Rebuilding A Wrecked Lamborghini Huracan Part 3

oh my goodness dude what is up guys welcome back to the channel so today we're gonna be working on this 2016 Lamborghini Huracan and as you can see here we got a bunch of parts we already took apart the whole entire front end and we've made a list of everything that we need now we're gonna start with the side of the car and focus on the most damage which is probably going to be this quarter panel right here and then the door should be pretty simple to remove I'm hoping so but the quarter panel is gonna be a little bit tougher so let's go ahead and get right in start taking things apart and try to get this quarter panel removed we're probably gonna have to remove this rear bumper right here just to get to this quarter panel cuz I'm sure there's tons of bolts behind here as well as the taillights and all that good stuff it looks a little bit technical yes as you can see there's just tons of like things going on on this rear bumper so I'm thinking we may have to remove these rear wheels get under there in the fender liners and as for under the let's like remove it yeah it looks like we're gonna have to remove this tray right here but as you know it's all gonna be Torx bit so get your Torx bits ready man I know right so hopefully this comes off fairly simple it's gonna be it's gonna be probably one of the hardest parts to remove I don't know yet it might be super simple but I say let's jump right into it start with this wheel take the wheel off take the inner fender off and start getting somewhere I wonder how watch tyre is this wasn't too wide but it's a 20 inch 305 30 20 I mean that's pretty decent right it is yeah compared to 335 as why is the viper 355 okay I was thinking Corvette zo6 is 335 but it's crazy how Lamborghini I mean I guess they're not too I mean it's not as it's not a big of a car like in person Lamborghini Huracan is actually a really really small so there's really no point of anything wider you can't go wider if you aftermarket wheels but that should be plenty 305 so moving on to here though looks like we're gonna need to remove this splash guard inner fenders inner fenders and it's so clean in here dude it's crazy it's crazy how this all works I never you ever really seen a rear engine what you're saying can get her actual like a yeah actual actual event oh here's like a radiator oh yeah I guess that's the read I want I don't know maybe that's another idea I mean it looks like a radiator or no inner coolers I mean it's not boosted yeah I wonder if that's like a another radiator or something that cools something else down yeah yeah you never know but dude these calipers four piston in the rear to do that's legit dude I love the red do the red Levin don't whine its popping but let's keep moving man let's keep moving cuz I'm sure we got a lot of work ahead of us so let's go ahead and start removing this inner fender [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] get that for you it's a good inner fender right here I'm sure this is expensive as for all the others apartment good thing we don't have to buy the new rear ones so we'll do some more research on that let me see dude look how much good stuff is going on back here dude all these heat shields for that rear engine that is crazy dude wave our link right there you get your sway bar it's oh hi I've never seen that that's some sort of ECU up top look at this is this exhaust valve you know it does have an air valve for exhaust you had actuator valves yeah that's pretty crazy I guess in Corsa mode it yeah it gets a lot louder look at this though get some lighting in here oh my goodness that is so cool dude that is legit get your fuel tank I think there's two fuel tanks on this car one on the left and one on the right looks like there is one little one left and one on the right that is legit and it looks to be as a radiator right here and it definitely is damaged you're definitely have to look for a radiator for the rear now but dude it looks kind of small it should be a pretty cheap one hopefully yeah you say that until you see the price they're gonna be outrageous yeah definitely a radiator in this little shroud that goes around it looks like the quarter pedal pushed it in but check that out dude there's nothing behind that quarter panel of that really that got damaged like except for this radiator cuz look this there's a ton of room back this hollow well I don't know yet we're just gonna have to dig and get right up under there as you can see this part is already moving cuz it got damaged right here but next thing it looks to be under here like we're gonna have to remove the rear bumper so that's gonna be one big major step so I say let's get right on it and see if we can get this thing off as quick as possible guys check this out this car has been so easy to work with so far even the bolts unscrew easy floors just look at that you just flick it a few times and they come right off man not one rusted boat not one tough boat everything is just nice and simple man Lamborghini is it's probably the best exotic car I'm sending that now until we run into problems I hope not and then we're gonna be like screw Lamborghini no man we took apart both inner fenders unscrewed everything it looks to be pretty loose so let's slide this sucker off and see exactly what the eye is doing doing it all by himself man that is cool man be careful in the paint because it's still good condition oh yeah let's go ahead slap it all in there yes sir that's your hole with your exhaust - yes sir and it was just connected to one this is the only wiring and it just sent clips right there so that was very easy on our part yeah very simple to a clip now we can I'm sure we're gonna remove this I tell light first all we need is just the driver side or passenger side tail I remove this tail light and then all these plastic pieces right here Laura well just this side well whatever needs to come off cuz it looks like this plastic piece comes off first then this one and then this one and then we have to remove this one I draw like strut right here and that's it dude this should come right off and then who should expose all the bolts along this quarter panel that's crazy man that's crazy that's awesome yeah and I love when I was gone so far how many we said that so much but it's just true we've never said that so much about a car is how much we like working on it maybe because it's got any little pipes right here this that's gotta go man I mean I'm sure after mark ain't too much bigger because it does have to go into the stock tips at the end it's true but we would really love to run an aftermarket exhaust on this and if you guys don't know yet aftermarket exhaust for these cars are just pretty pricey so it might be in our price range of might not be we still gonna focus on the main things first like the wheels because when wheels in the body parts the exhaust can be the last thing but anyways moving on let's go ahead and remove this rear taillight [Music] one more boy you know what you gotta take off them trays up top but you don't think this us yeah cool we're gonna find out how to remove something else we're gonna have to remove this and probably this and then this and then the engine and then everything just to get a taillight out so that's pretty crazy that is pretty great but that's a lot of work just to get a fill light out it's literally one more bolt right there it's all the way hidden in there yeah it's right behind here all the way up no way to get to it no way oh all right let's start removing some more things and you're never gonna lose your bolts cuz I'm pretty sure they stick to it right yeah they do make sure to do all right let's see if we can pop this off oh sweet check that out super simple as you can see there's a little lock ones yep that's legit it makes a life a lot easier I guess they made this for like Lamborghini experts or the mechanics to make their job a lot faster for them and but they've probably charged a lot to do so exactly but I know though gimmicks next piece is this one right here shouldn't be too hard lock nuts everywhere and then you got your normal one right here then we're gonna have to remove this just so we can pull that off so no big deal let's keep moving right along whatever yeah you gotta take this off to get the taillight I forgot no we got to take this off to get to the taillight but one since we're already in here I'm gonna take this off to get to the quarter panel you know make sense let's do it [Music] [Applause] look at how ginger even he's staying around for this build ginger you don't ever come in the garage but I guess it's that Italy Italian that Italian all right off that sucker out right there is it is this pretty heavy hold that no I gotta just it'll hold by ones all right now you pop it out that piece is that just a plastic piece yeah just a plastic we don't we didn't get the carbon package I think the corporate package comes with the six seven four so this is a 582 so we don't get carbon but but we get a Lamborghini say you can't complain much forget what's going on in here it's all hollow space and all these bars and stuff don't do that nothing was even holding on tech quarter panel is literally that plastic piece I was holding that quarter panel so massive piece we just holding on by the court by holding on by the quarter panel close now I'm sure that all the bolts are under there so locate all of them but for now let's remove this piece so we can take this taillight [Music] I wonder what that piece is called right there some sort of trunk tail I don't know oh there's probably a special name for it I think the rear spoiler if all if all I know you know what I mean so we got that off now let's see if there's any bolts that hold this quarter pound where we can get to the these are two bolts that were holding tail light no one boat right here it's always the black one right here okay let's screw these back in right here pop out that tail light sit just as simple as that where did you already in plate yeah I already unplugged it right here one central plug super simple sick-looking tail light yeah I love that tail light looks amazing really good now now it's time to get to the serious stuff and start trying to get this quarter panel off it's gonna be quite a challenge hopefully not hopefully as easy as taking apart the rest of this stuff but other than that pretty simple I'm thinking some of this stuff comes apart from under here like these vents but the vents or ducks we're gonna call them but then I wonder if this is got like some sort of pump but I mean it is just simple stuff that I'm bolt to really though yeah you gotta keep on unscrewing stuff and you got to have a really good memory this big ol puzzle super simple though I mean all the bolts are basically the same look at this these are the same bolt so there's a quarter panel and then you come over here same bolts there come over here same bolts there same same bolts right there don't bother leadership's hate these guys right here we're gonna see it add wood hit his or mine face on it be like Lamborghini dealers hate these guys find out five reasons why beyond some weird some four hey you're going on the news yeah going on the news man this is legendary stuff but let's get this quarter panel off though there's some hidden Tenzin is there yeah but super sexy as you can see I already got that one tenant already blue [Music] [Music] this is probably one of the hardest things to remove so far other than I mean this that is yes there there's nothing that everything else was a breeze and then these two vents were one of the hardest but we finally got him there was a few hidden bolts right up underneath it was really hard to get to where we got him nothing's gonna stop us now [Music] all right you should be able to take care of yourself man I gotta say it's is that's how loose it is oh my goodness dude move Oh go that way check that out Oh freaking awesome man let's go ahead and set this aside from now we see what's going on back there before you set it down this is a simple quarter panel here or your ducts connected there this little bracket it was kind of weird you can see it last minute but yeah no big deal it was very simple it was hard to find everything it's so tight everything is such a tight space foot dude check this out look at this though look in this bar just unbolts all right so if ya little bit damaged you can just unbolt it just unbolt it or we could maybe welt right here man that is so awesome that is look at this I've seen that behind other what the heck yeah I was thinking that it was gonna be damaged but dude no damage behind here other than this little bracket as we noticed earlier little plastic feet I mean this is just a plastic shroud here that goes around very simple radiators damage clearly this is legit get it how do you see you I don't know dude there's two on each side you think just two of them I honestly heard there may be even more for only that's crazy but look at this little fuel tank right here dude there's one right here and there's the exact same one on that side side you're gonna run out quick especially how we drive a few miles righto pulse in but that is cool dude this is this plastic or aluminum no that's what I thought I said this this aluminum is so like lightweight that it feels plastic cuz there's like dust on another thing what the heck's warm it's all true you're in section on bolts you can see that right here just not this area and not have to weld but this this is but there's no damage back here really likes no serious damage there is like little little minor brackets yeah they don't gonna replace other than that we are solid dude I'm so happy to see that there's very minimum damage to the rear end of this car dude now yeah now just order this quarter panel slap it on there after we fix a few brackets and now we know what we need as far as brackets go and as far as parts go definitely gonna need a new door right we're not even gonna worry about this door right now we're gonna wait to get one in but definitely the quarter panels are made issue and the cuy all the cooling primary cooling this is probably gonna be the first thing that we need to order it so we need to order all the cooling components because we need to get this thing started guys this thing does not run it switches over it just clicks it sounds like the starters clicking so probably in the next video we're gonna crawl up under this thing start taking it apart and hopefully get this thing running and just look at this thing guys it's just like a whole different animal I don't know got the skeleton of the you you don't see this very often so we're bringing this we're bringing this a lot of people so this is pretty much making history here yes you know we recorded all this good content for you guys maybe here in the future one of you guys are gonna purchase our Huracan you never know yeah and there you go you welcome you welcome our welcome early welcome on how to take this stuff apart really fun learning how all this gets took an apartment and how all this is made I mean look at this you got a unibody this is just a uni buddy right monocoque but it's the same thing I guess you can call it a unibody thing then you got your frame going subframe and it's connected to all these frame structure pieces and the good thing about it is most of them are bolted on you know what I mean it is legit it just makes so much sense you know what I mean it's easier for these guys to build the car yep I'm saying then it's easy for us to you know wonder if these are hand like the sample the Huracan I believe so much of these hurt phones yeah the Huracan I believe is mass-produced so I'm not even sure what do you we need to let it do a little bit of research you guys do a little bit research or you guys maybe Huracan specialists you never know there's always the specialist in the comment section so it's no guys I mean we got a huge mess here look at all these parts got all the damaged parts over there got some good parts we have to clean all this up maybe organize all the parts that are bad because we do still have all the bolts and nuts and everything that we screwed back in so we don't want to throw anything away until we get that part and actually switch it over but for now we're gonna sort all this out clean up a little bit and call it a night because we've been working late we've been working all day this stuff right here is not really quick as the videos are but it's really simple so let's keep moving and let's clean this area [Music] all right so we got everything cleaned up sorted out a little bit but man look at that we got this Lamborghini torn apart so now we've pretty much got an idea of what we need to order we pretty much know everything so we It's enjoyable for me to watch the builds but these guys can be painful to watch it times. They need to pick up a little momentum on the episodes. Too much filler talk.
