please state your name um ask my JAMA that's Asma je ma all right thank you and what did you want to say I just wanted to say um thank you honor for giving me the opportunity to speak what happened to me on that day is unacceptable it shouldn't happen for anybody else it made me I used to be a carefree person and now I can't go anywhere by myself it really impacted and changed my life for the good and for the bad too I just wanted I I just wanted to say that it's then I am happy it's over it's been a long year and really stronger than this I don't know what's going on with me today I think I'm just happy that it's over and I just wanted the court to know that I am a strong person I'll keep fighting but what happened to me should never happen in the state of Minnesota and it shouldn't happen to anybody just because you're different and I hope that if I could ask if I can talk to the defendant would that be okay sure Jodi what you did to me that day wasn't good you should never do anything like that to anybody but I just wanted to tell you in front of everybody today that I do forgive you my religion teaches me to forgive so I can move on with my life if I hold a crutch and I hold the hill cheerful towards me against you it's not gonna serve me well so in front of everybody here I do forgive you and I hope that you choose love over hate I really do because it makes your life easier having hate just eats at you it's not good I hope you find what you're looking for and I hope at the end of this journey I know you've had just as long as a year but I have had and my intention for you it's not bad I don't have any Infinix towards you I just want you to at the end of all this to understand that we're all the same it doesn't matter what's on my hand it doesn't matter the skin the color of my skin we're all the same human beings we're fighting for the same right I'm an American citizen and I fight for this country today I would fight for it as much as much as you would so I just want you to understand um you hit somebody you didn't know anything about I do speak English I speak very well English and work every single day just like you do Jodi so I hope at the end of all this that you learn we're all the same there's no difference between me and you and all thank you thank you all thank you
