Protecting Foundation with a River Rock Channel Drain Bed

all right so this is just a discharge line coming from a channel drain that we installed into this flower bed um there was a lot of water coming up on the foundation so what we did was trench out a space for the channel drain and then we're going to come up over top of that with this landscape fabric right here and then cover the whole thing in river rock and you'll never know it was here just doing some final grading the key here is that you have water flowing into the channel drain and you definitely don't want water flowing up against the foundation so part of doing landscape drainage is making sure that your grade is right the water flows into where it's supposed to go foreign Colorado River Rock that we're using it'll look really pretty once we wash it washed all the dirt off that River Rock's gonna make for a nice flow all right it's pretty nice looking got a five inch Channel drain collecting any of the excess runoff and uh shooting it down into the riverbed that's that uh Colorado Rainbow River Rock very nice
