Police identify victims in deadly Philadelphia mass shooting l GMA

to the mass shooting that left five people dead in Philadelphia we're now learning more about the victims and police are identifying the suspected shooter who they say was armed for battle Trevor alt is in Philadelphia with the latest Trevor good morning good morning so the suspected shooter was just arraigned on more than 30 charges officials say they were armed and armored firing at random killing multiple people including a teenager doing this knowingly and deliberately and even shooting a toddler this morning investigators in Philadelphia urgently trying to uncover why they say a suspect won on a horrific blocks-long Rampage disarmed and armored individual wreak havoc firing with a rifle at their victims seemingly at random shooting seven killing five including children babies this surveillance footage obtained by ABC station WPVI appears to show a person shooting at a nearby intersection police say they received the first calls around 8 30 Monday night they said the suspect was wearing body armor and a ski mask armed with an AR-15 style rifle and a handgun multiple shots they were taking active fire scooping people up getting trying to get into the hospital to save them police say officers engaged the shooter in an alley but did not return fire the suspect allegedly surrendering nearly four hours later investigators were called to a house where they say the body of a fifth victim was found we believe the ceased victim at the location inside of 1600 South 56th Street was the first shooting victim authorities say the shooting victims range from 59 to as young as 2 years old including multiple teenagers officials say that shooter who multiple law enforcement sources tell ABC News is 40 year old Kim Brady carricker is going to face multiple criminal charges we'll be facing multiple counts of murder and will also be facing multiple counts of aggravated assault as a first degree felony weapons charges among others in the city now Mourns the lives taken 59-year-old Ralph Morales 31 year old Joseph wama Jr 29 year old dimir Stanton 15 year old DeJuan Brown and 22 year old lashad Merritt he took my side you you took my baby Rashad's mother Marie says her son was just headed to the store across the street from home when he was gunned down it's like I feel him saying why me why me why me and Philadelphia officials say they're frustrated and outraged by this shooting and by the constant prevalence of gun violence and this isn't even America's most recent mass shooting just overnight in Washington D.C there were nine people celebrating the fourth who were shot in a drive-by shooting including a nine-year-old Lindsay yeah clearly a problem Nationwide Trevor thank you hi everyone George Stephanopoulos here thanks for checking out the ABC News YouTube channel if you'd like to get more videos show highlights and watch live event coverage click on the right over here to subscribe to our Channel and don't forget to download the ABC News app for breaking news alerts thanks for watching
