Questions Are The Answer

what if there were one skill that could make every aspect of your life better it could make your relationships better it could help you make more money it could help you experience more success it could help you experience Higher Achievement what if there were one skill that was the skill of skills how badly would you want to learn it so on this video today I'm going to give you five ways that questions are the answer to a better life let's Jump Right In the first thing we need to understand is questions are the answer to better thinking see one of the biggest problems that we have in the world today is the fact that education is amusing now what does that even mean education is amusing when you put the letter a in front of a word it's like saying anti it's against the thing so if if the educational system is amusing that means it's against musing well the word muse means to think the reason they call an amusement park an amusement park is because if you ever thought about it you wouldn't get on any of those rides right but the real reason they call it that is because it's against thinking you it's all about feeling something an amusement park is all about feeling something but but a the miseducation misdirection system is not just about not thinking it's actually against thinking it it shuns and degrades the asking of questions that the powers that be don't like the answers to like it's it's it's why we have political correctness it's why people prefer political correctness over moral goodness so it's okay to be politically correct or it's okay to be morally corrupt even if you're polit if you're politically correct in fact political correctness creates moral corruption why because it challenges the asking of questions how dare you ask that question but the question that you're afraid to ask is the question that will provide the answer that will be most beneficial to you and so you can't go through life afraid to find the answers to questions because questions are the answer to better thinking and see I learned a long time ago that if I ever disagree with anybody I am right 100% of the time does anybody ever figured that out like you like when I disagree with somebody I'm right 100% of the time but I'm not right necessarily on the thing that we disagree about I'm right about this there's a 50% chance they could be right and there's a 50% chance I could be right and if I'm afraid to find out that I'm wrong and they're right I cannot know the truth are y'all tracking I can't know the truth because I'm afraid that my answer the answer that I think is an answer might not actually be an answer and I don't want to investigate that because then I have to use brain power which by the way burns more calories than just about any exercise you going to do now have to use energy and mental bandwidth to answer a question that I had re relegated to autopilot how many all tracking and so what I've got to do is I've got to be willing to ask questions about the answers I think I have I said this yesterday A friend of mine I got this quote from a friend of mine Joe Mar he said I would rather have questions I can't answer than answers I can't question if you're afraid that an answer that you have won't hold up to questioning maybe you're afraid of that because in your heart of hearts you already know it's not really the answer I wish I had some help in here oh see the reality is you cannot think clearly about a thing with an agenda am I talking too fast if you have a way that you desire it to be you lose a level of ability to discern how it actually is and so what I've got to do is I've got to be willing to examine that my most closely held highly honored beliefs might be wrong and if I'm not willing to examine that the question really is what am I afraid what am I afraid I'm going to find out on the other side of this investigation that I don't desire to know I like I have some things that I am 1,000% fully persuaded about I am my and Freddy Golden there's no doubt in my mind about that but if somebody comes to me and says well you think you're mind Freddy Golden but you're actually you know Engle bird humperdink I don't know why I said his name because because I just thought that was the most fascinatingly oddd name that I'd ever heard when I was growing up right okay anyway that was amus anyway forget it um so if somebody came I would be open to the investigation because I'm not worried about finding out that I'm wrong are you are are you y'all tracking if somebody comes and says my the Bible's not the word of God I believe the Bible is the word of God but if somebody can come to me and demonstrate that it's not I'm open to that conversation because I'm not afraid I'm going to find out I'm wrong I don't have to be afraid of finding out like the the truth is its own defense and so I don't have to be defensive for the truth to defend the truth are y'all tracking and so so questions are the answer to better thing and and and like always beware of people people who silence questions because they don't like the answer those are some of the most dangerous people in the world those people turn into Hitlers and stalins Jesus wasn't afraid of questions you know why because he he knew the answer because he created the answer before the person ever came up with the question y'all tracking and so what we have to do is we have to get to the place in our lives where we are not afraid to find out that our closely held beliefs are not what we believe them to be most people make the mistake of thinking that they believe the truth when in reality they just think their beliefs are true can I get a witness and your beliefs might be true but they might not be true and if they're not true the longer it takes you to find out they're not true the longer you are in the danger zone so questions are the answer to better thinking uh one of my favorite people to listen to or to watch YouTube videos uh on YouTube is Jordan Peterson not because I agree with him about everything cuz I don't I don't agree with everybody I don't agree with anybody about everything like I don't even know if I agree with me about everything and what I mean by that is I have found out too many times in my life that things that I believe to be true in the past I found out later that they weren't true and I am more loyal to the truth than I am to my beliefs how many youall tracking and so so when I watch Jordan Peterson and he has a he has a conversation with somebody or a debate as he tends to have I love watching him because the thing that is apparent when he's got in a debate with anybody that I've ever seen him in a debate with he has already posed their argument to himself before they did so he had an answer for them but they never posed his argument to themselves because they belied they were right and it didn't deserve examination and so when they uncover and find out that they were wrong they're like well you should have thought about that before you started the argument how many you on track it and so what we've got to do is we've got to be willing to examine our beliefs perpetually because the more we grow the more we begin to see things in different lights and we make come to a conclusion later that we did not come to formerly about the same thing so questions are the better answer to better thinking why is that so important because right now you are exactly one how many one idea away from your first fortune or next Fortune whichever the case may be one idea away one idea well executed away from the from the relationship that you've been looking for from the business success you've been looking for for for the health from the health breakthrough you've been looking for you are one idea well executed away when you think about the fact that there was a time Sam Walton was only one idea from Walmart Elon Musk was one idea from Tesla Steve Jobs was one idea from Apple you are right now just one idea away so would y'all like me to tell you where to find that idea would you'all like that yes okay I don't know so here's what you got to do you have to look everywhere without being afraid of what you might find trust that you have enough discernment to recognize good from bad right from wrong godliness from Evil up from down trust that you'll have enough to discernment to do that is what I'm saying making sense to y'all don't be afraid to find out that you're wrong because questions are the answer to better thinking and somebody said the thinking that has brought you to this point cannot break you through to the next level so if you want to break through to a higher level you have to break through to a higher level of thinking first because questions are the answer to better thinking questions are the better answer to better communication people who are poor communicators are bad at asking questions largely because they're more concerned and consumed with what they desire to say than they are with what they desire to see until I learn something about you I haven't earned the right to teach something to you it's the fact that I've obsessed over your problem longer than you have that causes you to give me the right to add insight to your life when you can see clearly that the questions you have are questions that I've obsessed over and I've found some answers that have worked for me and for other people you might give me a right to ask add some insight to your life because questions are the answer to better communicating all of you on the YouTube asphere in this room asphere in the atmosphere okay all of you do a test with your spouse your children your a child a brother a sister a cooworker do a qu test okay let the other person count and you just start asking questions and see how many questions you can ask the average person cannot ask 10 questions in a row that are connected can't ask 10 questions in a row can't do it and because they can't do it it's not your answers that make people feel like you care about them it's the questions that you ask that lead to the answers that cause people to feel like you care about them see when someone does something and you assume you know the reason they did it and you assign a motive but you don't ask they believe that you think they are there to serve you which they are but it's not your job to discover that my job is not discover how you is not to discover how you are here to serve me that's not my job that's your job my job is to discover how I'm here to serve you are y'all picking up I'm putting down and the more zoned in tuned in focused on that objective I am the more successful I'm going to be why because people may resist you telling them to serve them them I mean to serve you people may resist you telling them to serve you but they won't resist you telling them that you're there to serve them you will meet no resistance and so thinking I mean questions are the answer to better commun like like ask people how are you feeling today is a good question maybe they're not feeling is there anything I can do to help how would you like me to pray for you right as opposed to they tell you how they're feeling and then you go into a drunk alog about why they shouldn't be feeling that way your communication is somebody I'll ask somebody anybody here not know what their name means everybody knows what youall know what your name mean you don't know what you do anybody does does anybody here not know what their name means okay so I'm going to go with SH sioban what I'm Siobhan what is your name oh that was stroke of Genius right there stroke of geni hello what is your name Shan Siobhan what does it mean NOA if you could assign a meaning to it what would that be I would powerful powerful so from now on let's make the meaning of your name powerful sioban the powerful see what I did there so now I had a conversation with her about her name I'm going to remember her name she's going to appreciate the fact that I gave her the idea to become Siobhan the powerful are you tracking it just it's just a level of showing that you care and communication I might ask Siobhan that's an interesting name how do you spell that s o b s i o b h o n b b h an that's how you spell it really is it like French my mom saw it on a soap opera okay and it was pronounced shoban s i b s i o b b h it's Irish wow that's interesting Siobhan the powerful with the Irish name and the very unusual spelling that's so cool are you named after someone woman on the soaper this woman on the soap offer so now how many different anchors do I have now to remember her name what did I just demonstrate when I meet this person I ask them that many questions about their name it demonstrates that I care about them more than I care about them finding out about me are y'all tracking so my but your name's Tim I would do the same thing but but I would do the exact same thing I just did and but even but I still would ask how to spell it the you want to find out how bad assuming spellings of people's names really is write a book and do a book signing you gonna throw away a bunch of books I always ask people how they spell it you you like I asked you didn't are you B are you Brian BR I BR an or BR r y right like like don't assume you know see the Mis educational misdirection system gives us points for knowing for memorizing somebody else's right answers the marketplace gives us points for discovery not for knowing okay I'm I'm like this may seem like an oversimplification maybe it does maybe it doesn't I don't know but I know for me this is my life like when I'm thinking oh I wonder how that works oh I wonder how that works oh I wonder how that works oh I wonder how that works oh I wonder how that works and I do that perpetually so that I don't ever end up in a place where I feel like I'm powerless here's what's really cool my dad taught me this when I was in elementary school y'all heard me tell the story about how we were working on this car we were taking off this exhaust manifold and it wouldn't come off and the boolt wouldn't come out and my mom called us for lunch and we had been working I mean torches and chisels and Hammers and vice grips and everything and nothing this thing is not budging and I said wow Dad it's not we're going in for lunch I said that Bol ain't coming out he said oh it's coming it's coming out let me do it in his voice oh it's coming out you know why it's coming out no sir because we got a brain it don't have a brain wait what we've got a brain it don't have a brain so anytime I'm faced with something that doesn't have a brain I win automatically as long as I use my brain oh sign me up for that program and so I always feel powerful I feel way more powerful with questions than I do with answers the only place you ever feel powerful with answers is in the artificial environment called School but there's think about it there's no place in real life that mimics school there's no place in life where you're ever going to be working with all the people of the same age focused on the same thing or not focused on the same thing where the thing you're working on doesn't matter as soon as the bell rings it's an artificial environment so questions are the answer to better communication you will become a better Communicator when you become better at asking questions it it doesn't matter if you're selling something questions are much better sales mechanisms than answers why because you don't ask question you're going to be answering something somebody didn't so you're you're going to be answering some a question they didn't have which now you've created more questions and left the questions they had in the beginning unanswered you know one of the best sales questions you can ever ask for those of you who are entrepreneurs you want a sales question that can make you millions of dollars you ready what questions if any do you have and they ask you and guess what you do then you give them the answer and then you ask them did that answer your question and they say yes and you say what other questions do you have how long should I do that my until they they run out of questions people how to overcome objections how to overcome objections you know what an objection is an objection is an a is a question that didn't get answered that turned into an infection the reason I have an objection is because you didn't answer the question in your presentation or in your close that's why they have an objection I don't ever overcome objections in the closing process why they don't have any we removed all the barriers we asked all the questions I wasn't afraid that I was going to find an answer that meant they aren't going to be able to buy or aren't going to want to buy oh now how many y'all starting to get it okay questions are the answer to better communication questions are the answer to Better Learning here's what we do because we were so miseducated so perfectly miseducated in the government indoctrination camps in the child prisons schools whatever you want to call them because we were so perfectly miseducated we would rather pretend that we know so people don't think we're dumb than ask the question that would make us smarter H here's the good news you've graduated already you don't need a grade it's okay not to know hm what does that mean oh I don't understand what you just said what's that word you just said huh never heard that word before what's it mean see you're afraid somebody will think you're dumb I don't care if they think I'm dumb as long as the next person I meet doesn't think I'm dumb because I still don't know the answer because I refuse to ask the question because I needed this person to think I was smart well it's the answer to bar like I get it I am probably too curious for my own good sometimes I get it man okay now that I established that I'm still going to read at least one book this week maybe three maybe four maybe five I'm still G to study my guitar and learn some new some new music theory this week why because I care about it are y'all tracking like don't be afraid that people are going to find out you don't know something nobody expects you to know everything other than the imaginary person in your mind who is judging you because that's what the cultural hypnotic societal mechanism programmed you to believe when you were young because you didn't memorize somebody else's right so-called right answers and they gave you a bad grade which meant you were not smart fortunately for me my parents gave me built so much self-esteem in me before I ever went to off to the school system system there I never met a teacher who could make me feel dumb even if I didn't understand what they were talking about I knew I wasn't a problem can't be me so there's only one of us left what you gonna do about it and I wasn't going to help the Mis educational system bully my children and make them feel like they were dumb do your job become a better teacher and I wasn't gonna help them do their work I'm all you parents who spend three and four hours at night helping your children do so-called homework and you already know that this stuff they so-called learning they will never use why would you do that to your children is that too straightforward I was freeing for me hey hey Dad can you help me with my homework first of all it ain't homework it's school work they didn't finish teaching you at school I'm paying them they y'all ain't going there for free I'm paying them and I'm not fixing to go relearn this stuff so I can help you learn it and cuz I know I don't use it and I know you won't use it and so it's a waste of both of our times this is dumb let's go do something fun let's go learn something oh let I forgot to give a disclaimer parents you might not want to watch this with your children they might hold you accountable sorry but the reality is I used to tell the the teachers the principal all of them stop sending all this junk to to my house my kids working on stuff that y'all G what are you insane for 6 hours when they come home I hated school more when my kids were in school than I did when I was in school anyway but questions are the answer see children are naturally C curious what if instead of lining kids up by the same age in a row listening to the most boring monologue ever from somebody who thinks they're a teacher who's actually a lecturer what if we taught our children how to read how to write how to do arithmetic and then we let them read books to learn about things they care about and what if we took them on trips instead of just learning about the Grand Canyon in a book what if we just took them to the Grand Canyon and we spent a week there or a month there what if we just what if what if what if they wanted to learn Spanish and we just why don't we just go live in Spain for the next six months and only speak Spanish while we're there see see that would be real learning what if we say I want to learn Hebrew why don't we just go and move to Israel for a year that'd be fun right instead of taking in Hollywood's misrepresentation of Africa why don't we just go to Africa and stay there for six months travel around the country live in one travel around the continent live in one country for a month and another country for a month and another country for a month another country for a month but how much will that cost now here's the question how much is it costing to stay stuck like Chuck in a pickup truck believing a bunch of lies that have no truth anywhere in the neighborhood okay questions are the answer to Better Learning if you don't have if you're not making as much money as you'd like to right now there's one reason you're not asking good enough questions you didn't ask the question what is a big problem that a big pool of people have who have big piles of money to pay to solve it so that's all you need you you realize that's all you need to make a whole bunch of money is you need you need a big pool of people with a big problem and big piles of money that they're willing to use to solve that problem I got a guy I just paid him $100,000 three days ago you know why he solved the problem for me and I got one more payment next month $75,000 and then I'm done paying for my jet cards for the year whatever whatever 550,000 and 275,000 is that's how much he got paid for me this year you know why he solved a problem for me he found a and by the way when when you're solving problems that big you don't even need a big pool of people you can have a little pool of people with a big problem and a big pile of money they're willing to solve it do you understand it's literally business is that simple asking better questions is um asking better questions I asking questions are the answer to better earning like the reason I make money as much money as I make is because I ask really good questions the reason I don't make more is I haven't figured out how to ask better ones yet but guess what I'm working on it how many y pick it up when I'm putting that I'm working on it okay um questions are the answer to better communication or better communicating um if you want better better communication to happen between you and the people that are in your family you and your neighbors have you ever done this somebody who you just saw maybe a grocery store because you know somehow at grocery stores people are just people work at grocery stores oftentimes or any store they're having a bad day right or they're focused on the difficult things that are happening that day and they're labeling the day a bad day that's actually what's happening okay and so they're maybe you meet somebody and they're lashing out at you have you ever thought about saying wow it seems like you're having a bad day is there anything I can do it'll change the game it'll change the Game Stop stop making everything about you questions are the answer to better imple implementing what does that mean if there's something you don't know how to do someone knows how to do it if you ask the question now here's what's really cool the pool of people we can ask questions to in 2024 is infinite I can go on YouTube and ask the question I can go on Google and ask the question I can go on Yahoo and ask the question I go on being and ask the question I can go into chat GPT and ask the question I I've got friends I can ask the question I got family members I've got co-workers the questions the places I can go to get the questions answered are unlimited so there's no excuse somebody said but I don't know how to do XYZ what does that have to do with anything there was a time that not knowing how to do something was a legitimate roadblock that ship sailed decades ago you can go on YouTube and find a tutorial on almost EMP thing so I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna wrap this up with this you know what blows me away it blows me away people that are friends of mine and been friends for decades people who I have as family members for my entire life people who are even friends for not nearly as long but I'm Blown Away by how seldom people ask me questions about how to make the financial aspect of their life work it blows me away it like in personal relationships it almost never happens isn't that fascinating it's not like I'm resistant to giving an answer I'm fascinated that it almost never happens and then sometimes when it does happen and you give them the answer because it's so different than they would thought what they thought it would be they don't do it anyway can I tell you something people think they're broke because they don't have enough money for instance nobody is broke because they don't make enough money they're broke because they don't manage the money they make and if you don't manage the money you make when it's a little you'll how you mismanage that money will be multiplied and magnified and Amplified when you start making more get to the place in your life where if you work at McDonald's or Taco Bell you don't spend every dime out of every dollar every month manage your money better there's not a single solitary person who's watching this video who can't manage the money they make better when you start doing it here's what you're going to find out he who is Faithful over a few things God will make him ruler
