what's this we have to penny boxes from New York State and one is a customer rep box hey everybody its Rob with Rob finds treasure and that's right I've got a New York State penny box hunt for you guys today it's two boxes and first and foremost I want to thank NY yes lotto scratcher or New York State lotto scratcher he sent me three boxes for three of my mats now one of the boxes was an uncirculated 2019 Philadelphia Mint Bank box and I'm gonna be keeping that for Mike elección but the other two are huntable so I kind of got the best of all three worlds I got a bank raft circulated box of pennies a customer wrapped box of pennies and an uncirculated box of Philadelphia mints at 2019 very cool thanks again New York State lotto scratcher for the trade for today's hunt we're gonna kick it off with this customer wrap box and I know that NYS lotto scratcher did check to make sure these weren't hunted roles he said he dumps a few roles out saw some decent copper and other things figured they were good roles and then of course he did open this one to double-check that they were circulated and they are so we definitely have a 100 role hunt I'm gonna kick it off with the custom wraps because I'm really intrigued to see what we get in here now in the history of all my customer wraps typically I don't get a lot of Wheaties only because I think some customers will see those and maybe pull them aside but I am curious I'm also curious to see if I find any varieties in here because a lot of customers even though they know what wheat cents an Indian Head cents are don't necessarily know what varieties to look for so I'll be doing a lot of work checking for varieties on all these pulling the copper out and of course on those that being said I'll be using my Lincoln penny coin hunts mat and my microscope and if you guys are interested in any of this stuff I always have links to them down below or of a link to my store site above here that's it we're not gonna do a jabber anymore we're gonna get right into these customer wrap rolls and see we get I'll bring you in on my first good find just grabbed out roll one and we don't have any finds yet but I dumped it out and that my friends looks like a lot of copper I could be back shortly but holy cow if these rules have that much copper we might have some old rules we're on rule two and rule one was 50 copper coins roll two had to 1983's that aren't copper out of it so far but I ran into my first wheat cent looks like we got a copper dump hopefully that stays true to a lot of the rules 1947 filly and not that heavily circulated condition it is brown but I'll take it one wheat cent on the board rule number eight copper stain good we've got our second wheat cent 1945 Philadelphia rule number nine and amongst all the copper we do have another wheat cent 1942 out of philly roll ten and this rule has a lot more modern shield cents in it but it also has a wheat cent number four and a 44 same rule we have our first ford 1 cent 1973 with the pig on it you gotta love it what a beautiful Bermuda sit and look at the condition not too bad I'll take that all day for number one we're on rule number 12 and I found myself one of my bucket list errs it's a variety that I've been looking for I have it on my mat at 1994 Philadelphia minted doubled I reverse let me show you the penny I have under the scope here really quick you can very clearly see that there is an extra column in this last Bay a partial column and the second to last Bay and a nice little Die chip right here touching the second to the last column now when I bring up PCGS this is a 1994 DD RFS 801 and if I bring up the reverse there's the dye chip there's the partial column and there's the column in between now I have submitted one of these two PCGS for our subscriber by name tea wolf coin hunter and it's in my very first PCGS submission video which I'll put a link to it up here you can check that out this coin in Hyman State is worth a lot of money now the one I submitted the PCGS ended up getting an awesome grade of mint state 67 which made its value around 2200 ours PCGS but they've been selling around 1500 now I'll show you my coin in a second but I think it's at least an MS sixty-one and it could be an MS 63 or 64 $75 in value let me go ahead and show you the coin 1994 there are a few dings on it and there is some rub marks above the United States of America but other than that it's in fantastic shape and I know I'm touching it but the end of the day it's probably a 63 maybe a 64 so I think my final assessment I'm gonna flip it up now so I don't touch it anymore it's probably mint state 63 $75 we have found my first find a 94 p DD r FS 801 enroll 12 of this customer at box just finish flipping up that 94 DD R and we're on rule 14 and I dumped it out a lot more copper again but I saw a Canadian cent back here figured I'd bring in a beautiful 1980 love it second for another box same role we'd sent facing us number five a 1957 filly in pretty nice shape very next rule we've got another Canadian and I think for sake of time since this is up in New York we're probably gonna have a lot of Canadians so I'm gonna refrain from showing you all the Canadians unless there is a different foreign I'll bring you back in but just for sake of time in my experience hunting boxes up in the Northeast we do see a lot of Canadians now that you know we have to I'll bring you back every so often if we get more that way you see what we're getting roll number 19 and I'm not sure how this oversized coin made it into the roll but we got a french republic 10 cent teams from 1974 pretty cool and I also did find a young head from 1960 figured I'd pointed out and yes we're amassing the Canadians well I have you here I did notice we've got a wheat setback here let's go ahead and grab this bad boy looks pretty nice on the reverse 1950 3d on the obverse we'd sent number six roll 21 on the customer rep box and we're gonna wheats at number 7 this one is another 45 filly same rule and we're gonna have a 1957 Philadelphia roll 28 and facing us is a 1955 we'd love for it to be a video but I don't see anything with the naked eye and as expected I don't see anything indicating a DD o as well still always fun to see a 55 wheat Tsin in there especially when it's number 9 of the box roll number 30 is kind of an ugly role but within that role was a dime 1994 not silver but 9 cents to the good roll 30 of the box and not only do I see one wheat cent I see another so this is gonna be number 10 and 11 1944 Philly and 1944 Philly we're all 32 if another weedy sandwich here one right in front I pushed him down and there it is this will be number 12 and 13 ooh a little bit of a stew this one it has some corrosion or fire damage but it is in 1930 Philadelphia oldest of the box and [Music] 19:56 D since we have you here we'll check it for the shadow D I don't see the D over D and I don't see the D over shadow D which there'd be a little shadow of a D down there alright we'll take it thirteen wheat cents many more rolls to go same rule where we had wheat sent 12 and 13 and check this out we've got one there we've got one there we've got one there we've got three more this is gonna be a five wheat cent roll so number 14 is a 42 number 15 is a 47 and number 16 is in 1950 Wow just dumped out roll number 47 and as they lie I see a we'd sent another 1944 same roll remove the top coin and right below it was a 52 D in really nice shape man that is a beauty and I will take that all day well we've done it the first 50 customer rap rolls are hunted of course this one is a bank wrapped box Fox is falling apart but you know what it was a fun hunt we got 18 wheat cents nothing really worth flipping out about the oldest was in 1930 and pretty beat-up shape but I'll take it we also found the fund of the box an FSA 801 1994 P DDR beautiful some of you may think well I get it graded I don't know I can pretty much tell you right now it's not gonna be higher than midstate 65 and if it got a 65 I would break even at to the grading fees for the value I've earned if it's a 63 or 64 anyway I'll have to think about that one I did find a pretty cool 1992 with a die crack on it I'll keep it it was not the close am I've got a 1972 s here it's nice I don't get very many of these so I kept it and then we also have a 1972 P with some machine doubling but I thought it was cool to look at that is not the video or any of the DDoS found this year still a cool find we got the dime a couple of thorns that are non Canadian for Canadian young heads 13 additional Canadians six 1959's and we have that a space for copper had to use a dime box crazy just about as many copper as zinc cents and that is a lot box one is done normally with that many finds I've cut the video off but I want to hunt the other box and I'll tell you I'm looking forward to it just to see what we get in there we found so many Philadelphia minted coins in that box as far as 83 84 98 99 2000 2015 all the years we could check for varieties we only got one I'm not mad we got one but I thought we might catch one or two more all right let me clean up the area get this box started and I'll bring you in on our very first find a box to rule 10 a box 2 or 60 of the hunt and we're gonna get our first wheat cent of this box and it is a 1941 d and we didn't have a 41 d it also make sweet scent number nine teen of the hunt roll 64 weight cent number 22nd of the bank rat box and it's gonna be I don't know Oh a 52 d not as nice as the last 52 t we found but a second one than the less and number 20 of the hunt rule 65 wheat cent 21 just saw it poking out nineteen forty on the nose second oldest of the hunt roll 68 and wheat cent number 22 is gonna be an oldie 19 twenty-nine that is now the oldest of the box oh and yet another Canadian in this box rule 69 of the hunt and we're gonna have we'd sent number 23 it's another 44 but it's also another find roll number 70 is gonna have a wheat sent ender I think it's a 52 T let's find out that we'd sent ender is indeed a 1952 D we'd sent 24 still at a rule 70 or 20 of the box and we've got literally 31 canadians but i bring you in because number 32 it's gonna be a 1938 kg 2/6 that is a beauty he'll look nice next to the three young heads already found in this box as well rule 72 not trying to show the canadians but I will show the kgs that's for sure we've got another one 1943 beautiful rule 75 is gonna have wheat sent number 25 it looks old from what I can see we've got a 98 P here let's just make sure it's not a white a.m. and it is not let's take a look at this wheat set another 1929 wheat sent number 25 is our second 1929 of the box same role in a few coins later is we'd sent 26 a 1953 Denver and yeah a few more Canadians for the collec see own roll number 80 wheat cent 27:57 Denver roll 82 is gonna provide us with wheat sent number 28 and it's a 1939 another one in the 30s - in the 20s - in the 30s all the rest 40s and 50s roll 87 we'd sent 29 we're almost at 34 the two box hunt and that's a 1945 out of Philly rule and he's gonna give us wait said 30 laid him out hit the very back pops the reverse of who eats it 1953 Denver rolled ninety-nine out of a hundred and weight sent 31 the 1957 from Philly well holy cow guys we did it 100 rolls hunted 50 customer wrapped 50 bank wrapped all from New York State it was a very very fun hunt it took a lot of time I'll tell you i scoped more pennies in a two-box hunt than I've ever scoped mainly because of the sheer amount of Philadelphia Mint airs that were produced from the 70s all the way up to even 2015 on the dee-do on the shield scent that being said we only found one variety I really thought that I'd find either a 98 or a 2000 YTM possibly another 95 d do maybe if I was lucky I'd score my first double deer from 84 97 even 88 but I didn't I've been on the lookout for an 83 DDR couldn't score that either and no 92 close Am's but I'm not mad we were able to get 31 wheat cents in the two boxes - from the 20s 1929 s both and that 1930 from the 30s as well as in 1939 the rest of them are just your average everyday common weed cents still fun to add to the collection that box alone yielded 72 modern Canadian cents unbelievable five young heads and 2 kg sixes 79 Canadian cents in that Bank box I don't know if I'll ever break that record you guys up there New York please let me know have you seen a box with 79 Canadian cents I've seen him before that I've hunted with 20 or 30 but 79 is ridiculous we got another 650 9s including one pretty nice one right there and then to 69 s's neither of which was a DDO of course the find of the hunt without fail is going to be this 94 p DD r FS 801 summer between 62 and 64 mint state I know I keep jumping back but the more I look at it the nicer it is but being as picky as I am I just don't see it ever gonna be higher than 65 but I don't think it's lower than 61 62 at the absolute bare bottom minimum either way puppy is 75 to $100 find and that makes me super happy I stayed true to the New York State box a lot more copper just enough to fill up the cup not a dying box this time but if I add that Cup plus what we had in the dime box we filled an entire diamond box probably twelve pounds of copper unbelievable hopefully you enjoyed this two box hunt I know I did and if you did I'd appreciate a thumbs up and as always everyone happy hunting and thanks for watching
