Print Password Protected PDF Files

hello this is ahmed from digital inspiration and today i'll show you how to print a password-protected PDF so here's a sample PDF file that i have and if i open it inside acrobat reader now you can see that i can view the file without any problems but if i go to the print menu you'll notice that it is disabled now if i go to the file properties you'll notice that the security settings of the document disallow printing so how do i remove the print restrictions from this PDF file and print it well if this were just a small one-page document I would have taken a screenshot and send it to the printer but that would obviously not work if if it's a very long document so here is a simple workaround that will help you print any password-protected PDF Google Drive so what you have to do is go to your Google Drive and upload the document [Music] after the PDF file is uploaded is double-click the file to open it and it opens in the Google Drive preview window now you notice there is a little print icon in the upper right corner so just click that print icon and you get the usual print window so you can print now any file without any restrictions so your problem is now solved but there's one more thing that I would like to show you the PDF file that's on your desktop is still restricted from printing so if you were to print it any time later you would have to upload it to Google Drive and repeat all these steps go to the file in Google Drive and open it now this time again click the print button but don't print the file this cancel the print dialog and you see a little down arrow that's for downloading the file just click that now save this file to your desktop and then I'll reopen this file inside Acrobat Reader if you go to the print when you see the print option is now enabled and if I go to document properties you will see that this document now allows printing so this is how easy it is to remove print restrictions from any PDF file simply using Google Drive thanks [Music]
