me [Music] [Music] [Music] is [Music] [Music] away jesus is a brand watch his day and night i go to him in prayer cause he knows my every care just a little talk with jesus let us tell them all about hallelujah thank you lord hallelujah glory be to god thank you lord thank you lord i'm glad i can talk to jesus anytime i want to no matter what we go through we know that god is in control we don't understand the things we have to deal with sometimes but god is in control and that's the only thing that makes a difference is god is in control glory be to god hallelujah i thank you lord you're that you come and be in service with us tonight amen praise god i looked up and there was sister quanah amen thank god for it [Applause] amen they said they called me the other day and said she's really sick and uh i was there with my knee all propped up and i was trying to get a hold of family and all that and you just look you look like you feel pretty good thank god for it thank god for it amen praise god now listen closely please if you'll notice tonight there wasn't preachers all over the house moving among the congregation that's because me and the preachers were working on something i want to give you some scripture in james the fifth chapter james chapter five it says is any sick among you let him call for the elders of the church let them pray over him anointing him with all in the name of the lord and the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the lord shall raise him up and if he have committed sin they shall be forgiven him now that's both a physical or a spiritual touch but the bible said let them call for the elders of the church now what i am fixing to do and make a change here is to give a safety net for those for people to come in this church without feeling like a grain of corn in a chicken yard see what i mean amen i don't want a visitor to come and feel like that we're fixing all just okay now i asked some of these preachers i said now i remember how long it took you to get in church and really get the goods and they said it took a while i said if we hadn't just gone and surrounded you it would have embarrassed you and run you off they said yes sir it would have well guess what this is a hindrance to revival god showed me as a hindrance to revival in this church we have awesome ministry here but we are going to change something now you say well i brought a visitor to church okay do you know or or i have a family member that i brought to church do you know you can get by with praying for them when we cannot do you understand that okay so that puts something on you just wait on us amen now here's what we're going to do every service at one point in the service we're going to ask you if you want to be prayed for and if you come forward then you're the grain of corn and we're going to pray for you he and he and he going to pray for you there will be times myself as a pastor that i know certain situations and i will kind of ease back uh so sister doris you've got a family member uh this just right just hanging around the edges right now i don't want to run her off you see what i'm saying amen and and we got some precious uh visitors we don't want to run them we want them to come back amen and so what what we're going to do is we're going to make a change tonight and for the benefit of and and i know this is on live stream uh without calling names we have a precious husband that's coming to this church right now he could be easily run off if we're not careful so we've got to be we have got to be use some wisdom here okay so but however however i do give blessing for this man to ease back where you are and he will if if he feels led to pray for you he will come up and ask you can i pray for you if you say i don't feel comfortable with that or no he's going to back off and say god bless you see see what i'm saying we're using wisdom here you've got to call for it you've got to you've got to want it you get more out of it if you call for it amen now there's something else somebody said well i don't feel comfortable in coming up front and asking for prayer like that well honey all you got to do is wave your hand or sin word by somebody i'd like you all to pray for me and we found the grain of corn we'll come where you are you don't have to necessarily have to come up here for prayer amen if you want to be prayed for and you're not uncomfortable uh comfortable uh coming up front then ask for prayer for where you are and we will come back and pray for you and in saying all of that in saying all of that we're going to ask anybody that would like prayer tonight or whatever kind of need that you have if you want prayer amen come forward or or whatever or ask somebody to come back amen if you want prayer tonight if there's none of you come up here we're moving on amen if you need prayer amen there's one precious sister is there any let's let's all stand make this more comfortable on everybody i mean we're not we're not done with the worship service amen praise god i'm just i'm just setting this order here comes another precious sister needing need a prayer here comes another one amen see her five-month-old great knees flipped out of a baby swing and they think that she broke her neck they were air flighting her to tulsa and she needs prayer for the baby she's gonna stand in for that don't know you know i want to pray for somebody and i'm glad he did that because it gives me assurance that he lets me know what i need to do he gives me the guidance and the counsel that i need and i need to follow my man of god because the church divided it will not be saved i thank god for my man of god i can't speak for everybody else but i'm gonna tell you what if you only make heaven you better follow your man of god because if not you're doing it wrong and i thank god for my man of god and our first lady because that's where it starts at that's why this church is here today because they obeyed god and they came here and now they're leading us to heaven thank god for our people [Music] [Music] is [Applause] [Music] is [Music] he brought me out of darkness head to his father's [Music] is through the lord glory we're gonna go ahead and change order to the service praise god you may be seated tonight amen let me say this you know good and well there's some times that some of you have held back from worshipping because you knew there would be people that would run over there to you you know i'm right so we're going to change it a little bit and uh brother davis brought up something that his church does that is uh would be excellent we're we're going to ask if anybody wants to come up for prayer but that does not mean you may walk in the door and say i need prayer now and you don't have to wait at any time during the service if you want prayer you're more than welcome to ask for it amen i'm just i'm just opening the doors for visitors to be able to come in and everybody not swarm them amen praise god give people an opportunity to raise their hands without being crowded i really feel like some of you will open up a little bit more if we if we open the door for that or for the opportunity for you just to worship let tears stream down your face and stuff without people crowding you amen that's right amen now if if your mama brought you to church she's going to pray with you amen or your cousin or whatever praise god so we're just we're just going to do a little different around here so amen in decently and in order praise god and i appreciate these ministers working with me we covered a lot of bases and they know a lot of reasons why that we are doing this amen there's a lot of reasons why we're doing this and we talk i talk to them about it things that you that you won't know but uh we want this church to grow i said we want it to grow praise god we are going into summertime and uh people and and and i know the covet thing is still uh going on out there i understand that but uh a lot of people been in lock-in for almost a year scared to death to do anything and now they're kind of getting to where they're not is so scared so the last thing on their mind is church and uh it's it's i and i know that you folks are working hard to get folks to church i know that and god bless you for that and you say well they hadn't come well we're not going to stop we're not going to stop reaching praise god somebody didn't give up on you or me praise god amen god bless each of you that come up for prayer tonight amen love you very much i mean god's a good god to us amen well i'm sure i don't think at all that it would bother this uh preacher if if he was preaching his heart out and you just you just said i need prayer now well you know what you know why we preach we preach for results we preach for you to get touched amen hallelujah and i think that would excite him praise god that somebody actually got what he said [Laughter] praise god but uh let me say that uh we sure certainly certainly appreciate uh the effort that went into the uh dinner last night and uh sister katie and myself bo fought sister mary that it wasn't gonna do but you know two to three hundred maybe well that spaghetti dinner did 541. amen thank god for it 81 oh 40 more 581 amen thank god for it you said well that covered revival yeah about 1300 from it but it's that helped i said that helped tremendously so uh we uh we are going to we're going to have revival and then we'll it'll get took care of so they got another thing or two scheduled down the road here but uh we do appreciate brother davis and uh what god is doing through him and uh i wish there were more folks come out to hear him but you know what well there's not even very many online views right now amen i heard i heard a pastor i've heard a pastor say the other day how few they had in church and i was like thank god for how many we got so amen but we are very thankful for each of our visitors and the home folks that are so faithful god bless you we do have a several out tonight but let's let's pray for them amen we're going to ask brother davis to come well no we need to take up an offering and he's our offering taker i pray all right so this offering will go to continue to help pay for the revival brother jimmy if you'll come this evening take up a monday night offering don't get to say that very often please remember we will be having service tomorrow evening and wednesday evening at 6 30 prayer meeting song service at seven o'clock i'm continuing revival with brother davis after last week and so looking forward to good things that the lord is doing in this church we have a few more flyers here on the pulpit if anybody has run out of those or would like to take some more to pass out there's just a few left up here so please let us know i'm also remember that we have our church has been called on to help take care of the devotionals at the baptist village in hugo so that will start on the 25th of this month and then our church will be responsible for the first and the fourth sunday of each month handling that so part of what they ask is that we only send five people or less at a time because the um because the what's it called covid um and the nurse in home still has some covert restrictions i got myself all almost at funeral home y'all and i i cracked myself up so the nursing home is still under restrictions and so we can only send five at a time or less um pastor pickard want to make sure that we understood that doesn't just mean the preachers you know they said that for that 20 to 30 minute devotional it can be people that testify it can be people that lead them in songs anything that we can do to go and minister to those people in that situation amen so um brother thomas and um sister melissa uh brother john and sister jennifer have agreed to take the first sunday for our church which will be on the 25th and if it is a funeral home bring all you want they will catch that right so um but we do have the first sunday the 25th this month covered so if that's something that your family would be interested in or if there's somebody else in the church where you could you know partner up with some other people five or less then please let us know we're gonna start making a list and have that topped up and printed out kind of like we do the cleaning list so that we can keep running record and make sure we don't skip a sunday um after they've called on us to do that so you can let sister pick it or myself know and we'll start adding to that list anybody that is willing to participate in that ministry so we appreciate all of that like pastor pickard said the effort that's going into this services are you excited about what god is about to do in this place amen amen before i get into the message i just had a song on my heart and i just wanted to uh to bring up an old song uh many of us has probably heard it time and time again and uh just wanted to to share what was on my heart tonight all alone and brokenhearted trying to calm the raging battle in my mind in search for many answers that my troubled heart just couldn't seem to find then i saw a flower blooming and i knew that this flower would change the rest of my life [Music] i found a place to leave my burden [Music] i found refuge from the storm a place where i could trade my dark skies for blooming rays of sunshine i found a lily in my valley and it blooms all the time all alone and broken-hearted trying to calm the raging battle in my mind [Music] in search for many answers that my troubles are just couldn't seem to find oh then i saw a flower blooming where there was no rain or sunshine and i knew this was the flower that would change the rest of my life [Music] i found a lily in my valley i found refuge from the storm i found a place to leave my burden [Music] i found refuge from the soul [Music] a place you jesus hallelujah hallelujah thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus if you will turn in your bibles tonight to numbers chapter 13 and i'm going to begin to read in verse 30. and thank you so much for standing for the reading of the word i am thankful to be here again for another night of revival i am excited about what god is about to do in this place and i didn't realize what was going to go on tonight but god did and so god already gave me a word of what was going to be uh spoken and so i'm just going to add to hallelujah so in numbers chapter 13 and begin in verse 30 and it says and caleb stealed the people before moses and said let us go up at once and possess it for we are well able to overcome it but the man the men that went up with him said we are not able to go up against the people for they are stronger than we and they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of israel saying the land through which we have gone to search it is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof and all the people that we saw in it were men a great statue and they uh and there we saw giants the sons of anak which come uh other giants and we were in our own site as grasshoppers and so we were in their sight let's pray heavenly father we come before you right now and we thank you for your grace and your mercy we thank you lord for the service that's already been uh going forth and the spirit of god that is in this place we ask you lord right now to let our minds be focused on you hallelujah and help us lord to receive what you have for us tonight in the mighty name of jesus we pray and everyone say amen you may be seated thank you so much like i said for standing for the reading of the word it's it's uh it's very important for we all of us to respect the word of god hallelujah and i'm thankful for that well according to our text tonight we were reading uh where that the children of israel they were going to go into the promised land they were going to go into uh into canaan that god had promised the israelites when they came out of egypt and so when they began to go out they sent the bible tells us moses sent out spies to spy out the land and while they were spying out the land they were looking at everything that was uh there they were looking at all of the grapes and the milk and the honey and and everything else and then they begin to look at the inhabitants there they begin to see the giants and the men of great statue those that maybe had big muscles or whatever and they were tall in statue they were they were great men at that time and so when they came back to bring the report unto the children of israel the bible tells us that caleb he stood up and he basically said we are able to go and take the land he was basically uh following after the the words of the lord and having faith that god said i'm going to give you this promise i'm going to give you this promise it's yours for the taking all you got to do is go and possess the land but the thing is is that as they were as he was sharing uh what he uh believed to the children of israel then they had the other spies that came up and they said oh no we can't do this because they are of great statue there are giants there and we are grasshoppers in their sight now the bible doesn't say that they were lying they were telling the truth but god's word tells us they were saying an evil report now what i want to share with you tonight is that sometimes we may come to church or we may uh have a situation in our life and so uh because of that situation we look at it and we dissect it and we uh we notice all the little attributes of it and we say well uh god promised that he would give us healing but i don't know if he can do it for me and so because you're looking at the circumstances and i'm not just talking about healing i'm talking about anything and everything in our life sometimes we go through things and maybe we have a financial struggle or we have a a situation on the job or situation with family and we look at it and we're like i don't know if god can really give us what he promised us because i'm looking at this situation and so even though you may uh tell exactly the details of that situation god's looking it as an evil report so when you go to like a family reunion and you're sitting there seeing your family there and and you think that well they're not going to church they're not living for god and and i don't know you know i see everything that they're doing but yet i i just can't see them being in church but yet god said that if you ask anything in my name i will do it hallelujah you've got to begin to not speak the things as though they are and begin to speak things as though they could be hallelujah sometimes we need to take a step back and take a look at what god is seeing and not what we see because sometimes these eyes right here can stop a miracle sometimes these eyes right here can stop the flow of god from flowing through me or flowing through you into somebody else because i'm looking with these eyes instead of looking through the eyes of god and the promises that he's given to us hallelujah so we read as far as on in scripture that how that these men because the children of israel decided to believe the rest of the spies instead of joshua and caleb then they spent 40 years wandering around in the wilderness because of their evil report even though it was the truth so what i'm sharing with you is this sometimes we may be walking this walk of life and we may be seeing everything that's inside and because we're not looking through the eyes of god and seeing what possibility could happen we sit there and cause ourselves to have a setback and we don't get what god promised us until maybe time later on down the road and so then we see as far as uh uh you know joshua uh when joshua the bible tells us in uh joshua chapter six and you begin to read there that how that they went to jericho and they began to uh the lord spoke to him and he said this uh in in verse 2 and it says and the lord said unto joshua see that i have given into thy hand jericho and the king thereof and the mighty men of valor the mighty men that were in that city i'm going to give them to you and then he says and you shall come past the city all ye men of war and go around about the city once thus shalt thou do six days and then the seventh uh the seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of ram's horn and the seventh day you shall come past the city seven times and the priest shall blow the trumpets and it shall come to pass that when they have a loud blast of the round's horn and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet all the people shall shout with us great shout and the walls of the city shall fall flat and the people shall ascend up every man up right before him now so where in there do you see silence it's nowhere in there everything i read is exactly what god has spoken unto joshua but if you go down to verse 10 it says in joshua when he began to command the people he said ye shall not shout nor make any noise with your voice neither shall you any word proceed out of your mouth until until the day that i bid you shout so in other words he already experienced what happened when they were supposed to go into the promised land and how that the people because of their voices because of what they spoke even though it was right it was an evil thought it was the evil report and so joshua said you're not going to speak evil on this report i want you to be quiet nobody should talk nobody's to say anything until until we begin to shout until i say it's time to shout so what i'm saying is this sometimes if you don't know exactly how to say it you might want to keep your mouth shut you might want to sit there and say nothing hallelujah i don't know about this situation but you know what i'm going to keep my hands off of it i'm not going to say anything about it i'm not going to say anything about my family member that may be coming against me i'm not going to say anything about this person or this situation on this job i'm going to keep my mouth shut and i'm going to get into prayer and i'm going to seek god and i'm going to look for direction and i'm going to know that with a shadow of a doubt that god is going to come in he's going to intervene and move in this situation because he's already promised it to me oh hallelujah now so when i was 17 years old been raised in church all my life my dad built 39 churches he was a minister of the gospel and i was a i was a young kid i was i was very mean being a preacher's kid i would do things that you know i don't want to tell you [Laughter] because i'm very embarrassed but the thing is is that i was a bad person and when i was 17 i i was frustrated i was upset i saw so much garbage and stuff going on in the churches that we would visit or or my past my dad would minister or whatever and people would come against him and all this other stuff would happen and i saw and i'm like i don't want to have a part of this i don't want nothing to do with this and i even told i told many people i said when i turn 18 i'm out of here i'm never coming back never i don't want to have a part of this because i don't think i mean if that bible is real they're not living it and so i was focused on people instead of focused on god but then one day i was i was hanging clothes for my mom out on the clothes line uh you know some people don't do that anymore but i was hanging clothes on the clothes line and while i was sitting there and just hanging these clothes i heard someone call my name and i turned around and i looked and i'm like no one was around and i went up to the house where we had a house on the hill and i went up there and i i began to ask my sisters i got three sisters they're younger than me and they didn't call my name my mom was there and i asked her she didn't call my name and my dad wasn't there at all so there was no one else that was around we lived out in the country and i mean there's woods all the way around us and i mean it was on a farm and everything else and there was just nobody there and so i went back to hanging up close and uh i'm sitting there and i'm like hanging up close just doing you know what i'm supposed to be doing and all of a sudden i heard somebody call my name again and i turned around looking i'm like this is weird and went back to the house and my mom was still set in the same place my sisters were still in their room playing with dolls and stuff and i'm like what in the world's going on this is weird and every one of them said i didn't call you and i'm like okay they must be playing a joke so i went back and was finished hanging up close and as i was hanging up close again i heard my name called again and so i'm like man i must be going crazy or something and i just ignored it and left it alone and i continued until i was finished well that sunday my dad decided that uh you know he was driving down the road and he saw a church and uh he said that he felt like that he needed to go to that church on that sunday morning and so we all loaded up we got in the car and we went to this church we never been there before and it was a country church and and uh it was a it was a pentecostal church and uh when i got there uh of course you know i was it was let me just say we was the only white people in the whole church and so you know my dad we always made a set on the very front row and so we came up i said on the front row and the pastor got up and he took the microphone after they done their singing and everything and he said you know what he said i'm glad to have uh prophet leslie here and he's going to minister for us and he's from louisiana and so he turned around gave the mic to him and he got the mic and then he came right down on the front row right where i was at and spoke to me and said young man god was trying to speak to you this week he spoke to you three times like you've done samuel if you'll turn your life over to god god will use you in a mighty way oh my goodness i was shaken up here i was i was ready to leave and walk away from church and everything else i didn't want to have a part of it anymore and so here it is god's speaking to me and this man comes down confirms it and nobody in my family knew about it and so i began to seek for the holy ghost i began to come to the altar and uh i had sought for the holy ghost many times before but uh you know as a child i got baptized you know five or six years old and i i would go to the altar many times but i just couldn't really just get the holy ghost and so when i got when i received this from this this man of god then i began to seek the holy ghost and because i knew this was this was real this was real and so i began to seek the lord and and every time altar was called i mean i was in the altar i was seeking the holy ghost but then after a while i got frustrated and i'm like you know obviously i'm not going to get it and so then i i just quit going to the altar and i know many of us we've all got frustrated right because we didn't get what we needed or or we didn't get something that we wanted and so here i was i was in the same situation i didn't get the holy ghost and i'm sitting there thinking maybe it's not real it's not what for me or or whatever you know and so anyhow one afternoon uh i laid down in my bed and as i was laying there in the bed went to sleep i had a dream and in this dream i saw the clouds and they were everywhere it's beautiful there was a couple hills here and there it was a nice feel it was it was really nice and then all of a sudden it got completely dark and i couldn't see nothing and i looked up and i saw a light coming and it was coming fast and i was like it was so bright that i couldn't hardly see and had to put my hand up over my eyes a little bit and then all of a sudden i saw something that really got me i saw angels on both sides and a throne and some feet and i knew oh my goodness this is the rapture and i turned around and began to run and when i ran it's like every mountain every tree everything vanished it was nothing but an open field and i ran till i couldn't run no more and i fell on my knees and i began weeping and crying said god forgive me give me another chance and i woke up in the middle of my bed with my pillow all wet and soaking and everything and i was sitting there praying i said god thank you for another chance thank you for another chance and so at that time i began to go back to the altar every single time i got a chance to seek god for the holy ghost i need god i gotta have persistence in my life to reach out and get what god had for me hallelujah and so there for a while things every time i went to the altar it seemed like nothing would happen and i i went to a south carolina account meeting and while i was there in count meeting uh this i came up to the altar like i normally done every single service and and i was sitting there praying and the preacher came down and he's like uh he said son stop praying stop praying i'm like okay he said what's wrong with you i'm like i don't know what you're talking about he said turn around and look and i turned around and when i turned around and looked there was many people that were laying out on the on the carpet on the ground and he said you see that every one of them came up here to lay hands on you and pray for you and the power of god is all over you and they fell out under the unction of the holy ghost he said the holy ghost is all over you all you got to do is open your hearts and allow him to fill you and so i still didn't know how to yield i didn't know how to do that so all that night i prayed we went back to the dormitory with the men's dormitory and i prayed all night long and i still seemed like i couldn't just break through something was stopping me i didn't know what to do and so then we came back home and there in georgia and uh our pastor had said that we have a a man of god that's coming and he is a man known of prayer and he can be in the restaurant and he can be sitting there eating his food and all of a sudden he just feels like a need to pray and so he would get down right there in the restaurant and begin to pray until he felt a release and he and he said if you need anything from god this man can help you get that and i said okay i'm coming and i'm going to talk to this man and so he preached the first message and i came up afterwards and i said hey i want the holy ghost and he said okay this is what i want you to do i want you to fast all day tomorrow then after that i want you to come and sit on the front row and he said uh god's gonna fill you with the holy ghost so the next day i'd done exactly what he asked me to do i fasted all day long and then i came to church and i sat on the very front row and he got up and he preached his message and everything and and he done an altar call and i thought well he done forgot me and so i'm sitting there and and then he turned around to this man he's one of the ministers he said uh he said i want you to go and i want you to pray for this young man because laying on his hands god can fill him with the holy ghost by doing that and so that man came down and he laid hands on me right where i was at and began to pray for me and nothing happened then one of the elders elder ladies of the church she felt like that i needed to go over and get into the prayer line that this man of god had started over here he'd got all the other ministers here and they had a prayer line and they was going through the prayer line and so i said okay and i went over and i got in that prayer line and as i was in that prayer line there was another person in front of me uh and she was fixing to go into the the line where all these men were at and so uh i was right there and i said god if this is real i need it today i don't want to go anywhere without it today but if this is not real and i don't get the holy ghost tonight i'm going to leave and i'm never coming back never and so it was my time and i got right here and all of these ministers began to pray for me and next thing i know i was picking myself up off the floor speaking in a heavenly language that i've never learned before hallelujah the power of god came all over me hallelujah but what i'm saying is this you got to have some persistence hallelujah if you need something from god you got to be persistent you can't stop you can't stop if you need the holy ghost you got to come up here and keep seeking for it keep reaching for it if you need healing in your body you gotta keep pressing for it so like some of you that came up for prayer today if you didn't get what you needed keep coming keep coming until you get what you need from god hallelujah i was reminded of the woman that came to jesus and she said she said jesus my daughter is vexed with a devil he ignored her the bible tells us and then she kept on and the disciples was like send her away she said will you please help me and jesus said it's not for me to give meat to the dog so she called he called her a dog in other words but she said even the dogs and they take the scraps off the table when you really want something from god you're going to reach out even if it's something as little as a crumb you're going to keep pushing and you're going to keep pushing because his promises is for us today he has promised us in the word hallelujah that we can have it if we just ask him and seek him and knock for it hallelujah when that door opens for you hallelujah i'm reminded also how that when we are praying sometimes we don't understand why things don't happen when we want them to to happen and so i was i was praying and god began to show me some things and and i realized that sometimes prayer is like paying a bill you go to the grocery store and you pull your money out and you pay the bill and you can walk away with your groceries sometimes you come up for prayer and you ask god for something instantaneously you receive it i remember praying for a lady up in oklahoma city and and uh she came up and was asking for prayer and i said what do you what do you need prayer for i ask that because it's important to know what i'm supposed to pray for because if i pray for just anything i don't know if she needs anything i need to know what she needs and so i asked her what do you need prayer for and she said i have a pain in my side i said okay i'm going to pray for that and i said did you go to the doctor she said no she said i don't know why it's it's there i said okay no problem we'll take care of that pain laid my hand on her and i said in jesus name i command this pain to leave this body in jesus name and instantaneously she said wow it's gone and then she later came back to me and she told me something that i i was like wow this was this is so cool but she told me when i laid my hand on her and i began to pray for her she said she felt something come out of my hand down her forehead down the side of her face down the side of her body to where that pain was then that pain left now i'm nobody i'm nothing but i've learned something and that's what i want to share with you and that is that when you spend much time in prayer and fasting it like builds virtue inside of you so when you are praying for somebody or when you are seeking god for something that virtue will begin to build up until it's ready to be released and to do exactly what it needs to do now to give you another example i was uh i was sitting in golden corral and i was there with one of my my kids and we were sitting there i'd already got my food and everything from the bar and i was sitting at the table and i had a fork in my hand and already had food on the fork and i was about to take a bite and as i was sitting there at the table this lady come walking by and she had a walker and god had ministered to me and led me to go over to her and to tell her that if she'll come to church that god would heal her and so i dropped my fork i went over there i said ma'am i don't know who you are i don't know nothing about what's going on in your body or nothing like that but i really felt impressed to let you know that god that god wants to heal you if you'll come to church tonight god will heal you she said okay she took the church card well so that night she went home she told her husband she said i met this man at golden corral and he's i want to go see you know i want to go to this church and he's like man what no i'm not taking my wife to see another man he was thinking flesh and so she turned called her next door neighbor and she said hey can you take me to this church and she said absolutely so her next-door neighbor came and picked her up and brought her to church that night well when she came in church she didn't set anywhere in the middle she came all the way up front and she sat right here in the very front and so i was up on the pulpit and i saw her and i'm like praise god she's here god's going to do something for well i didn't tell anybody else what happened but sister dabs sister dabz is a uh is married to uh brother dabs who is a missionary to thailand and so he was there uh that their family is out of the church there in oklahoma city and so she was over here and and i'm i'm gonna tell you this woman she's she she's she's different okay she's from canada and so uh during service while preachers going on or whatever she would sit there and uh if she gets hungry well she had some little uh uh uh cheerios you know that she gave her kids and she sat there and be eating right there in church so anyhow she felt impressed that she needed to come over and pray for this lady she came over while worship was going on while the singing and praise was going on she came over and she knelt down and she began to pray for this woman's legs she didn't know what i said she didn't know anything about what i said but she continued right there praying through the whole entire praise and worship and then when the preacher got up and preached she stayed right there she continued to pray and to uh to pray for this woman and by the end of service when the preacher called the altar call and she sat there and she stood up and she looked at the lady and and the lady looked at her and it's like oh my goodness and she got up and began to walk by herself without the walker [Applause] and then what was amazing is that right after that she went back home without her walker she left the walker at the church and she went back home and told her husband but before i get to the that part let me share this what i'm saying is is that sister dab spent basically all service praying for her it wasn't instantaneous it took all service and then something happened so what i'm saying is is that doesn't matter whether you pray one time or you pray continually until something happens what matters is is that you have faith to believe that god can and he can do it whenever so just to kind of tell you the rest of the story so she went back home to her husband and she sat there walking in without her walker and everything and her husband was like wow this is cool i got to go meet this man and so he came to church and he met me and we got into bible study and uh while we was in the bible study uh one day he uh he got uh to church on a wednesday night and he told me he said brother daniel i need prayer i'm like okay what's wrong he said well i was at work today and he worked in a warehouse where there was pallets and one of the pallets uh kind of got him or whatever and wedged him between two pallets and it cracked his ribs and he said i went to the doctor they said my ribs are cracked there's nothing they can do for me except give me pain medicine and wrap me up and he said i'm in so much pain but i knew that if i come to church tonight that god would heal me and he said i want you to pray for me i said absolutely i said in jesus name and i began to pray for him and i commanded the pain to leave his body and uh afterwards i said okay did that work and he said oh no i still feel pain every breath that i breathe i still felt pain i'm like okay and so i began to pray and i'm not recommending this at all i'm not recommending this at all just letting you know i'm not recommending this at all i felt the holy ghost and god basically i mean i hit him in the chest i don't recommend that but you know i don't know why that happened but i hit him in the chest when i did instantaneously he said the pain is gone now i can't tell you why that happened that way i just don't know i don't like i said i don't normally do that but that happened anyhow he left i told him i said you need to go back to the doctor and get checked out he said oh no he said i don't have any pain i'm not going to waste any more money i'm not going back to doctor and i said well that's between you and god amen so about two or three weeks later he come bringing somebody else in one of his co-workers had also got wedged in between a uh two pilots and basically broke his shoulder and so he came in and said i need i need healing on my shoulder and i said okay no problem he told me what happened i prayed for him instantaneously god healed him that's three people that god healed and touched and they're in the church now if i sit right there and i just ate my food and i'm like i don't know about that and i didn't do anything then they would have never been touched and they never would have been in the church now so go back to my message sometimes prayers are answered when it's like a car payment or a house payment sometimes you need to pray and pray and make those payments and make those payments and make those payments and make those payments until you see it happen so i share with you a testimony of instantaneously and it took a little bit of time but then you know you got other people that i have seen and no doubt many of you have seen that you sit there and you continually pray for them and pray for them and pray for them and it seems like nothing happens and you're right there on the brink and you're like oh i guess it's not going to happen so you stop praying and so you back away and then they never come but what would happen if you actually made that next payment right there you know i have a daughter that is uh that's in high school right now she's uh this is her last year of school and so a couple of months ago she decided she she's 18 years old and she's not going to do any more school and she's like i hate school i don't want to do it anymore and i'm like look you are so close a couple months away and you graduate and you're done but sometimes we all get weary we don't see what's ahead and what i'm sharing with you is that god if you can if you stop praying if you stop pushing you stop having uh that faith that god can do it then you could probably stop yourself from having the greatest revival that you've ever seen you got to keep pressing you got to keep pushing you got to keep pressing you got to keep pushing you got to keep praying you gotta keep fasting you gotta seek god move in your life hallelujah you gotta keep pushing if you quit then what's gonna happen so if you remember i talked about virtue how that virtue the more you pray the more it builds up inside of you you know and i heard an elder say less prayer less power more prayer more power and that's truth when you want anointing in your life you want a closer wall with god get into prayer let god reach down and talk to you and help you and lead you and guide you if you don't want to have that power flowing through you then stop don't do it at all you know i'm reminded of in genesis chapter four when uh the bible tells us that adam and eve had cain and abel and how that cain uh basically was a tiller of the ground and abel was a keeper of the flock and how that they both offered sacrifices unto the lord and so we know as far as the the purpose of the lamb the lamb was the only thing that could actually uh push sins away and so that was the lamb was what god required and so there was a sacrifice there it was a life that was given but with the the fruits and vegetables that king offered to the lord there was not much work there there was not much sacrifice and so god rejected his sacrifice and then he gave him the opportunity to make things right but instead uh you know he he got jealous he got jealous of his brother because his brother was accepted and he was not just because your brother gets a blessing and you don't does not mean that you can't get it you can still get it you can still get the promise but you got to make sure that you line up in whatever god wants you to line up with so that you can get what you need to get but so many of us we either get chalice we get uh dissatisfied we get upset because we're not getting it and we begin to walk away and we don't get what god promises to us we need to hold on to the faith that god has given to us and the promise that he's given it's yours for the taking but you've got to be in position to receive it and you've got to continue pushing you've got to continue pressing because if you don't then you can't get it so with me you know receiving the holy ghost it changed my life it changed my life and i saw that right here myself before as came i was not giving to god everything that god required of me i only wanted to give him what i wanted to give him and that's why i didn't receive the holy ghost until i was 17 years old until i continually to push and i was willing to give everything over to god i was king but now i want to be an able i want to give him everything that he asked of me everything if it means sleepless nights if it means being on my knees in prayer if it means me going around the world no matter what it is i want to be i want to go i want to do whatever that god requires of me i've got to have him i've got to have him hallelujah so my question tonight for you is this which one are you are you a cain or are you an abel are you going to give to god what god requires or are you only going to give to god what you think he deserves or what you think he should have oh i'm going to come to the altar and i'm just going to pray and i'm just going to lay down something and just run him back and do nothing i'm i'm going to maybe get into prayer meeting a little bit or read the word a little bit and then just leave it alone and just go on my way i'm not going to witness on my job i'm not going to witness to my family i've tried that and it failed i've tried to do that but it doesn't do any good i've tried to get into prayer and seek god and and see if there's a change that i can have but for some reason i just can't find it so my question to you is which one are you are you a king are you only going to give to god what you think god should have or are you going to be an able give to god what he requires what he asks for let's all stand i was a king i didn't give to god what he wanted and that's why i was in the position i was in but then i changed and become that able so tonight god wants to move in whatever situation that you may be going through whatever problem you have if you need healing god's here to heal you don't stop pushing if you need the holy ghost don't stop seeking because he's right here and this could be your service if you need a touch on the job something in the job situation all you gotta do is keep asking god can change it he can give you a better job even a pay raise but you gotta look at what god sees and not what you see tonight could be your night hallelujah hallelujah let's all begin to talk to the lord right now hallelujah god i know that many times i have not given to you exactly everything that you ask of me and i'm asking you lord to help me to align my heart to you hallelujah help me lord jesus to be exactly what you want me to be hallelujah god i have children that's lost right now if it's my fault god forgive me and help me lord jesus to be the light that shines that brings them back to the house of god hallelujah i'm praying for their soul i'm praying for their souls in jesus name in jesus name i'm not going to stop i'm not going to stop reaching i'm not going to stop preaching i need to see my promise come back to pass hallelujah the altars are open if you feel like you need to pray hallelujah if you need somebody to pray with you hallelujah all you gotta do is let us know and we'll be glad to pray with you hallelujah god wants to do something in your life tonight god wants to help push you and propel you into that realm where that he can bless you god wants to minister to you right now in the name of jesus but you got to keep pushing you got to keep pressing you got to keep going as much as you possibly can until you get what you need from god hallelujah hallelujah i've got to have you lord watching online and said thank you for talking to the church and doing things decently in an order in helping said because i was raised of the catholic faith and when i was swarmed in an apostolic pentecostal church said i became so frustrated i had to get it at home i don't want that to have to happen here praise god amen we're not going to get some gunshot we're afraid to pray for somebody that's not what this is about amen just we're going to work on it just hang on don't don't get flustered we're going to work on it amen we're going to wait till after he's gone we're going to shout the next couple nights hallelujah and some of y'all just afraid to shout well why don't you instead of pray for somebody else you just jump for joy yourself boy i wish i could jump for joy i might come tomorrow night feeling like well my no no i have to go home home with my wife i'm not gonna i'm not gonna jump nothing [Laughter] she's over mumbling something what'd you say he wants to make sure it's god even he's been preaching faith for a week and a half and here here they're wondering whether it's god or not amen but uh we thank you brother davis for preaching to us tonight amen praise god and i know [Applause] i've seen how tired some of you were tonight uh between nods amen i'm tired too i mean i'm tired [Laughter] but you know what i don't know i couldn't hang with this guy he stays up half when he gets done preaching then he goes and teaches bible studies to kenyan people half the night then he works a job and he comes back and does it again i just what happened to the van you showed up in the car you went all the way to oklahoma city lord have mercy i thought you just go an hour and a half away oh how do you say he left him he left in a van came back with a car tomorrow he may come back with a mercedes amen the next night with a motorhome amen praise god uh brother shade i'm gonna let you dismiss them but my leg my knees up here just doing all kinds of talking to me so dismissal man um real quick my mom just left but she stood in prayer for a little girl while ago and they thought the little girl i guess had broken her neck or something um she they got a text message from her aunt and the little girl is sitting up playing with the nurses they're still running they're still running a few tests on her but it seems like everything's fine but still continue to pray for complete healing in her body but as of right now she's sitting up playing with the nurses so praise the lord five-month-old baby that had fallen out of a swing they thought had broken her neck and now she's sitting up praying with the nurse says man that's the that's the power of prayer right there and so that's what the evangelist was preaching to us about this that's the kind of faith we've got to leave with here and share with the world amen so uh please please remember we are going to continue this tomorrow night 6 30 prayer meeting song service at seven o'clock and
