the excavator put the rocks in the back of the dump truck bye bye dump truck [Music] no more rocks no more dump truck [Music] wow this excavator is so neat i think we should look at the parts and learn the parts of an excavator okay um first [Music] oh this right here is the bucket yeah it scoops stuff up and puts it in the back of the dump truck or digs up a hole and and puts that dirt or material in some other place right here that is the arm and it extends the bucket out further or digs deep right here whoa that is the boom the boom and arm are attached to the bucket and the cab the cab is where the operator of the excavator sits and then how the excavator gets all of its power is from the engine wow that's a big engine back there and then the excavator actually runs on tracks wow tracks are really useful because then you won't get stuck very often whoa that's so cool that looks like most of the parts of the excavator we will learn today [Music] wow [Music] [Applause] that back goes here and now everything is all gone i think this is a perfect time to learn the parts of a backhoe wow what a cool piece of machinery okay let's start with this part um this thing back here yeah that is the back bucket it digs and scoops wow that's really cool and then that part right there that is the arm kind of like this the arm and then the boom that's the boom and the boom in the arm can extend and rotate and dig with the bucket and then look at these things [Music] those are the stabilizer legs they go down and keep the backhoe stable while it digs wow and then this is the cab that's where the backhoe operator sits and drives the backhoe or they face that way and operate the back bucket and then this is the engine that's where the battle gets all of its power from and then that is the front bucket wow it's really big and then those are the tires and that looks like about all the parts of the backhoe it was so fun learning the parts of the backhoe with you if let's color the airplane [Music] gray [Music] and last but not least because clouds are white we need to color our planet earth um i'd say green and blue are two pretty good colors to color it [Music]
