Rainbow Six Siege Steam UPLAY ACTIVATION KEY ISSUE FIX 2020

[Music] okay so today we're going to be talking about a little something different because this was actually a problem that came up very recently and i was actually involved in uh recently what happened was a lot of people actually downloaded rainbow six siege because it had a free weekend a lot of people seemed to enjoy the game and it being on sale for about six dollars was a pretty good deal and one of the big issues that recently came up with it was basically people buy the game from steam and when they would download the game and play it basically what would happen is it would ask for an activation key which people said that they did not get which i also did not get so what we're going to do here today is we're going to try and solve that issue in fact i have solved that issue currently it's uh you're supposed to go into you play okay so this basically might not work for everyone this particular method but it's um essentially good practice to just see because it'll save you a lot of headache go into the account information of your ubisoft account and go into my games my games will basically see there isn't one for me but there should be a key option right here because since i've completed the progress process it isn't here for me so and it won't be for a lot of people but if it is good for them and basically they don't have to go through the entire process a second time so what you want to do here is you want to go up to your library and you want to go into the game over here and right click here go down to properties and go into your local files here you see this button verify integrity of game files what you want to do is go ahead and click that and it will basically go ahead and see if there are any files that you don't have or the issue that's being caused and of course if you run into this issue and one of the reasons why you're watching this video is that you don't have an authentication key because you didn't buy the game from you play and you bought it from steam so what will happen is that even if you do buy the game and then download it what's gonna happen is the game will be downloaded without the activation key or basically the variation verification of the game so basically like there's the built-in activation code inside of the game which if you just directly buy it and download it directly without hitting this button what will happen is the entire game will be downloaded in its entirety without the activation code in it so what you want to do is click this button it'll download any of the few things that are missing and once you are finished with that what's going to happen is the game will start re-downloading itself it will reinstall and then re-download itself like it's doing for me right here and that's pretty much all you have to do it should it shouldn't pose any threat after that it shouldn't be a problem afterwards and this should basically be the entirety of the process if uh and you know a lot of people say just uninstall the game and reinstall it but that could cause potentially the same problem it is causing right now and of course you don't want that so simply do what i did and the game will automatically reinstall itself and re-download itself like it's doing right here and once that happens you can go ahead and play the game of course it's downloading for me right now so i can't play it but that should solve any issues that do occur for you when it comes to the activation key that you play asks for and yeah that's that's pretty much gonna be it so thank you so much for watching if this was helpful go ahead and leave a like subscribe for more and i'll see you in the next one thanks for watching guys
