working the glasses in like a cool subtle way oh yes oh yeah good evening everybody Bonjour I did I learned I actually learned quite a bit of French recently because I'm now also a fashion designer and I know you got a say French to communicate with people like croissants it will play yes either French the real fashion people they understood that that's good one I'm here tonight to present the stylist of the century award which is an award that's so big Laura forgot to mention it in her opening statement nice Laura you up with that is there now a cash prize with this award or fifty grand now also as long with the little trophy thing awesome and I am presenting this award to my very dear stylist mr. Elizabeth Stewart do you want to stand up Elizabeth just sit just stand up please please because I want everybody please just stand up because it's part of a joke see Elizabeth is wearing the exact same thing as Julia was wearing Julia in French that's called a faux pas which in American means move move Julia out of all the things you could have worn you want the same lilac pantsuit okay I'm not I'm fine I'm fine I just think now would probably be a good time to mention that I am Elizabeth's favorite client she represents like the creme de la creme okay she represents Kate Julia Sandra viola gal Jessica Chastain I have to just clarify because some of the Jessica's they aren't that cool there's a few Jessica's so just Chastain that's the one she does but I'm pretty sure that the person that she chose to give the speech is her most favorite client because that's who gets to give the speech like the one that she thinks is the most fashion history geek person essentially I know what she says behind my back she calls me the clotheshorse she does she's I and I know it's time to come in then she put stuff on me and everything instantly Fitz and his awesome fashioned Me's look Elizabeth I really love Elizabeth because she gets me a ton of free stuff she does she Styles like not only massiveness celebrities she does Vanity Fair Vogue Marie Claire Harper's Bazaar these cool brands that give you know they just give stuff away to Lancome Amani escape to you as you've on che yeah a lot of free stuff and you can sell it on eBay if you go under your sister's account made eight thousand dollars this year look at the eBay site but in all seriousness no I do want to say that Elizabeth Stewart has a certain Chanel Palace thing happening and everyone that is so lucky to work with her is just so in awe of her talent and her generosity and her kindness and her creativity she is just so gorgeous as a human and gorgeous in what she wears even if giulio tried to upstage a it doesn't matter because she's so awesome and I'm so proud and honored to give her the stylist of the century award so by this century and lost century I'm just gonna put that out there so Elizabeth please everyone put your hands together I did have one hesitation and asking Russell to introduce me because I didn't want to follow her but I'm gonna make this short and sweet just like you [Laughter] tonight exemplifies what's so insanely great about what I do I get to be around amazing women like Revlon Julia women who inspired not not just when wearing Givenchy especially the glasses but with their phenomenal talent and his role models and leaders and in Julia's case who's willing to indulge our mutual mahjong obsession at 30,000 feet now I'm getting an award for getting to be along for the ride that's like winning the lottery and then getting an award for winning the lottery so don't get me wrong it's really nice to be honored and thank you more Brown even though you forgot to mention me earlier I'm used to it trust me anyways I've been pretty happy with just winning the lottery part and I just want to take one minute to answer a question I get asked a lot which is how do you get to do what you do and the answer for me is very simple it's be very very lucky be lucky enough way back when of people like Lisa casteller and Calista Flockhart it was my first client 20 years ago believe this was something I could do before I believe it myself be lucky enough to work with incredibly brilliant fashion talents like Claire and our shared friend use of marque now I love him the most be lucky it has to be part of a truly inspired community of others stylists like my blood my beloved Christmas melon who's here tonight and I can't wait to hear him speak and Carla well she's my voice as she knows everything she says I want to say but I'm too shy to say and surgeon Genevieve or here too and there whose incredible talent raises the bar for and makes the results for all of our clients so much more than the sum of the parts and I'm absurdly lucky enough to have clients like Revlon Julia who challenged me respect me and inspire me each and every day and who I'm honored to call my friends thank you [Applause]
