what's up everybody its Joe from complex we're in New York City a flight club with the new commissioner smackdown live and WWE legend shane mcmahon jordan ones the dunks more my thing more what I grew up with good to talk some sneakers today we're also going to talk some wrestling today and then hopefully he's gonna buy some sneakers I got a lot of these is it nice yeah it's like a kid in a candy store right roll let's do it so Shane February out of nowhere you returned back to WWE right first of all it was a moment like returning and getting that huge ovation something that rocked me I'm in the Detroit audience was unbelievable and it is one of those things I'll never forget in my life for sneakerheads what everyone noticed is that you returned in the Chicago once I was wearing the J ones you know I was one of the Chicago yeah I just throw him you know I took him out of my claws and I just said the returns happenin and it just was very organic and I just put him in my bag and I said I'm just going to wear these and rock a suit and come out and we'll see what happens when you were growing up was it like this for you or what not I mean there wasn't that many styles yeah you know you go back and really the whole history of sneakers I mean it boomed you know in the 80s you know DMC came up with them I idea does the whole song the Air Force Ones came out 82 ish someone running yeah me too and then the Jordans and the dunks came out right around the same time and I liked the fact that what Jordan was doing and it really related to me he was kind of the bad boy if you will and that just resonated with me so she lets walk down here and talk about it infamous internet photo and a moment you're passing some great shoes though you know that will come back to this this is my closet at home yeah really a lot of ones yeah I'm I'm partial to the ones yeah but I think we're getting to your point one we're doing a little iconic three action exactly so 2006 on Monday sneakers talk about that bro showcase let's do it the toast of the sneaker game right now are Kanye's signature sneakers going for $5,000 a signature sneakers with Nike and Adidas a WWE Superstar that we talked about John Cena has his own signature sneaker with Kmart you seem like you're more of a man of expensive tastes but would you ever wear John Cena sneakers well those are John so I'm probably wearing my own so okay you know if you wanna meet you I'm so yeah sure so you would support the home team well he's the face that runs the place he's on Smackdown live so whatever whatever he needs done but I get on more parsing the ones we talked about seeing it but not just you wearing sneakers to wrestling we see the new day in Jeremy Scott sneakers we see Enzo amore in a lot of Jordans do you feel threatened by Enzo's sneaker game you know what not all you think yours is better way better cool you Mike my closet Enzo even say that really I'd be like oh man you know butt ends are wearing some flashy stuff like he would wear the yeah you know that's not really my speed but uh you know he's just out there nice one but he's a he's a good good dude okay fair what do you think about sneakers going for $6,000 oh we talked about Kanye know what do you think I like his music yeah PC answer yeah I mean I think it's music we kind of talked about everything now it's time for you to look around shop and I'll hopefully get some sneakers like a lot of these it's nice yeah it's like a kid in a candy store these were three bears these are cool Kentucky's yeah mmm Jordans $30,000 no way well Eminem can afford those sleeping yeah so Shane what are you thinking I'm think I'm gonna go I'm gonna grab pair of these so you get every day okay go with this one also please Oh summertime here we go nice catch you all right well my truth now your total is 871 dollars so as you guys could see Shane McMahon came through stuck to his roots for a pair of Jordan ones make sure
