hi friends today i will show you how to add procedural scratches in your material let's get started press 0 for camera view please open shader editor now click on material preview button to view the materials in shader editor add veronoi material connect distance with base color change euclidean to minkowski add a noise and color ramp node connect factor to factor connect color to exponent add one more color ramp node add three color stops by clicking on plus in color ramp give this color stop a gray color give this one a lighter gray color [Music] this one will be dark gray now add some room to add more nodes add musgrave texture add mix rgb node connect color to color connect height to color change factor to 0.23 connect color to to base color change scale value to 2 detail to 16 and dimension to 0. add one more color ramp node add color stop by clicking on plus give middle color stop gray color add an invert node connect color to metallic add a bump node [Music] connect color to strength connect normal to normal change strength value to 0.083 now duplicate the last color rant node connect color to factor connect color to base color give first color stop any light color as per your liking give second color stop darker shade of same color third one will be a color for scratch play with the color stop setting in each note to change the look of the scratches [Music] click on rendered preview button for render view add a plain mesh for background press g key and then z key to move plane in z direction [Music] press r key and then z key to rotate it in z direction press s key to scale press tab key for edit mode press edge select click one edge press e k to extrude select middle edge and click on control plus b to add bevel press tab key for object mode press w key and select shade smooth option add a material to plane give it any color i will add one more mesh and duplicate the same material with a different color press g to move move cube to one side add a sphere mesh press g to move press w key and select shade smooth option now open cube material and duplicate that material change the color as per your liking first color stop to lighter and second color stop to darker color your procedural scratch material is ready now i will show you the rendered image and animation now please subscribe to my channel and support me it means a lot to me
