[Music] hello everyone and welcome for a new tutorial today we're gonna make a tray a raisin tray I'm gonna use the mrs. color berry resin the resin for art if you want to order it's on her website or if you are from Canada or USA I will link everything in the description so we're gonna start by cutting some cloves and using I'm using drink up so yeah for this tray I'm gonna use three hundred of raisins so two hundred of resin in 100 of harder in 100 our dinner yeah this resin have a two-to-one ratio but it's you need to mix it by volume and not by weight so now I'm gonna use the Mixmaster it's silicone spatula really helpful to get a really good mix and you can hear you can scrape the edge of the cup to be sure the the hardener and the reason is perfectly mixed now I'm gonna mixed for three minutes and maybe thinking for putz and we're gonna have some dark do so teal here some white just a little bit of white and some gold gonna do equal part of dark blue until are they white the gold so now I can start cleaning this tissue paper and then with some alcohol Oh and then you can reuse respect sir death forever this part so now we're gonna mix our colors here so I'm gonna start by the by the dark blue this one is the cat midnight by missus color berry it's a powder you can see it's a dark blue I'm gonna use also the forever stick system plastic flexible sticks that you can reuse because there isn't one stick on it so you let the resin dry and you can reuse them here's something have my dark blue here I'm gonna put just a tiny bit of a gay blue Easter it's a different pigment it's the pigment paste it helps to get some effect and I like to have one color mixed with pigment paste and one color mixed with only pigment powder because it gives some special effects and it will lighten a little bit yeah yeah so now this color is done we're gonna make the teal color so this color I will only use the child pigment you're saying you don't need that much but I like my colors to be bright and open so convinced the quantities in use now you have a beautiful greenish I'm gonna now make my lights so it is to crystal white pigment paste from mrs. Colbert just just a little bit like this with the paste you can scrape the color in the edge of the truck to be sure your color is you can shake the opacity of it so my white is done and now we're gonna make some gold I'm gonna use the pale gold pigment aced also from yeah I'm gonna lose a good amount of this all my colors are done [Music] my gold is ready so we're back here and I'm gonna pour my colors the first two colors I'm gonna pour is the dark blue and teal blue so yeah what I like to use is a palette knife to play with my reason make it go just right above the edge of my tray like so so now I'm gonna pour my sealed I like to go over my to pigment with the palette knife will give some gorgeous effect you will see so with my ballot night I go I swipe my reason so now I'm gonna use my heat gun so I'm gonna play with the risen and see what effects I will have so now you can see here I got some cells forming between the two colors so now I'm gonna have some tiny strings like it just I'm gonna scrape over the resume like I'm gonna slightly move my gold with my heat gun [Applause] yeah for the final touch some white White's dreams just I like to play with my resin like so add some duct now I think I'm done don't overmix your resin in the tray because you will end up with a mess so I'm just gonna have some tiny dots of uh turquoise blue of teal blue sorry just because I like to add some ducks so we what came what you can also do is to have some dimension so I will use some alcohol and an old toothbrush so you put some how cold on the brush don't use too much okay here and lightly spray on the gold parts to create some little cells it's not a big difference but can have cells like this so it's done I'm gonna use a piece of cardboard and cover my piece you can check there any large dust with peak would peek but it's okay because I'm gonna put another layer of clear resin after this because I'm gonna had some golden details and put a clear layer on top so now I'm gonna cover my piece with an old cardboard and yeah that's it for today our risen is cured and we're back the second day the next day yeah so here you can see what how girl did just slightly sales just yes so I'm not that happy with gold here there's too much gold for me so I got tips for you to change the colors and making more transparent and more you get more depth in your resin art piece so this tips is to use inks so here I used mrs. Calipari links but you can use any links on top of the reason that if you do that you will need to to put another coat of resin to protect everything so let me show you I use a regular brush I'll put some blue here see yeah see you can change the color and add depth in your piece just by using ink here you can take a tissue paper and land your color see here I will also add some green so again have here cream here I put my green here and dab with my tissue paper some do and you can do this also on colors to change the tint of the colors to add some colors to a piece that you don't really like yeah you can play with inks and and change the colors and add some interesting effect in it so on this part too if you think you've had too much color you made a mistake you can go back and use alcohol to clean your resin and start over since my goal is not showing that much I've decided to have some gold details linings for this I'm using the common goal to cut gold it's the pigment powder gold pigment powder mixed with some binder and medium acrylic medium you can use a varnish and acrylic varnish or what do you what you can use the gel media something acrylic and transparent acrylic medium or varnish then you mix it with the gold pigment and you will have a great gold paint see really pigmented and yeah it's really better than than just regular gold paint and it costs less than gold things let me show you the result and can clearly see the the blue and the green ink here so obviously well we will need to put another coat of raising a clear coat of resin because you will see here the messy part and non shiny part it's not great and you will need to protect all the ink and gold you've had it so I will pour another coat of clear resin and and protect everything to have a beautiful finished training we're back it is day 3 now I've already put my second coat of resin a clear coat of finishing coat on my tray and now it's done I will need to wait three to four days before putting anything on it because the reason is not fully fully cured but yeah here is the result we have a really glossy flat resin on top here you can see Transparency the ink does to the gold and yes beautiful with like the sea the ways and I loved also the gold lines here in the Sun so yeah it is now finished I didn't film the second coat of racing because it's always the same thing is just a clear coat in the trade if you want to go further and learn how to achieve a perfect raising top coat on every surface like canvas wood board in a tray you can go now on my website I have a new guide for you it's a dawn level PDF of 20 pages yeah it's available in French and English I hope you have learned something new today in my tutorial feel free to share like and subscribe my video can you comment if you have any question or if you like my video it's always a pleasure to read you and see you soon for another video bye bye guys [Music] [Music] you
