so just like in all of my other ranking videos I do like to have a complete playthrough done with every single one of these things before I do rank it onto a list and the reason for that is because it just adds more validity to the list itself now for the ashes of War I didn't do a playthrough with every single one because obviously some of them you can't really do a playthrough with but if you did want to check out those runs a majority of them will be on my VOD Channel you can see it on this channel you can probably see it on Twitch as well but yes for today we're going to rank all of the ashes of War which are just going to be the regular ashes not going to include the unique skills I'll probably end up doing that video at a later date so definitely do subscribe for that but as for the criteria as always it's going to be based on how useful it is in PVE so something might be really good but if it's outclassed by something else it's going to be less useful hence it being lower on the list now before I do get started I just want to give a quick shout out to my guy Steven the test dummy he's been with me for like over 2 years and this guy has just not had a break the entire time so definitely give some love to my boy Steven in the comment section starting off in the Ft right at the bottom we have skyshot which this is a skill for a bow and Bows I'd never going to really be that good of an option because they don't really get as much damage which is guess is kind of necessary because if they did do really good damage and had these good scalings they'd probably end up being really broken because they're basically projectile attacks that you can use with any build they don't require any FP and you have access to like every single status effect and that whole concept does sound kind of broken so the trade-off is is going to be pretty poor damage but as for Sky shot this thing is especially useless because it shoots an arrow into the sky that takes like 5 Seconds to actually land and hit its location and has zero tracking so so therefore if an enemy just moves even the slightest little bit to like the left or the right it's just going to miss the damage isn't even that good and the most comical thing about this if you use the rain of arrows asore without any FP it basically does the exact same thing as skyshot it's arguably even better because the projectile travels faster so the only use of skyshot is basically like a guaranteed headshot for enemies that like around the wall but you can't really lock onto an enemy that's like around the wall and if you did want to headshot somebody you can just aim down sights it's just going to perform better number 90 storm wall now this is a Parry that basically works just worse than a regular Parry you get less Parry frames but the trade-off being is that actually can deflect and Parry projectiles but it's only like just certain types of projectiles like throwing knives fire bombs and arrows which obviously those things are incredibly hard to dodge like having to strafe to the left or to the right requires a lot of skill yeah it doesn't it's not that hard to dodge arrows I don't really know why this thing is basically just meant for that don't know why it doesn't at least get the same amount of Parry frames as a regular Parry I don't know why this thing doesn't like deflect like physical types of spells that would have been cool at least number 89 Enchanted shots now this is a weapon skill for the bow again and as I said bows are just not going to be that good in this game and Enchanted shot doesn't really help it much either this skill actually does track towards enemies and actually can go really far so in a PVE setting it might be somewhat useful but the damage is not going to be that good so it is going to be very situational I know people use this to farm the bird in mn's Palace but you can just aim down SES to do the exact same thing so you don't really need to use it and it's like very loud as well number 88 we have the kick now the kick basically just is meant to just break Shields and that's about it and there's not many shielded enemies in this game and kick was just way more useful to have in Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 3 because more enemies were shielding and it was a part of your base kit it wasn't just like a weapon skill which I understand why they did remove it because plenty of people were probably like accidentally kicking but it would have been nice to just leave it as a setting to turn it off and on cuz having it as a skill is kind of useless it is going to be the default skill that you do have if you are bare fisted so you can like switch off your weapons to kick an enemy Shield but there's plenty of skills in this game that can break enemy Shield so it's not really going to be that useful now getting into the D tier we have Mighty shot now this is another skill for the bow and it's basically just meant to have as like a sniping type of option because using it as a damaging option is not going to be that good the animation is way too long the best way to do damage with bows is just using rain of arrows or using like the jumping attacks and Landing attacks that you get with a black bow or smaller types of bows that's is going to be way better DPS so something like Mighty shot is going to be very situational 86 we have Shield bash a skill for the Shields and shield bash is going to be somewhat okay in terms of like you know just hitting enemies while trying to block at the exact same time albeat the damage isn't going to be that great nor is The Stance damage it does like eight or nine stance damage but you can just like spam this skill and actually does block pretty quickly as well so if you wanted to trade out with enemies it actually can be somewhat useful but like the damage isn't really quite there and something like endure or Barra arcade Shield can kind of do the same thing but just way better 85 we have barrage which is another skill for the bows and this one just like fires off a bunch of arrows in quick succession which does sound pretty useful in terms of like DPS or maybe like proing status effects but it takes a lot of those barrage arrows to actually proc status effects you could probably do it quicker with just like your jumping attack Landing attack combo that you get or better yet with rain of arrows just a much better weapon skill it would have been cooler if like the arrows fired off a bit faster but I guess if that was the case it' probably make it a bit more annoying for PVP but yeah in a PVE setting it's not really that useful number 84 we have no skill I don't really know where to place this thing and its only use is to be put onto a shield to where you actually can use the ashore of your main weapon and actually like you know have a shield on at the exact same time and not have to like constantly switch back and forth which is like a use but like you know it's just counteracting a slight little inconvenience 83 we have storm stomp now this is going to be something that's more useful for PVP because in a PVE setting it doesn't really do much cuz the whole purpose is as meant to stagger enemies and you can stagger enemies perfectly fine with so many weapon skills in this game pretty easily because yeah the damage is not going to be that good The Stance damage is not going to be good either and a lot of enemies don't really get staggered long enough for you to have like a guaranteed followup anyway number 82 we have life Ste fist now life Ste fist actually can be very useful against a bunch of different enemies but against most things in this game is essentially just useless because it is going to work as a grab attack can do some nice damage it actually does scale off your AR so you don't necessarily need to go into like an Arcane type of build and actually does give you a bunch of health regen too and for pretty cheap and a quick animation you can't really go wrong but yeah the only thing that I can be used on would be like smaller humanoid types of enemies and NPCs because against everything else you just can't really use it number 81 we have preet charge yeah this thing is is like it sucks like the only viable way to use it is to pair it alongside the great Stars so you can get some nice health regen and some nice blood loss build up because yeah you can only use this skill with larger types of weapons but yeah like the damage just sucks it's a very long animation you're going to get hit like every single time consumes lot of stamina the recovery frames are really bad it does terrible stance damage like all of your damage is going to be coming off bleed which bleed is good to have but if bleed is like your only source of damage it's not that good because every single time that you proc bleed it's going to take longer and then longer to proc it again and by the next time you know it it's going to take like a whole last minute until you proc bleed again which if this thing actually did do more damage it probably might be a little bit too broken against those smaller types of enemies but the way it stands right now if you wanted to stun lock enemies and do some nice blood loss build up with a larger weapon you could just use storm Calla which you'll see much later on this list and if you just wanted health regen with a large weapon you could use prayerful strike it's going to do way more damage give you way more health for much less FP it is going to be a much better option number 80 we have shared order now this skill is basically just meant to kill skeletons and death right birth because it serves as an aura buff that does boost your damage against those Undead types of enemies now being that it is an aura buff it's not going to be able to stack with golden Val which golden Val is much more useful to have but the reason why this is still going to get lower on the list spite me actually recommending it against all those Undead enemies is because the golden epap has a weapon skill called last rights that does basically the exact same thing but it just adds more damage to Undead enemies so that one is going to be more useful so if you are going through like Dungeons or fighting those death right Birds I'd recommend just picking up that one instead and you don't really get it that long into the playr but until you do grab the golden epot using shared order is still perfectly fine and it doesn't have any requirements so you can't really go wrong now getting into the C tier this tier is going to be for the stuff that just kind of is directly outclassed by something else or is this going to be very Niche now starting off we have Holy Ground which is a skill for the shields does leave this like cool holy pull on the ground that does give you some more health regen and damage dation it's roughly like 20% damage dation and 17 HP per second but it does only last 30 seconds now I'm not too big of a fan of this because if you leave this little pool on the ground you're going to want to stay inside of it and the more you try to stay inside of it the worst that you're going to play and you're more likely than not going to get hit and it kind of just defeats the purpose of just having this more health regen because if you just played normally you probably wouldn't have gotten hit but it does pair nicely alongside weapon skills that do require you to stand still and have like a longer animation with some Hye Rama you could pair nicely alongside those so it's just like a very Niche type of use number 78 we have war cry now this is a buff of which actually does add 7.5% more physical damage more strength and actually do change up your heavy attacks now for certain types of weapons I don't really like the change to the heavy attack like straight swords or great swords I would never really use it but but for polm weapons the heavy attack is actually really good does lunge very far to this nice poking attack and if you pair this alongside the RO Medallion you actually can get 15% more damage throughout the entire duration now this does sound really good but the reason why it's going to get lower on the list is because brackets roll kind of just outclasses it it adds more physical damage adds damage dation and stamina regeneration speed now the trade-off being is that the animation to cast it is going to be a little bit longer although it's not that much longer and you have to two hands a weapon for bracket roll whereas for walk cry you can just leave it one-handed to boost of that different types of heavy attack move set number 77 we have th's barrier or topsters barrier I don't care how to say his name don't really like the guy anyway but this weapon skill is just going to be the only Parry option that you really want to use on your Shield if you don't want to consume FP because it basically works the exact same way as a regular Parry but just gives you like the added option of just parrying spells too which is not going to work against most spells in the game but there are some particular types of ones that you can parry and the fact it doesn't consume FP is kind of cool but yeah paring in this game I don't really find that useful because in a lot of cases it actually is pretty hard to pull off and sometimes you have to Parry multiple times just to be able to get your repost attack and in most cases doing a posture breake is just going to be way easier and net you a very similar reward and obviously powering does actually require you to have a shield or particular types of weapons too which does like hurt the ability to actually power stance or just have like a seal or a staff in your off hand number 76 we have a golden slam now this is actually a a pretty nice AOE attack does some nice stance damage you basically get like infinite hyperama soon as you click the button you basically like not going to get staggered out of it now it is going to be close range and the animation isn't like too quick so you're probably going to trade out more times than not but the main reason that's why it's going to get lower on the list is because ground slam just works the exact same way but better because it doesn't do holy damage now obviously one is for a strength build the other one being for a faith type of build but if you have a Faith Build and you want to be able to like you know do an AOE attack or proc stance damage pretty quickly there are other typ of spells or skills in the game do work a lot better number 75 we have poison moth flights which this is basically like having bleed damage but just for your poison types of builds but being that both kind of require Aran anyway you're just better off going with a bade type of build because it's just going to do more damage and proc it a lot faster because the way that this actually works is that you have to proc poison first and once you use this weapon skill it will do like a chunk of damage like 5% damage plus 250 damage on top of that which is honestly not that great especially because things like Frost and poison can hit for like 15 to 20% more damage and do it a lot quicker and a lot more consistent without having to do this like stupid short range animation but I guess it's only used is to basically use it as a bleed alternative against enemies that can be proed with poison but cannot be proed with bleed which is like a very few select in the game and honestly for only 5% damage you're just better off using any other type of weapon skill that could just do more damage anyway and just let the poison just wear off because it does also remove the poison which kind of does suck but I guess if they just left the poison there and you just did 5% damage every single hit I guess that'll be kind of broken number 74 we have a gravitus which this is going to be an AOE attack that does like suck smaller types of enemies in which I guess is kind of more gimmicky than anything pretty more useful for PVP cuz there's not really many circumstances to which I would rather have an enemy be closer to me I'd probably rather have them be further away especially if I'm using like a projectile type of attack but yeah the trade-off for this thing actually having this gimmick is that it does pretty bad damage which is the reason why I don't really care to use it and if you actually want to use something similar to gravitus you can use the B's Lord sword this weapon skill basically works the exact same way but goes like twice as far does more stance damage and this does way more damage as well and being that this thing actually does scale of intelligence there are plenty of intelligence-based spells and skills in this game that just work better as a projectile as a damaging option and as an AOE number 73 we have spinning weapon now this weapon actually can be equipped on a bunch of different types of things like pole arms and pairing it alongside a bleed type build can actually output a lot of damage you can proc bleed pretty quickly now the downside for this is that you have to be pretty close it doesn't really like you know go out that far so trying to hit with this thing can be somewhat of a problem I do recommend like being perpendicular to your enemy to where like you can just hit with like the side of the blade and it could probably make it have a bit more range but yeah with a blade type of build this thing can actually melt and Shred enemies but the reason why I'm not going to still want to use it or put it higher on the list is because storm caller and spinning strikes can do the exact same thing but just way better and way more consistently number 72 carrying great sword I'm not sure why this thing is actually in the game when carry and grandor exists that you get at the exact same location and is is going to be the better version because you can just charge it more to just do even more damage because carrying great sword can be charged a couple times whereas carrying grander can be charged three times which I'd rather spend that extra like you know2 seconds to charge it up a third time to have even more damage and even more range than just charging it up twice because the second charge of carrying great sword does actually do more damage than the second charge of carrying grandor but if you're using a skill like this that's going to have like a long animation I'd rather just go with the other option so yeah I don't really see much of a use of this thing number 71 we have sacred ring of Light which this actually does do a pretty decent holy projectile attack doesn't consume much FP does go relatively far now the reason I don't really care or like it at all is because the Halos Scythe basically gets the exact same skill but just way better because it goes further does more damage more stance damage and it does stagger enemies too this thing doesn't even stagger smaller types of enemies but it does have the use of actually being an ash of War so you actually can just like switch back and forth between different types of skills so if you have like a flame arton fusion with like a pole AR or something like that when you're fighting an enemy that is like weak to Holy damage you can switch to the sacred ring of light but honestly sacred blade is going to be the better thing to do that with because it's just going to do more damage against those enemies that are weaker to Holy which like the only enemies in this game that are weak to Holy damage are the undead so and sacred ring of light doesn't boost the damage against Undead number 70 we have storm assault which this is going to be more for PVP so on a PVE list is this going to be lower on list because this thing staggers like nothing the tracking is kind of [ __ ] the animation is a bit too long the recovery frames are pretty long too so you're just going to get hit like every single time that you use it and for like 22 FP there's so many skills in this game that can just perform way better do like just as much stance damage and a quicker animation yeah this thing is kind of mid number 69 nice we have carrying retaliation now this is another Parry skill can be equipped onto a shield actually gets the exact same amount of Parry frames as golden Parry but it does consume more FP but the trade-off being is that I can par spells and actually does turn those projectiles into your own type of attack kind of like a homing fance type of attack which can be kind of cool but unfortunately it just does a flat like 150 damage per projectile I don't know why it doesn't scale of intelligence it would have been like a lot better so it's only going to be something that's like useful for like early game but the reason why I'm still going to put it like not that lower on the list is because it does have some nice Synergy with The Wraith calling Bell you could just use this tool and end up powering that tool and it can summon the projectile attack which is kind of nice number 68 we have Val of the indomitable another Shield based weapon skill that does give you a bunch of ey frames for like 20 FP so this thing is going to be extremely situational because it does give you a lot more eye frames than like a regular Dodge roll would so for certain types of attacks that you can't really Dodge with just like a regular roll this thing can be somewhat useful applications for this that I can think of would be like first phase rard with that stupid AOE attack you can perfectly Dodge the horor L like massive Earth Shaker explosion attack you can also Dodge the pla dox nuke attack as well and you could just use it to to like just learn an enemy's move set just keep spamming it back and forth but once you learn how to dodge certain types of attacks I'd rather just not use it and just save the 20 FP so this thing is going to be very situational number 67 we have stamp sweep now this weapon skill when you do the stamp you get a bunch of like Hy RoR you don't really take much damage and you do get a follow-up spinning attack that can do some nice damage it hits multiple times it might pair nicely alongside certain types of status effects but for me I'd rather have stamp upward cut because it's a much faster projectile can do more stance damage and like it yeets enemies up into the air which stamp sweep doesn't like send enemies flying so I don't really care for it much and if you want a skill that actually gets some nice amount of hyperama there are lots of other things you'll see on this list that can just do that and just do way more damage number 66 we have Earth Shaker now this is a skill that already can be equipped on larger types of weapons and actually does serve as like an AOE attack that does scale off your strength and you do get a follow-up input as well that can like send enemies flying and do a nice amount of stance damage now the problem with this is that for an AOE attack things like ground slam and horor loots earthshake are just going to perform better cuz they're going to go further have a quicker animation and consume way less stamina and also probably just do more stance damage too which is probably the problems with this thing does consume a lot of stamina the H RoR isn't really that good and also the range of the AOE doesn't really go that far so you're probably going to trade up more times than not with its longer animation number 65 we have Parry just the regular Parry skill which if you're going to use a shield I recommend just using like golden Parry or phs's barrier instead because they can just give you more Parry frames but the use that this thing actually does have is that you can equip this on like daggers and fist weapons and even rapers so if you actually wanted to power stance with those weapons and just have like an offhand option to Parry it can be useful but as I mentioned earlier parrying is not going to be like that amazing in this game not many enemies can be parried and in terms of some bosses that can be parried sometimes you have to Parry them multiple times just to be able to actually get the repost off and like stance breaking is going to be like a very similar reward that's much easier to do so there might be certain situations where paring is more useful but it's very far in here number 64 we have charge forth which this is going to be like another skill that's more useful for PVP because in PVE it's not going to do that much damage it's not going to stun loock all types of enemies it is going to consume a lot of stamina as well and for the amount of damage that it does do with poking types of attacks there are going to be other things that you can use that's going to do way more stance damage consume less stamina in a much faster animation now being that actually does hit multiple times it could be useful with like status effect types of builds but there are other skills in this game that can hit multiple times that can also stunlock enemies that are probably just going to perform better number 63 we have a golden land now this skill very similar to Earth Shaker can only be equipped on like larger weapons and has like a very similar animation and it does do like a bunch of different stuff but it doesn't do like anything really well like it has like a short range AOE attack but that AOE attack is not really that high damaging doesn't like send enemies flying you do get an option of like a follow-up swinging attack which also doesn't really have much range does actually do some nice dance damage but the stamina cost is a lot higher too and the projectile attack does go really far but the damage isn't going to be that great and it does holy damage as well which if you're going to go with a Faith Build which this thing does scale off they're going to be much better projectiles out there but I guess it's only use is that if you do have like a large weapon like a great hammer or a colossal weapon and you were fighting an enemy that is weaker to Holy damage you could potentially switch to this and then sit at the back of the map and just keep spamming the projectile but in almost every other instance in the game you're better off using something else because the damage output is not that great number 62 we have white shadows lure now this thing is actually pretty useful if you're familiar with like alluring skulls from the previous games it kind of just is like a weapon skill version of that it throws out a dummy projectile and enemies get aggr towards it now not all enemies obviously but most enemies in the game will get attracted towards it and you could just use it either to just run away or just get off a fully charged heavy attack or just use your highest damaging things to punish these enemies and for only consuming 15 FP it can be pretty decent now for me personally I don't really care to use it much because if I want to run through an area I could just run and Dodge it's just going to like work just as well this might be something that's more situational for like no hit runs or challenge runs in general and I don't like the fact that you get it like right at the end of the game in a complete [ __ ] off location if this thing was accessible earlier on I feel like a lot more people would use it number 61 we have a determination now this skill actually can be equipped onto all types of weapons and actually does boost the damage of your next attack by 60% so pairing this alongside some charge attack types of builds can be really good now the reason why it's going to get lower on the list is because Royal Knight resolve works the exact same way but just better it does 80% damage damage instead so basically the only purpose of determination is to use it until you gain access to Royal not resolve and then you just switch number 60 we have poisonous mist and poisonous Mist does proc poison very quickly summons a poison Cloud does also just add more poison to your weapon itself now I would never use this as a primary based option I would have it like equipped on like some random dagger switch to it at the start of the boss fight proc poison potentially proc Buffs like the kindered RO exaltation and then switch back to your main damaging things because actually can proc poison pretty quickly especially with an occult type of build but the reason why I still not going to Value it that much is because poison is just not that good in this game you do like 4 to 5% damage over like a minute and a half which is basically nothing the only reason I'd really want to proc poison is to be able to proc those Buffs like I mentioned with Kinder Ro exaltation and the Mushroom Crown now getting into the B tier this is going to be very similar to the C tier but instead of like being average and situational or outclass it's just going to be pretty good but situational or outclass now starting off with we have assassin's Gambit which this is going to be a pretty decent stealth-based skill that's mainly going to be useful for like a challenge runs or no hit runs because in a regular casual setting it can be nice to have to go through certain types of dungeons or high level areas or be able to play in stealth and get a bunch of backstabs off which could be nice but there's not really much that Assassin's Gambit can do that Crouch walking can't already do or just like running through an area anyway but this thing actually does decrease AGG range by a whole bunch and make a lot of enemies very unaware number 58 we have Raptor of the Mist now I really want to like this skill because because it actually does serve as a nice iframe Dodge that goes directly into a jumping attack doesn't consume much FP in fact it only consumes FP once you do use it also doesn't consume any stamina but there are going to be some things that I do not like about it one you have to do it at a standstill position when you're using jumping attacks you get to like move you know horizontally more vertically go further and be able to close the distance with a jumping attack whereas if you're just jumping directly up and down you're not going to be able to hit that far away another annoying thing about this it doesn't actually go through grab attacks or status effects even things like Destin death or a black flame effect you're still going to take that damage over time millenia's healing effect it doesn't counteract that either so I kind of wish that it did work as like a regular ey frame and then maybe if it did like a bit more bonus damage to Jumping attacks after you do successfully get the weapon skill proed it might be more useful but if you do have a power sensing jumping attack type of build that focuses on damage then Raptor The Mists might be one of your better options number 57 we have Shield crash now if you do have a great Shield this is probably going to be the skill to use because it does unlock enemies really nicely a lot of enemies can be cheesed like those smaller enemies they basically get like zero openings with a skill like this and be that it does hit multiple times you can pair alongside status effects like bleed or Frost and you can just output even more damage even The Stance damage isn't even too bad as well and even against enemies that cannot be staggered is still going to have somewhat of a use because you do actually block at the exact same time while you are attacking so you're not going to be taking much damage as well and if you have like a pretty decently leveled great Shield you're not going to be taking much stamina or damage either so it actually can be a pretty easy way to trade out with enemies and more times than not you're probably going to win that trade now the reason why I'm not going to put it higher on the list is because it still is a shield the damage output is not going to be that great a lot of shields don't really get that great of scalings so once you go to like later levels or new game plus you're definitely going to notice very severe damage fall off number 56 we have a golden Parry which this is going to be like the best Parry skill to have it gives you the most amount of frames actually can be used at a distance as well being able to Parry things that are further away is just always going to be really nice means it kind of like limits and removes the risk of having to be closer to an enemy so missing a Parry is probably not going to be as detrimental but yeah being able to get like somewhat of like buckler Parry frames with like a medium Shield is actually pretty good now the only trade-off being is that it does obviously consume a little bit of FP but once again paring in this game is going to be like more situational CTI enemies is going to be really good to try and Parry against but against most enemies in this game posture breaking is just going to be the better option so this thing is not going to be like my favorite skill to put on a shield but it is still pretty good number 55 we have trolls Roar now this weapon skill is very interesting the first part of the skill actually does this nice AOE attack that can send enemies flying and do high amounts of stance damage actually can do 40 stance damage with just the roar attack itself which to put that in comparison that's just as much as like a great sword with Lion's claw and after you do this attack you actually get the option of a high damaging follow-up attack that actually can do upwards of 40 stance damage as well so you can actually output like over 80 stance damage with this entire combo now the problem is the second part of the skill is way too long and obviously it's not going to really go that far as well you do get some nice hyper armor but you're just going to take a whole bunch of damage or probably just miss so for me the optimal way to use this is just to spam the first part of the skill and just do some nice dance damage and a nice AOE you can probably posture a lot of enemies around you in that one hit but I'm still not going to really like it that much because there's other skills in this game that can do just as much dance damage and just do actual good damage as well and sometimes even in an AOE but it actually is still a pretty decent skill number 54 we have sacred order now this skill is a weapon buff that actually adds 10% more Dam damage to your weapon which does sound pretty decent although crack blad is is going to outclass it in the damage department but one thing that actually does do instead is boost your damage against Undead types of enemies and stop skeletons from Reviving and actually does do 100% more damage to Undead enemies now the useful thing about this is it actually does add the buff to both of your hands and this actually does include your seal and your stuff so if you actually want to do more damage against those Undead enemies like those death right Birds you could just use this skill go ahead and start using some spells holy pots other weapons doesn't really matter what it is you're just going to be doing essentially twice as much damage towards the boss and kind of just makes holy damage just useless in general as well because like most of the enemies that are weaken to Holy damage in this game are going to be the undead enemies and the fact that you just have multiple Buffs in this game like sacred order last rights shared order all these things that which most of them can actually be stacked with one another you can pair this one alongside last rights and just do like 300% more damage to a death right bird with any single type of build you don't really need a holy type of build or faith at all number 53 we have through and through now this weapon skill is going to be the default skill for the great bows it's going to be essentially like Mighty shot but just for the great bow as it just does more damage with a longer animation but what makes it more useful is because as the name suggests through and through it actually does go through enemies and against larger types of bosses it actually can hit them multiple times and output a lot of damage but it's not even just useful against those types of bosses even against smaller enemies that can get staggered it can just send them flying now a lot of these enemies can actually input raid however the cool thing about bows is that if you just aim in a different direction and this use the aim down sights function enemies won't actually input read it at all of which you can just cheese them so easily like look at what it's doing to Millennial the first phase can just be trivialized with this thing but once again great bows and regular bows aren't going to be like the best damaging options and if you did want to get the highest amount of damage out of a great bow using the regular attacks are going to be much better to have in like almost every other instance but obviously thr and through does have its uses number 52 we have repeating thrust now this skill actually can be pretty good against enemies that can get staggered can stun lock them nicely you can actually output some nice damage because it is hitting multiple times pairing it alongside the multi-hit talismans or bleed types of builds can perform pretty nicely but against those larger types of enemies that don't get staggered it's not going to be that good because you have to be at closer range you get stuck in a longer animation and the Damage output with this particular skill isn't really meant for trading so if you actually wanted to use a skill that can actually proc bleed and hit multiple times pretty quickly they're going to be other things that can do that that are much less risky and if you just wanted access to piercing type of damage in poking attacks things like impaling thrust and piercing Fang are just going to perform way better and just do much more stance damage too number 51 we have Loretta's slash now this skill I see it very similar to how I see repeating thrust and that it's going to be better for smaller types of enemies but against those larger enemies it's not going to be as good cuz it can stun loock enemies pretty nicely it does lunge pretty far have some nice range you're going to get way more stance damage with Loretta slash than you would with repeating thrust but against those larger types of enemies the damage output is just not good enough for the trade you can get a little bit of hyper armor which is kind of nice but that longer animation that you do have in the longer recovery frames means you're going to get hit more times than not when you do use it number 50 we have barbaric raw now this is a skill that actually does serve as a buff very similar to war cry it doesn't last as long but actually does give you some more damage also does work alongside the RO Medallion and it does change up your heavy attack now the heavy attack combos I'm not going to like them as good as bragget raw or Warcraft because those skills and it Synergy with pole arms are just going to be untouched but barbar Ro can be pretty decent I like that barbar Roar heavy attacks when you PA them alongside those larger types of weapons cuz they can hit multiple times pretty quickly and you compare these alongside the multi-hit Talisman and prob output some nice amounts of damage but in most cases if I'm wanting to use larger weapons and Spam The Heavy attack I kind of want to do it in a quicker animation because the best part about it is going to be it stance damage and having that stance damage be spread out in a longer animation is just not going to be that good in my opinion number 49 we have BL blood hound step I honestly don't know where to rank this thing it's so hard to compare like an iframe Dodge to like damaging weapon skills like where do I even put this thing now yes this is going to be like more useful for PVP probably less so after the Nerfs because like the way to use it is like close the distance or like retreat pretty quickly um in a PVE setting it's probably going to be more situational there's not really many circumstances to where like the 13 eye frames you get with a regular Dodge is not going to be enough maybe that three extra eye frames with blood hound step is going to be pretty useful and the fact that it does go a bit further mean that certain types of attacks could be easier to dodge and sometimes having like a larger or a longer Dodge can be kind of annoying because sometimes it could just dodge past the enemy and you just are not in range to do like a rolling attack and the more that you spam it and like the heavier you are the more recovery frames you have with this dodge and it can honestly have more recovery frames than a regular Dodge roll so using this can actually be more dangerous than just rolling normally and actually can consume more FP number 48 we have Beast roll now this is going to be a dexterity based projectile attack does scale purely off your dexterity stat actually can work with any single type of weapon which is really cool but actually this is a pretty decent damaging projectile attack you can pair it alongside the role Medallion to just further increase the damage and projectiles in this game can trivialize everything very easily this thing is actually extremely good to have obviously I did a play through with basically everything on this list and the Beast play through is one of the easiest but the reason why it's not going to get that high in the list is because storm blade is just going to outclass it it's cheaper you can cast it more often it's going to do more damage it actually can stagger enemies too Beast roll doesn't even stagger are the smallest of the enemies stor blade does more stance damage it actually gets a hit box with the weapon itself so using it at Point Blank Range could just make it do even more damage and Stor blade also does scale with either dexterity or strength whereas Beast Roar is just for dexterity and most dexterity weapons can equip storm blade anyway so there's not much of a use of Beast roll number 47 we have a quick step now as I was talking about with blood hound step it's going to be very similar it's going to just net you a little bit more eye frames going to have a quicker starter up animation so this is going to be easier to dodge with this and being that actually consumes a less FP than blood hound step I'm probably going to like it a bit more now certain types of attacks you probably want to be able to like just dodge further so in certain situations blood hound step is going to be better by being that Quick Step doesn't Dodge too far away and for not consuming much FP I think it's going to be pretty useful especially because after every single Dodge you can get access to obviously your rolling attack and if you dodge sideways or backwards you actually can do a back stepping attack but with certain types of weapons back stepping attacks can actually be pretty decent but for me personally I'd rather just dodge with my regular Dodge roll and just have like an actual damaging weapon skill number 46 we have stamp upward Cuts now as I mentioned with stamp sweep I'm going to like this one a little bit better due to its quicker animation the fact that it can yeat enemies into the air and having a higher stance damage potential but for a hyper armor attack that takes this long to cast there are going to be other things in the game that can just do more damage much more consistently like Lion's claw or giant hunt other skills that you can equip on larger types of weapons they're just going to perform better in my opinion number 45 we have lightning slash now this is going to be like your flaming strike version but just for like Dexter it and lightning instead because yes that lightning attack actually does scale off dexterity now I'm not going to like this one as much as flaming strike because the animation itself is going to be longer actually can be pretty high damaging but being that's like a short range attack you don't really get like a good projectile nor really get that good of stance damage I'm prob not going to value that much outside of the fact that it can actually buff your weapon although if you do stack up on greases this can also just give you the exact same effect actually last longer and then you can actually use like a better damaging skill number 44 we have eruption which this skill can be equipped on larger types of weapons and actually does do this nice damaging shorter range attack you get some nice hyper RoR does leave a big lava pool on the ground and the cool thing about this lava pool if you actually pair it alongside grade Stars it actually can give you some health regen for every single tick and the total overall damage can actually be pretty nice The Stance damage isn't too bad either it's obviously dependent on what weapon that you actually are using but my problem with this thing is that it is going to be a longer animation the recovery frames are not that quick as well you're going to get hit like almost every single time that you use it and there are other types of skills in the game that you can pair along side large weapons that can attack fasta for just as much FP and just do more damage 43 we have Thunderbolt which is going to be a dexterity based projectile attack does lightning damage doesn't really go that far it damage output isn't really that crazy nor does it stagger enemies pretty well but the fact that you have access to a pretty quick projectile attack that can be casted over and over again can be pretty nice but for me if you're going to go with a dexterity type of build and you want a projectile Stone blade is just going to be better because it does more stance damage it staggers enemies you can actually output more damage and it can go like just as far but if you are going up against enemies that are weak as lightning damage then Thunderbolt is probably going to be for you now getting into the a TI this is going to be the stuff that's just really good there's like no other way to explain it it's just really good stuff but yeah rain of arrows is going to be something that you equip onto the bows and it's going to be the most viable way to use a bow because it just rains a bunch of arrows from the sky and obviously hitting with like 20 or so arrows is going to be really good it's going to do a lot of damage especially if you paired alongside status effects it can proc the status effects really quickly and for only 20 FP is pretty decent and the projectile actually travels pretty quickly it can go very far especially if you pair it alongside the arrow reach Talisman you can like cross map things and it can honestly like just cheese a lot of different types of bosses but yes it is going to require using a bow which bow damage is not that great that get good scalings so your damage is going to be kind of capped so using this type of build like later in the playthrough or a new game plus is not going to be that good number 41 we have piercing thing which is a poking type of attack that can be equipped onto poking types of weapons or weapons that actually do get access to piercing damage which piercing damage is probably the best damage type in the entire game lots of enemies awak to it and piercing fanger is going to be an amazing skill to have because it closes the distance pretty quickly it's a relatively quicker animation only 16 FP and you can do some nice amounts of stance damage now the way that I'm talking about it it might seem like it's going to be an S tier but I would never really use this over impaling thrust cuz it does only do like 10% more damage but have like a longer animation impaling thrust is like really quick consumes less FP and doesn't do that much less damage now it is not going to travel as far as piercing Fang but it's not that much further to which I would really want to use it as well especially because they get the same amount of stance damage which the main purpose of these skills is being able to stagger and proc stance breaks pretty quickly which impaling thrust is just going to do it better number 40 we have blood taxs which this is very similar to repeating thrust the only difference being is that this one actually does give you some health regen now as I mentioned with repeating thrust the problem of which I have with that skill is that it is going to be a longer animation and you're going to out a whole bunch against certain types of enemies but with blood tacks obviously you're not going to be doing as much damage but you actually get a pretty decent amount of health regen and trading out with like larger enemies is going to be a lot more viable using this skill and it's not like the damage difference is that crazy either it's only like 10 15% less damage but you just get the added benefit of just more Health which obviously just spamming it in a fight you're just going to benefit more times than not number 39 we have a vacuum slice which is going to be a very nice projectile attack obviously it's going to be very reminiscent of the gargo Black Blade or the blastous blade in terms of how the projectile actually does work and it is going to be directly outclassed by those things because obviously this is going to do more damage but vacuum slice does have the use of being a nice quick projectile attack you actually can equip onto larger types of weapons you can actually put this on a colossal sword and gain access to a projectile attack so if you have a strength build that doesn't have access to any projectiles then vacuum slice is probably going to be your best bet cuz the damage is not even that bad and if you use it a point blank range you can do even more damage even more stance damage and it actually is pretty cheap with a quicker animation you can't really go wrong number 38 we have waves of Darkness now this skill is very similar to Earth Shaker and goldenland basically the exact same animation they are equable on larger types of weapons you basically like just thrust your weapon into the ground does this little bit of an AOE attack and you get the option of a follow-up input that actually does some nice damage and some nice stance damage now the reason that's to why I like waves of Darkness the most is because the AOE actually does go pretty far and actually does hit multiple times but my favorite part about it is it actually does help proc Frost pretty quickly too having this with a cold infusion can actually help proc that frostbite with every single hit and being that it is doing magic damage it's going to scale up that intelligence thatat you can just go all into intelligence and actually do some nice damage too now the problems that I have with this thing is that it is going to be a longer animation but my biggest downside is that it consumes a lot of stamina the entire combo is pretty much just drains the entire stamina barall which is very annoying 37 we have hor Frost stomp now this skill is nowhere near as good as it used to be the damage output did get nerfed pretty heavily but it still is going to serve as a nice projectile attack because it is going to proc Frost very quickly he only takes a couple of costs it is a very quick animation it can be equipped onto any single type of weapon and me that the AOE attack is kind of like a nice wide radius you can hit multiple enemies at once pretty quickly now there are going to be like a couple of downsides to this one it does take a little bit for it to actually explode it does do damage upon impact but if enemies like are more mobile they is going to be able to dodge the follow-up explosion and it does zero stance damage like literally zero stance damage you're not going to posture rate with this thing at all number 36 we have a ground slam now this skill is going to be one of the more underrated ones in the entire game actually does scale primarily of strength actually does get a bunch of hyper armor throughout the entire animation like soon as you click it you're basically like not going to get staggered out of it and you actually can do some nice damage in a little AOE and upon a direct impact you can do even more damage and you can do 30 stance damage which is pretty decent Now using larger weapons and using things like Lion cha is obviously going to be a lot better to have but the benefit of this is that the weapon skill doesn't actually scale off your a it just scales purely off your strength stat so if you're using a smaller type of weapon like a dagger or a straight sword curve sword with like strength type of build you could just use this as a way to just do some high stance damage and high stagger potential cuz typically when you're using those smaller types of weapons you don't really get that stacker potential but with the ground slam you do number 35 we have a Glenstone Pebble now this is going to be like some shorter range projectile magic attack that does scale off your intelligence stat you do get the option of a follow-up poking attack too that can do some nice stance damage depending on what weapon you pair it alongside with and it's not going to be like the most flashy thing and it's not going to go that far but it's a proti attack that only consumes 8 FP does some nice damage in a very quick animation and projectile attacks in a quick animation is probably just the best thing to have in this entire game you can sit at like a relatively safer distance and just keep spamming this thing over and over again and find plenty of success it is just that easy number 34 we have sword dance now this is going to be some cool pering type of skill does close the gap pretty nicely it is going to hit multiple times in quick succession so it might pair nicely with the multi- hit Rings or status effect builds now it is going to be like a longer animation and not really do much stance damage so things like double slash or spinning slash are just going to do like the same thing but better but one thing that sword Den does better than those things is that actually can be equipped on a great Axe because typically these quick moving weapon skills can only be equipped on like smaller dexterity weapons so pairing it alongside a great Axe can actually make it output some nice damage and it can actually close a distance pretty quickly for not consuming much FP number 33 sacred blade which is going to be a holy based projectile now yes holy damage not the greatest thing in the entire game it's actually the worst damage type in the entire game but having projectiles is still going to be pretty good and this is going to be one of the few projectile skills that do scale off your faith stat and the projectile itself does actually travel pretty quickly and it also does leave your weapon with a buff you just get 80 more holy damage which is obviously going to be really nice and actually does do more damage against Undead enemies so fighting those death right birds or going through dungeons I just recommend putting on sacred blade because it can just make quick work of all of those things 32 flame of the red Mains now yes this thing did get nerfed very heavily it was definitely one of the best if not the best weapon skill in the entire game because it was a pretty decent projectile that did amazing stance damage but now it just no longer does that same stance damage you're basically never going to stance break anything with this only does like eight stance damage per hit but it's still going to be very useful because it is a fire based Ash of w so therefore it's going to scale off your strength stat so if you have a strength type of build you could use this as a projectile option and being that actually has a nice horizontal spread you can hit multiple enemies at once if enemies like to move and Dodge around they're still going to get hit by it now in my my opinion this is going to be outclassed by flaming strike because flaming strike can just buff your weapon and just do more damage and actually do more St damage for basically like the same amount of FP but the use that flame of the red Ms has is that it does have very deceptive range like it goes pretty far probably like two or three times further than flaming strike and it can be equipped on any weapon whereas flaming strike you can only equip it on like a few select weapons so any type of strength build or faith build that you have and get a pretty nice damaging projectile number 31 we have glint blade fallings now this is going to be a magical type of tracking projectile skill and the Damage itself is not going to be that crazy you do get like a followup input after you do use it very similar to Glenstone Pebble but the major benefit of glint blade fings is going to be its high stance damage if every single one of those projectiles hit you could do 40 stance damage which that's literally more than like a fully charged colossal sword heavy attack it does that much stance damage so the way I actually would use this skill is have it on like a Mis cord dagger use it at the beginning of the fight and then switch back to your main weapons and you could probably just proc the stce break that way just keep switching back and forth and every single time that you proc The Stance break you can switch back to that Mis record cuz it's going to get higher critical damage and get the repost I made plenty of builds like this using this exact same concept because it is just that powerful and it doesn't really require any type of build because it is an ash of War it's not going to have any requirements if you don't care for how much damage you're doing and you just want the stance damage you could just pair this with any type of build number 30 we have a lightning Ram I don't know how this thing ended up being a good weapon skill but it actually is pretty good starting off with it actually does this cool rolling animation which just doesn't get any eye frames but you're going to be a lot lower to the ground to a lot of attacks just go directly over your head and this thing gets really good damage like the damage output is amazing it is going to scale primarily off your dexterity stat and your dexterity scaling so pairing it alongside a keen INF fusion with a good dexterity weapon is going to make it output really nice damage and for only 5 FP per Som assault it's actually really good the only downside is probably going to be like the longer animation or the startup animation at least um you can just constantly keep spamming it over and over again and and after every single roll you can just like cancel it and just roll out so it's not even going to be like that risky of a skill especially because you're lower to the ground but yeah it is going to require you to be at Point Blank Range so against enemies that are more mobile or skinnier you're probably not going to hit that many times but it still is a very fun skill to use 29 we have horor L's earthshaker now this skill is very similar to how I view ground Slam in that it's just going to be a nice strength based projectile to have alongside smaller types of weapons because typically when you're using strength based builds and it can produce some high stance damage or stagger potential that way but if you have like a smaller strength based weapon you're not going to stance break or stagger as quickly of which horror lose Earth Shaker is going to be doing that in a nice AOE too now the starting up animation is actually pretty long but that Roar attack actually does do roughly 15 stance damage and you do get some nice hyper armor but when you slam your hand onto the ground that AOE attack can do an additional like 20 to 25 stance damage in a very large AOE and then you get an additional input afterwards that can do even more stance damage and the entire combo can do like roughly 60 St damage in a large AOE which is kind of insane now unfortunately the second attack doesn't actually get hyper armor like the first one so you're probably going to get staggered out of it more times than not but for me I just like having projectile attacks and very large AOE attacks because that means you can hit multiple enemies nicely and beat a safer distance number 28 we have Phantom slash which this is going to be one of my favorite skills in the entire game actually it's going to be one of the more High seiling types of skills too this thing actually does summon this Phantom that actually can track towards the enemy and then you can just follow momentarily afterwards to also hit with your pole AR which yes this thing can only be equipped on polearm type weapons but the reason as to why this is really good is because it only consumes 8 FP and with both you and the Phantom hitting you actually can output some nice damage and you do get a follow-up input as well unfortunately that followup input doesn't like slide towards the enemy you're only going to be staying in spot now the reason that's to why I like this a lot is because you can actually make the Phantom go in One Direction and then you can go into another Direction so you actually can hit multiple enemies at once you can also just send the Phantom out in like a projectile attack and then you can just go in a complete opposite direction and it's going to safety you can use it as like a mixup you could just use it randomly and if you notice that an enem is about to hit you then you can just dodge into safety now obviously you're not going to be like maximizing your damage that way but at the worst case in that specific scenario you're doing chip damage chip stance damage and you're going to be in cover it's actually pretty good number 27 we have endure now this skill can actually be equipped on all weapons in the game and for 9 FP you get a whole bunch of hype Rama and you get increased damage absorption by 40% now the skill does only last 3 seconds but in that 3 seconds you can just use whatever crazy ass broken heavy attacks power stancing combos you actually have and not really take much damage it's not really going to be get staggered out of it either and with how fast the animation actually is and how little stamina it costs it can be one of the easier skills to use and one of the easier play Styles if you're like struggling to dodge certain types of enemy attacks just use indu just tank the entire combo and just keep hitting them yourself like this play style against the boss is actually really good number 26 we have a double slash now if you think the rivers of blood is overpowered it's not by the way just use this skill just pair this alongside a katana and you basically get a better version of rer blood because this thing is basically the exact same animation but you can just output more damage for like a third of the FP cost and do a little bit more stance damage too now The Stance damage potential is still not going to be that high but the damage is definitely going to be there especially if you pair it alongside the multi- hit Rings now there are two different versions of double slash one for the small weapons and want for the larger types of weapons the larger weapons have like a much longer animation to where I just wouldn't really care for it because double slash itself the entire combo is going to be pretty long so against enemies that cannot get staggered you're probably going to get hit more times than not but you can actually split it up into three different parts so it's not like you actually get locked into that long animation number 25 we have Bloody slash which this is going to be a blood blaz projectile attack does scale purely off your Arcane stat doesn't actually scale off your weapon level at all and unfortunately the weapon doesn't have a hit boox either so hitting with it at Point Blank Range isn't going to be doing any bonus damage but the way to use this is it's going to be like a projectile attack because it actually does good pretty far it does actually drain a little bit of your health with every single cost it's 5% of your health plus 50 HP which can be a decent amount especially if you keep spamming it over and over again but the damage that it actually can output is actually really good if you're using like an occult Arcane type of build and you were relying on blood loss build up I recommend switching to this against enemies that are actually resist to bleed because this thing actually doesn't do that high a blood loss build up it's only like 60 per hit so you're not going to really be proing bleed with this thing but the damage output is actually really good but yeah against enemies that can be bled out they're going to be better bleed skills in the game like bloody slash or a sepu type of build but the damage that it does output is undeniable number 24 we have a spinning slash now this skill there are actually two different versions there's one for like the larger weapons like halberts and po ARs and one for the smaller weapons like curv swords and katas now the larger version I don't really care for it much it is like a longer animation and in that longer animation there is much better weapon skills to use for these pole arm weapons but the smaller versions especially the curve swords this is definitely going to be one of the better options because you're actually hitting pretty quickly and actually staggering and doing some nice amount of stance damage now if you're using a straight sword or a katana I recommend going with un sheath or Square off because those things could just proc stance breaks a lot better but being that curv sword doesn't really have something like that spinning slash is probably going to be the best option for it especially if you're going with like a status effect build because it's hitting multiple times so it can proc those status effects nicely but if you actually end up hitting with the entire combo you can actually do roughly 30 stance damage probably upwards of 30 stance damage which is like more than a Charged heavy attack and you're doing more damage in like less time and against smaller enemies they're going to get stunned locked but even against larger enemies too it's like a quick animation so you're not really going to get punished much number 23 we have sepu now this one is no longer as useful as it used to be because way back when you could PIR this alongside any type of build and it could just add a bunch of blood loss build up but nowadays it only really adds a good blood loss but up if you have like an occult build with high amounts of Arcane but if you're at that level then sepu is going to be one of the best options especially if you're going to do power scavengers curve sword or cross naginata these are some of the best builds in the entire game and sepu is going to be the best way to use it and with how quickly you actually can attack with these power stancing options you're proing bleed on like every hit or every two hits so it's not going to have many uses anymore but it has a very good use for some of the best builds in the entire game hence it being higher on the list number 22 we have storm Cola now this is a skill that can be equipped on many different types of weapons smaller weapons and large weapons can both use this thing even great hammers which pairing this alongside the great stars is probably going to be for the best cuz you're hitting in quick succession multiple times so can proc bleed pretty nicely and against smaller enemies they're just going to be stun locked and they're not going to be able to move so against like Knights or against Millennia this thing can just trivialize every single one of these encounters and for only consuming like 9 FP for the first few swings and having the follow-up input consume an additional only 11 FP and with a large weapon you actually can output about 50 stance damage in that time too now the only downside about this is that if you're going up against enemies that cannot be staggered in these larger types of bosses it's not going to be that good because you get stuck in a longer type of Animation that you can't really cancel after every single single swing you have to wait for like the animation to finish and in that instance I'd rather just go with spinning strikes I think that one just going to be more useful but obviously it's an ash War so you can like switch back and forth so any single time that you go up against these enemies that can get staggered I recommend is leaving on storm CA cuz it's going to be one of the better ones to do it number 21 we have chilling Mist which this thing obviously is not going to Output much damage but this list is based on the usefulness of which chilling Mist can be used on so many different types of builds honestly any build that doesn't already get access to frost like some intelligence builds or any build that uses fire I would just use chilling Mist cuz obviously you don't want to actually have fire to the take away the frostbite buildup because the whole point of frost is to debuff the enemy to make them take 20% more damage so you can just have chilling Mist equipped onto a dagger use the skill it's going to proc Frost extremely quickly and once it does you do like a flat 7% damage and for the next 20 seconds you're just going to be doing 20% more damage then you can switch back to your main weapons and just like melt the boss that way and after the frost wears off you could just rinse and repeat do it again obviously it's not going to be like your primary based option but just caring it alongside many types of builds is just going to be optimal number 20 we have spectral lens which this is going to be an Arcane ult based projectile attack so yes it is going to scale off that Arcane stat unfortunately you can't really pair alongside strength or dexterity and try and actually get some good amounts of damage but yeah even at higher arane levels the damage output is not going to be good as some other types of projectiles but the one thing that actually does have more so than the other projectile attacks is that it can go very far especially if you paired alongside the arrow reach Talisman you can just like cross map enemies and snipe enemies at very very long distances and this skill can actually do some very high amounts of stance damage and when paired alongside some larger types of weapons like a great spear you could do like 20 to 30 stance damage per hit and for only consuming 9 FP having a projectile that goes that far does that much stance damage and for how easy it is to use it definitely is going to make for one of the better options in the game now getting into the S tier obviously this is going to be like the best of the best stuff starting off with barricade Shield this thing can trivialize the entire game you can throw this bad boy on a bro shield and you can just Spam the skill over and over again and you're basically going to block like every single combo in the entire game if you're trying to Lear an enemy's move set actually you don't even need to learn an enemy's move set you can just leave this on and block everything and it will like hardly even take away any types of stamina and after they finish their combo you can just go hit them with your stuff then just rinse and repeat keep using barricade shield and you can just keep spamming it cuz it does only consume 12 FP ands last 10 seconds so like realistically you're only really good to use this like five to six times in a boss fight so yeah if you like one of the most brain dead play Styles this one is going to be it number 18 we have prayerful strike now this can only be equipped on to larger types of weapons but when you do it's going to be one of the better types of options because it gives you a whole bunch of Health back for every single hit and give you some nice amounts of hyper armor too because yeah for 20 FP you do this like nice high damaging attack that's very reminiscent of like just doing a Charged heavy attack and upon impact you're getting 30% of your health back every single time you don't even need any types of Faith Build you don't need to spec into any faith it doesn't do any holy damage the damage actually scales off your your AR so whatever damage your weapon is doing is going to be the damage of the skill so yeah you can PIR this alongside a heavy infusion go all into strength throw in this skill and you're going to be trading out with every single boss and having high amounts of health and high amounts of vigor which is definitely recommended in this game you're getting so much health back just for hitting one time for only 20 FP and obviously like the larger the weapon that you're using the more stance damage that you're doing and using something like a colossal weapon can make it do roughly 40 stance damage now the only unfortunate thing about this is that it does consume a lot of stamina so it's not going to be really that you spam a whole bunch unless you have a lot of endurance but for 30% HP per hit it's kind of insane number 17 we have carrying grandor one of the better Magic based ashes of war in the entire game this thing can just do ridiculous amounts of damage when paid alongside the correct type of build this thing for 26 FP you can just charge up a bunch of these cool like magical swords and when fully charged this thing can decimate enemies especially when P alongside the God for his icon this thing could just like [ __ ] up every single type of boss and actually can do some nice stance damage too does 25 when you don't have it charged and 30 when fully charged now yes the obvious downside is that you're not going to get much hyperama and it is a longer animation but when you do have it fully charged it actually does go pretty far so you actually can sit it a safer distance and if you end up Landing an attack it's just going to be a GG number 15 we have braget rooll which is going to be very similar to war cry in that you use its skill to give yourself some more damage and change up your heavy attacks but this thing actually also gets the added benefits of not only 10% more physical damage but 10% damage dation and 20% faster stamina recovery speed and it lasts 60 seconds too and my favorite pairing alongside with this would be like the Night Riders glaive or just po arms in general like a lance too because those heavy attacks can go so far they can come out very fast especially when uncharged and do very high amounts of stance damage and P this alongside the axe Talisman the RO Medallion the spite cracked here this thing could just melt everything against it's that good number 14 we have a spinning strikes now this thing I just consider to be the better version of storm Coler because after every single swing you can actually just roll out of it you don't get stuck in a longer animation you actually can output more damage and you do get the option of a follow-up input with a light and heavy attack that actually can just output even more stance damage and stun lock enemies nicely this thing is basically just like the wild strikes but for pole arms now my favorite pairing alongside this would be like those bleed type of builds with like the grave sight maybe the vulgar militia s putting blood flame on this bad boy can just destroy everything it's just really good now the only downside that it does have is just no hyper armor against those quicker types of enemies you're just going to get staggered but with how much damage that it can output and how easy is to actually use it's going to make for one of the stronger types of skills in the entire game but if you are going up against those enemies that can be staggered I recommend using storm caller instead number 14 black flame tornado this bad boy is just an absolute boss melting machine it can just decimate every enemy in the entire game if you get the full combo off it's basically a GG now against like regular enemies it's not going to be like the craziest thing because it does do that percentile damage over time of which percentile damage over time is going to be better against those enemies that have larger amounts of health so going into like like New Game Plus or potentially even the DLC this is going to be one of the better skills to have now it is going to be a flame art skill so is going to scale off that Faith stat but even if you don't have faith just using it with any random build it's still going to Output a lot of damage and if you're worried about the longer animation that it does have you don't really have to fully charge it and also you can cancel it a bit early as well but against those smaller types of enemies it can just stun lock them so you don't even need to have to try and cancel it anyway so with how high damaging this thing is and how good the stun lock potential you might think that it should be like top 10 but the reason why it's going to be low is because one it does consume 30 FP which is on the higher end and it consumes a lot of stamina if you do the entire combo you're going to have like no stamina left to dodge as you have some higher amounts of endurance so it is going to be pretty risky but you're going to be winning that trade more times than not number 13 we have wild strikes now this is very similar to spinning strikes but this one is going to be meant for like larger types of weapons like great axes great hammers because you're hitting multiple times in quick succession so pairing it alongside the multi-hit Rings or status effects can be really good you do get the full-up input as well with your light and heavy attack to just output even more damage and more stance damage but the best thing about this thing is that it does get hyper armor unlike spinning strikes this one gets it so you actually can tank attacks and trade out very nicely and for only consuming two FP for every single swing that you can just cancel and roll out of it's going to make for one of the better skills in the entire game number 12 we're going to have impaling thrust this is going to be one of the better poking type weapon skills in the entire game and you consumes like 12 FP actually does lunge pretty far it's doing piercing damage which is one of the best damage types in the the entire game and actually can output a lot of stance damage obviously depending on what weapon you actually go with pairing it alongside like a lance is going to make it do more stance damage then pairing it alongside a thrusting sword but either way they're both going to stagger enemies pretty nicely and do nice amounts of damage but like the best part about it is going to be how quick the animation is you're doing this much damage and this much stance damage in that quick of an animation that's lunging that far this thing is quicker than like a Charged heavy attack you can basically use it with every single opening that you do have even if you think you don't have an opening you could just use it and just quickly roll out of it so yeah this thing has so many upsides number 11 we have the Royal Knights resolve skill which this one can be equipped on all types of weapons which is amazing and it actually does boost your next attack damage by 80% which obviously this is going to be best pair alongside some charge attack builds so getting some like big boy colossal weapon and just putting on Royal nice resolve and then spamming your charged heavy attacks is going to be an amazing option and you can just keep spamming the skill over and over again cuz it is a very quick animation only consumes 12 FP and it can just make for like a very cool big bunking type of build if you just want to see very large numbers number 10 we have square off which this skill is only equipable on the straight swords and this is going to be one of the best skills in the entire game and probably the best option for a straight sword as well because this thing is incredibly quick it's really cheap and it does so much stance damage you actually do go into a stance and get a light attack or heavy attack option the light attack can do 30 stance damage and actually is pretty nice at breaking off Shields although it's not going to do it that well it's not going to be as useful as it once was in Dark Souls 3 but the heavy attack version is probably going to be their better play because cuz you actually do this nice poking attack which obviously is going to do you some piercing damage and you can do 40 stance damage which that's just as much as a fully charged heavy attack of like some colossal weapons in this game like it's just insane you can basically stance break most bosses in just two attacks with square off and it only consumes 8 FP number nine we have un sheath which this is basically very similar to square off it's just for the katanas now the animation itself is going to be a lot quicker probably the reason why I prefer unath over square off is because squir off does have some like longer recovery animations of which you're probably going to trade out a whole bunch but with unath it is going to be very quick very easy to use they're both very cheap as well both the light attack and heavy attack version now the light attack version is not going to be doing that much stance damage although it is still 25 stance damage which is like a lot more than a lot of other skills in this game but the heavy attack version is going to be doing upwards of 30 stance damage so it's still is only going to take like a few heavy attacks to actually posture break most bosses and it does it in a very quick animation and pairing this alongside something like the nuget Keo can just make it have so much range it's just really good number eight we have storm blade which this is going to be one of the better projectiles in the entire game you can put this on most swords in the game or most smaller swords in the game and this projectile does actually scale off either strength or dexterity so going into either one is just going to be really good but the reason as to why it's amazing is because it's very quick goes pretty far actually staggers enemies pretty nicely and depending on how large the weapon actually is that you're using it actually can output some pretty nice stance damage and being that the weapon has a hit boox hitting with it at Point Blank Range can make it do even more damage and even more stance damage but yeah you could do pretty close to like 20 stance damage if you pair it alongside something like a heavy thrusting sword and it also doesn't consume much FP the first initial cast is going to be 10 FP but every successive cost is going to be only 6 FP and as I mentioned before projectile attacks just trivialize the entire game being at a safer distance and having a quicker type of projectile can make every single encounter just so easy number seven we have ice spear which this is going to be a frost based projectile attack you can only use this on PO arm type weapons but this projectile is going to be really good and it doesn't really go that far but the animation is quick only consumes 15 FP but the damage and the frost buildup is going to be where it's at you can proc Frost with this thing so quickly honestly against most bosses if you hit with this thing like three or four times it's just going to proc Frost and it does 25 stance damage so in that time you're probably going to proc a stance break as well and paring this alongside something like the spell Blade Set is just going to make it do even more damage now the best pairing alongside with this would be like a clayman's harpoon type of build because that gets a really good intelligence scaling and you could just make it out put such high amounts of damage so if you haven't used this before and you're kind of doubting its power definitely recommend getting a couple of Clayman harpoons throwing on Ice bear and you'll see how good it actually is number six we have flaming strike now this bad boy actually serves as a little projectile attack that does actually scale off your strength stat and this projectile only consumes four FP does stagger enemies pretty nicely and does some actually okay damage now the followup input for an additional 10 FP does actually do a cool sidew swipe with the weapon itself can do some high amounts of stance damage but some between 15 to 25 depending on what weapon they actually do go with but it also just does buff your weapon too it just adds 90 more fire damage for 40 seconds which obviously that's going to be really good you can just power stance a couple of these weapons and just buff both of them and just keep spamming the weapon skill if you wanted to because the skill itself is just very high damaging very quick very cheap I guess like the only downside is that it is going to be like a closer distance but like honestly a lot of skills in this game are very close range so it doesn't really matter number five we have giant hunt now this is an incredibly good poking attack weapon skill and it consumes 16 FP you do this cool crouching animation of which a lot of attacks can just go directly over your head and against smaller enemies it can just ye them up into the air and do a lot of stance damage this thing actually does just as much stance damage as lion's claw it actually can do more regular damage as well because it is doing piercing damage for Less FP and a quicker animation so pairing this alongside like the great sword or just any colossal sword in general can honestly just trivialize the entire game but the reason that's why I'm not going to prefer it over the Lion's Claw is because that one just gets infinite hyper where this one you still can get stag out of but both options are going to be really good either way number four we have crack blade now this skill can be used on every weapon in the entire game except for a whip and what it does is buff your weapon with more damage you just get 15% more physical damage and you also get 10% more stance damage and bonus damage against enemies that are blocking so this thing is just so incredibly versatile if you're just not going to spec into a particular type of build if you're going with like a Charged heavy attack build you want to stance break or fing weapons that don't really get good weapon skill options anyway this one is just going to be extremely good because does 15% more damage to your weapon is honestly a huge amount that's like better than almost any single buff in the entire game and just on top of that it's just going to add 10% more stance damage because why not that's probably just going to result in stance breaking in like one or two quicker attacks in most cases and unlike most other weapon skill bosss in the game this thing actually lasts 60 seconds other skills only last like 40 seconds or 45 seconds and only consumes 16 FP the animation is very quick so there's so many different ways that you can build around this particular weapon skill but it is going to be one of the better ones in the entire game number three we have blood blade this is a bleed based weapon skill that can be equipped on many different types of smaller swords and this is probably going to be one of the better projectiles in the entire game probably the best projectile Ash of war in my opinion because the blood loss build up is just absolutely ridiculous and this thing is just going to be a better version than ruvia it just basically takes the ruia weapon skill and just puts it on crack because it can just do way more damage more blood loss spild up more stance damage now yes people will Point towards the fact that it does decrease your HP but it only consumes 45 HP on the first initial cast every single successive cost doesn't lose any HP at all and you can just do more damage for half the FP cost less stamina cost too and you can put this thing on something that's not a dagger you can put it on a curve sword or better yet a katana putting this like on the Naga Keo is just ridiculous especially because with a large weapon it's going to make it do more stance damage and the weapon skill actually has a hit box so hitting with it at Point Blank Range is going to make it do even more damage even more blood loss build up more stance damage and I don't think I need to describe why it's easier to hit with a nugget key at Point Blank Range compared to a dagger cuz obviously that weapon has ridiculous range and you're doing all of this for half the FP cost and less damina cost like this thing is just amazing now it's not to say that ruvia doesn't have any uses obviously the fact that it doesn't consume HP is going to be better for early game and blood blade only does scale off your Arcane stats and probably better paid alongside an ult infusion whereas ruvia does actually scale off your AR so going into either dexterity or Arcane can actually improve your damage but you do want to go into arane anyway because that's where the blood loss build up is going to be of which blood blade blood lust spit up is just through the roof this thing can just destroy everything so quickly anything that can be bled out this is just going to be the best option even if against enemies that can't be bled out it still does decent damage I probably would recommend switching to bloody slush in that instance but blood blade is still going to be perfectly fine number two we have lion claw probably the single most easiest weapon skill to use in the entire game now as I mentioned with giant hunt that weapon actually can get more damage for a very similar speed with a very similar type of build but the reason why lions claw I'm going to consider to be more useful is because you get infinite hyperama basically as soon as you click the button you're like never going to get staggered out of it it lunges very far does amazing damage with large weapons like a colossal sword you can do upwards of 40 stance damage and even the recovery frames are quick too you can like quickly roll out of it like there's virtually no downsides and number one the single most useful ashore in the entire game golden Val this bad boy if you're just not using a Faith Build you're just going to be using this every single time because for 45 seconds it's just going to give you an aura buff that boosts your your damage by 11.5% and your damage negation by 7.5% and the fact that that's an a buff means that you can actually boost your spirit summons other C summons that you actually have and it could actually be stacked alongside other body Buffs like flame grant me strength or an exalted flesh but yeah if you do have a faith type of build going with the spell is just going to be the better option and yes it doesn't have that high of a requirements at 25 Faith so you can actually go ahead and use the faith tier and the twoof finger Alm to meet the requirements for the spell but that's consuming a Talisman slot and a crystal tier slot so yeah for those reasons the golden B ashore is just going to be incredibly useful because obviously ashes of War don't have any requirements you can just throw this bad boy onto a dagger and and then switch to your main weapons to just do amazing damage every single build that doesn't require Faith just use the golden V Ash of War you might as well before any single type of boss fight any single type of challenging enemy just put gold out onto a dagger you get it very early on in the game you don't even need to upgrade the weapon as well doesn't need a particular type of infusion to work it's just that good anyway that's that it's finally over bro this videos take so long to make um but yeah definitely do subscribe for the unique weapon skill ranking that will be sometime in the future not anytime soon I want to definitely take a break and do like some smaller types of videos in the meantime but you can subscribe for those as well cuz they're going to be some pretty decent ones anyway catch you guys around bye
