oh [Music] good afternoon everyone it is a good day that the lord has made and we all should rejoice and be glad in amen our stripper reading we're coming from the book of ezra chapter nine eight and the ninth verse again ezra chapter 9 8 through the 9th verse there you will find these words recorded and now a little space grace have been shown from the lord our god to leave us a remnant to escape and to give us a nail in his holy place that our god might lighten our eyes and give us a little reviving in our bondage for we were abundant yet our god has not forsaken us in our bondage but have extended mercy unto us in the sight of kings of persia to give us a revival to set up the house of god and to repair the desolations thereof and to give us a wall in judah and jerusalem i read from you the book of ezra ninth to the april the ninth eighth through nine first may the lord have a blessing to the here to do us as well as the doers of his holy word let us pray heavenly father i come homely tonight thanking you father father for waking me this morning and started me on my way and father we just thank you lord god for this revival father we thank you for the man that's gonna bring the word tonight and not only that father we thank you for pastor trey [Music] lord god and revive us because father we need revival we've gone going astray lord and we just need you we need you right now lord god father god so much is happening and father we just need you we need you father god and father we come humbly right now god just asking you to have mercy on us have mercy on it and father we ask these and all blessings in jesus name we ask and pray amen amen amen [Music] hallelujah can we stand to our feats and worship on this evening come on let anybody come knowing that the lord is your strength there's nothing that you can do to take away the strength of god just begin to lift your hands right there and just say god thank you for being my strength yes thank you lord hallelujah come on just tell them something sweet say thank you for being my strength oh god god we thank you for being our strength in the time of weakness lord god when we're weak we know you to be our introducing my brother from another beautiful mother uh he has uh he has shown himself to be uh not only a brother but a friend and um he has been someone i have been able to confide in and someone that has been an encourager especially in my journey through school having gone the scholastic journey that i'm traveling on and so anytime you come across someone who is willing to share and impart into you at the very least you can say thank you so publicly i just want to tell you thank you y'all put your hands together and receive my friend and brother pastor k.t ellis of the springfield missionary baptist church tuskegee alabama come on put your hand together i said you come on put your hand together in this house i know that we're still practicing social distances still got your mask on but even with masking practice and social distance god still deserves all the honor all the glory and all the praise and i want to give a special shout out to bishop classy stewart and not under that pastor trey stewart come on give your leadership a hand come on come on give him a hand god bless you thank you for thinking of me trey on this journey thank you you know sometimes we go through life we go through and it seems like what we're doing is to no avail see like you try to do the right thing the bible said every time i would do good evil is always around and sometimes evil jumps in people and the people have the way of showing you how they really feel about you and i discovered on this journey i kind of feel like the williams brother i'm just a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody can save anybody anybody feel like there's somebody sometimes [Music] who can say anybody look at your hand if you feel like there's somebody if you feel like that sometimes just help me say i'm just [Music] [Applause] who can say anybody and then the man said it like this in a song i've had so many problems in my life that i just couldn't deal with guess what he did he said so i started drinking he drank some of you might smoke thought it would help ease my pain but then you know what he said but thing got worse he [Music] that's when my life [Music] began but every time i talk to people around me i feel like a nobody [Music] trying to tell everybody about somebody who can say that's the point i'm trying to get to y'all [Music] he can save your [Music] how many know he can save tonight is that anybody he'll know tonight that he can say no other name under heaven that's why we hear tonight that men can be saved and sometimes i feel like a man born in the country raised on a farm no fancy car no fancy house to live in but thank god mom and daddy raise me up on the real deal and that's god almighty and sometime when i sing about jesus and people won't listen every now and then it made me put my head down howard and i walk along yeah i feel like nobody [Music] trying to tell everybody about somebody who can save anybody come on put your hand together amen that's what we feel like sometime [Music] preach a sermon go home and wonder if anybody has received what we said first given out to god who is the giver of life my keeper my everything without him i am nothing i dare not try to take credit for what i've done where i am because what i am he made y'all come on help me here what i know he taught me where i am he brought me y'all like y'all want to have a little church in here y'all going to me thank god again for pastor trey for inviting me here to all of the officers members and friends of this church i see my aunt shirley back there my father-in-law deacon persia thomas thank god for you for showing up tonight and if i miss anybody desiree god bless you on the spring here members god bless you here tonight i know you come to hear a word i have a few words to say with you gonna sit down and get out of here i was always told it don't take all night to do nothing especially when you know what you're doing amen god bless you that was a word from the lord tonight luke chapter 18 a very familiar character who i thought we needed to bring to the forefront of uh your psyche tonight because during the time that we are going through now people have become melancholy become mad become sad just don't have any voice they have let their situation shut them up but i saw a man in the text tonight luke 18 chapter 35 i will commence reading that verse number 35 you already know it if you read the bible before it says and then it happened and he as he was nearing jericho that said a blind man sat by the side of the road begging and hearing a multitude passing by he asked what it meant so they told him jesus of nazareth was passing by and he cried out saying jesus son of david have mercy on me you may be seated in the presence of god i want to use for the subject tonight at this point silence is not an option look at somebody around you if you're on speaking terms you don't have to shake their hand if your social distance just tell them neighbor at this point silence is not an option my brothers and sisters let me preface this message tonight by letting you know that life can be extremely stressful depressing and full of anxiety it seems like every day we wake up in the morning when we wake up it's hard waking up in the morning knowing that you have to deal with the same problem that you went to sleep on last night can i get a witness here it could be extremely stressful and depressing waking up every morning knowing that what you dealt with on yesterday is still an ongoing issue y'all ain't helping me here yesterday is still unresolved unanswered unconcluded and it's still up in the air and if you're not careful it will cause the best of us to shut our mouths and the reason we become savvy we become silent is because we have been dealing with our circumstance and situations for so long that it sucks the life out of our very being and it feel like we have no more power no more strength to go on anybody ever been there can i tell you today dealing with ongoing situations that linger makes us tired makes us grow weary and if we're not careful it will cause us to hush y'all ain't saying nothing to me in here because i come to tell someone today that you're not the only person to have to deal with a problem that's had to deal with a problem longer than 24 hours can i help somebody you're not the first no will you be the last y'all ought to help me in here so even though you may be in the valley now don't let the enemy steal your voice because your voice is vital to your victory y'all are helping me here i need some folk in here that that know what it is to go through but when you came through you came out fight y'all to heaven that's pure golden you did not let the circumstances dictate how are you going to participate it is is there anybody here today that can attest to the fact reverend i've been through too much to be not to be quiet i've been through too much not to come in here and not give god no praise i've been through too much had too much heartache i had them troubled i've seen it bruises i've taken them loneliness i've been dirty burdens i've buried them dark days i've been doing them disappointments i've dealt with them i've been through too much [Music] yeah for me to be quiet now y'all they got to say no i'm smoothing up the rough way i'll be out here about 15 more minutes look at your neighbor and tell them you you can't make me hush and neither can my situation because i've reached the point of no return you should have killed me when you had me down you should've y'all you should have borrowed me when i could come in but now you to mess around and let me come into the house of god enough into the gates with thanksgiving and until his court will pray tell somebody protocol has already been set [Music] here it is if you're gonna if you're gonna be connected to me y'all are hitting me here y'all look somebody around saying baby if you're gonna be connected to me spiritually you got to open up your mouth being silent ain't an option being cute i don't want to be around you if you're going to be connected to me spiritually i need you to open up your mouth and act like god has been good to you i need you to open up your mouth i need you to pray for me and i pray for you i need you to shout for me and i shout for you let the redeemed of the lord say so it's too much at stake now for you to sit here act like humpty dumpty sitting on the wall getting ready to have a great fall we're in spiritual warfare i need some folk that can get a prayer through for me as a matter of fact tell them you don't have to be you don't have to you don't have the right to remain silent don't sit up in here all relative reclusive and reserved calm cool and collect as if god ain't never done enough for you this morning as a matter of fact one of the biggest blessings you ever received take your hand put it in front of you and blow it y'all ain't helping me here you you touch somebody around and say baby you don't have the right to remain silent you you know how to you don't have the right because he's been too good he's been too kind he's been too just and he's done too much y'all are helping me here is there anybody who made up your mind that you can afford not to let your voice be heard i don't know about you this time last year let me testify i was in afghanistan and you see all the hillations and the hellish stuff going on there now it could have been me y'all ain't helping me here but look at me i am a living testimony being quiet now ain't an option and the reason being quiet now ain't an option you've been through too much i wish i could just go down the dialect and of some of the situations in life i'm sure most of us in here if i went down your road you would have the same song the joe lagann saying i am a living testimony y'all ain't helping me up in here look here i know why you're going through your patience begin to grow things but you shouldn't hush i know why you're going through pain it's plentiful but can i encourage you my child of god don't hush i know why you're going through hurt is horrendous but can i encourage you tonight don't hush y'all ain't hearing me here i know why you're going through your burdens get hard to bath but can i encourage you one or two year tonight don't hush because i want to tell you today that if you need a miracle if you want god to work on your behalf now is not the time to be quiet y'all ain't hearing me now is not the time to be cute and act like god owes you something now is not the time because there's too much at stake watch this i'm gonna do this for you hear the note over there stop now watch this physics teaches us that even though they stop playing the instrument the sound is still traveling you'll get this when you get home and see watch this sometime what you do now how you praise god now he posted some stuff and he remembers how you added a food for him in front of focus restoration he said here it is you want it he said i know you really need it now you don't care how did it at that time but let me give it to you just in the nickel you want to touch your neighbor and say sound travel that's all he's trying to tell you open up your mouth and begin to give god an about two praise in here you ought to praise him like he's about to pay some bills you ought to pray to like it about to turn it around [Music] so if you're looking for god to heal deliver set free and give an increase you want to tell somebody you don't get quiet now i'm a part of the noisy crew have you ever noticed everywhere else we go we follow protocol we go to the club we get crunk we go to the pub we get drunk why is it when we come to the house of god we have to play simon says raise your hand tell god thank you turn around three times you've got been any kind of good to you you want to open up your mouth with that leg he made a way you want to act like he's turning it around i don't have to wait till the battle is over just go ahead and shout out [Music] the reason why the reason we become silent because we shouldn't become silent is because our praise precedes you when david went into battle he didn't go into battle with bombs and bullets off the back i remember reading the bible it said he had to praise him in front of him he didn't go with bombs and bullets but he went he went with hands and hallelujahs y'all ain't helping me here and some of your greatest victories in life is not gonna be with bombs and bullets but you're gonna make it through with some hallelujahs and some high lifted hands i'm preaching y'all saying amen so look at somebody tell them don't hush dang you get in your preacher voice tell them don't hush now because now is not the time to give up for those that have felt like giving up and throwing in the towel those that have felt like they can't go on for those that feel like you have too many heels in your path i come to tell you and encourage you today child of god keep the line of communication opal open keep the line of communications over open because big mama i didn't understand what you to say when she used to say it because i just didn't have enough understanding at the time but there's going to come a time in your life regardless of how many times you call on god ultimately i don't know when i don't know how i don't know where but he will announce a prayer i don't have to be profound for you to say man about that i don't have to be deep about to get an amen right there i need some folk in here who know what it is to open your mouth on sunday give god your very best on sunday didn't know how you gonna pay the next bill on monday but some way and somehow god worked work that thing out i need some folks look at somebody around say he's a miracle worker i'm through bishop i didn't mean to preach that law and if you like blind baltimore's coming bottom is [Music] if you like blind bartimaeus you'll let nothing keep your mouth closed ain't no mountain high enough ain't no valley low enough ain't no river deep enough to keep you from telling god you need him it is because if the enemy can keep you your mouth closed he'll win the battle but the guard out sir he'll let some battles be worn but he said i'll give you the wall y'all ain't heavy disciples are made not with battles but disciples are made how they endure the war y'all are hearing me here there's some battle that you fought god said i i'll let the enemy think he got the upper hand but ultimately when you come out on the other side you went through the fire but you don't smell like it y'all having me here you found some enemies that they thought they had you down they had you out but god says on the count of three he said you're gonna get up and says you're gonna have a testimony bartimaeus they thought had lost but he won the war and the reason you shouldn't keep your mouth closed or hush because we learned from bartimaeus number one oh you got to be determined to come out of your predicament i didn't write it i read it because in the text this man by the name of bartimaeus who is sitting on the side of the highway begging not only that but he's suffering from a calamitous conditions y'all hear me you can't just sing with your spiritual eye on the side of the road begging you know how it is when you pull up on the intersection and the guys have a sign saying we'll work for food y'all they helping me here homeless veteran just needs some y'all know what i'm talking about can't you see in the night paint the picture in your mind by the man standing there joy or bothering nobody just wants to be blessed but his begging bothered others and they wasn't willing to bless him let me help somebody here tonight be careful how you entertain strangers because some of us have entertained angels and the very thing you were shouting about but because you were so um i ain't gonna go there that's another sermon let me go back down to bartimaeus he's begging and all he wants is a little help this man lived in a time when beggars were common and since most occupations required physical labor anyone with a crippling disease or disability was at a severe disadvantage uh and what would usually happen is the beggars were forced to beg and watch this they could not rely on anyone family members didn't want to help them they didn't want to be attacked tagged to them watch this because begging and watching let me go back to this bartimaeus was dealing with a double whammy he was a beggar and he was blind and from a societal standpoint he was labeled they said he was cursed it was a curse from god from a societal standpoint this man was dealing with a double woman but watch this even though he was faced with audrey's adversities what i like about this man is he didn't like let his condition deter dissuade watch this would this turn dissuade nor affect his character or while dealing with his catastrophic condition in other words he didn't let his disabilities know his what he didn't have put a label on him and watch this folk could call him whatever they wanted to but he still knew what he wanted so many times we allow folk labels to pull us down so many times in life we allow folks what they say about us to watch this land bombs on the creases of our crevices in our mind and we begin to go down with psychological issues because we allow what folks say to kill us and take us out [Music] but watch this what i like about baltimore is you can say whatever you want to say about it his character his condition didn't change what he was looking for and i don't care how bad it gets i don't care how low you think you are don't let your condition change your character y'all ain't hearing me here we see here even though this man with conditioning is described as a blind beggar watch this we see him displayed in the bible as a bold believer you missed that i said just because we see him labeled as a blind beggar he's still the bible depicts him as a bold believer verse 39 he did not let others watch this how do you know reverend because in verse 39 he didn't let others determine his volume you missed that he was he was labeled as a blind beggar but the bible said he was still a bold believer why reverend because he did not that you want to tell somebody around you i don't care what your predicament is presenting you at the case at the moment i don't care how bad it looks i don't care how bad it seems you got to understand as your praise positions you for what god is about to put on you you got to tell somebody don't shut up now look at him tell somebody around to go turn the volume up y'all too quiet for me tell them don't turn the volume up now but if they if they didn't like you before just go ahead and give them something not to like you about y'all they hear me here if they can stand your praise before just go ahead and turn it up just a little bit louder i need some baltimore's in here it's too too quiet here for me i need some folk in here who know what it feels like not knowing where your next y'all where your next meal is going to come from sometime you got to stretch a dollar to make 50 cents y'all ain't heaven here living paycheck to paycheck robin peter to pay paul i need some folks here that that can look up and say lord open up the windows of having them pull me out [Music] a blessing watch this secondly i'm through the reason you shouldn't hush is because you because you've decided what you'd want done particularly see i the thing i like about god is sometimes he can be very particular watch this see here it is some folk pray pray all day and when the prayer don't get answered they wonder why you don't want all around the world telling god everything but what you really need scripture tells me he knows what you need even before you ask now watch this you praying for a man and you missed out all the details you want in a man six two tall dark and handsome hazel ass i want him saved sanctified and filled with the holy ghost but you to pray to all the other prayers ain't told god watching particularly you got to be particular sometime with god and say god this is what i want and it could be your will you think i'm lying it's right here because it is 44 that's why this condition this condition that this man viewed watch this it was intended to be viewed with pity but here it is i'm going to leave you right here even though it may have been intended to be viewed with penny howard uh i see a whole lot of promise in this man pity you miss what i just said see folks will look at you and feel sorry for you but they don't understand where god is getting ready to take you you better tell folk now take a good look at me now you can feel sorry for me if you want to but i won't trouble don't last all week i won't be right here by this time next year by this time tomorrow now y'all let him heal that's why the prophets are old would always say by this time tomorrow won't worry about how folk looked at it with pity because even in pity god can still bring a promise out of your pity y'all ain't hearing me here he knew exactly what he wanted from the lord and watch this he asked for oh i stopped by to tell you today that when that with god the impossible oh becomes possible y'all are helping me here you touch somebody around say neighbor just give god a chance just give god a chance we must learn to be specific with our prayers even though he was playing with a debilitating condition outwardly inwardly he still had upward aspiration i don't care how bad it may seem i know you say it's easier said than done i'm in a situation now i've lost my cool i've lost my i've i've lost everything been meant to be sanctified y'all in heaven here but ultimately the only thing i can rely on is what the psalmist says look to the hills george the only way i got to look now is uh because i've looked around and folk can't help me y'all let her hear i don't have a one other place to look and that's up [Music] through this man's character it was meant for us to see that if you watch this if you can maintain your character while going through the storms in life your character is an instrumental element that helps you overcome your condition and it helps you to usher in your change i gotta leave y'all here now here it is sterling you shouldn't hush because we see through bottom bottom ears because when you don't hush watch this and you've dealt with the divine when you deal with the divine you'll get your praise report look at verse he followed jesus watch this and gave him glory watch this and he cried verse 38 out saying jesus son of david have mercy on me then those went before him warned him that he should be quiet but look at bartimaeus he cried the more son of david have mercy on me i come to tell you tonight as i exit here a little bit of mercy from god will take you a long way in life you don't have to be the most educational driven person to experience god's mercy you see because the ultimate measure of a man a woman character as martin luther king says not displayed when they stand in the moments of comfort and confidence but it's truly revealed when they encounter moments of controversy and challenge ask your neighbor what have you gone through lately and still kept your character intact bartimaeus will tell you oh all i wanted was my my report to be that god will make a way all he wanted was to be able to let other folk know ain't no secret to what god can do i believe he will tell you what he does with others he'll do it for you and i hear bottom is just kept on hollering that son of david have mercy on me well since bartimaeus is not here tonight and we have a few folk here and a few folk online i got to leave you in the hands of god tonight but i got five good reasons why you shouldn't keep your mouth closed and if you're here tonight yes when i call on one of these five reasons then you shouldn't keep your mouth closed yes i want you to stand on your feet when i call out of one of these reasons that you can identify with that but this reason i'm not gonna keep my mouth closed i want you to testify in here i'm proof yes [Music] i close my little sermon by telling you this morning this afternoon rather i'm guilty of god's goodness did you hear me okay nobody do me like jill well can i give you five reasons why you shouldn't keep your mouth closed i'm gonna exhibit a y'all uh these and the other people that had ailments in their body and their body was all right with pain but you can testify tonight that you'll prove that god don't hear me can i see the hand of exhibit a in him didn't know how [Music] somebody in here can say he is jehovah rapha he is a mighty good provider but i ain't got no help in here what exhibit be had in him exhibit c these other folk who had some close calls in their life could have been could have been could have been dead [Music] you can say tonight like david said the lord heals jehovah rohab he been my protector i feel like role of sharon the first and the last the beginning and the end the keeper of creation the creator of all things the architect of the universe the lord of history he always was he always is he always will be he's unmovable unchangeable undefeated undismayed adam's redeemer battle ax in the time of battle y'all don't hear me gideon's fleece saxon the power david music solomon's wisdom in a gilead ezekiel the wheel in the middle of a wheel anybody know him anybody know him god's son the sinner's savior the cactus ransom what i found he catches me when i fall he forgives me when i'm weak he
