Rare Book score at a House Clean out

hey so we are at jeans I just picked up these crystals and I got the Indian bronze we are gonna go over to this huge book lot and the people were the one person was what an archaeologist Jean yeah and the other guy was a professor of Navy naval history so there's this huge library and we're gonna go try to rescue some some great books I know I saw a lot of stuff from the 1700s so I don't know hopefully you guys find it interesting we'll see once we get over there all right so this is all the books we got this book or this room here we have this room over here we have all those they're got these over on this side and then this these books over here so there's a there's a lot of books will yeah I can see that but basically we're gonna we got to clean out the whole house but we're just gonna try to find the value of the books today oh there's a lot of junk on the back porch and then over in here there's another shelf of books that's sellable these guys were the ones that I was interested in Oh that's pretty darn cool but so you've got all these really nice ones all right so we're gonna start fun everything in here is pretty nice that was pretty cool another pillars lots of different lenses telescopic one that's the rarest thing what illunga nice hell is coming to see the the mark Wow it's all brass telescope yep well like going this this month's option that's pretty neat yeah oh this is what I wanted to show you guys so I started making boxes of books that started in this corner the coolest thing I found so far since I just started spine so it's all it's an analyst let's see what your is just really pretty a little bit of water damage on that one this one doesn't though but all hand colored beautiful maps lots and lots and lots of leather-bound books so just trying to try and separate as much as I can I'm not a huge expert on this but uh I know some of it know a little bit about books so I mean I know anything from the 1800's 79 Hertz is definitely very very good but more the sets like some of the sets are really nice but I'm sure I'm missing tons and tons and tons of value without you but we're gonna just keep on picking as we go I know right now I'm just trying to pull all the leather-bound stuff and anything that has the Victorian cover I really need my I need a book I need a what's it called I need a book scanner Nass that's what we need so what we should download it before we came here well just for the new books it doesn't it doesn't do the old books but it does new books alright we'll get back to you what that's what I just found pretty darn cool make jeans day hey Jean I found something good here bring that over to him make this day it's a nice-nice o'clock uh-huh nice one okay oh no you're fine that's pretty impressive bring them this one see what he thinks and here's one more but it's not a French I'm putting it right on these nice tables so yeah this one I think it's nicer than the mantle one there's so much stuff all right next so I just scored this radio most of this stuff is all going to to auction Jean runs an auction house I was brought in to sell the books so I'm gonna show you guys the books we picked out and so far I got 20 boxes of books put aside it's mostly like Greek and Roman history these guys if you look them up they're actually worth a ton of money it's the 11th edition so it's done this one says 13th all right there was another one that was 11 but there's a bunch of these antique antique ebooks and like this guy right here so like this whole section is my guess is 1700s so it's just super super neat but I'm gonna bring this to a book auction see the date on it right there by my finger 1604 but it's just yeah it's nice that it has good AC in here but so all these books in here just I'm gonna leave them last until I get where I want to go but just gonna show you guys this one 1785 so but the could be a really good one in here we don't know not until I bring the auction the deal is since I've I'm s with the books I didn't get any of the furniture or anything or or the cool artwork I get a percentage of the books for pulling out all the old ones and bringing them to auction so I mean I still have to go through the books in the garage it's just 90 degrees in humid today so I don't see it happening right now I have also have to run up the berm field so once it once we get back from Broomfield we'll do the rest of this garage I guess that right here is pretty darn amazing so alright everybody thank you very much for watching I hope you've enjoyed this video of going through the house and pulling out some antique books so if you can subscribe I I need a thousand subscribers before YouTube recognizes me as worthy channel so we only got like four or five hundred so if you haven't pushed a subscribe button if you can thank you peace
