Rebuilt My Entire E46 M3!

[Music] all right guys welcome to today's video it's thursday it's around dinner time and i just landed in new york to go pick up a car of mine a friend of mine is coming by the airport something cool and i should be here any minute yo peep the best car ever oh yeah dude i'm hopping i gotta make sure i capture this he's like oh i have no seatbelt i literally was like damn i'll drive this to work today there's also no ac he asked me what car i wanted to be picked up there's options you want to know the craziest thing i don't think i've ever been in an e36 it's not like a a drift car on a track oh really i think my first street experience in e36 this is like a pretty nice car i think it's turbo yeah s52 s32 turbo basic ish kit this guy had this kit for like the previous owner had it's in 2014. damn same kit and he bought from a previous customer of mine and then i got the whole car like three years ago before price got crazy and underneath it's like mint it needs loving but we're here is this technically new york city uh yeah sure you're in new york city you're yeah you're in new york city sure whatever the [ __ ] that means it's five boroughs you're in new york i guess so this dude's crazy i was playing an uber to your shop but he offered to pick me up gave me a choice of all these cars and of course i picked that there i didn't anticipate the traffic i guess because i don't i'm like oh it's 20 30 minutes from my house dude an hour of traffic to get here and no ac i'm hot boy i'm high well i appreciate the service it'll be worth it let's go right red light all right let's see what this baby does over here i said i'm ready but there's a red light i can't it gets down i can't shift crazy fast with this show i'm an anti-short shifter guy on bmw's well these these transmissions are like 5 000 now oh sorry but yeah so we'll wait till we have more room but it's like this short shifter and the clutch disengages really low on the floor so the combination makes it really hard to like shift properly see like if i money shift it now or a box no it does not do that yeah you see i told you bro it's not good it gets down this has got to make 500. it should make 500 hair wrench we're going to do this again on this like the this is the better one there's really street racing stuff this is all like some old-ass flip tires i can feel it it moves bro it's like dumb rich all right so i gotta kind of tell you the story now that's my radio i won't show me your radio code yo cops i'm not worried so if you remember my last trip up to connecticut i was so excited to drive my e46 and then the clutch failed like within an hour of driving at first so i lost motivation but i knew that jordan was near yes i i had a feeling so you mentioned oh the car breaks i'll just send to jordan and it was like oh my car is broken yeah i was like that's fine whatever and then we did a lot more if jordan's shop wasn't up here i probably would have sadly sent the car back to florida never got to enjoy it up in connecticut so jordan was willing to take challenge i knew i'd be back here for the clean culture event and he basically rebuilt the entire car but he'll uh he'll tell you everything yeah i've always did we'll go over it all in a second i think this car you were showing me was getting basically the same stuff that my car was getting no there's a blue one there's a blue one inside oh i thought there was a green one inside i have so many there's a green one there's a blue one there's a red one inside i saw this car in the photo this is ridiculous i love this car dude the combo is that paint or is it wrapped it's paint he actually wasn't happy because it wasn't like perfect and then had a different shop redo the whole car i mean it's like jams and everything dude the color and the wheels too like i love it and i am not i am like i know i'm not a e forces guy at all the hood too damn i'll trade this guy straight up you think he wants my car probably not why not he built this for he wanted is it like turbo or superstars or anything so it's supercharged it came it's supercharged like stopped running the fuel pump wires like went to [ __ ] i guess sort of so we fixed that and then while it's here he did no maintenance ever so we're gonna do rod bearings just a rod bearing end and then later point me we'll do the band mouse you know how i like like surprise my mom as far as my dad would like random car in my videos sometimes i had a dream that you surprised me with a supercharger i'm like whoa what the my we were talking about your hair i didn't see the hat right now it's summer whatever all right all right you think i was gonna surprise you i surprised you my god he's like he's like it made him whopping 300 horsepower flat i play a super jar i like you just not that much the new shop new spot so the car really just needed the trans taken apart just to inspect what's going on with the clutch i'm going to put a photo on the screen right here of what you found you have it i think you sent it to me yeah the clutch just fell apart yeah pretty much does that happen no yeah i told you you drove the car like is this bad either clutch slip whatever i'm like yeah it's gonna break like they break and then then it happened but yeah we did uh the car came for a clutch we ended up doing everything from rod bearings the vanos fix subframe reinforcement on the chassis new subframe bushings we were going to be trying our bushings but you had them and then we did like a lot of maintenance i put a new weibo in your car i don't know if you're doing it before yeah we didn't we didn't and i had i had rod bearings done at one point too okay so i want to i want to put that out there you were told it was down to 90 000 miles and i pulled a record from bmw it's not forty thousand miles it's so cool that it was done i had them somewhere they weren't gonna fail right away but they looked a little bit beat up like it happened so you never know even if it was another dealer so yes they were done before um the vanos wasn't broken or damaged this guy's car was fifty thousand miles on his bounce is way worse than yours yeah before you beat up and breaking mm-hmm so but yours is fine change that out i think that's it i mean it says i say that's it three hours worth of work yeah 80 i think like 70 hours worth of work i'm committed to enjoying this car now i would prefer that you did well actually the pain on this thing is not immaculate it looks great so fun fact fun fact if you notice my front bumper looks a little bit different now it's got some fresh paint do you want to do you want to let them know what happened to us um my one of my guys is going to tow the car and then rut nick was like i'll handle it i guess he was playing doing some barter for the car yeah he wanted drift hq parts which i'm happy to provide him with anyway but he was like i'll help you i'll do this and then this they were through the paint on the bumper so i had to get repainted and every body shop was like we need the whole car we want to repaint the whole clip and i was like i'm giving you a bumper and it's i mean as close as it's gonna be yeah it looks pretty good you can't really tell that much in videos anyway right we had to throw him under the bus but he was like dude i feel so bad i'm gonna make good for it i'll repaint it whatever it costs if i gotta buy you a new car i should take him up on that he fell he called me this car for steam hey do you have any black kidney girls because i can't find them anywhere dick teasing everyone on the internet now just for you and here's the new look these are 10 and a half or no sorry 10 25 with 275 squared and the fitment is perfect i have a mild amount of camber on the car i think like three and a half in the front two and a half in the rear pretty common track stuff for uh an e46 but this look is sick love the blue stickers let me know what you guys think dude i don't know how many put in the box you need to make sure you use a lot of water though because they absorb a lot of water like one pack is like you need like a no i don't play like 10th of them because usually they're fast enough to like you give it a little steer and it'll make the wheels start spinning and it makes the car feel faster it didn't work though it just was cripped up it's scary i thought you were going to try and drift or something well that's what i was trying to do to like make it feel faster and exciting break the wheels loose it didn't work though sounds really good those nitto nto5 275 34 35 r18s just really hooked up that was those nitto nto5's nt4682346 style okay didn't work there either that's what i'm saying to the turning's gotta be better i love the throttle response we get a little bit of rubbing but it's not too bad we think about our connecticut boy i'm sorry i'm gonna die no you're not we put together just a little surprise birthday thing for jimmy uh we're going to this taco truck and water that we used to go to that's like behind the brass bill mall and some of the homies are going to meet up there so we're gonna roll up and you can have a big surprise of his friends there and cake and stuff if everything goes according to plan hopefully all goes away he didn't want to do anything for his birthday but i was like this is too good of an opportunity to not do something that's really sweet of you good job adam he's probably going to hate it like if it was me i'd be like i hate attention no i think he'll be happy he just like doesn't want to like inconvenience people he's very like the opposite of selfish whatever that word would be selfless selfless yeah you're you're so selfless to me so that's a secret yep for how long good
