what are obvious things you've just become aware of I thought it was normal to get a little burning sensation in your throat when you eat hazelnuts turns out I was allergic I was six when I learned nuts aren't supposed to taste itchy the bald spot on the back of my head I mean I knew it was there for a few years but last month we moved into a new house and the upstairs bathroom has a large wall mirror across from the vanity mirror so now every morning while I brush my teeth all I can do is stare at my bald spot all this time I've been walking around like this unaware of just how large and obvious it was at it removed redundancy that the reason old people move so slowly is that they are in pain source em now old person is there any way I can unlearn this I didn't realize how much I interrupted people while they were talking until one person didn't let me they bulldozed right over whatever the duck I had to add I'm much more aware now I realized I used to be a one-upper every story you had I had one better I completely stopped this behavior and I think it has made me a better listener I am no longer just waiting for my turn at it I am NOT attempting to one of you here Fez the comments section I've actually learned a lot I was told a couple weeks ago that he was just dried grass I thought it was its own thing that grew and I just never saw it to be fair it tends to be a special type of grass so it is still its own thing just also a subset of grass much like oak is a subset of tree or Pokemon professor that the Autobahn is the entire highway system in Germany not just a single road that you can drive really fast on you would not believe the number of people that just don't get it when asked if I've ever drove on the Autobahn I usually ask if they've ever drove on they would look like they were just waiting for me to leave so they could call CPS on me young people who had never had kids but also old ladies who had their kids a long time ago when they used to he bought two tubs r.i.p that the family cat did not in fact go to live on a farm and yes I came to this realization while watching the episode of Friends where Ross comes to the same realization I was obviously aware that mirrors are reversed since a very young age however I recently got side bangs in my hair and since it was so obvious didn't consider that it looked like the opposite side to others it was actually a very surprising realization one of my mates only realized Elton John was gay when the TV commentary at the Royal Wedding talked about him and his husband since him three years old I'm living in Germany we have speed limit signs in our villages that say something like 30 zone which means 30 km/h maximum in that street there are many more speed limit signs like 50 70 100 and much more the only sign that has the word zone in it is the 30 zone sign you won't find most of these anymore because they changed them to just the 30 so when I was younger a quiet didn't understand what that zone stands for every time I passed by such a sign on my bike I thought zone just means soon a German for Sun so my young dumb brain thought those signs indicate the maximum temperature the street can reach like WTF why did I think that I literally thought that a 30 zone street keeps its temperature at 30 degrees Celsius and cool down to 30 see whenever the outside temperature gets higher I realized my mistake when I was like 12 to 13 years old and it still bothers me to this day how the duck I believed my own theory about those signs good thing is I never told it to anybody so
