How to fix Rainbow Six Siege Uplay/Ubisoft Activation Code problem! (2024)

hey guys what's going on Janie you're back with another video and if you were clicking on this video you're already trying to figure out the issue about the activation key when you are launching Rainbow Six Siege from Steam this video will be showing you two problems that you might have when opening up Siege and two ways that you can actually fix this problem as well I'm gonna go ahead and open up Siege right here you'll see I will have a little bit of a problem trying to get in through Steam because Ubisoft for some reason will block the activation of my account although I have 170 hours on the game it wants to go ahead and add the steam version to my account I click continue and I haven't error because they have problems with authenticating the ownership of this product similar thing happens on test Service as well only this time it acts for an activation key or code and it is very difficult to fix this issue everything you should try to do is go ahead and go straight to the you play launcher just go ahead and see if you have a key in there although you most likely do not it doesn't hurt the check so just go ahead and go to your profile on the top right go all the way down to account information then go to my games and it should be here if it is here you will go ahead and just click show key and the key will go ahead and show and you can activate it on Steam that way if not keep watching the video because I have another solution for you another thing you can do is go to properties on Siege then go to local files and verify the Integrity of game files now this will take a minute to go ahead and verify the file or just go ahead and sit back and wait once it is done verifying the game files you can simply just close out of the verification process go ahead and close this launcher and then go and open task manager through task manager we want to go ahead and close down Steam and you play launcher or any you play things that you see on here as well let's do that go ahead and reopen up steam go to your games and play and see if that worked for you guys can see that worked for me and if it did also work for you make sure to go ahead and drop a like on the video and also maybe consider subscribing to the channel as well also ensure to click one of the two videos that are on the screen now I highly recommend watching the one on the left because I've been doing a lot of editing on my videos lately and it's a new style I'm trying out so maybe you guys might enjoy it on the right will be the latest video I have uploaded so if you're ever interested in that as well go check that out and yeah once again thank you guys so much for watching and hope you guys have an absolutely amazing day peace
