My first WWF/E event I attended at the age of 10, I made a big sign for Edge. When it was his turn to wrestle, he went to the nearest turnbuckle to me, I held up the sign, he looked right at me, smiled, and pointed at me. Completely made my year. I still can't help but smile when I think about it.
I may have stopped watching wresting, but it's still a sad day to see him go.
I liked that the WWE wanted more tests. It's great to hear they're not screwing around and want to be 100% sure.
As for this retirement it sucks too see anyone go due to injury for any sport. At least he got to live a legacy.
Damn the Boneitis.
My favorite era of edge was from pseudo-vamp to him and Christian.

I loved watching him wrestle since he first came into the WWF. I got out of wrestling but it's amazing to hear he won so many title belts and was so successful. It's a shame to see him retire before he chose to be done but at least he's stopping now before doing any damage

I may not watch wrestling anymore but I have a very soft spot for the WWE/WWF.
This brought a tear to my eye. I'm going to play some freaking Smackdown on my ps2 now.
All I kept thinking was, c'mon crowd cheer louder dammit.
Wasn't sure if they were going to boo him out of the ring or spontaneously cheer.
