this is Nicolas Cage making sure it's plugged in we're making pizza right hi all right I was a barista it was one of my favorite jobs but it was like 17 years ago I feel like everyone here right here just loves coffee so much they're like what you've never made a latte I usually go like pour over coffee plus milk I normally don't really make all this can you make latte art with chai okay that's a like 18 and 20 grams 18 I'm gonna go with 21 grams and then the next thing you want to do is like basically if you leave the grounds just centered in the cup like that in a little mountain when you press them down they're not gonna distribute evenly across the cup so you want to just kind of spread it out a little bit I've been told not to pack it down too firmly [Music] I got you someone okay you're supposed to see your milk first and then pull your shots as the coffee starts to change nice dream touch that I mean this press oh when you see the liquid starts to kind of rat tail like spin around you know you're pretty much done pour this in here we got a nice warm cup we got our shot full milk is the easiest milk to steam and keeps it shaped the longest the way that the fat content reacts to heat makes it more pliable even though I practiced a lot with almond whole is a little more it's just less persnickety okay I'm gonna go whole milk just because I refuse to choose something that I wouldn't then drink I usually just go for a whole milk in coffee or espresso and I also know that non-dairy milk skim sometimes foam weird you need to start with cold milk for the best foam and this was hot all right so I'm just gonna do like this much milk I put this sticker here it's a pee touch label then the wanju animals you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna clean the wand and then also because you left the wand dirty you want to clear it out see it says it right there on the sign clean the wand you animals the woman who trained us literally said the most important thing is keeping your wand clean don't read anything into that you start by just like dipping it in the like getting this like almost up till here and the knob and then you like fully submerge it to really like foam it up wait I know but how do I turn these with my toda I know how to do it but how do you want me to hold it and do like thank you for the advice I know but I have to tell you these on I don't put your hand under here after I turn this on we're live okay ready I'm ready ready set go and you want to keep your hand on the bottom when it starts to get hot oh well I don't know how you know it's foamy enough this doesn't seem foamy enough this seems like it hasn't done much so I'm pretty happy with my phone I'm just popping bubbles you want to give it a little tap that basically the foam that it creates is less dense than the milk so the foam is gonna rise to the top I always want to pour a little bit out so we're gonna start with coffee scape I've seen these a couple of times you move the cup to put a bunch of the milk I mean you say I'm spilling then you stay in the middle and nothing is happening they never for from the spout they feel about it oh they poor for me I feel like they always do that this is why okay got it no you know what I'm gonna save this make a little well sunrise you got to get the cream here here here well cheat look at that huh now we're getting there I pulled this away too early not steamy all right I decided to go a little looser hold on maybe we need some dirt there's a sand the Hawaiian fan this is like street art but make it watch it how does it compare I don't know what that is I'm done I'm done it's not my best work but I need to know how like bears I'm really proud of this like seeing what's art these days I think that we could get like a pleased he's like a guppy mm-hmm so this is more like a cafe au lait which is just you know espresso milk so there you go that's how you don't do it it is abstract I think of it more as like kind of outer space but sure it could be a man a little bit of hair here and then you see his chin and now he has a mullet head I would say this is one of this is like a magic eye if you look really closely you can see a pattern but otherwise it just looks like foam on top of a cup of chai look it looks like butterfly that is sort of time you see is right there yeah we'll get him next time do you want my cappuccino Andy boy my sweet Andy we're not gonna drink espresso do it I know you do I do I drink I do captions every morning but I do almond milk let's just pray balance not too not too much milk you eat with your eyes you know so yeah I get it
