all right so check this out we got a century this is a century plus and uh it hooks up to uh forf flight and as you can see it's not doing anything just needs to sit still for a second and it's so fraking windy out won't sit still look at that wind sock it's not terrible little wind never stopped us eh no no we're going to go all right no attitude information it say oh come on pause unpause all did yeah shut up now we can tax you we'll taking off on 31 I'll do the calls Woodstock traffic ult India mik Echo Mike positioning Runway 31 for departure Woodstock I think we were oh no never mind it came back I going say I think we were Park crooked for 10 seconds cuz our uh our Artificial Horizon went wonky oh what's going Mony again too that's weird anyway whatever uh so we have a crosswind from the right so we're going to put the stick just to the right a little bit and then when we go full power we'll just keep it straight with the rudder and then climb it like normal it'll be fine I'm here to help if I have to a lot of help H we'll see what happens with traffic Mike Echo mik departing Runway 31 be a right hand departure climbing to 2,000 Woodstock all power and off we go good little bit more right Rudder there we go good and then a little forward there we go perfect and then climb out at 50 I'll keep the nose forward till you get to 50 very nice yeah it's not even that bad out oh look at that we got traffic Royal Jordanian he's going 514 knots why aren't we going 514 knots well cuz we're just bouncing around oh hopefully this will see this so you can see the little cyan Arrow there that's other airplane so that's adsv look at that you guys missed it we oh oh no the other camera will get it don't worry it'll be fine 8p o look at that yeah it's a little little thermally and Gusty today so um anyway we're just trying out this Sentry thing and it seems to be working pretty good we weren't sure because uh the closest adsv Tower is way over there on Mars Hill but uh seems to be picking it up fairly well actually so quite happy with that you happy with that I'm fantastic fantastic so there we're a little bit safer now we can see other people while we're flying around I like it excellent job so far let's do a right hand turn to 90 which would be East clear right we are clear right our ground speed went from 80 to 57 so I'd say we have about 20 M hour wind on the nose that's some that's some that's some yeah look looking forward to the landing nope so that must be a dow draft there cuz I never moved nothing and we went down we were dropping there see there's the lift you see how we came right out of it bumped right back up there we go 200 ft a minute up so yeah we're definitely in some up and down the atmosphere is very un a today traffic L 4407 crj700 15 M final for one press be super great if we could fly to the US and back it would wouldn't it we can it's just a whole bunch of paperwork without the paperwork right the paperwork's a hard part I have good barbecue joints right at the end of the runway yeah well we'll take off from Woodstock and pl to the closest Canadian Airport and then just drive from there oh wait that's Woodstock that's Woodstock suppose it's still hunting season isn't it deer season just started this week I think just see a a truck parked in the edge of the woods there likely somebody in hunting there's a way to make that scan too yeah I'm a simple man like simple things without complex button pushing it's definitely louder is it oh yeah we need to find somebody to fly over the honk atam see high we were going to have to be for the adsp tower to hit us but looks like we're all right hand is sitting in the back yeah it's back there and that's a good spot for cuz it's not in the way it's not in the way oh the cows didn't stampede turn it to be a beauty of a day up here though not so bad eh so ball is centered yep we're pointing that way but we're going that way yeah it says we're going directly to Woodstock airport Meanwhile we're pointing over at sharp Mountain that's uh a bit of wind oh there we go s so we're now too far away for the entry to work oh there it popped in again just popped in oh so it tells you yeah it tells you if it's green red or yellow yellow is the best we'll get cuz there's only one Tower around here if you have more than one Tower it'll go green got one Tower is yellow no Towers is red I'm assuming you don't want to try to land today you assume correct I didn't think I was hoping you would I didn't want to it's Gusty it is Gusty man it's very Gusty it's not uncomfortable look at all the geese oh my love it get a shotgun W so traffic mik is joining downwind Runway 31 full stop Woodstock with so traffic mik k a Mike turn in final Runway 31 full stop with St so see how I'm keeping the nose pointed into the wind keeping us relatively over the center line and as I get closer to the ground I'll straighten the nose out with the rudder see I'm keeping it straight with the rudder now I'm using the AER ons to keep it over the center [Music] line just like that you got it y I'll take over from here good job I thought you might take the beaver up later ha in this wind bat chance that'll do all right so avionics that's just the radio at this point and then nav lights and then key and then Master beautiful then you're supposed to say by vent by Bent by by Bent by Bent by vent I think it's by Brent but whatever yeah there's our second horn there it's got a different tone to it too so hopefully that means it goes further I don't know we also did our first oil change so we just hit 25 hours of flying well 26 now cuz Brent and I just flew for an hour um we haven't opened up the oil filter yet but we have a tool coming that'll let us open up the oil filter and look at the to see if there's any debris or anything in there the oil that came out looked real clean so I'm not worried about it at all but you guys wanted to hear about their first oil change um I I I was going to film it for you guys and you know show you the process but uh I don't really have a process yet as this picture demonstrates so we're going to get that a little bit better next time so anyway um that's that's it for now um what do you think about the stratus and the forf flight combo seems to work pretty good I like it so let me know what you
