affirm that our god is the only true and living god he is one god eternally existent in three persons god the father god the son and of god the holy spirit the scripture reference for the shema is found in deuteronomy 6 4 and mark 12 29. our next affirmation is the tova in the tovah we affirm that our name is sealed in the book of life forever the scripture reference for the tovah is exodus 32 33 and revelation 3 5. it is customary for us to lift our hands toward the heavens when we recite our affirmations we recite them twice in hebrew and twice in english i ask that you repeat after me your will your emotions your thoughts your imaginations your passions go ahead your desires go ahead and give him all your dreams and aspirations he wants it all he wants it all in a world that's chaotic and confused this morning as we rise we are saying we surrender our will unto you that regardless of what we feel like this morning and what we've heard in the news we still surrender to you that our fidelity and our foundation is found in you can you shout unto the king as you are surrendering and lifting your hands as a sign of surrender father we approach your throne with on an armed rebels we surrender our thoughts to you our fears to you our anxiety our worries we surrender it all we surrender it all every question every situation we surrender it and we ask you to receive our worship receive our adoration and turn give us your supernatural grace peace let us feel your love your fidelity and your faithfulness to us we give you praise in jesus name can you shout unto the king of kings and to the lord of lords come on come on can you shout can you shout and give god praise hallelujah there is none like him in all the earth hallelujah glory to god come on shout again i surrender i surrender i surrender all all i surrender all i surrender [Music] hallelujah to him and to him alone i surrender glory to god hallelujah hallelujah when mighty is our god and mighty is he in the tabernacle in the place of his enthronement he sits on the circumference of his glory and he rules with majesty and power and with grace amen and we're so excited about what father is doing we're excited about where we're living even in this uncertainty time in this time where we know chaos and conflict wants to rule in this month but we know that god is still the ruling supreme master who's still on the throne he's still ruling in the midst of what the enemy would try to contaminate and so i just want you to lift your hearts and lift your heads that god is still in control as we legislate his authority in the earth protect as prophetic times i've been announced and things are happening in real time or asking you to keep your posture in god and watch him do phenomenal things i told you that this month was going to be chaotic and conflict but if we would pray we would minimize the enemy's damage that he wants to seek to empower his kingdom and to overthrow the kingdom of god amen amen amen and so if we continue to pray we continue to lift up our nation and continue to lift up those in leadership um we ask you to keep your hearts firmly saturated with the love of god with the presence and the power of god amen amen amen glory to god so we've been talking about praying effectively how to get your prayers answered and i seem like it seems like that um we haven't even got to that point yet because we keep talking about what can hinder your prayers and i think sometimes we tell people what to do but we don't tell them what not to do and sometimes we don't get the full revelation a manifestation of what we're believing for because we didn't give them the protocol spiritual discipline to have them to happen everybody wants to run a marathon a marathon seems fun it seems like i made it through i finished but nobody wants to take the months and the months that it takes to train nobody wants to take on the diet that is necessary and the pain that is going to be incurred by working your muscles and prayer is a good concept people say all the time they pray but nobody wants to take the time to work their prayer muscles because prayer is work you have to be inten you have to be intensive you have to have expectation you can't put a time line on god like you're gonna tell him when you're gonna pray it's you're on call 24 7. and prayer seems like a good concept i heard a pastor say that he has a head intercessor and they were doing a schedule and the head intercessor was scheduling everybody out and never had her name on to pray and he asked the intercessor he said uh you've been the head intercessor don't you think you your name should be down to pray and she said well i thought i just delegated prayer and i got to laughing because that's what most christians do they delegate prayer they say they're praying but the heavier weightier matters of the kingdom of god that necessitates intense prayer longevity and long sessions of prayer watches and programs they delegate that out now we see why we have a mess in our nation [Music] the answer is not in government the answer is in the church if my people he didn't say the unbelievers he didn't say the buddhists or or the atheists he didn't say the hindus or the indian he said if my sons and daughters humble themselves and pray seek my face turn from their wicked ways he says i'm amazing he says i'll hear from heaven he didn't even say he'll hear you he said i'll hear what you have lodged in the heavens and i'll heal the land that's the antidote for what we're facing even today in jesus name let's get your bibles let's do a quick word wow james 5 16 have been a foundational scripture remember um scientists and many uh people who deal with uh neuroplasticity and deal with neuroscience say that it takes a person seven times to hear something before they begin to act or believe to act seven times to hear it seven times seven times now you wonder why naaman had to dip seven times because it took seven times to cleanse what was in his body it's gonna take you seven say seven seven times to hear this word where you are praying effectively seven times to be reminded of things not to do so your prayers will not be hindered in the king james in james 5 16 it says confess your faults one to another and pray for one another that you may be healed the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much the american standard version says the supplication of a righteous man availeth much in his workings in his work prayer works for you if you work it most people in the body of christ don't like to work you got a work prayer that that means that you you are employed by god to pray you are employed by god to bring legislation in the earth through the medium of praying remember your purpose is to pray your strategies will change i want you to get that i'm gonna say it until you get it the purpose remain the same but the strategies will change the strategies will change and so you have to learn how to navigate that uh the amplifier says it like this the heartfelt persistent prayer of a righteous man or believer can accomplish much when put into action and made effective by god it is dynamic and can have tremendous power prayer is dynamic and it has tremendous power it has tremendous power little prayer little power much prayer much what i'm gonna say it for the folk in the balcony little prayer little power much prayer much power you won't pro power then pray you got to learn the art of praying praying is a art it is not something you just haphazardly do then you'll have hazardously have the backlash of the enemy people think they can just run into prayer without preparation without being governed and led by the holy spirit because the bible says that we don't know how to pray but the spirit himself will make intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered if i'm available if i yield my members to the holy spirit he'll pray through me constantly continuously but if i have only mental assent i'll just think i can pray five minutes and it's okay i'll just think i can say lay me down and sleep and it's okay or i'll get this thing i'll just say thank you jesus and that's enough or i'll spend five minutes come on little prayer little power little power to do what to change lives little power to change the trajectory of somebody's destiny and purpose little power to change your city to change your family little power little little little little little power means you got little prayer life and if you don't have no power that means you don't have any prayer life at all praying less than two hours a day equates to little power what we have if god di bikusky declares that he wants us to honor him and he asks us for 10 in our money then we should at least give him 10 of the day which is two hours and 40 minutes come on people of god and and so if we look at that the bible says that it has tremendous dynamic tremendous power it has power now we said i'm gonna be redundant because it takes seven times for you to get it amen that we're the first place we have to be effective in prayer is learning how to honor god learning how to honor god approaching him as abba as father the disciples said teach us how to pray and in matthew the bible says he says our father which art in heaven then you have to distinguish that he is your father you have to know what a real father will do a real father will correct you a real father will rebuke you a real father will never leave you a real father will never forsake you a real father will help you mature to take over his business so so we honor him as father and if you never had to honor earthly father you're going to learn how to honor your kingdom father you're going to learn how to honor him to speak to him to to call him for who he is that he's faithful he's mighty he's amazing he's sovereign there's nobody like him in all the earth nobody can love me daddy like you and i'm fully persuaded that whatever i ask you according to your will you hear me and that you hear me and that you will give me the expectation of what i believe that that you have that full assurance of the trust of god then we said you have to be humble you can't honor unless you have humility that means i'm brought law i won't be prideful that means that i don't believe that that what i have i got it by my own goodness that means that everything i have you gave it to me and if it's good for me you did it if it's not good for me it's something i generated amen and so the bible says he'll withhold no good thing from us and so we humble ourselves to say god everything i have i'll be but dust if it had wasn't for you paul says i count it all down i count it all down i count all of my accomplishments all of my education all of my success i count it as nothing that you make glory through me the greatest compliment you can pay to anybody is that they humble themselves before the mighty hand of god not not that they got cars and houses airplanes and big buildings but do they honor god do they humble themselves before god and when you humble yourself before god he says i'll exalt you and if he exalts you he exalts your prayers because your prayers never leave you they're attached to your prayers your prayers are spiritually attached to you like a homing device why because it has a reciprocal that is as it ascends to the heavens it must have some place to come back to okay all right all right all right then we said prayerlessness breadlessness is not not praying prayerlessness prayerlessness is praying less than one ought now the bible says that daniel prayed three times a day now what if daniel just prayed one time a day do you think he would have survived the lion's den a lot of what we're going through is because we don't dedicate time to overcome the situation that's coming could god have caused him to avert the situation absolutely but god got more glory out of him going in the lion's den and coming out unharmed he got more glory with the hebrew boys going into the furnace he got more glory out of their tribulation and because they had a prayer life that was effective they were able to go through hard situations and come out without the residue of what they've been through on them are you hearing me some things you have to go through it is necessary but my prayer life has already given me the victory they said oh great king we don't we don't care we don't even know he says but we know our god is going to bring us out we don't know how he's going to bring us out but he's going to bring us out how do you know that because in prayer this morning while we were up legislating and while we were praying about this babylonian government the lord told us whatever would happen to us no fire would give quentin no water would drown us and that he would keep us in perfect peace whose mind was stayed on him some things are necessary for the glory they brought up blind men to him he said what what what sin happened to this young man he said no sin was committed it's for the glory of god sometimes you're coming out of what you've been through it's not for you it is for somebody else to come closer to god you're going through what caused somebody else to be saved you're going through cause somebody else to be delivered you're going through will cause somebody love language to come forth because it is necessary somebody say is necessary it's necessary for you to go through it's necessary for us to go through certain things it was necessary for the nation to come to this point it was necessary for us to have a hellish week it was necessary for the glory that's why we pray that's why we pray effectively because the people need to see the glory of god you have already been convinced of the glory of god you already know he's a healer you already know he's a deliverable but sometimes he has to let you go through so somebody else can be blessed by your testimony [Music] david said he broke me out of the bed and i conquered the lion and who is this uncircumcised philistine who would defy the armies of god david had to kill a bear he had to be antagonized by a lion he had to deal with his fear he had to have mastery in his ability to throw a sling [Music] it's in the lowly places it's in the dark places in the wilderness places where god teaches you how to rule but it's not about putting nachos on your belt it's about suspending the kingdom and knowing that you are usable by god that if god needs a testimony in the earth praying less than you ought is prayerlessness men out always pray and not faint that's what has happened to us we have been feigning we have been distracted we have been loved to sleep we have lackadaisicalness in our prayers we are not intense samuel says if i don't pray i've sinned against god if you don't pray you sin against god and you sin against people who you are assigned to what what if jeremiah would have abdicated his role the bible says i may he says i knew you uh before i form you and i i i i ordain you to be a prophet to the nations what have happened to the nations if jeremiah didn't stand up what would have happened to david if it hadn't been a samuel what it happened if a samuel had not come on the scene because his mother knew how to stay at the altar until god opened her womb chataka live until robert i felt somebody's room just open i felt somebody it's a banger they also somebody dated in nine months we got a baby ah shut up also you go war with that thing you you can't pray about it two two times you can't pray it about it just one time i'm warring with my destiny my destiny must enter into this earth realm and my assignment is to get this baby in my womb and hold it for nine months until i burp this thing into the earth [Music] it's because of lack of effort we don't we don't we don't put any intensity and we're lackadaisia acts 4 says that acts 12 and 4 says that that they were praying for peter in jail and because of their intense continuous prayer the angel delivered the men of god out of jail we talked about selfish motive and being selfish in prayer and praying for your for no more your prayers will be ineffective if all you do is be centered on yourself our prayers must be god-centered and kingdom-centered and not just about us wanting our way instead of god's way telling god what to do for us isn't that amazing you're telling the supreme master who created over 40 million constellations the human body is so complex that scientists still haven't figured out and we've been on the earth for billions of years we can create a computer that can go faster than you think but it's still made by man and we're going to tell the master what to do we're going to tell him who should lead us we're going to tell him oh y'all quiet in here now you're going to tell god by your voting who who's supposed to be over us you sound like the children of israel we are selfish because we have been delivered from racism from the lack of love we we haven't been to the roofs of mine delivered yet because we want to tell god what we want to do like a faith we don't have any faith we we lack faith we don't have any faith the bible says and and james one but let him ask in faith wavering nothing for he that waver that's like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and toss for let not that man think he shall what think he receive anything he says if you're wavering back and forth i don't care how many tongues you pray in you're not going to receive anything so let me let me clearly something up right now just because you pray in the tongue doesn't mean your prayers are answered and we became rule sick he and i equated praying in tongues with our prayers getting asked him why i don't care how much water come out of a nasty faucet i don't want it y'all y'all to hear me i don't care how clean the water is if the receptor car if the fountain is contaminated and dirty i don't want to clean water and if i don't want water from a dirty fountain god don't want your good prayers from your dirty contaminated flesh and you can't speak to your neighbor you you you got bitterness and unforgiveness when you stand praying forgive when you stand praying for gear if you have heart against anybody he says don't even put your gift on the altar he said leave your gift why because it's gonna be contaminated and folk don't understand why they don't get blessed in their giving because their heart and right and if i regard iniquity in my heart god won't hear me if he don't hear me he don't receive from me i can't get nobody to help me here that don't mean nothing if your heart is not right if you have not been a sign in a line with the spirit of god if you still got malice racism prejudice if you've got your own will invoked in your prayers if you are disobedient to the word of god if you've committed yourself to agendas that are anti-christ god will not hear your prayers you remember the story of balak and baylor they got in a relationship together and he asked the man of god to curse the nations and because of their friendship and because of the gifts he attempted to do it and god says you can't curse what i've already blessed and he was about to lose come on his life because of the relationship he had relationships can prevent your prayers from being answered how are you going here's why he said don't be unequally yoked when what unbelievers and unbelievers can call themselves believers and come as isa makai as an employee from the enemy to rob you of your prayer life it's called contamination i said it's called contaminate y'all not hearing me i said it's calling cause contamination leaving leaving reconciling and removing yourself removing yourself from relationships the relationships that i had you know growing up and now we call ourselves homegirls and all of that but but but some of us took a different direction and because they took a different direction i had to draw a line in the sand i can't be unequally yoked because their lifestyle can rub off on me birds of a feather and somebody said if you lay down with a dog who has fleas and i know that cause i grew up on a farm to dogs that have fleas and one get contaminated all of them get contaminated and don't say well i can be their friend and still be you know no no no no this is a spiritual thing come on don't take it personal don't take it personal i'm on a spiritual assignment and i've got to complete everything that father has given me to do and in this season you may distract me in this season you may deter me in this season you may delay me and this assignment must be done in the time grid that god has given me [Music] glory to god wrong relationships as a barrier in prayer let's go to first peter three and seven first priest i feel the anointing of the holy ghost first peter three and seven say pray say pray say pray effectively pray intently pray passionately pray boldly pray confidently pray with expectation the bible says in first peter 3 7 this for you marry folk it says likewise husbands dwell with them according to knowledge talking about your wife your own wife giving honor unto the wife not the girlfriend the wife i'm coming up in through here uh-huh the wife as as unto the weaker vessel as being heirs together of what grace of life i i like the way the scripture said being heirs to the great that means you can't get grace from god that your spouse will not receive that you are heirs together in this life by grace that is the unmerited favor when a man finds a wife he finds a good thing and obtains what favor we obtain favor together god ain't favoring you and ain't favoring me we in this thing together but look what happens look what the bible says according uh look and being heirs together of the grace of life that your prayers be not hindered that means i can't even dislike my husband for a moment i can't be mad at my wife for a moment all them prayers we've been praying and everything we've been confessing and everything we've been decreeing when we get out of alignment our prayers are hindered that means the enemy is resisting our prayers and we've got too much on the line to act so foolishly to allow the enemy to come in and to steal and to rob what we worked so hard for don't let the thief the bible says the thief coming to steal kill and what destroy [Music] if you're gonna fight anybody it cannot be the person you sleep with remember our warfare are not with people with bodies glory to god your relationships your relationships the bible says that you be heirs together of the grace of god that your prayers be not hindered we talked about rebellion and sin we talked about sin should be the first thing you think about when you understand hindrances that's rooted in pride remember isaiah 66 i want to stamp it in your spirit the bible says if i regard iniquity in my heart he won't hear me if i regard iniquity that don't mean if i say something or do it if i just regard it in my imagination in my thought patterns if i'm saying things that are antichrist the bible says he won't hear me in the midst of all of this rhetoric in the midst of all of this chaotic uh chaotic situations can you imagine how many people prayers have been hindered stopped because they got iniquity in their heart i have never seen so much hatred i've never seen so much division in the church i'm not even talking about in the world because the bible says that gross darkness is going to come but we should arise and shine for our light has come and the light is coming we're acting like the darkness why because our hearts are not right we regard iniquity that that thing that's possible so what's the planet in your heart and your spirit in in your subconscious by faulty teaching by by by by your familiar spirits that your family didn't get rid of and god is exposing the church [Music] he's exposing the heart of the church he's exposing the heart of the church lift your hands help us oh god father we have sinned against you and you alone and you alone and you alone can i give you two more and i'm through keep playing the next one is the lack of persistence the lack of persistence the bible says that there was a widow woman that went to the judge and she told the judge avenge me of my enemies and the bible says for a moment he looked at her but he didn't answer her and the bible says that she start wearing him down that everywhere he went she showed up that means she was persistent and understanding how to get her prayer answered you've got to be persistent how bad do you want your prayer answer how many times will you go before the throne what will you sacrifice will you put a seed on it i was believing god for a particular thing and a man of god called me and he had no idea of what i was believing for [Music] and he said nesbitt you got to put a seed on it but you got to put a substantial seed on it sometimes you got to be so persistent that is called for a sacrifice that whatever it takes to get this thing done whatever it takes to get it in the earth our sacrifice our sacrifice the bible says that that solomon sacrificed and god says because you didn't ask for nothing this is what i'm going to give you sometimes in your persistence and being in a place where it calls for long suffering you gotta do something sacrificial more than just your time that i'm so persistent that i'll keep coming i'll keep coming god i'm not going i'm away the bible says give him no praise give him no no no rest until you make us a praise in the earth sometimes you got to be so persistent you say here i'll go again god here i am i'm pushing back the tv what what what will it take for me to get this in the atmosphere what do i really pin up do i need to fast do i need what a persistent spirit is whatever it takes whatever it takes long no i'll do it i'll do it i'll do it i'll do it persist and keep on praying when you feel weary when you feel tired when you feel like you don't have nothing else to say start worshiping i'm not gonna stop god i prayed everything i know how to pray i break the scriptures i'm going to praise you and when you can't praise him start worshiping and when you keep worshiping start clapping clap your hands all you people shout on to god with a voice of trying and if you don't know what else to do the bible says that your tears become an exchange the bible says he'll take your tears and he puts them in vows of bowls in the heavenlies and the bible says that when those bones are full that they tip over and cause a release in the earth as a repentant heart my tears become persistent day and night i whip my pee by my my pillow until i see your hand and lastly not willing to wait god is waiting on you god is waiting for your obedience we said in psalms 84 11 no good thing will he withhold from those who what walk upright are we living in disobedience are we in such a hurry to run out of prayer that we don't wait for the strategy are we so eager to get it over with like a religious routine instead of like an intimate moment with my abba the intimate moment with the bridegroom where we go into the chambers and go deep into the heart of god into the chambers of his heart and we sit there and we meditate and we rest and we sit there quietly until he gives us i don't mind waiting god as the dear panther for the waterproof sound of my soul painted after you in a dry and thirsty land i seek you i want to be with you i'll stay right here if it takes me hours i won't be distracted i won't be moved i'll put my flesh under i'll tell it to be quiet and i'll sit patiently waiting i don't mind the weight so i can get the weight of your glory [Music] if you can wait w-a-i-t he'll give you the w-e-i-g-h-t if i'm going to be effective in prayer i can't have a timeline yes we say we have prayer we have a routine in a prayer we know we're gonna pray at least this amount but i'll wait that after my two hours if god says just wait if i don't hear anything i just want to be with you can i just hang out with you i don't want to move i'm so enamored by this presence and and then what i feel god uh the fool can wait the children can wait the the husband can wait i i just got to tell them that i'm going to be with you for another couple of hours that i'm i'm in deeper i'm in deeply loved with this and i can't let it go i'm i'm too entangled now i see heaven i hear the angels and i smell something i sense something i sense the father just want me to hang out with him and i won't move until he tell me to move can you give me more time to hang out with him just just give me a little more time i gotta have some time with him he wants me i i like smelling the aroma of who he is i i love the smell i love to taste his words i i want to stay right here ain't going nowhere god many walked out on you today but i'm gonna stay right here many didn't even say hello today but i i will stay right no nobody thank you today but i i want to stay right here i want to be the one and say you are my beloved son and whom i will please that when you get through you hear him say thank you i remember a story i'm through i remember him story of jesse the planet saying that he was in the presence of god and and god said jesse make me laugh can you imagine and some of you say well god y'all religious god wouldn't any father love the good lad a real father if you treat him like a god a deity and that you have no personal relationship then yes you would think he doesn't need to laugh but if you're treating him like a abba like a father that you can climb up in his lap and that he can he can move the tears from your eyes and when you climb up in your lap and you can kiss him on the cheek and when you come pervertedly climb up in his arms and he can hold you into all the cares move and when he asks you something it is easy because he's my alba and whatever you ask me i'll give it to him because i don't mind waiting in his presence i'll wait you'll always be effective in your prayer if you wait on the instructions don't be so quick to move from the place it is your permanent place of intimacy don't tell me you're a lover and you don't know how to love god that's flesh that's lust but a real lover a real romantic you know women you look for a romance in a man who loves god and know how to romance if he can romance god he will have no problem romancing you men if you ever find a real woman a real woman a real not a real a real woman that knows how to love god and worship god you'll never have a problem with her loving you [Music] lift your hands we'll close this out next week vanessa you didn't give me too many things on how to make i'm giving you enough of what not to do you're gonna begin to pray the word the first place to be ineffective after you've gotten get you're getting you're getting all of this stuff out of you let's begin right there with the word the word is a more sure covenant [Music] he says not one jaw to one tittle of my word to pass away he said if it does heaven and earth will so i rather find scriptures in the word that pertains to my situation wait on the holy ghost and begin to regurgitate the word of god then i wait on his inner presence you don't have to be deep in prayer you don't have to have the right word sometimes especially if you're a novice you're just getting started and even for you ones who think you know everything just go back to the word just go back to the word moses when jesus when god was going to destroy the children of israel he said you can't do that he understood his word he said you can't do that he stood as an intercessor in proxy between him and the judgment of the people of god they say
