God damn it Pixar always can make me cry.
Fuck you man I was doing just fine without crying tonight.
This is basically assault on my emotions. That shit wrecked me.
In. Fucking. Credible.
Wow, the animation is just next level too. The elements of realism in the animals mannerisms is fucking uncanny. Wow. Wow wow wow.
I havenβt been that impressed in a long time.
I figured the woman with the broom in the beginning was an important part of the story. Pixar has a way of writing their stories from beginning to end, then end back to beginning, then beginning to end, back and forth, before they even start working on the actual project.
Their drafting and revisioning is always top-notch. They never start without knowing what their end looks like, and the back and forth and forth and back just ties everything into one cohesive story better than if they just started and didn't even know the ending. Stephen King is very guilty of not know what his ending looks like, as a prime example. With Pixar, it's all interwoven. They've treaded the story from multiple directions and angles, and it just fits naturally together for how familiar they are with it.
I am going into this fully prepared to cry.
Edit: sniff
Why I care so much about dogs and cats being sad, and so little about humans overall?
Oh fuck man, when the girl reached out to the dog and it winced but still held. I started doing that cry where you're trying to keep the noise in so your body convulses slightly. It was so scared of being hurt but it just wanted love! OH GOD THE TEARS!
Pitbulls man, such beautiful beautiful dogs and they get some of the worse reps. They can be some of the best family dogs too. I knew one my aunt had that when her baby came the dog would never leave it and was so gentle with it.
When the dog flinches at her hand because he's just used to a hand coming toward him to mean pain. That's the part that hit me hardest. I've known too many dogs that have been abused and at first they coward at a hand coming near them.
I definitely read this as Pitbull's new short and I was very confused as to how Mr. WorldWide was branching out.
