[MUSIC] >> Hey, what's up everyone? Welcome to this week's episode of
WWE Playback presented to you by Dicestop everything you love
about Wingstop, now on Dice. >> And as an added special, we'll be trying the occasion and
Jamaican jerk flavors. >> Is that Jamaican jerk? >> Jamaican jerk barbecue flavors. >> Damn. Now this week, we go back and
revisit SummerSlam 2005 where myself and Eddie Guerrero battle for
the custody of Dominik. [MUSIC] This was special because
leading into this match, we knew that this was the finale of what
we had started back in WrestleMania. Starting together then against each other,
culminating into the custody of Dominik. It was very special, we knew that we
had something special within both of us to present to the fans
because we just loved doing it. >> I remember sitting in the crowd and
the people around me were kind of just asking me like, I was nervous or like,
I honestly, I wasn't ready, man. I didn't know what was gonna happen. I think I was about seven or
eight maybe cuz that was 05. I wasn't born in 97-
>> You were going into your eighth. You were going into your eighth birthday. >> Yeah, cuz this is August. I watched this back multiple
times growing up and then like every time it pops up,
whether it's on social media or in my feed of what you might
like on the Peacock network. I always get a chance to look at it,
but, man, it's crazy. What's crazy now is that there's
an action figure of this kid. Seeing the crowd coming out, which is-
>> You be the first one you broke that mold, man. >> Yeah. >> There's never been an action figure of
a kid that's been part of the storyline, until your action figure-
>> Yeah. >> Is now coming out. >> Everyone is asking who my real dad was,
that was nonstop, even some of the teachers. Some of the teachers were
unsure of what was going on. So when I would get picked up,
whether it was my mom or pops picking me up from school,
they would pull them aside and ask them. It was just definitely a weird
situation of constantly being asked who your real dad is. >> These dice are crispy and
juicy, more traditional and >> But you're eating bone in? >> That's the only way to go. >> These boneless ones. >> Yeah, that right there. I remember he's carrying the ladder. So he's coming down straight on his back. There's no way he can't hold
the momentum going back. It's always dangerous. Tables, ladders, you name it. Remember, Eddie hit me with a sunset
flip while we're both on the ladder. That fall was crazy. I remember it clearly and
I kind of landed on the ground on the mat, but that also bounce in like
hit Eddie in some weird way. >> I like these fries. I'm definitely-
>> God, he's a fry guy. >> I'm a boneless with fries and
ranch that's can never go wrong. >> What is the bone in? >> It's right there. >> I see what you're talking about now. This move was crazy. We had no idea the ladders were
gonna split open the way they did. And, yeah, talking about the left leg. Like, my left leg landed on top of
the ladder and it just took me back. And that's one of the moves
that you go back and watch. You're like, okay,
now I know why this hurts. It was a crazy fall. It could have been much worse but
I managed to hang on. >> Hey, Dad, did you know that firestop is a virtual
brand only available to doordash? >> Really? >> Yeah.
>> Thank you for the information. >> You're very welcome. >> Man, what are you doing? >> Trying to shake the ladder. >> Shake it. I love the facial expressions
on both Dom and Eddie. I mean, who would have thought, that years later,
you would have been wrestling. >> Not me. >> You didn't show any
interest after that. I mean, you just run out of
the way towards football and hanging out with your friends that I
never insisted on, hey, you wanna train? Just let you do your own thing. >> You should have. >> No, you probably would'nt like it. >> Get used to it. You're gonna learn the hard way. >> Do you remember Eddie yelling at you? >> Yeah.
>> Yeah. >> That was scary. Now because-
>> The Charles. >> Getting me out of there? >> Yeah, you had no idea what
was going on with your dad? >> I had no idea what was going
on throughout the match up. >> Wow, these are fire. >> They're good? >> Yeah,
I remember hitting my shins on that. >> Hitting your shins is the worst-
>> Yeah, yeah, it was pretty bad. >> I'd rather-
>> I try to make like full contact with that 619. And I managed to hit it, but it wasn't as much as-
>> How about right there when you hit your thigh? >> No, the good one. >> That's the original sunset foot balm. >> Now the trick to that is swinging
down and having them in position. But grabbing both thighs
bringing them down. >> I see way back there. >> Yeah, and Eddie was special. This is it.
I'm thinking no. >> Yeah, that was bad. It's pretty scary. I mean, I'm not gonna lie. But it is scary hanging from up there and
knowing that you're gonna drop. And it's gotta be what? 12, 13 feet 15? Yeah, it's got to be 15 feet at least. What's really hard is unhooking
the briefcase from that clip. It looks easy, but it's hard cuz you're
up there, you don't have visual. So you're trying to do it just with your
fingertips, trying to open up the clip. >> And I'm sure an unstable ladder. >> No, not at all. Eddie.
>> Can you pull him or does he fall? >> I think I pull his leg and
he comes down. Jesus. >> I need some more fries after that one. >> You see how he gets up before me,
look, see that? >> [NOISE]
>> So we had, here we go bone in. >> Yeah, stick to your bone in and
don't touch my boneless, please. >> [NOISE]
>> That's, so scary. >> May, June, July, almost four months of torture where you weren't home. >> Yeah. >> Mom didn't get to see you for
four months. Your sister, myself. I mean, the house was empty. That's it. >> There it is. >> Yep. >> That's the victory. >> Now.
>> Wow. >> I don't know why I did that. >> It just came down. >> I was just so
happy that he would come home. >> That's what she told me
she's like you can go in. And there's mom. >> Yeah.
>> Some things are like they are vividly there. I talk about all the time with Eddie
giving me the tweezers at the park. I vividly remember that,
I could close my eyes and I'm there. But this, I have [LAUGH] no clue, but I remember what happened in
the back when I was going in there. So everything that happened afterwards
in the back, it's all there. This gone, this was the start of me
getting initially hooked, I don't know. I wish he was here to see everything
that's happened with me and my dad and-
>> He all he has, trust me. He's been there. He's been there all this time,
Vicki confirmed it by saying that he is so proud of you and what you have done. [SOUND] This has been
WWE Throwback Thursday with dice up. >> And tune in for
SummerSlam this Saturday.
