Overall enjoyed it, but I'll list my criticism below:

• Plot seems very by-the-numbers. This isn't inherently a bad thing as the story has been done, it's honestly mostly the older, mean scientist's dialogue that makes it feel very formulaic.
• None of the performances were bad. (Other than the "It doesn't like it, it is a machine!" part) It's the way it was presented. There was no build-up to the way the older scientist would feel. No close-ups of him growing impatient, no subtlety with his expectations. It was simply
• The only thing you had to showcase that the demo was important was the champagne and the fact that the older scientist becomes a bit subservient.

Nitpicking:

• "Now Proto serve." He's a highly intelligent robot but you need to speak to him like an ESL speaker?
• Why do the lights for the whole building instantly turn off because a TV malfunctioned?

Curiosity:

• British call a ping pong paddle a "bat"?

Wow dude, this is so great. I really love that CGI, it is really impressive. Overall, this has become one of my favourite shorts!

This took me two years, from writing, through getting some public funding (UK Film Council), through pre production, filming and finally post.
