Raising The Dead | Bannerlord Realms Forgotten #6

all right I am back with part six of the Necromancer series and last time we begun the war we joined the dread Realms as a mercenary and we have been fighting for our life ever since we helped the undead Siege a couple of castles although I think we've lost them all except this one that we just retook as for the war itself well it looks well I say it looks pretty even we are currently getting destroyed in strength in terms of casualties we're inflicting the same prisoners well we're kind of equal well I say we're kind of equal we we are equal I do have the king captured in my party right now and I asked you all last time what should we do should we Ransom the Lords for money and use it to rebuild the army or should I start killing them and while you decided for now we're going to Ransom them so it is the Lord's lucky day we won't go chopping heads just yet but there may come a time in the future where we're going to have to so right now we are nearly dead because we took a catapult to the face but what I'm going to do now is I'm going to run north we need to recruit some troops to rebuild the Army and then we'll probably come back south and Inn the last be Renown that we need to become an official vassel of the dread Realm and it looks like we got our first problem of the day there is an enemy Lord that is now chasing us all right buddy we're going to see oh never mind we got away it is fine so I'm going to Ransom all of my prisoners except the undead Kings we're going to keep them in our party we're going to beat down their morale and we're going to convince them to join us for everyone else they are free to go and that is 13,000 gold all right then I was not expecting that but 40,000 gold in battle loot if I hit reset a second look at all of that oh man we're rich Lads we are rich and not only that but a hell horse is only 18,000 so I may as well buy one why not as for the saddle well I did just sell a really good saddle that I had it was around here somewhere I don't know if you can put the saddle on the horse or if we're going to have to ride that booty be back okay I don't think we can have a saddle unless there's a specific one for the hell horse it doesn't look like there is well either way that is our lovely new Mount the only downside being half of the battle loot that we just got has already been spent it didn't last long at all and then we have the Necromancer staff oh man I'm going to have to buy that as well I said all along we were going to get the Necromancer staff I am the necr Lord after all and there you go we are now paying the shopkeeper 40,000 gold gone like that damn all right well we are back to full strength for the time being although half my Army are brand new fresh recruits which means they are the most useless skeletons going I hate to say it Lads I'm sorry I don't mean to call you useless but well you've proven time after time that you're just not that good but we have another problem the enemy have assembled an army and they're attempting to retake this castle if they retake it then all of the progress we've made in this war has been reset they've already retaken every other Castle I'm not too sure okay so this Army is marching South maybe we can assist them we're dealing with an army of nearly 500 troops not great not great at all and a further 400 and we've engaged in combat oh no all right what are we going to have to do Lads what is the play if we can defeat this Army maybe we can hide inside and then defend against the other Army that might work that might not work either way we're going to have to help the lads I can't let them down with my Army on top we do now outnumber the enemy but how long for with this second Army on its way it's really not looking too good this has to be a a decisive battle hold on a minute it says down the bottom right two necromancy revivals how do we go about using that there are a lot of enemies running at us at full speed it's a little concerning maybe I'll uh throw a oh [ __ ] oh I've missed one and I friendly fired this is not great all right the enemy are huddling up together if I can launch a few rounds in and thin their numbers that would be great it seems to be going well right now we're doing some pretty decent damage maybe if I try and go long ways and shoot straight down the line I don't know how well that will go okay we're not killing many more all right charge Lads charge we're all out of energy balls I've done what I can my magic power has been spent as for the staff we need to work out how oh that's how you do a Revival okay I just revived three soldiers I truly am the necro Lord now fight men fight I will revive those who fall in battle do not fear the enemy attack with all your might Undead soldiers we have the enemy trapped here there's nowhere for them to go but down where do you think you're going my friend where do you think you're going there's still a lot of enemy range troops shooting at us which isn't ideal but you know what soldiers right from the dead rise my minions we just revived 27 more soldiers but I am now out of revivals as for the enemy ranged I don't really know what we're going to do about them we're going to have to just charge forwards men forwards soldiers everyone attack the reapers are the first ones to engage in combat it may prove costly though the enemy have the elves fighting for them damn elves they were the one that knocked me out and kidnapped me against my will it looks like the enemy are trying to reform their lines either that or they're trying to retreat and they have given up I'm not entirely sure to be honest with you but we're just going to clean up kill as many as we can the less that escape the better overall I think it's gone well I did use my first The Necromancer Revival too early we only revived three troops with the first one so it was a bit of a waste but I was trying to work out what button it was turns out it was just a right click meanwhile this guy's being a bit of a pain there we go he's dead and that is it the Battle Is Over men the undead were victorious this day it is over bastard we lost 36 men with a further 22 wounded that's to be expected though cuz my men were the first ones to charge the ranged line but we did get nearly 20 Renown so either we just turned tier two or we're about to turn tier two which means we can recruit even more men into the army well now that we have defeated the first Army it is time to turn our attention to problem to the second Army we can hide inside the castle that Army for some reason is running for their lives why don't you just hide inside with us Lads all right well the Army has abandoned us the enemy are siing us it is just me and the Defenders well what's left of the Defenders we're going to have to build up the catapults as best as we can and we're going to have to hold back the Invaders at least until backup arrives if backup ever arrives hold on reinforcements we are going to Sally out with the men they care about the necro Lord they have come to Aid us either that or they just don't want to lose the castle it's probably most likely that I doubt they've specifically come just to save the necro Lord but we're going to battle once more it seems look at the undead forces it is magnificent it is truly an army to be feared as for the enemy they're forming a tight formation which is actually great for us because with the energy balls it just means we're going to execute them even easier so let's get started shall we we're just going to thin their number oh oh hold on we're being jumped by Cavalry seems like the enemy Cavalry has charged and engaged in combat I'm just thinning the infantry's numbers we're about to run out of spells the Infantry has taken too much damage and are deciding to charge overall it is going well this Army will soon be defeated all right soldiers once again do not fear the enemy I will revive those who fall in combat you have the necro Lord on your side the enemy infantry is basically gone I I mean they're done for it has been an absolute Slaughter this one men you fought bravely now rise rise soldiers of the Dead yeah I revived like two guys that that was it but it's two guys that would have been permanently dead otherwise and just like that the enemy armies have been defeated and if we take a look at clan we now definitely have enough Renown to become tier 2 well I say to become tier two we're already tier two if I take a look at the party we can go up to 100 soldiers so I'm going to have to go on a bit of a recruiting spree but I guess it is now time to become an official vassel to The Dread Realms we're going to lose that income from our influence which will be a bit of a shame but it does mean we'll become a Lord and we can start gaining land of our own which is probably more beneficial in the long run we just have to find the leader of our faction I have no idea where he is I have been informed that the leader of our faction is somewhere near here don't tell me he's a prisoner and by near here they mean he's in shackles and locked away in the dungeon oh he probably is all right we're going to have to retreat for now I think well we have just got 44,000 gold in battle loot nice with our newly found wealth I'm probably going to end up spending it all again we don't need weapons this time which is great we don't need a mount so I won't be blowing here on that I think the main thing now is going to be armor okay there is armor worth buying but uh well I know I said I was going to blow it Lads but I'm not blowing 44,000 on a helmet well to be honest with you there wasn't much armor to buy the only thing I did buy is I spent 15,000 gold on a fancy new cap I mean look at us Lads don't we look great but that's about it in terms of body armor I mean nothing was of any use to us same with the boots and gloves the only thing that was worth buying was a helmet but again I wasn't going to spend that much on one well that's awkward I just quick sold all of my prisoners which means I just quick sold those Undead Giants oh man what was I thinking they were going to join my Army and we were going to be unstoppable so the enemy have somehow assembled another Army and are attempting to Siege the castle once again I don't know where they're getting the troops from we just cut down like 800 of them and yet they're ready to go once more it looks like our teammates are already there with two armies so by the time we arrive they might already be dead yep by the time we showed up there is one guy left in the Army although hold on a minute The Dread King has personally asked me if I would pledge myself as a vassel I have received a rough location of the dread King and since he's asking for us personally I am going to make the journey to become a vassel the only problem is he's all the way in like the north of the dread realm stashed away so we got quite the journey to go but once we get there I don't know if he will give us any land because I don't think the dread Realms have any spare land to be honest with you all right my king I Shall Serve You loyally And soon I will take your title I mean I will serve you loyally till the end my Lord I am ready to accept and just like that the necro Lord is now an official vassel to The Dread Realms we're still slowly losing influence but it's not as fast as we were as a mercenary but it does mean the income is gone on I now have to pay the men up front the contract isn't going to cover the uh wages and we didn't even get given any land either which isn't ideal we're a landless Lord but not for long I will put an end to that don't you worry the enemy have somehow assembled an army once again to Siege this Castle what is going on here hold on one of the Lords requires assistance don't you worry my friend we will not allow you to fall in battle all right Reapers we are here to assist our Ally we're going to have to show him how it's done although I say assist the Ally the guy has legged it he has run to the woods I don't know what his plan is but he has left us to face the enemy alone so Reapers this is it trying to prove our Worth to The Dread Realms I am now an official vassel we need land so we got to show them we know what we're doing our Ally has put us in an awkward position the enemy are focusing on him instead because he is the weakest one so men I am going to need you to move over here just in case things go south race for impact men it looks like we have attracted the attention of the Cavalry race for impact Hold the Line Undead soldiers hold the line I'm not too sure why you class as infantry I mean that's clearly a horse lads I've seen many horses in my time and I would say that is a horse but either way we're just being shot at so men follow me we shall forward March we will engage the enemy in combat do not fear their arrows you know what maybe I can fire some spells of my own thin their numbers a little bit and cause them to break formation doesn't seem to be working right now they're not interested in me at all how about now Lads do you want a piece of the necro Lord no not interested they're just sitting back there holding position they have no interest in actually attacking me hold on have I got their attention now all right soldiers are you ready reapers are you with me till the end charge man charge cut them down a bulk of the enemy infantry should be dead we should be good I forgot to mention as well I have leveled up my faith skill and I've learned a perk where whenever I deal damage I actually have life steel now if you take a look at my health bar and I hit someone you can see I'm actually healing so not only can we raise the dead but I heal when I deal damage I mean overall we truly are the necro Lord but either way this battle seems to be mostly over every I'm going to see if I can raise the dead that's two soldiers not bad we'll raise a further one in terms of losses we did lose nine I like how we only get 81% of the battle loot but if I take a look at Defenders what did you do you did nothing and you still took 19% of the loot you son of a this guy made sure to get his fair share even though we well it's not his fair share he just stole the loot from me now that we have defeated those it is time to turn our atten ition to the enemy Army all right I have a question about our combat style the necro staff can actually be used in melee mode and I can smack people from the back of my horse so do we sell the sword and get another batch of energy balls so we'll have about 25 balls a battle or do I keep the sword as a backup for when things get intense I don't know how a effective melee mode is on the staff so I'll give her a go this battle so if it does a lot of damage just smacking people with the skull on the end just going Bonk then it might be worth selling the uh sword and getting more energy balls as for the enemy they are fleeing up the mountain right now but you cannot flee from the necro Lord I will get you sooner or later Lads I always do and we we have our final energy ball for good luck and there you go 800 damage to the head and instantly I pulled out my sword even though I said I was going to test the Bonk all right we dealt one damage was that just because there wasn't enough room or the Bonk is proven inefficient I don't know I'm not really hitting an awful lot Lads I won't lie I seem to be missing everything I'll Chase one of these guys and just smack him from behind Okay well that answers that the staff is useless melee mode on the staff is just completely ineffective so if I was to get rid of the sword it would mean well it would mean that we have just the energy balls and once I had used them that's it I am out of the battle there is nothing else I can do other than revive dead soldiers but either way this battle seems to be over that guy tried escaping but not on my watch we can catch this one we'll prevent another one from escaping there we go anybody else trying to flee from the battlefield oh don't mind if I do from that battle we found the sword that we're already using but it's a Masterwork one don't mind if I do my friend so in terms of the war if we take a look at our diplomacy tab we have now inflicted way more casualties than them and we have knocked their strength down so that we're now equal in strength but if we take a look at prisoners well we have half their army locked up it seems if we were to make peace right now they would be paying us 2 and a half th000 a day but it doesn't look like the dread Realms wants to make peace just yet and hang on a minute are we paying the elves why are we paying the damn elves it looks like we aren't paying the elves an awful lot only seven gold is coming from me so I can't imagine overall we're paying them that much but it looks like we have two armies that are both on the march to this Castle here this might be our chance to gain some land if we can join the armies meet up with them Siege the castle he might give it to us if we're the only landless vassel and then we have to swear and oath to defend it till the end because as I mentioned before once we gain land I don't intend on losing it but I'm afraid that's all we have time for today we have managed to slaughter the enemy at every opportunity we had and next time it looks like we're going to slaughter them once more and probably bring an end to the war I can't imagine the war will go on for too much longer with all the casualties that are being inflicted but that is it for part six as always a big thank you to the gaggles members for your continued support
