pros animate their fav pokemon in gartic phone

so uh i wanted to do this round uh and this is no no like uh exact direction with this but i want to start off with the theme so everybody knows what they're going to be drawing uh for this animation round everyone is going to be starting with their favorite pokemon so you don't shoot you don't even need to say what your favorite pokemon is right now because everyone will find out at the end what your favorite pokemon is which i think is really nice and uh yeah maybe you can tell us why it's your favorite pokemon at the end all right well would that be else let's go so let's start with animation hello oh boy uh okay this came out pretty weird this kind of looks like the pokemon it's gonna animate really badly but whatever it's the best i could do [Music] oh well i can't wait to see this gone over into this i acted quick and i'm proud of myself for what i came up with and you can do uh accent color by the way guys for like little sparkles or whatever oh my god why oh this is like my second favorite same so what is what's everyone's favorite eeveelution oh [Music] [Music] honestly oh that's unique yeah i feel like espeon's like everybody's sleeping on it yeah i like the one that loses its legs i feel like leafy and like glacion are just kind of like there yeah you know they're my least favorite because i really um don't like their designs and i'm sorry i know a lot of people like them but yeah they really really like it there's a lot of a lot of missed opportunities with those designs i i never really hear anyone mention them oh a lot of people like them they're they're like popular with fan artists i think but i like leafeon this is so bad but it really feels like they just kind of have the design they do just because they were like oh we need a grass one oh nice one yeah and then the names are the same come on please exactly the name could be better yes um oh you know what's really like funny about that is um you know i was trying to think of like what would be a better name than um leafeon and it there really isn't like a lot you can come up with but um the prefix actually means sparse so like you could it could have been sylveon but then they used that on a different one i like sylveon too oh sylveon ruled ass i love yes i really should focus more on on this than talking i mean i i haven't said a goddamn word what the [ __ ] is this oh oh i know what this is i know this is i think um uh okay i beg the guard people to make a button to turn off onion skin who wants the responsibility of saving uh once i'll make a folder i'll i'll save it okay okay cool i'm on ipad so you know it's not great is this even what i just shoot i know what pokemon this is if i need reference because i can't definitely miss some details so out of curiosity how much of the show did any of y'all actually watch [Music] first i love through pokemon i just played the games i really liked the games but they didn't watch the show i was more of a game guy too yeah yeah i've never seen or played any of that i just like i just like some of the designs because they're cute yeah you can be a fan of the general concept of pokemon i think i think a lot of people have you're probably better off that way to be honest yeah yeah i think the fandom gets really weird like every time a new game comes out people are like really mad and i never really know why people are really mad but lots of money behind it still a bad game i'll just say it oh no you're wrong take it back i used to like the games when i was a kid i don't really like commend your bravery i only played off games come behind me chocolatia bravery but now you must die tell me how much you hate me for my pokemon take whoa okay i know this pokemon but i don't know how to draw it so i'm gonna do my best to kind of keep this going one of my favorite pokemon but not the favorite is a clef key because it's literally some keys like the the artist the designers are like kind of running out of ideas what they look in their pockets i actually really love the one that's just everybody hates it so much but i think it's cute i like the ice cream ice cream one yeah i feel like um the guy who designed that i believe is also the one who was the uh the art director on sword and shield and um his name is like james something and uh [Music] [Laughter] [Music] and i'm just thinking i'm just sitting here like man someone feed james please he's hungry he's a good designer yeah i think it's really cool though yeah it's neat because i think he's like british and he got to do the designs for the british region yeah that's that must be like a dream come true i'm kind of sad he didn't make a toast sandwich um beans and toast dude i wanted an eevee that was steel type that was a knight i thought they were going to do it oh don't know i did a i did like a fake mon design for that i called it chevelle rion oh cool i want to see that marion oh my god i'll link it in the discord lanceon oh my god that would have been a perfect oh my god cool stop damn it oh chat said that i was like damn it now i'm mad that they didn't do it i oh i didn't finish it was turning out really good i'm just i'm actually amazed i haven't played uh the sword and shield ones because the whole league system is based on like the british soccer system which i love personally [Music] so i'm like it's like almost tailor made for me why haven't i played it i love the premier league is so cute does professor oak count as a pokemon tray yeah i mean yes he's a researcher he counts i like him he's pretty a little while and this is kind of made me love it again oh yeah i've had an animation on the back burner for a long time and this is making i stopped animating and this reminded me why [Music] wait what it i can't even just evolved so [Music] what are you talking about your nose a very elaborate system of hand gestures very audible i think they call that sign language oh it's a good boy oh i messed this up um oh wow oh my god i know what this is um jack is all donated five dollars a really good idea saying why don't we sometimes you guys do a round where um the whole point of it is that they start as their first form and have to morph into their last form that's a good idea yeah it sounds like an art school assignment jeez well you probably get reference ahead of time for all of them in case i'm so sorry russ being so bossy it's just knows to help people we do it all the time yeah the collaborative nature of animation it's okay ross i like when you're bossing um okay that was not was a little boy i had a red and blue but on my blue version i had a blastoise named bubbles and i was very i loved bubbles so much and then one day my game save corrupted for doing the pokemon duplication glitch and i lost bubbles and i was very very sad and since then i always call all my blast noises bubbles your greed cost you your greatest possession yeah oh my god the real lesson pokemon was trying to teach you by leaving missigno in oh nice he's having so much trouble come on come on you can get it out you can do it you can go bubbles yeah oh yeah oh sevens and chap can i get favorite pokemon is evie and i think it's all about the potential potential to become anything yeah and besides that i think ditto would be really useful in practical everyday situations if you need something a model to draw from ditto can transform into that object or creature uh you could probably drink it and it would taste weird like that when you could put it out you could bring it before let me just start to hear before it was weird and then it would be like a really popular ditto comic where it turns into a person like way before detective pikachu becomes human and turns into a person just by saying ditto like i agree with everyone yes manning its way up oh yeah like yes dude don't roll it's a spiel that's so good you knew how did you know oh there's a note there's a note i was like [ __ ] that's amazing you figured that out telepathy yeah oh that was so good oh perfect the transform and then the it's like perfect it looks like it was animated by one person yeah we like the balance and then we're one person [Music] [Music] [Music] that's a good reason very good reason i feel like i don't recognize this one so it might have been the one i screwed up because i didn't know what was happening wait wait what's happening he's going in the shell oh like a koopa oh he lost his tail no it went in though oh i guess that goes in doesn't it yeah that's right and now mario losing my mind incredible i'm actually gonna go back into the pokemon face because of this yeah i'm a hundred percent better perspective on the hands oh this one was tight it was way lord or something
