During the Second Punic War, the Republican Romans used just five kinds of soldier, LindyBeige describes them and their roles (with some minor rambling).
He gets into equipment and tactics and the class differences between these soldiers and how these classes would typically occupy certain lines when in formation.
The video is pretty long, but quite informative.
I find him knowledgeable and entertaining in a British RP-sort of way, but I always wonder about his collar.
This is great, learning about the Punic Wars in my Roman Republic class.
