hey everyone today I'm going to be ranking every Six Flags park in the United States of America I have not been to Six Flags Mexico or Laurent so unfortunately those Parks will not be included in this ranking but once I'm able to visit those Parks I will update you guys on where I rank them before we get into the ranking I want to go over a few things real quickly first of all my rankings will be based only on the dry Parks as I have not been able to visit all the Six Flags water parks secondly this video is based off of my own personal experiences and preferences so it is basically guaranteed that some of you will disagree with me since we all have different opinions and experiences at these Parks feel free to let me know what you disagree with and what you would change about my rankings in the comments after you watch the video I love reading your guys's comments and hearing your thoughts and opinions with all that out of the way I would like to ask you to quickly drop a like on the video and subscribe to the channel it only takes two seconds and is completely free and it helps the channel out a lot now let's get into the ranking in last place at number 13 we have the Great Escape The Great Escape is a strange part to say the least it has some decent theming and pretty good flat rides and occupies a pretty large chunk of land but The Coasters here are terrible at least for the most part when I visited Alpine bobsled was closed and I wasn't allowed to ride the kitty coaster so that left me with Comet flashback Canyon Blaster and steam and Demon out of all the rides I rode at this park the only one that I enjoyed was Comet it is a classic wooden coaster with some decent air time and is pretty smooth for its age and overall a good ride it was somehow running two trains on a random weekday so that was nice because I didn't have to wait long none of the other rides at the park were running more than one train but it wasn't a problem because the park wasn't very busy the day I went the next best coaster at this park is Flashback the become a boomerang not much to say about this ride it's your typical Boomerang layout and when it comes to roughness it was about the middle of the pack from what I've written not unbearably rough but not particularly smooth either after flashback we have Canyon Blaster an aero Mine Train Canyon Blaster was definitely one of the less enjoyable Mine Trains I've ridden very janky and rough and overall no real point to the ride I wouldn't say it is bad but definitely a one and done ride for me lastly for the worst ride at the park we have Steam and Demon this is an aero Looper Corkscrew clone with the classic layout consisting of a loop and a couple corkscrews I typically don't mind these rides but I can tell that Steam and Demon has not been taken care of because it was running so rough and was quite the painful ride so overall the ride lineup at the Great Escape is crap although I would still recommend coming to this park if you are passing by to get a few rides on Comet into snide credits Great Escape is an interesting part to say the least but I highly doubt that Six Flags will invest anything major into it so it'll probably be staying in last place for a while next up at number 12 we have Frontier City the only Six Flags theme park this park is extremely small but actually has some really great flat rides and roller coasters albeit only a few of them but before we get to the rides I want to talk about this Park's strong suit which is the theming I gotta tell you this park does not at all feel like a Six Flags park Park the wild west theming is on par with Parks like Knott's Berry Farm and is very immersive and fun unfortunately the theming isn't enough to score a higher spot for Frontier City though because they only have a couple roller coasters they aren't bad ones but I would still take pretty much any of the other Parks wide lineups over this one the best ride of the park is Diamondback and arrow shuttle coaster I had never ridden this model of Costa before visiting this park so I didn't really know what to expect and what I got was a ride with ejector airtime and two intense inversions if you ride in the back you get insane air time on the first drop and a moment of uber intensity going backwards to the loop but I prefer the front on this ride because the backwards drop is one of the most ridiculous ejector moments I've ever experienced so much fun the other star attraction at Frontier City is Silver Bullet a Schwarzkopf Looper and I'm quite the sucker for schwarzkopfs unfortunately for me though it was closed when I visited which I've heard is quite common for both Silver Bullet and Diamondback I definitely think that this park could have placed a spot higher if Silver Bullet was open because it could have potentially been the best right at the park but I'm still grateful that Diamondback was open and I still had a fun day despite its closure the next best ride at the park is still lasso of a coma suspended family coaster all of the new genvakoma family coasters are a lot of fun and this ride is no exception it's obviously nothing insane but that's not what it is meant to be it is made to be enjoyed by the family and it accomplishes that perfectly Wildcat is the Park's wooden coaster and while it certainly isn't bad it really doesn't do much I rode it near the front and in the back and didn't get any air time on any of my rides I will say it was a smooth ride and still somewhat Fun by no means a bad ride for this park but it certainly is one of the weaker wooden coasters out there the last coaster to talk about at this park is Frankie's Mine Train not much to say about it besides it is a kitty coaster and I got to ride it so that was cool that's all the coasters that this park has to offer but before we move on to the next Park I want to talk about a couple other rides at Frontier City first of all Quick Draw is a well-themed and very fun shooting Dark Ride and I definitely recommend that you check it out when you visit the park they also have a log flume that starts you out in a pitch black tunnel and has a decently large drop it was quite fun lastly I want to talk about Gunslinger this is a flat ride that I had never experienced before coming to this park and still haven't seen it another Park and it was very fun it has a decently long cycle and you get lots of great hang time as you tilt to the side and flip overall Frontier City is a great park for the family with awesome theming and I would definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area but it leaves a lot to be desired for a thrill seeker like me thus it's ranking near the bottom of this list next up at number 11 we have Six Flags St Louis this park is one that I enjoyed a lot during my visit but looking back it is still in the lower tier of Six Flags parks this park has a few great rides such as Mr Freeze reverse blast Batman and American Thunder however it has a few mediocre and bad rides as well you have another vakoma Boomerang which we will see a lot of today in case you guys couldn't tell a relocated half Arrow half of a coma Looper in ninja that is hated on too much but still not amazing a pretty rough but still enjoyable wood coaster in the boss and a horribly rough wooden coaster and Screaming Eagle like I seriously don't get how people enjoy this ride I had back pain for a few days after riding this in the boss the other two coasters here are a pandemonium spinning clone which is a decent spinning ride and River King Mine Train which is a pretty good aeromine train but really nothing special the three rides that carry this park the most are Mr Freeze Batman and American Thunder those are this Park's top three in that order let's talk about them starting with Mr Freeze Mr Freeze is a very fun launched Coast poster with some intense elements and good air time on the vertical Spike I really enjoy this ride and even sneaked into my top 50. this Park's Batman clone is the best that I've ridden when I went it was running so fast I felt like I was gonna fly off the track it was so intense it also has a unique color scheme compared to the rest of the Batman clones which are all yellow or blue so I appreciated that too American Thunder is the best wooden coaster at the park but it is still a pretty mid GCI if you ask me it's a fun ride just not very intense and there's only a little bit of air time overall the Park's lineup is pretty well-rounded but one of the old rough wooden coasters could definitely benefit from getting rmced that would most certainly bump this park up a few spots when it comes to operations most of the rides in the park were running one train but it was pretty dead when I went so I was still able to get everything done pretty quickly every ride was open and the staff was friendly so no complaints here overall Six Flags St Louis is a fun park and with a few good additions it could move up to the mid tier of Six Flags parks next up at number 10 we have Six Flags Darien Lake this is a park that I feel is quite underrated although the coaster collection is nothing to boast about they do have a pretty decent top three one that tops St Louis is for sure the best ride here is ride of Steel an intimate hyper coaster it has a great first drop some fun airtime moments and a great setting over the lake the helixes do get a little repetitive but they don't hold the ride back too much in my opinion the next best ride in the park is tantrum a gerslauer eurofighter this ride is very short but it has a pretty steep drop in lap bars for restraints so you get some nice ejector on the drop and some decent Hang Time on the inversions to round out the top three we have Predator the Park's wooden coaster this is a ride that gets a ton of hate and I don't understand it sure it is kind of bumpy but it was nowhere near as rough as people claimed and it had some pretty good Air Time much better than what I was expecting after this Park's top three the Ryan lineup does fall off quite a bit you have a decent air Looper in Viper Mind Eraser a horrible SLC and another Boomerang clone a kitty cluster that I wasn't allowed to ride and lastly Moto coaster I'm willing to bet that motor coaster is a fun ride but I wouldn't know because it was unfortunately closed when I visited either way I still enjoyed this Park's top three quite a bit and was able to spend a whole day here the park was quite dead when I visited so to No Surprise they were running one trend on everything and I know they only have one train for ride of Steel so I'm sure that line can build up quite a bit on busy days the park setting is quite Scenic with a few lakes and lots of greenery and I really appreciated it most Six Flags parks consist of a bunch of concrete so I appreciate the more scenic parks such as this one Darien Lake may not have much to offer but what it does have is pretty good and is enough to sneak into the top 10 Six Flags parks at number nine we have an extremely underrated Six Flags park and that is Six Flags America the reason I say that this park is underrated is not because it is an amazing Park but rather because it is nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be Six Flags America may not have the greatest roller coaster a collection and their write-ups may not be great but their top two roller coasters are amazing and to me they easily make up for everything wrong with this park in my opinion the best coaster at Six Flags America is batwing of a coma Flying Dutchman Nighthawk was closed when I went to Carowinds and I never made it to Kings Island before they removed Firehawk so batwing is the only Flying Dutchman coaster I've ridden and I gotta say I loved it the flying elements are all super fun and not a single turn felt out of place and the moments where you are lying on your back are very intense I really like the vertical loop on this ride as it is unlike any other vertical Loop out there you get such a strange and intense sensation traversing through it on your back the heart line rolls at the end of the ride are also very fun as you take them with a good bit of speed nice and low to the ground overall batwing is a very underrated flying coaster and it is worth going out to get a ride on it the second best ride of the park for me is Superman ride of Steel a mirror image of ride of Steel at Darien Lake many people rank this as the best ride at Six Flags America and I completely disagree it is a great ride but batwing is much better in my opinion aside from that I don't really have much to say about the ride besides the fact that it is slightly worse than the original Darien Lake because the original uses the terrain perfectly but Superman at Six Flags America is plopped on a flat field so it kind of seems out of place on top of that Superman has worse restraints than the original ride of Steel at Darien Lake has the classic intimate t-bars one of the greatest restraints ever Superman has t-bars as well however these have metal pieces on the sides and shin guards which make the restraints slightly more restrictive and uncomfortable I don't think they hinder the ride too much but of course I would have preferred regular t-bars oh well aside from the top two this Park's coaster lineup is pretty mid they have wild one and old but decent wooden coaster Raging Cajun a typical spinning Mouse coaster Firebird the worst b m and one of the worst rides that I've ever ridden Roar a pretty bad wooden coaster with some rough patches and little to no air time Mind Eraser a vacoma SLC that I wasn't able to ride and Joker's Jinx a fun outdoor flight of fear clone that is better than it gets credit for they also have a kitty coaster that I was able to ride that being great Chase Six Flags America was surprisingly running two trains on all of the main rides during my visit which was a pleasant surprise since most lower tier Six Flags parks only offer one-train operations overall Six Flags America is not necessarily a good Park but it is nowhere near as bad as people say and is definitely deserving of its rank here in the top 10. next up at number eight we have Six Flags Discovery Kingdom this is a park that I went into with pretty low expectations but despite that in this park having some of the worst operations I've ever seen I actually quite enjoyed my day there as I just said the operations at this park were horrendous all of the rides in the DC area were closed at Park opening and it took them over three hours to get them all up and running so if you go to this park I would recommend going to the right side of the Park first but either way I was still able to ride every coaster at the park except for their intimate impulse flash Vertical Velocity for some reason I just have horrible luck with these impulses always seem to be closed we'll talk more about that later on this list but when it comes to the rest of the rides at the park they actually have a pretty decent underrated lineup the best ride at the park is Joker an RMC hybrid created from Roar a clone of the ride we just talked about at Six Flags America I gotta say joker is such an improvement over Roar as all rmcs are it took what was probably the second or third worst ride in the park and made it the best Joker has a super unique layout for an RMC consisting of a super steep drop with a lateral snap to it the world's first step up under flip and a bunch more turns inversions and of course ejector airtime so many people complain that joker doesn't have enough air time and I just don't get it just because the ride's sole Focus isn't air time doesn't mean it doesn't have any and I actually quite enjoy the Lesser focus on airtime compared to other rmcs because rather than the airtime moments feeling repetitive they feel more unique and fun overall Joker is nowhere near the worst RMC and an amazing ride in my opinion after Joker most people would rank Medusa as the second best coaster in the park this makes sense since it is one of the best Flawless coasters out there but for me Superman ultimate flight is the second best ride in the park Superman is a Skyrocket two clone by Premier rides and while I normally don't find these rides to be anything special Superman is awesome that is because most Skyrocket twos like the electric eel at SeaWorld and tempesto at Busch Gardens have comfort collars which are some of the most annoying restraints ever they are just unnecessary but Superman does doesn't have comfort collars it just has lap bars so it takes an okay ride and amps it up a couple notches you get way more air time and hang time without the Comfort collars and overall it is just a much better ride so with Joker at number one and super one at number two that leaves Medusa at number three as I said before it is one of the best floorlesses out there super smooth decently intense and I really like the straight first drop not much else to say about it just an average ride in my opinion but after Medusa is where the ride line it becomes not as great you have Batman which is our first SNS free Spin clone of the video some people think these are good some people think these are bad I enjoy them but I would rather ride other things so they are usually a one and done for me the rest of the lineup consists of two kitty coasters in Cobra and Road Runner Express another dracoma Boomerang clone a decent but not great spinning coaster in Sidewinder Safari and Kong which is by far the worst roller coaster I've ever ridden Kong is of a coma SLC clone just like the ones at Darien Lake in Six Flags America but for some some reason Kong just runs so much rougher there is nothing good about this ride it is a torture machine do not ride it anyway pretty much everything was running one train when I was at the park but the Park's two most popular rides were both running two trains those being Joker and Medusa two train Opps at a lower tier Six Flags park was nice to see and there was a decent bit of people waiting to ride those two rides so it probably helped me out a lot when it came to being able to ride everything there's one more thing that we need to talk about before we move on to the next Park and that is the animal exhibits that they have at Discovery Kingdom prior to visiting I didn't know much about the park besides for the roller coasters and so I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a decent amount of animals ranging from sharks all the way to lions having these animals definitely added a nice touch to the park and made it feel distinct from other Six Flags parks overall Discovery Kingdom is not a great Park but it does have some great rides and deserves a lot more praise than it receives now we're at number seven the exact middle of this list and when I think of the park that is the most average out of all the Six Flags parks One Park comes to mind Six Flags Over Texas this Choice may be shocking to some but I promise that I have good reasons the first of which being the parks ride lineup one could argue that this park doesn't have any bad roller coasters at least not any that are too terrible but I feel as though one could also argue that this park doesn't have any truly amazing coasters either sure new Texas Giant Shockwave are very good and Mr Freeze of course is great as I talked about its clone over at St Louis earlier but I still feel as though this park is missing that one Elite coaster that could push it over the edge to becoming one of the best Six Flags parks you see afternoon Texas Giant Shockwave and Mr Freeze there really aren't any great rides at the park you have a Batman invert clone which is one of the better ones but still nothing unique that sets this park apart you have another SNS free Spin in Joker two kitty coasters Runaway Mine Train which is a decent but not great aeromine train runaway Mountain which is a weird indoor coaster lavibora a bobsled coaster that is unique but not too exciting a pandemonium spinning coaster clone Judge Roy Scream an old but decent wooden coaster and Titan a near clone of Goliath at Magic Mountain I know we went through that kind of fast but looking at all those coasters I don't see anything more than average it's almost like it's all filler I'm not trying to bash on this park by the way the top three is pretty good and the park setting is quite nice they also were running 2 trains on most of their rides with pretty decent operations so the park experience was great overall it's just that this Park's coaster lineup can't justify a higher spot on this list the coasters at the parks coming up are simply better so I have to rank them higher but being in the middle of this list isn't so bad they already have a lot right at this park so with a few improvements and new rides the park could certainly move up a few spots near the top of the list real quick before we move on I just wanted to mention that Six Flags Over Texas opened a new ride this year that being Aquaman a mock rides power Splash it was supposed to open a few years ago but kept getting delayed so it wasn't open yet when I visited so that's why I didn't mention it with that out of the way let's move on to the next Park next up in number six we have Six Flags Over Georgia barely missing out on the top five I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who would rank Six Flags Over Texas above Six Flags Over Georgia and that makes a lot of sense because Six Flags Over Texas has a more rounded lineup overall Six Flags Over Georgia doesn't have a launched coaster while Over Texas has Mr Freeze and Six Flags Over Texas this is Schwarzkopf Looper and RMC Shockwave and new Texas Giant respectively are in my opinion better than the Schwarzkopf Looper and arm seed Over Georgia those being Riddler's mind better and twisted Cyclone so you might be wondering if Over Texas has all of these things that are better than Over Georgia why is Georgia ranked higher on this list well I have a few reasons but the main one is one ride the best ride at the park and in my opinion the best b m hyper Goliath Goliath is the only b m hyper that I've ridden that delivers ejector airtime and it does this on every single Hill especially on the return run to the station it is the most intense b m hyper I've ridden and was just so much fun way better than I expected it even sneaked into my top 10 coasters that's how good it is in my opinion Goliath is way better than anything that Six Flags Over Texas has so that alone is enough justification to rank Over Georgia higher for me but there are a few other reasons why I ranked this park higher as well one of those reasons is that this park has the original Superman ultimate flight flying coaster there are two other clones that this ride that we will talk about later but the one Over Georgia is the original and uses the terrain perfectly so it is by far the best in my opinion sure the layout is a bit repetitive with it consisting mostly of turns but the first drop pretzel Loop and final inversion before the brakes are all super fun and intense moments plus not a lot of parks have flying coasters so it is always a plus in my opinion as I mentioned earlier Six Flags Over Georgia is home to a shortcropped Looper and an RMC the Schwarzkopf here is Riddler's Mindbender and in my opinion it is one of the better ones decent air time on the turnarounds and pretty intense through the loops I can't say the same about the Park's RMC though Twisted Cyclone is by far the worst RMC hybrid in my opinion now of course it is not a bad ride it's a really good one but compared to other rmcs it has a lot of flaws you can't really go wrong with the first drop on an RMC but the drop on Twisted Cyclone is so short that you barely get to enjoy it before it's over and that feeling basically describes the whole ride it is such a short ride it is over in a Flash and I feel like the elements on it aren't unique or forceful enough to justify its short length as I said before it's not a bad ride but it could have been a whole lot better in my opinion when it comes to the rest of the rides in the park they have an aeromine train one family coaster with another on the way this year a pretty fun but slightly rough lacoma Looper and blue hawk a good gerstlower and Daredevil dive another good Batman invert clone a pretty bad stand of coaster in Georgia scorcher and Great American Scream Machine I have heard from some people that great American Scream Machine is pretty rough so I went into it kind of expecting a bad ride and I gotta say it wasn't as bad as people say it is it wasn't a great ride of course not very forceful or anything but it was bearable when I visited the park it was decently busy but not slammed or anything they had two trains on the main attractions like Goliath and twisted cyclone and one train on a few of the smaller rides and that's sufficed the Ops weren't the best here especially on Twisted Cyclone but they weren't terrible either and I was able to ride everything in a few hours overall Six Flags Over Georgia is a really fun park and I can't wait to visit again next month at the start of my Florida trip we have now made it to the top five best Six Flags parks if you were to ask me which Parks I would prioritize visiting I would most likely tell you one of these Parks every Park from here on out is very good and the rankings are somewhat interchangeable depending on your preferences but of course I will be sharing with you how I rank them up let's get into it at number five we have Six Flags New England this park has an amazing top two roller coasters that many parks would dream of having and on top of that they have a pretty decent supporting lineup the top two of course are wicked cyclone and Superman the ride we'll get to which one is better in a minute though the first thing that I want to say about Six Flags New England is that is pretty small especially for how many coasters it has but in my opinion it is definitely not a bad thing it is super easy to get around the park and each ride is very close to the next so if you get to the park at opening or go on a slower day you should be able to ride everything no problem also the parks ride operations were very good and they were running two trains on everything that was capable of it so if the operations are good and the rides are good what is holding this park back from being higher on the list well in my opinion the parks roller coasters are pretty amazing but there is one in particular that isn't as spectacular as people say and that is wicked Cyclone now don't get me wrong it's not a bad ride and is nowhere near the worst RMC but it gets so much hype as one of the best rmcs out there and I just don't understand it it has a good first drop plenty of good air time and of course some fun inversions but the pacing during the second half of the ride really suffers overall it is a great ride and definitely number two in the park for me but it is not as Elite as people say so if Wicked Cyclone is the second best ride in the park that obviously leaves Superman is the best Superman is an intimate hyper coaster and it is not a clone of the other intimate hypers at Darien Lake and Six Flags America it is an original layout and a truly great one you have an amazing first drop a first half full of camelbacks that deliver sustained air time and a Twist or second half with great positives and laterals overall it is a pretty great ride and my only complaint with it is the restraints this ride used to have intimate t-bars but unfortunately there was an accident and they had to change them to some extreme extremely bulky lap bars either way though Superman is a great ride after Superman and wicked Cyclone the park has little Revenge the best SLC that I've ever ridden it has the new vakoma trains with Vester strains so it runs much smoother this allows Riders to actually enjoy the extremely intense layout the park also has a decent floorless coaster in Batman The Dark Knight an old but good wooden coaster and Thunderbolt two kitty coasters and a wild mouse they also have three clone rides those being an SNS free Spin of a Como Boomerang and a pandemonium spinner none of these clones are bad but they definitely don't really stand out either as I said earlier the ride lineup is really great overall but I do believe that the parks come up have stronger and more complete lineups so Six Flags New England will be placed here at the bottom of the top five and number four we have Six Flags Great America Great America is one of the Premier parks in the Six Flags chain and it has received some great additions over the past few decades it is highly debated what the best coaster in this park is but they certainly have a clear top three those three rides being Goliath an RMC topper track Woody Raging Bull a b m hyper and Max Force an SNS compressed air launch while I can see Arguments for Raging Bull and Max Force Goliath Takes the Cake for me it may be a short ride but the 180 foot drop is breathtaking and both the zero g stall and dive Loop give some amazing Hang Time the turnarounds may be a bit dull on this ride but I feel as though every other element hits I after Goliath most people would rank Raging Bull at number two if not at the top spot but for me Max Force is the second best ride in the park maxforce has the fastest accelerating launch in America and you can feel it like Goliath it is a short ride but the launch is breathtaking and the barrel roll is so intense so I still really enjoy it Raging Bull is the number three ride in the park for me and while it is nowhere near bad it is certainly one of the weaker b m hypers it has less of a focus on air time which isn't really a bad thing it's just that I prefer the ones that do focus more on air time after the top three most Parks lineups dwindle down quite a bit but Great America still has plenty to offer they have a super unique Wing coaster and X Flight which has some great near misses and fun inversions Great America also has four wooden coasters including Goliath but the other three are American Eagle a fun intimate racing coaster Viper a clone of the Coney Island Cyclone that is quite fun and Little Dipper a family wooden coaster they also have a kitty ride in sprocket Rockets and one of the best wild mouse rides out there in darkness Dark Knight takes your regular old wild mouse layout and turns it up a notch it feels like you are flying through the turns way too fast on top of that it has an amazing cue and awesome online theming it is basically a dark ride Great America also has some clone rise as it seems all Six Flags parks do it has an SNS free Spin the original Batman invert which was unfortunately closed during my visit a Superman ultimate flight clone which is a fun flyer and Demon which is the same layout as demon at California's Great America demon is a pretty good air Looper nothing too crazy but still pretty smooth and fun there's also a Schwarzkopf jumbo jet called wizard Great America and while it was cool to ride one of these rare coaster models I didn't think it was great the transitions are pretty rough and it definitely is an outdated design it was still fun though there's one other ride at this park that I haven't talked about and that is their intimate impulse The Flash Vertical Velocity as I said earlier in the video I have horrible luck with these impulses which always seem to be closed for me and Flash was no exception oh well hopefully it will be open next time anyway the ride opposite Great America were really good two trains on everything in solid dispatches one other thing I will say about the park is that the theming and park atmosphere is pretty great there are clearly themed areas in the park is clean and well kept Six Flags Great America is a park that has the potential to be the number one in the chain I simply feel that the upcoming parks on the list do a few things better than Great America so for now it will stay here at number four next up at number three we have Six Flags Fiesta Texas the most scenic Six Flags park Fiesta Texas is a park that has everything that I look for in an amusement park great rides great operations and good Park atmosphere with pretty decent theming the Quarry wall that this park is built next to is very beautiful with its rocks plants and waterfalls and the rides that interact with it do so perfectly unfortunately only a few of them do but I'm sure there will be plenty of great additions in the future that will continue to make use of this when talking about this Park's ride lineup most people would point to Iron Rattler as the best ride in this park and while I do agree that it is an amazing RMC I feel that the best ride in the park is the Prototype single row poster Wonder Woman Wonder Woman and rail Blazer at CGA are the best single rails by far because they have an extremely intense and Whippy layout that packs a punch every time these rides have the best pacing I've ever seen or felt on a coaster and some seriously great air time too the only thing holding these rides back is how short they are and I have heard Wonder Woman has gotten pretty rough too so I may change my mind next time I visit the park but for now I think it's the best ride in the park and in Texas it's a controversial opinion but it's what I really think and I'll always tell the truth to you guys in these videos of course after Wonder Woman Iron Rattler is second best for me Iron Rattler is a ride that could have been the perfect RMC but I feel as though there are a few moments that don't hit as hard as they should and the ride ends pretty quickly the first drop is amazing as all RMC first drops are but the turn following it does nothing for me I actually enjoyed it when it went on top of the Quarry wall despite people calling it The Quarry crawl I still got airtime and hang time on the inversion and we all know how amazing the drop off the Quarry wall is but after that all you really get is a couple more turns into the brakes which is why Iron Rattler just feels kind of incomplete to me it's still a top 5 RMC hybrid for sure just not the best the next best ride at the park is the new b m dive coaster Dr diabolical's Cliffhanger this ride has the best theming I have seen for any ride at a Six Flags park with multiple pre-shows and after all that the ride itself is really great too definitely one of my favorite Dives the Beyond vertical drop is fun and it has a pretty decently long and forceful layout for a dive coaster after the top three this park still has plenty of great coasters to offer you have the Clones in an SNS free Spin a Batman invert clone but this one called Goliath a pandemonium spinner of a coma Boomerang and Poltergeist Poltergeist is a clone of Joker's Jinx at Six Flags America but Poltergeist has a very well-themed q and station which elevates this ride for me Fiesta Texas is also home to Superman which is one of the better floorless coasters out there it does have a bit of a rattle but the layout is intense and makes use of the Quarry wall so it is quite fun road runner express is the Park's Mine Train and it is a pretty good one nothing too crazy as it is meant for the family but it has a pretty long layout with some fun dips and turns this park also has a kitty coaster which I was allowed to ride and that's always nice the park was running two trains on everything except for the two rmcs while I was there it was strange to see two of the more popular rides on one train but I'm assuming it was for maintenance reasons so I'll give it a pass this time either way though the operations were good overall one of the best parts about Fiesta Texas is the park atmosphere and theming I know I already talked about the theming a little bit with Poltergeist and Dr diabolical but overall the park is themed pretty nicely there are clear themed areas and for the most part all the rides in these areas make sense Fiesta Texas is a beautiful park with some great rides and I could definitely see it becoming the best Six Flags park if it keeps getting a good amount of investment from the company alright we are here at the top two parks so obviously once I share with you guys what number two is you will know what number one is but before I do that I just want to say one thing both of these parks are great and pretty interchangeable and I wouldn't be surprised if I changed my opinion multiple times in the future as I get more visits to these parks and they get new additions I wish I could rank both of these Parks as number one as it would make my job a lot easier here but that would feel like a cop-out so I took a lot of things into consideration and came to a decision so at number two we have Six Flags Great Adventure Great Adventure has an extremely stocked lineup but obviously the best ride at the park is El Toro El Toro is a ride that I believe to be the best in all of the Six Flags chain it is also my number one wooden coaster and number three coaster overall so as you can tell I love this ride the first drop on this thing hits so hard in the back it feels like an RMC first drop and those two massive ejector Hills afterwards give some of the most sustained and strong air time on the planet after the first drop and Hills the ride dies down a bit in the middle but it finishes off with the bang with the Rolling Thunder Hill and the low to the ground turns I have heard some people complain that this ride is rough and I honestly don't get it it is a wooden coaster that is smoother than some steel coats posters yes it isn't perfectly smooth but I don't want that in a wooden coaster as I'm sure a few of you know there have been a few accidents with this ride so they are retracting it and reinforcing the support structure right now so it should be as smooth as ever when it reopens overall El Toro is an amazing ride and it strengths more than make up first weaknesses I love this ride so much and cannot say enough good things about it when it comes to the rest of the parks lineup after El Toro I will say that it is very strong with a lot of good coasters but none of the other coasters at the park managed to make my top 50. they are all rides that I would classify as almost great the first one we will talk about is King Naka the ride that I have ranked second in the park King Deca has a truly gut punching hydraulic launch and soaring up the world's tallest coaster is such a rush but it is over so fast and that is why smaller launched coasters like accelerator and stormrunner made my top 50 but Ka didn't what it has is great but there just isn't enough for me still an amazing ride though and I don't get why people call it rough it's not too bad the next best ride in the park is Nitro for me Nitro is one of the weaker b m hypers as I have it only above a polished Chariot and Raging Bull but it still has pretty decent floater air time and is a fun ride the first drop is great as always but I did find that the air time on the camelbacks of this ride was slightly weaker than the standard for B M's also the Helix that everyone claims to be super intense did pretty much nothing for me but it was still a fun and good ride overall just nothing crazy after Nitro we have Jersey Devil which is the weakest RMC Raptor in my pick don't get me wrong it's a fun ride but the smaller ones have way better pacing and more intensity and when it comes to the clone of it well we'll talk about it soon but for now let's just say it is superior after the top four of this park we have the Clone rides as all Six Flags parks do they have an SNS free Spin a Batman invert clone a Superman flyer clone and Dark Knight a clone of the Dark Ride wild mouse from Great America earlier they also have Medusa which is a floorless coaster that was later cloned Medusa is a fun floorless definitely one of the better ones but I don't think it was fantastic it was a little bumpy but not unbearable and the theming added a nice touch overall it's a good ride but I think people overrated a little the park also has an aero Mine Train that being Runaway Mine Train they have a way over hated stand-up in Green Lantern they have skull mountain which I believe is the same ride as runaway Mountain from Over Texas and they have two kitty coasters those being Harley Quinn crazy train and little devil coaster so yeah the park may not have a ton of standout rides but El Toro is amazing that top four are pretty good and the rest of the rides do a good job supporting the ride operation is a great adventure were pretty good when I visited they were running two trains on all the rides and four trains on Jersey Devil this was great because it was a decently busy day but I was able to ride everything pretty quickly the only ride that wasn't running at Max Capacity was El Toro and while it did stink it wasn't for no reason El Toro wasn't open in the morning then I saw testing later in the day and they removed one of the trains and opened it up so I'm assuming something was wrong with that train which is why it opened late but I still got a few rides in so I can't complain overall Six Flags Great Adventure is a top Tier Park and you seriously need to get out there and visit it if you haven't yet I really wanted to put it in the number one spot but my gut told me that it needed to stay here at number two so for the best park in the Six Flags chain we have Six Flags Magic Mountain now I know what you may be thinking home park bias you're only raining at number one because you've been there the most times and to that I say bullcrap I have been to Magic Mountain more than any other Six Flags park that is true but rather than that may making me see it as a better Park and that's allowed me to see the park at its worst and find many flaws with it to be honest I wanted to rank it a few spots lower but that would have been biased of course I had more fun at parks that I had never been to before with rides I'd never ridden before but when looking at things objectively and fairly I have to put Magic Mountain on top this park has an almost unbeatable ride lineup with 20 roller coasters and for the most part they are really good ones this park may not have the best operations but they usually run two trains on the busier days closed rides have been an issue at the park but I'm going to be ranking it assuming that all the rides would be open during a visit because I have ridden everything here and I've ranked every other Park based off of the rides I was able to ride so it's only fair the best ride at this park is a highly debated topic but for me it is X2 no question X2 is the most insane roller coaster that I've ever ridden it is unlike anything else and you seriously have to try to see what I mean people complain that it is unbearably rough and I do agree that it has gotten rougher lately but the ride is so good that I will still gladly marathon and if it has a short line the first drop in Raven turn is ridiculous and although the turn after that is a bit of a dead spot the rest of the ride more than makes up for it the end is the roughest part but it is also the most intense part I love the final Raven turn where you get ripped towards the ground then shoved into the brake run when you ride this get it in the back and if you want it to be as smooth as possible ride an inside seat and pin your head back during the whole ride when I do these things it is more than tolerable for me so yeah X2 is fantastic after X2 my number two in the park is Twisted Colossus this is a dueling RMC hybrid where you get to ride both sides and lately this ride has been criminally underrated this ride was designed to duel so it does suck when the ride Ops are so bad that you don't get a duel but that isn't enough to justify ranking this ride lower for me you still got two awesome RMC layouts with great inversions and air time and if you do get that coveted duel it is magical many people have this ride ranked as number one in the park and I can see why it is smoother than X2 and has something that X2 doesn't have air time so I completely respect anyone who ranks it higher but for me it's number two next at number three in the park is Tatsu Tatsu is the best flying coaster I've ever ridden it has the Perfect combo of graceful turns and inversions and intensity the pretzel Loop is absolutely insane and by far my favorite inversion that I've ever written the ride is massive and you really feel like you're flying when you ride it overall it is an amazing coaster and one of the best at Magic Mountain Magic Mountain has one of the best top three rides out there but after that the lineup falls off a bit there are still plenty of great supporting rides but none of them come close to the level of the top three the supporting lineup consists of Wonder Woman which is the improved Jersey Devil comb that runs faster in a slightly longer apocalypse a super underrated and fun GCI Full Throttle and West Coast Racers two fun Premiere rides launch coasters Riddler's Revenge a good stand-up coaster Revolution which has the first modern loop on any coaster and Superman a fun 100 mile an hour launch coaster that is 400 feet tall I will say Superman is not as intense as you would expect for its stats but it is still a great ride Magic Mountain has a few aerodynamics coasters including gold rusher the oldest ride in the park ninja a fun family suspended coaster and Viper a super underrated Mega Looper sure Viper may be rough but it is super intense when you get some great Hang Time on the final inversions other people can hate on this ride but I love it Magic Mountain does have a bunch of awesome and unique coasters but they also have some clone rides as all Six Flags parks do they have a Batman b m invert scream which is a clone of Medusa at Great Adventure and Goliath Goliath is a ride that I mentioned way earlier in the video as I said that Titan was a slightly modified clone of it and yeah Goliath is basically Titan without a helix before the brake run if you have watched any of my other videos you probably already know how I feel about this ride but it is a waste of potential it is a ride that is over 200 feet tall yet has basically no air time so yeah not a great one but some people like it that is 16 out of the Park's 20 coasters so what are the other four you may be wondering Kitty coasters there Kitty coasters yeah sure this Park's coaster count isn't flavor by this but I don't hate it more than half of the rides at energy landia are clones and kitty coasters and I don't see many people complain about that so it's whatever overall Magic Mountain is a great park with some awesome roller coasters and decent Ops depending on the day it has its flaws as all amusement parks do but I truly believe it to be the best Six Flags park thank you guys so much for sticking with me
