what's up y'all it's naja from all things nation and i'm back with another video in today's video i'm going to show you guys how to use print and cut on cricut to create the cutest little character shirts for your kids let's go sexy for this sir too sexy for your girl true sexy friend today's video i'm going to show you guys how to use google um qriket design space and some transfer paper to create simple cute shirts for your kids so i was trying to decide what would be a simple character to go on to the shirts and i think that i'm just going to go ahead with mickey mouse so i'm just going to type in mickey mouse and it's best to type in mickey mouse png just to get you know the best results you will get a lot of these fake pngs like this that's not really png but um you want to try to find a good photo so i think this one is cute so i'm going to go ahead and press save image as just so i can give you guys a quick little tutorial then i'm going to go to cricut design space i opened up a new project already now i'm going to go ahead and upload an image that last image to be exact then i'm going to press complex and i want to remove that background which i can simply do by just pressing it and there you have it the whole background is gone i'm going to press apply and continue and i'm save it as a print then cut image so press this and then press upload now i'm going to press it again and press add to canvas so here he is mickey is right here now depending on the size of your shirt i am using a i think this is a size 12 to 18 months t-shirt that i got from dollar tree so i'm gonna just look at my shirt and determine how big i want my design to be so i'm gonna compare it to my qriket mat understand though that print and cut only allows you to have but so much um space to print then cut so i think i like six inches lengths and about five and a half widths so let's see what we can do there so i already have the six in length and then the um width happens to be 4.8 so i'm just gonna see if i can make it just a tiny bit bigger just like that after i have the sizing that i have all together i'm gonna go ahead and duplicate this image because i am making them for two babies and then i'm going to go ahead and press make it now after pressing make it what it's going to do is send it on over to your printer and you don't want to mirror the image here it has both of them right here so once i see that they're fine i'm going to go ahead and press continue then it's going to send to the printer so what i'm going to do here is i have been watching some other videos and basically they tell me to use system dialogue so i'm gonna press that so and then i'm gonna show you why and i do like to add bleed now because it makes sure that none of that white is showing if my cricut is cutting just a little bit off so let me go ahead and press print and for a printer i do have a hp envy photo 7155 it works great for me so after you see i press use system dialog so after i press print this popped up and over here basically what this is is i'm gonna go ahead and press preferences and then quality you want to go ahead and press best i already had it as best but you know you want to go ahead and press best then press okay because you want it to print it's best and then i'm going to go ahead and press print i'm just going to turn you a little bit so you can see my printer over there don't mind my makeup brushes and all that but now it's going to print and here's where you want to go ahead and get your cricut mat it's all set and ready so here's the first one i'm going to wait for that one to print because i can't start the project until it's printed so now that i got my cricut connected what i'm gonna do is press i have it my favorites already printable iron-on dark i will link the iron-on that i use the um transfer paper that i use in the description bar below so you can see exactly what i use then what i'm gonna do is go ahead and put that in there [Music] [Music] [Music] and it literally cuts in 10 seconds this is honestly just like a sticker now you just want to carefully peel it off so and this is what it looks like after being printed put that over to the side [Music] now this one's gonna cut [Music] that's in no [Music] remove time peel away the sticker just like the first one and again this is what it looks like so now i'm going to go ahead and get my press plugged up for the heat you're just going to go ahead and follow the directions on whatever transfer paper you have i'm going to set my heat at 315 and i'm going to press for about 30 seconds so that's what i have my machine setting up for i'm going to get my shirt together i am using briscoe baby um cute baby apparel um i got this from dollar tree so of course it was only a dollar i'm gonna set up my mat for my easy press making sure that i have enough room for everything so exactly how this is a tri-blend shirt so make sure i have that ready you want to make sure that you have some parchment paper or butcher paper candy when you're using print and cut i'm just going to look at my design [Music] that's letting me know that it's ready to cut just looking at my design making sure that it is you know a good size and a good fit so i can see how to press and then from here on guys it's literally so easy you're just gonna preheat your shirt for about five seconds all right nice and preheated and you're going to place your design exactly how you want it i like to go two fingers underneath the collar for little baby shirts like this you're gonna press put your parchment paper on top and press with light pressure and start for 30 seconds all right that sound means that it is done so i'm gonna lift it and take a look at the design yes it came out really cute i see the colors warmed up and became more vibrant after heating it up so this is what it looks like i'm going to go ahead and do the other one for you guys just in case you didn't see or we need a little bit more help which is fine we're all learning here place my shirt make sure it's right preheat for five seconds while getting my design ready all right design is ready place the design where you would like it it's up to you everyone has their own preferences making sure that you little flimsy parts you put down correctly or else they will not press out right go ahead get your parchment paper put it on top making sure that you make sure everything is smoothed out place your heat press on top and press go and this is what it looks like if you guys enjoyed this video go ahead and give me a like please comment down below what you would like to see from now on i will be back with another video very soon share this to all of your friends thank you for your support and i'll talk to you guys later bye guys
