rod and what happens in our life is that many times we let the failures of this world become the depiction of who God is ever a couple years ago this is a silly story but I think it helps prove a point where a couple years ago I was driving my car and I don't want to what idea but I made it a little legal u-turn kind of went over a median and it was it was a anyways and I I pull him this gas station I pulled in this gas station and I just pull up to the gas station I'm getting out and I'm just stopping I want to grab a muscle milk because I'm in the gym and stuff and um I don't know where this SUV pulled up but this SUV pulled up and this dude gets out it's a scary slick a man ever seen my entire life like this this guy he's so big he's got full sleeve tattoos and he has lights on in his SUV and I'm opening my door and when when I opened my door this guy goes Aventura police department you're going to and he says an expletive you're going to jail and I never heard that before I'm just not called to prison minister you don't talk about like this man I don't even - this day like he didn't have a uniform on I wasn't gonna disobey you let's get out of the car like Oh God you know it's so I put my hand on the hood and I tried like officers don't you look at me like oh my god I'm not looking at you the most frightening thing in my entire life I I learned at you know in my 30s I still have a bladder problem like oh god please rich hold it together I was the scarce so scary ultimately this guy you know he looks at me finally kind of Berets me and finally he had my license and fine again so you know what get out here and he throws my license that mean I'm a bang I'll say ah like David Stone in my forehead because don't don't don't go over median see more like yes officer you know I'm so frightened he gets his car drives off and I'm kind of pulling myself together out in the gas station I still want to get my muscle milk is so I took a turn I turned to go in the gas station and when I went to look over I saw there was all these dudes in the gas station they were like looking out for me like yo man these guys are coming after rich you know and so it was so funny as soon as I saw them like I open the door I started walking different like man these cops be trying to get me yo I just totally changed my whole flow [Applause] but see what can happen to us is that sometimes maybe someone in authority or maybe someone that we thought was supposed to be for us maybe maybe they failed us like maybe you're here tonight and you are doing with the wounds of a father and so no matter what you do in this service not how much you sing like you just keep hearing your father's voice or the absent voice of a father and what happens is we have this broken picture and so we think God is mad at us and so we think that everything that's going on in life we over and over again misinterpret his preparation as punishment and like job we're going oh my goodness I just wish someone would come and remove God's rod his his wrath from my life but you must understand that Jesus came to take the rod of God's wrath that's the whole message of the cross that's what the cross was people sometimes come to vous Church and same a know about vous Church I think they go light on sin at vous Church we do not go light on sin at voucher CH know we talk a lot about sin the very fact of the matter was it was sin that put Jesus on the cross not his sin my sin my crimes my scandals my rebellion my hurt my pain all of my sin put Jesus on the cross and he paid the debt at the cross God poured out all of his wrath on the cross he swung the rod once and for all we're not going light on sin we're going heavy on Jesus he took all my sin I got nothing to fear I'm a follower of Jesus my righteousness is not by what I've done it's about what he did Oh preacher one time told his story came to our church he said there was this guy who was struggling with his faith and he had walked away from his faith and hear about this prophet this woman who was a prophet he said I want to see if she's a real prophet so he went to her say if you're a real prophet you can tell me anything you know you can tell me what's up she's like what do you want to know he's like well I want you to ask God what my last sin was and she said okay I'll do that but we just do me a favor before you go will you just pray for forgiveness he said I'll do that and so he left came back the next day he came back he's alright what was my last sin and she said huh I talked to God he goes what was my last thing what what he would he what'd he say she said I can't remember her he said you call yourself a prophet you're a fake profit you can tremor sin no no I didn't forget what God said he said I can't remember some of you tonight you need to get it in your spirit you need to remember to forget I'm telling you the cross of Jesus Christ that is your authority that is the thing you stand under Jesus died so that you could live come on somebody give him praise in this place as it stands we don't have to fear his rod any longer jhope he's in this moment where he is down and out he is hurting he's dealing with oppression he's got a spirit of heaviness on him and he's praying I wish God would come in the form of a man I wish we could have a conversation I just wish I wish I wish I could get a mediator I just wish someone would spare me from the rod of his wrath and I'm telling you I wish I could speak up but for you and I tonight as it now stands you need to understand that we have a mediator and we don't have to fear the rod and lastly tonight we are free to speak up we're free to speak up Jobe is so afraid he's so uncertain he says all if I could speak up in God's presence how I would but but if I speak up he he won't hear me if I speak up he doesn't listen he doesn't respond look what the Bible says in first John I want to give you the Bible tonight I want to set this up I want to make sure some people get free tonight this is what the Bible says 1st John chapter 5 he says I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life this is he's the word the confidence we have in approaching God that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us he hears us and if we know that he hears us whatever we ask we know that we have what we have asked of him listenmi night because of Jesus because the fact that Jesus came to you you are now too free to speak up he is he's dying to listen to you take that back he died to listen to you he wants to hear from you I think we live in a world right now that many times we don't feel like we can hear from God and we go you know I can't hear from God he's on speaking to me right now there must be more sin in my life now it's not sin it's your speed that you're moving too quick and you got to stop and you got to get in God's presence and you got to hear from God so that his voice will be loud in your life he wants you to speak up you can speak up freely you can go with confidence as it now stands you can speak up freely and God hears you but listen to be loud and clear it's not just speaking up to God it's actually testifying who you are in Jesus some of us in this room we don't realize who we are in Christ that you have a testimony how do we overcome we overcome by the blood of the land that's what Jesus did on the cross but by the word of our testimony this whole conference we're gonna be singing and we're gonna be shouting and maybe you don't come from a tradition or a background or maybe you've never even been in an environment like this get ready I'm telling my friend John Gray comes up here I don't care what your background is you're all you're all just are shouting but that's not just hype it's because we have a hope we've got something to shout about in a world that's trying to oppress us in a world that wants us to walk around in depression it's so important that we come into this place and we understand that my confession leads to my liberation and so I am free to speak up and when I speak God hears me and when I testify I'm one step closer to overcoming see it's powerful when you discover who you are it's powerful when you get the gospel in you a couple years ago is I'm not proud of this story but a couple years ago I was at my house and the phone rang it was some number I don't understand when I picked it up it was this operator and this man he gave his name and he said I'm from the IRS so-and-so and mr. Wilkerson I'm I'm sad let you know that you are you are three years on back taxes you've been paid your taxes and there is now a warrant out for your arrest from the Broward County Sheriff's Office and once again I'm just not called to prison ministry and so I was like wow no I said they say yeah you're going to jail I said sir this is that went from zero to 100 quick I can't go to jail there's got me something I can do I'll pay whatever I'll pay it it's okay sir you've got you've got less than three hours to pay this bill okay come what to do I'll wire the money I'll call the credit-card agency I'll do whatever you know and well I'm on the phone with this guy he's talking to me he's talking to me and he's switching lines with me and I'm literally like I'm a hon speakerphone that I'm texting Don she's like girl did you not pay our taxes what's going on we needed a mediator quickly and so um she's like rich we've always paid her taxes like I don't know but that you know you're saying that but he's saying this and I'm going to jail so then I called my mom cuz that's just what grown men do and they're going to jail huh I said mom I'm going to jail I said call the church take an offering I'm going to jail get the Saints to pray your boy is gone till November I'm going to jail an hour and a half this guy had me on the phone you gotta go to Western Union you got to pull out thirty nine hundred dollars and 52 cents has to be a money transfer has to happen next two hours I'm like I'm like taking notes I'm preparing myself I'm getting ready I'm getting all my stuff together I'm like here we go don't Shushi starts she starts beeping on the line she's beep it in I'm not picking it up you know and then she starts text me shows rich get off the phone this is a scammer so that's easy for you to say you're not going to jail she's have rich get off the phone this is a scam I said that's not a scam there's an operator there's a warrant 403 to P five six is the number and she said I'm tell you what you get up the phone I say I can't and finally she's alright I'm getting our tax lawyer on the phone I said how hot she was yes I just talked to our tax lawyer he says it's a scam got the phone I was like well I don't believe it until I hear it from him and so I told the opéra said sir just give me one second I just need a consult with with my finance team made that up and and all of a sudden my lawyers on the phone needs to rich get off the phone so I said what he knows this is a scam this is not how the IRS works they don't call you and ask for a money transfer how dumb are you so that's easy for you to say you're not going to jail is this a scam I said you sure he said yes I'm sure and somewhere after he told me three times that he was sure something came over me I said give me one second I click back on the phone I said sir you said there's a warrant for my arrest well you ought to bring the whole Police Department down on my house cuz your boys waitin arrest me for what come on bring them all down I'm ready for you you won't go night-night I ain't going to prison not today not today devil and I started to speak up and I started to confess now my debt has been paid I paid that debt I don't know one more cent you can say whatever you want and you can lie to me all you want but I know that the debts been paid you got to speak up we're gonna sing in a moment and as we sing it's not a concert put your phone down I know you want to capture it but watch it on you too cuz we sing it stuff changes and I proclaim louder than my problems and the atmosphere shifts in the atmosphere changes because of Jesus I can speak freely see this is so important to see this cuz Joe you got to know this oh this is good Jobe is just a type of Christ you see Jesus is the true and better joke he's the only real innocent sufferer who then intercedes for his friends job was asking for justice he should have been asking for mercy cuz our righteousness is like filthy rags I don't care how righteous you are on the outside every one of us there was a gap but Jesus was the true and better Joe and you might be down and out but guess what that's good news because Jesus came down in order to get you out [Applause] he came down to bring you out so I don't know what you're in tonight but the gospel of Jesus Christ is this is that what I couldn't get damn he came down to me to get me out come on somebody give God a shout of praise all over this house [Applause]
