I can't believe my GT3 used to look like this but now it's Judgment Day after rebuilding and fitting structural parts which we shouldn't have necessarily had we want only certified body shops to work on it's time to take this thing to Champion Porsche for them to inspect our repairs flying over 4 000 miles to buy and rebuild Adam Ozzy's crash GT3 has definitely been a rebuild to remember but after we got it on the road in the last video there is a problem engine control error this problem stopped me from taking the car over 6000 RPM but I think I know what the issue is [Music] now we're 90 sure that this issue is to do with the exhaust and if you remember when we first picked up the car we found it had a standard exhaust on but Adam who owned it previously put on an aftermarket exhaust and we still haven't fitted the diffuser as well because we need to change out this stock exhaust [Music] foreign so on this is the stock exhaust and one thing that we noticed straight away are the valves are unplugged which open and close the valve but this I think is part of the engine management system so when you get to a certain RPM it opens the valves to the exhaust the issue is not only are the valves unplugged they're not even on the exhaust Adam must have taken them off but we think we have a solution for that a new titanium exhaust a jcr exhaust and it is crazy light we haven't opened it yet um but I can't believe how light this thing is so we're going to take that off and put this one on there's going to be a massive sound difference and hopefully hopefully we can get that limp mode issue sorted and upgraded at the same time let's do a before let's do a before sound first foreign yeah the jcr is gonna make this better let's do it the cool thing about the GT3 the engine is in the back the manifolds run out here which go into a catalytic converter and an OPF filter but the part we're changing comes from that which is this huge back Box start the clock here we go the jcr exhaust is an OPF back so all we're loosening off now are the two clamps which clamp the exhaust to the OPF filter and then all there is after that is a bracket which holds the back box to the car and it's as easy as that [Music] Adam is a good lad inside there is the catalytic converter but what should be after that is the OPF and obviously in the US well in Florida you don't need catalytic converter or an OPF so he's actually removed the opfs which is good it's going to be louder we're going to keep the cats in because I think if we remove them we might need a tune but there is a slight issue these should have the valves on they should have the electronic valves and it looks like Adam's taken them off so we're going to need some kind of valve delete kit but we'll sort that out we'll sort that in a minute for now let's unbox the jcr exhaust we could not believe the weight of this thing it was so light wow wow and the welds on it were unreal but they I think they're called brush titanium tips I think they just look clean it does come with a valve delete kit to use this I need the valves off the stock GT3 which if you ordered this normally you'd have the valves off your stock car but I don't have them so I can't use this valve delete kit without my standard valve so we're gonna have to try and solve something there but for now we're just going to put this thing on solve that later let's do it not only should this improve the sound of the car we're also taking a lot of weight off it the stock exhaust is super heavy and it even comes with a certificate of authenticity and we're only 12 minutes in and we're already putting on the jcr exhaust how amazing does that look just for the exhaust tips now stop the clock 22 minutes and 34 seconds to fit a jcr exhaust to a 992 gc3 without the diffuser so this was a stock diffuser which we found at the front of the car and we think this happened from not the crash but loading the car onto the trailer and it's completely scratched up the bottom it's wrecked some of the fins and I was pretty sure I got a quote from Porsche and it was like 100 or 200 pound for each individual fin on the diffuser so instead I went on eBay and I bought a secondhand one from a breaker's yard but it was still a thousand dollars which is around 800 pounds new diffuser but we can't fit this yet so we need to get these valves sorted as soon as possible we're literally going to Porsche tomorrow so I've actually ordered these from sole performance and it's a valve delete kit with this I can plug this into the standard uh Loom and that should cancel all the codes off the dashboard and take it out of limp mode the only other option was to get this standard exhaust valves from Porsche which were 400 each 400 a valve for each side they then have to be calibrated to the car which I'll have to pay for and then I'll have to take them off and use the valve delete kit for the jcrs instead of fitting the rear diffuser now we'll wait until tomorrow morning for it [Music] that sounds so much when we can get that limp mode off this is gonna Scream the next morning the valve delete kit arrived can this tiny little module take the GT3 out of limp mode well we're about to find out I plugged them into the standard Loom and then just zip tie them out the way and it's on with the brand new secondhand diffuser [Music] okay I have small doubts that it's going to be out of limp mode straight away you might have to cancel codes come on Porsche behave still in limp as it was still in limp mode I plugged in the diagnostic tool and went to cancel all the codes but the only code on their left was to do with that front-facing camera nothing to do with the exhaust which left us stumped no good damn we continue to try and figure out why the call was still in limp mode but after I left the ignition off for a while then turned it back on something happened [Music] let's just take a while to realize wow yeah yes come on yes posh let's hear the exhaust noise [Music] oh my God what jco exhaust everyone yes this is the best car ever yeah [Music] [Music] [Music] and here we are arrived at Champion Porsche it's Judgment Day these are the guys that weren't allowed to sell his Parts due to the strange U.S regulations but today we're going to find out how well I rebuilt this thing and the guys are also going to finish off a few things that I missed out let's get it inside this place is the mecca of Porsche dealerships in Florida but what are they going to think of my crash damage 992 GT3 have rebuilt cool does this workshop look the technician who's working on my car is Adam Bring It Around yeah plug in the scan tool I'm going to read the whole entire car out I can see what type of pulse that we have see if it's active what's not active what can be clear what can't be cleared okay and then we can go kind of from there I know there's a few faults which we'll pick up but yeah it's going to be interesting to see what what your opinions are then because we can't work some of them out Adam took the car into the workshop where he'd begin the initial look over and if I'd rebuilt this car well enough it should be impossible to tell it's been in an accident because the GT3 is actually a clean title car now I believe there's a few faults which may come up here keeps coming up with the headlight fault on the dash so whether Adam can find it or sort the issue and there's probably a few more but they're the last few issues that we couldn't figure out before we came here so this computer is probably going to pick them up Adam then plugged in the special Porsche diagnostic tool which should reveal a lot of hidden secrets about the car just like car vertical wood you see even though the Porsche is a clean title car I can find out that it's been in an accident using car vertical there's an amber light at the top of the report showing that this car has had previous damage the new layout on car vertical gives me more information about the car and also shows me the mileage records of it but here's the hidden secret I can see that the Porsche was registered damaged in December 2022 so even though it's a clean title car there's no escaping car vertical and if the car that you're checking out was auctioned off at a car crash auction website it might even show you the photos of when it was there so to get peace of mind of the next car that you buy or perhaps you just want to check out your own car you can do by clicking the link in the description box below and use code map for Discount as well which is comfortable so something's on fun down there there was a brown plug which didn't go to nothing that we thought anyway but we have a fault for a camera system them so I thought is there supposed to be a camera down there sometimes some of the harnesses they have depending on options that does have that yeah right okay this is all front camera so if you had everything apart in here there's a good chance that that may be unplugged right ah I wonder if the plug for that is in the a pillars it probably runs up to it so we thought the front cameras on the front bumper yeah but it's actually there bro so that's why we got it wrong that makes sense that makes sense would that affect the headlights yeah because it's if you have a high beam assist it goes off that camera that could be it then it could be it we have to find where that connector is for the that camera then and plug it in one problem sorted and it wasn't long until Adam found another the washer line we've rooted it or if you're American routed it the wrong way I didn't fit that now that the codes have been scanned it's time for the car to go in the air so Adam can begin to inspect underneath it and also our repair work we picked up some small damage on the under tray but again Porsche attacks are going to be really anal about any arrow on this car there's a cable that runs down the full tension so there's another actually a GT3 right here same model year and you actually see what you're actually missing here it's the cable holes holds tension yeah so on The Pedestrian protector bar yeah so there's a small cable missing but then we found something that could have been quite dangerous brake leak oh well that could have ended badly if we went to the track this is wet here whether it's tight or not we don't know that's why it's always good to inspect the cars after rebuilding them and driving them for the first time as there's bound to be little things that could be missed but there is one fault that we knew about so we actually ordered a drop link from Champion pause it should have been here today but unfortunately it's just got almost delayed in the post but the guys here have mentioned because we're potentially going on track tomorrow they're going to help us out and this green one over here they've said it's okay to steal one off that so a massive thanks to Champion pause because we need that drop link so it's down to you now Adam absolutely I'm so surprised Champion Porsche let us do this but desperate needs call for desperate measures so up goes the green GT3 and Adam is going to take the drop link off that follow us on social media uh Instagram Twitter Tick Tock YouTube at Champion for sure so that's what everyone's going to do now for letting us uh steal this drop link up fine 100 Ben we knew it was Ben we didn't forget we knew it was better and this one is straight there we go Adam you can actually fit the drop link without removing the wheels as it's only two bolts one on the anti-roll bar and one on the top Wishbone everything must get touched and one side and we taught that up we're on to the next issue oh fitted next thing the front Arch line in the last piece of the build we're going to give this to Adam and we're going to go and take a look around the place thanks Adam oh can we have it in super track spec yes absolutely So Adam and team cracked on would fit in the front Arch lining which should be the final piece of the build and whilst they were doing that we got a quick tour of the place and this place was huge we got to see the mantai GT3 some Carrera GTS new and old Porsches as well and even their GT2 RS race car that they built as well uh we'll clean it up and we can pump it up and make sure it's nice and sealed so hopefully the brake line is just a little loose and that's why it's leaking I didn't tightened it up and then pumped the brakes and the results were in I've seen any residue coming out it's nice and dry right now just that extra little turn now we're about to find out whether the car's straight or not and look how blue the exhaust is already what the guys are about to do is a Manti four-wheel alignment they're just the ride height the camber and the toe on the car and if I put the front tub of the car on wrong or even a millimeter off then they're gonna pick up on it now this alignment kit uses four platforms on each corner of the car then make sure that the steering wheel is perfectly straight and the car gets lowered down onto the platforms it then uses a laser so they can measure the ride height from the floor and Adam had this car decked we're aiming for 90 millimeters off the floor now Factory if you had like a man take kit in here it would be 90 millimeters so right now you're at about 40 43. yeah so we're 43 millimeters off the floor and we should be 90. around 56. and with 56 millimeters off the floor on the driver's side so Adam's got a lot of adjusting to do but always looking good so far look how many times they do it until they get it right so right now the guys are just in the camber of the wheels so the way the wheel goes in or out like that on sort of a Manti uh setup I would suspect they're going to run more camber so when you're going around the corners more of the tire will touch the actual Road surface I believe that's the technical the technical way of yeah more entire contact with the road yeah in a straight line more like that and then around the corner more like that technicals this is a super long process but it should completely transform the way the GT3 drives and after they were all happy with the alignment back on went the wheels they needed to get talked down and then we can check out the new ride height [Music] perfect so we've got one question for you um there's been some thoughts you've found been some folks to fix if 10 out of 10 was a brand new showroom car and one out of ten was how Adam LZ left the car smashed up and they put it on a scale and what would he need to do to get it to a 10 out of 10. wait before we get the result there's one last thing that we missed off and we need to go somewhere special for that of course the GT3 badge which Adam is kindly fitting now [Music] and what a beauty it's turned out to be and what a rebuild this was [Music] but I think it's about time we got our results it's you know for the amount of work that uh it was put into it and after the exit I would say I mean at a Porsche Center I'd probably say out of GT3 I'd probably say a good solid eight that's probably an eight that's looking good to me and what a way to end an amazing build but it's not quite 100 over just yet thanks so much for watching this video if you've enjoyed it hit that subscribe button hit that thumbs up button and I'll see you in the next video [Music] I just can't deny
