'Pub joke' - Bill Bailey

oh yeah the three blokes going to the pub and God Jesus and the Holy Spirit and it's a themed pub and the theme of the pub is uncertainty nobody knows I might anything costs what they do when they leave or what they're doing there in the first place it's basically like an ordinary pub and God does at the body says I've cut the light ales and dry-roasted and the barman says anything for the Holy Spirit and the God says no he's ineffable he's a manifestation of a conceptual entity and involves his book just orange juice yeah and then the Holy Spirit goes off the player game of pinball and it's one of those pin noir versions of a film and it's a pinball version of dandy and you have to get three balls in the Magic Man to light the peaceful transition to independence okay and God then recognizes the barman it says you're a Verna Heisenberg are neither German scientist inventor of the uncertainty theorem and Heisenberg says yeah that is right imagine imagine that me the German scientist should embrace uncertainty the explicit irony is not lost on me God said yeah yeah and Heisenberg said yeah as a young man I crave precision in all things I wanted to know the smallest thing in the night known universe it's a particle very difficult to measure the particle to measure it you must shine light upon it but by shining light upon it you distorts the image of the particle making it impossible to take an accurate reading I used smaller and smaller and smaller amounts of light but still to no avail eventually I used the smallest amount of light known to man the glovebox light of a 1974 Austin maxi still too much light maybe it refracted also a desert of the Midlands it's a laminated covered dummkopf God said yeah shut up mate this trip is wrong we weren't real strippers they were metaphysical strippers and they just stripped away layers of preconception so they were just too naked quivering question marks and you put your money on the dots
