by for some world-class no-limit hold'em to be played on this epic stage inside the imperial forum of the Atlantis Resort and Casino on Paradise Island yes everyone the PCA is back and it's bigger and better than ever before with a brand new poker arena I'm James Hartigan alongside me two of Canada's finest Gryphon Benja and Daniel Negreanu from Team Pro Daniel how excited are you that the PCA is back where it belongs on the poker calendar okay I'm actually even more excited after watching that intro video I just wanna play some poker I'm super excited the set is absolutely amazing it's one of the coolest sets I've ever seen looks like the actions heating up already with the super high roller right off the bat and a good field for that I'm still in that one and looking forward to winning the first one yes you're obviously gonna take your seat in the super high roller very soon Griffin what a great way to start our coverage with the 100k event yeah you know the PCA is such a flagship event for four players because it's the start of a new year I mean you kind of feel it off and off Daniel you know he's excited to to start as you're strong at the PCA 100k is such a huge premier event and who better to start it with at the table than Kevin Hart yes indeed and there is Kevin arriving now his first bullet didn't go very well yesterday but bullet two somewhat better culminating with some carnage on the very last hand of the day Allen has gone all in and call go go go go Oh Ryder versus the whiner go and you say never loses I was gonna spend another hundred grand I'll have to and the Academy Award goes to [Laughter] so just to recap what happened there Kevin Hart with Hussein bolt on his round sure you spotted him in the background there gets it in with King deuce against ace Queen gets extraordinarily lucky when a deuce hits the flop and then gives Rayna Kemper an extended rubdown and rain is still smiling at the end of it Daniel yeah I mean it's rare that somebody can repeatedly say to you you are so stupid and you're also laughing it's very different than when Phil Hellmuth parades you this is one where you laugh along with Kevin Daniel let's talk about your day one you had some incidents should we say along the way yeah it was a little bit of a rocky start so I make a king high flush against the ace high flush there goes bullet one but bullet two went much better I was able to get up to about 440 thousand and today 35 players will be sitting down for day two we have seen 12 reentry's in this event Griffin can you get into the mindset of reap buying in a 100k tournament I can't even imagine I know Daniel you must have put in you know upwards of 500 thousand in a single tournament before what what does that feel like um well yeah there's been times where you know when you make the decision beforehand you're like okay I'm gonna do this right when you're in it and then there's rebuy available and you're like wait a minute how much I'm in for now that's when you start to feel a little bit like wait a minute mate maybe I should have quit early but it's so difficult to do you know you're right there you can feel it you can taste it's a big price pool so most of these guys if they get busted they're gonna reenter well we're almost ready to go the feature table is headlined by Kevin Hart if we look at the full lineup on the main stage it's pretty stellar Griffin yeah and a great balance of really talented high stakes players and when you look at Christopher Kruk and Chris new touch in those guys have more of an online background representing that crop of players Eric Seidel one of the longest time legends in the game Byron Kamerman such a steady presence on the super high roller front and then Stefan Sodom higher you know only 23 big blinds but had one of the best years out of anyone in 2017 so a lot of great narratives surrounding the enigmatic Kevin Hart there Daniel I know you bet you've got to take your seat you've actually got to play on day two of the super high roller so thank you for spending some time with us at the desk before we get cards in the air but it is now time to get the action started on day two of a million nearly 1.5 million up top the eventual champion and we're heading over to the secondary feature table where it's Daniel Negreanu vs. Makita Potter cough ski trip Jack's for Negreanu budget cough skis paid his king this is not likely Dan well for Makita going to the turn which is the five of spades Daniel now in 95 percent favorite and his clock is running well we know he would probably get paid out of that twenty five thousand quick call from budget Cobb ski River is the fiber clubs powering the board daniel improves to a full house and he bets enough to put budget Koski all in not a good spot to be in Nikita shuffling his time bank cards those are worth 30 seconds each they buy you additional thinking time if your pot runs down to zero bar to Kowski buys 30 seconds now this is obviously a tough decision but I think Daniels not gonna have too many Bluffs here especially that clubs also got their 10 seconds you probably to another 30 seconds here we go again does 75,000 Kevin hops faults Sam tables a straight flush gotta show it Sam Greenwood you straight flush and son of a gun we're gonna stay out in the field because there is a big pot at one of the outer tables it's the Battle of the guys who are 2nd and 3rd and ships respectively Scott Seiver and even Luca Seaver all in with Queens against Eamon Lucas kings he van Luke is having himself a year a pot worth 1.2 million and Scott severs tournament life on the line King still holding on the flop and on the turn no Queen on the river Scott Seiver is eliminated didn't he start the day's chip leader should I not bring that up a ridiculous cooler which sees the guy who started the day as chip daddy bust out in 33rd place started chip daddy now he's like my actual daddy leaving and the boss is now even Luca he has a huge chip lead post up 1.4 million hello new daddy [Music] we are in the Bahamas for the PokerStars Caribbean adventure 2018 super high roller when we've already seen the surprising exit of start of day trip leader Scott Seiver and that's propelled Argentinian Pro even Lucca into a commanding chip lead to players who've won this event in previous years are in the top 10 bring Kenny with around a hundred big blinds and with a 130 big blinds stacked currently second on the leaderboard steve-o toir and he is just eliminated Makita bot zhukovskiy from our secondary feature table but I didn't even get a chance to sing if you like my body and you think I'll check rays come on then and call me down what a pissy Steve lifted the trophy here in the Bahamas like in 2015 just made it into port yesterday the winds were favorable in the sea was kind what was the accent meant to face traditional fishermen flight is still 3 6 maybe action the feature table has been folded to Kevin Hart he's got King Jack he is raised to 13,000 quick folds from everyone including David Peters who's just joined the table vic Pietrangelo defended his big blind - flops a set of force whoa go Hart from the main stage there are no easy tables in this tournament but at least he was used to the people at that one they'll be joining Brynn Kenney and Justin Bonham OHS table meanwhile at our secondary feature table Daniel Negreanu is up against the reigning PCA super high roller champ Jason Koon Daniel's ahead with a pair of eights but jason has a ton of equity with a pair and a flush draw turn card sees Daniel improved to a set he's now a three-to-one favorite big turn for Daniel but Jason still got plenty of outs groaning that's 35,000 with straight and flush draws no shot jasonfults so we go to the river 124 K in the park it's the 7 of spades it's a straight for gutter ball Jason is the effective stack here with 200,000 behind Daniel bets half that 100,000 Jason Shops another hundred yep kind of painted himself into a corner here Daniel has to cool right he's priced in yeah but he probably knows he's never good here this is just never a bluff also it's annoying to have to fold a set remember this event plays with a shot clock 30 seconds per decision Daniel plays a time bank card it's a small raise relative to the size of the pot but not relative to Daniel stack on over to James Emery oh ho now Kevin is a polarizing figure I think he's hilarious and I enjoy having a big personality at the table but so many people watching are just so angry that there is someone who they feel is distracting from the game yeah and understandably so this is $100,000 super high roller buy-in so it can get a little bit off-putting I think to hear somebody constantly talk especially when other people might have big decisions but I'm a fan of Kevin's I find him to be thoroughly entertaining and good for the game well I can tell you Maria that the redraw is done and just redrawn four seats now position is everything in poker but there's one man who makes an impact wherever he sits when Kevin Hart sits down at the table it changed the mood entirely like obviously the turn five of spades the board gets fluffier and straight yeah I think in general this is gonna be a better card for Justin than it is for Kerri check check river for free another Spade the three adventure 2018 where Kevin Hart is looking for his first live tournament cash that's how you play a hair like a pro historically recreational players have had good results in this event Kerry cats finished fourth for more than half a million dollars back in 2013 and Dan Shak has been the runner-up twice cashing four combined two million and change but despite some big scores for the amateurs the trophy has always gone to a big name Prague [Music] it's somewhat comforting to me to know that I have the exact same number of super high roller trophies as Daniel Negreanu well the action is on Daniel at the secondary feature table Queen nine of clubs under the Gunn raises to 22,000 follow two Seth Davis he's out when Kenny Falls the small blind Dan Shak is in the big blind with aces people say aces are yummy re-raise to 85,000 Daniel loves hands like this Dan Shak however not known for getting out of line too often Daniel will get to play old future streets in position he calls the three bet and we go to the flop which could get Daniel into trouble it's come Queen high no this is not good Shaq is a three-to-one favorite with his over pair to the board 182 K in the pot Shak 57k in 262k yeesh now I know it looks like he's bullying us I was almost a pot size bet but this is almost always value 57 Kevin Coles and David Peters tables King for four trips sick needle Peters so shoot Kevin see bet the flop oh I see wow what a jerk you are just smart enough to reserve comment until I've seen all the whole cards meanwhile its man down we've just lost nick Pietrangelo yes he was bad Nicky see at the Festa eliminates it by Chris Kruk he got crocked I love how you're trying to make that a thing oh it's a thing baby back to the feature table kevin has opened the action he's raised from the cutoff with ace-queen it's made at 25,000 to go and the action is on jean-noel Ferrell with Queen ten suited on the button bar he's in yeah there sweded Eric Seidel has ten nine suited in the small blind écoles which means even Luke is getting a great price in the big with 96 he's got by far the worst of it but yeah those are some pretty sweet parts comment everyone's in this part up a flush draw to go with a straight draw Kevin still ahead is anyone gonna bet the answer is no nobody wants to bluff into three people a six on the river so Luca goes from worst to first how he's thinking about betting 15,000 into 106,000 wants that ace-high call old man no luck there Queen hi big boy he wasn't bluffing sir even Lucca consolidates his chip lead he has more than 2 million right now but we need head over to the secondary feature table where a former PC a super high roller champion is all in and behind Steve o2i with ace-queen against Bryn Kenny's pocket queens nothing flop Dwyer looking for an ace still needs to hit one of his three outs with one card to come it's a seven Oh twice out I must return to my vessel that's not the same accent as earlier different fisherman with steve-o two out in 17th place we are down to 16 players down to the last two tables it's time for another redraw look at them stacks brink any closing in on the million mark now I love the game of poker and I love Brin Kenny and Kevin's made it to the top 16 up with these pros oh come on please well here's how the remaining players stuck up even Luke has been chip leader for most of the day and currently has more than 2.2 million Daniel grown who sits comfortably in second bring Kenny currently fourth in chips while Kevin Hart is right to keep those fingers crossed he's in the bottom half of the leaderboard with fewer than 30 big blinds other shortage snacks include the reigning champ Jason Koon and Mustafa canít next time will Kevin Hart make it into the money who is it going to
